Sephiroth withdrew his hands and sat up as if nothing had ever occurred in the first place. When his plate was presented to him, he eyed off its presentation before he picked up his cutlery and began to tuck into the food.
“I suppose this place isn’t so bad,” He mumbled, “Provided you can understand the menu.”
August 20, 2011 at 12:10 am #52826SeferiaKeymaster“You could have always just asked the waiter if I were not around,” Jenna softly spoke as she picked up her utensils. While she had seen them used many times before, she still wasn’t that good at using knives and forks. So, she poked at the food a bit as she observed what Sephiroth was doing.
August 20, 2011 at 12:42 am #52827Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth slowly nodded his head at Jenna’s comment. “Yes, I suppose I could have, but I did not want to risk looking like an uneducated idiot.” He watched his mate’s behaviour and picked up the knife in his right hand, and while holding the fork in his left hand, he carefully demonstrated how he was cutting up his food before eating.
*”I would have thought you would be good at this by now,” He told her via telepathy, “You’ve had a couple of hundred years of practise, yes?”*
August 20, 2011 at 12:49 am #52828SeferiaKeymasterJenna narrowed her eyes as she watched Sephiroth, paying attention to what she was doing. When he contacted her via telepathy, she grunted in annoyance.
~I have not been practicing how to carve food all that time.~
August 20, 2011 at 2:00 am #52829Kat AclysmKeymaster*”You’ve been in many situations with this set-up already though, I am sure.”* Sephiroth continued to carefully cut up his food for eating, going at a slow pace to ensure that Jenna could still observe and learn from what he was doing. He munched through his dinner, pushing his plate off to one side once he was done with it.
August 20, 2011 at 2:03 am #52830SeferiaKeymaster~I’ve been in many situations where I could fake it by picking at the finger food while the idiot rich boy that I was planning on stealing from then killing flapped his lips,~ Jenna rectified Sephiroth’s proclamation. ~It wasn’t really until you came along that I had much reason to try to genuinely eat human food. Heh, most men just assume I care about my figure if I poke at my food.~
The sorceress was slower at eating her food than Sephiroth was. Part of this was because she was unsure as to how to use cutlery, and the bones in the quail got in her way. The other part was that she didn’t really find the food that appetizing. Once she ate about half the food, she slid the plate over for Sephiroth to finish off.
“I am full,” she proclaimed.
August 20, 2011 at 2:56 am #52831Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth flattened his brows when the food was offered to him. “What makes you think I want this.” He stated in a quiet voice. However, he picked up his fork and began to munch on the remaining portion of Jenna’s food.
*”I suppose you don’t want dessert.”*
August 20, 2011 at 2:58 am #52832SeferiaKeymaster“Heh, you’re a male,” Jenna stated as if that was more than enough reasoning for her to believe Sephiroth would finish her plate. When he asked if she wanted dessert, she simply shook her head. “No, you know I don’t require as much food as a human does. However, if you desire one, feel free to get one.”
Jenna grinned as she watched him finish off her food. For the most part, she had been enjoying this night.
August 20, 2011 at 3:33 am #52833Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth set Jenna’s plate on top of his and then ordered a strawberry flan for dessert. He munched through it within a few minutes, seeming disappointed with the size of the portion.
“It’s been a relatively quiet and pleasant evening, I have to admit.” He stated quietly. “It was a good idea to bring us here.”
August 20, 2011 at 3:42 am #52834SeferiaKeymasterJenna smirked at her mate. “Of course it was a good idea. I thought of it. I always think of good ideas.”
Chuckling, she leaned forward to seductively lick some of the sauce off the corner of Sephiroth’s mouth. She didn’t care that they were in public, not that she ever cared. She loved doing things that would catch others off-guard.
When the waiter came with the check, Jenna pulled out a card from her sub-space before she set it down in order to pay for the food. She didn’t bother looking at the bill as she prepared to pay.
August 21, 2011 at 9:20 pm #52835Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth jerked his head back a little, having not expected such a manoeuvre from his mate. “Must you? Look at the kind of venue we’re in…” Once the meal was paid for, he carefully slid out of his seat and stood next to his mate’s chair, offering her a gloved hand.
“Shall we depart, my dear?”
August 21, 2011 at 9:27 pm #52836SeferiaKeymasterJenna smirked at Sephiroth’s reaction. Instead of giving him a real good reason as to why she had licked him, she simply winked at him.
Once she had put up her card, she happily took his hand so that she could stand up. “Hrm, yes, I suppose we should depart, huh? Where to now, oh Great Sephiroth?”
August 22, 2011 at 11:12 pm #52837Kat AclysmKeymaster“We could book a hotel room somewhere, or go home. Or go back outside and watch the storm, if you so desire.” Sephiroth stretched on his heels slightly, seeming quite pleased. “I’ll let you decide, seeing as though you suffered through that dinner.”
August 22, 2011 at 11:17 pm #52838SeferiaKeymaster“Hell no to the hotel, Seph,” Jenna shook her head at the man. “Not unless you wanted to go to another country or something. There’s no good reason for us to get a hotel room when our home is perfectly fine and comfortable.”
The woman leaned forward to gently kiss her husband. “As for your other idea, if you can think of a good place to watch the weather, why not? Though the dinner was my idea, so you can’t say that I suffered through it.”
August 23, 2011 at 5:58 am #52859Kat AclysmKeymaster“I can say that if I want to.” Sephiroth replied with a smirk on his features, “Because it’s fully possible to suggest something that you’re not going to enjoy very much, you know. I do not think you are the type of person whom would do that, but you never know.”
He shrugged. “We can find somewhere secluded and sheltered to watch the weather if you wish.”
August 23, 2011 at 6:04 am #52860SeferiaKeymaster“Hrm… I do as I wish when I wish for whatever reasons I wish, Seph. You should know that,” Jenna smirked back at her mate. “I care not whether you can make sense out of my choices or not.”
“And.. Hmm… why don’t we just ride your bike and see where it takes us, hm?”
Without waiting another moment, Jenna moved out of the restaurant. She was not bothered by the fact that it was steadily raining outside.
August 23, 2011 at 2:54 pm #52861Kat AclysmKeymaster“We could do that… but it’s raining heavily outside, is it not? I do not particularly want to get wet… or have the rain stinging my face and eyes while I am trying to concentrate on where I am going.” Sephiroth frowned. “I’m guessing you’ve never had rainwater splash into your eyes while speeding down the road – it’s not a pleasant experience.”
He stepped outside anyway, but stood under the awning outside of the restaurant door, debating his next move.
August 23, 2011 at 3:05 pm #52862SeferiaKeymasterJenna rolled her eyes at Sephiroth’s statements. She had ridden motorcycles in the rain many of times in her lifetime. So, such complaints were minor to her. Thus, she just circled behind him.
“Seph… Come now, there’s an easy solution for that sort of stuff,” Jenna scolded her mate. “First of all, you are the best psychic around. You could just make a psychic bubble around the bike to keep water away from you. Or..”
Jenna cast a spell to steal a pair of riding goggles from a nearby store before she suddenly lunged forward to put them over Sephiroth’s eyes.
“There’s always the practical solutions as well. Or, if you don’t like that, I could always drive.”
August 23, 2011 at 11:33 pm #52863Kat AclysmKeymaster“You’re not driving.” Sephiroth’s statement was firm. He frowned as the goggles were suddenly placed on his head. “You’re serious, aren’t you. You honestly want to ride in this weather.. very well.”
The male sighed as he took his motorcycle out of subspace once more. The rain seemed to be coming down even harder when he mounted the seat and turned it on.
“Are you coming or not?” He smirked. “I should have known you would enjoy this…” He shook his head slightly – his hair was already getting soaked.
August 23, 2011 at 11:43 pm #52864SeferiaKeymasterJenna faked a pout when Sephiroth informed her that she wasn’t driving. “Hrmph, I think someone here has trust issues.”
The woman remained under the awning as Sephiroth pulled out his bike and got onto it. After humming to herself, she smirked at him.
“Maybe I will, maybe I won’t. Maybe I’ll just see how good you are at driving,” the woman teased as she cast a spell to summon one of her own vehicles from her stockpile in Halcyon that had managed to survive, a Suzuki Hayabusa. This bike was black and sleeker than Sephiroth’s, but it was still a clearly expensive build meant for racing. She then hopped onto her own bike.
“Or perhaps I’ll just see if you can keep up, boy.” Without waiting another moment, Jenna hit the throttle on her bike and sped off.
August 24, 2011 at 6:52 am #52865Kat AclysmKeymaster“No, somebody has ‘I don’t want you to drive’ issues. What would you drive anyway? I already have the motorcycle back out.” He rolled his eyes at her when the other bike came out. “Oh please,” He snorted, “Why would you even bother racing in these conditions. You’re just going to end up in a ditch.”
He sped off after her, leaving behind a skidmark and tyre-smoke.
August 24, 2011 at 6:57 am #52866SeferiaKeymasterJenna spared a split second to smirk back at Sephiroth as she sped away. While she could have taken the moment to summon a helmet for herself, she didn’t feel like bothering when she had started this off. So, her wet hair whipped around her as she flew down the street, not seeming to care about speed laws or the weather.
~We shall see who gets themselves into a ditch,~ Jenna taunted back as she playfully performed a sharp turn that pushed her body’s and bike’s abilities to handle the G-forces before she continued on another street. She fully intended to taunt Sephiroth with her own driving skills.
August 24, 2011 at 11:27 pm #52867Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth raced along after her, his motorcycle’s wheels scuffing and skidding as he manoeuvred the bike to go where he wanted it to. Still, Jenna remained ahead as he didn’t exactly wish to push the vehicle under such conditions. He had already come off the bike previously and did not want a repeat-performance.
August 24, 2011 at 11:50 pm #52868SeferiaKeymasterJenna seemed to have no fear of crashing at all. She just sped ahead, spraying water in her wake as she raced down the street. Eventually, the woman drove into the industrial area and found a large 18-wheeler blocking the road. However, instead of stopping like a logical person would, the woman continued to race ahead.
At the last minute available before colliding with the trailer end of the truck, Jenna hti the brakes and jerked back enough that her bike was brought to a skid as she pivoted so that her side was barely touching the ground as she slid under the truck. Once she cleared the underside, she jerked the bike upright once more and spun around to see if Sephiroth would follow her or not.
August 25, 2011 at 12:09 am #52869Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth remained behind his mate as she led the way. He followed her through the industrial area and simply drove around the truck, taking a detour. The bike and rider sailed through crates of fish being unloaded and he upset several workers as he drove through their loading zone.
Once through the area, he drove back onto the path and began to accelerate once again in an attempt to catch up.
*”For how much longer do you plan to keep up this stupidity?”*
