Jenna: *glances back at Dr. Howlett before coldly stating* You stutter a lot. *snorting, she shakes her head. Soon enough, she reaches to her left side to undo the claps that hold her jacket/shirt together. Once the upper part of her outfit is loose, she removes her left glove before wiggling her arm out of her outfit in order to give the doctor access to her flesh*
Dr Howlett: I’m sorry… I’m just a little surprised to see both of you here. And last time, it wasn’t in the best of circumstances. *lowers his head* I didn’t want to have to think about what Hojo did again… *sighs and picks out the necessary equipment he needs to do a blood test and places a torniquet on Jenna’s upper arm before drawing blood from the veins around her inner shoulder joint* I can give you the results of this in about ten minutes. Would you like to wait around?
Jenna: *rubs her arm once the man is done drawing blood from her. After shaking her arm a bit, she slips it back into her jacket before putting her glove on and properly putting her clothes back together* Yes, I’ll wait. As for last time, I cannot comment on the circumstances. *she glances at Seph*
Sephiroth: *raises an eyebrow at her* *”The Jenova cells had plagued your mind. Your other personality was taking over. I wanted medical advice – should I abort it or not? In the end, it was managed.”*
Dr Howlett: Excuse me for just a bit… *carries the blood samples out of the room for testing*
Jenna: ~Ah, that man must not have had a good experience at all.~ *she shrugs, not overly concerned. She then rubs at her arm again* ~What will you do if this turns out to be a positive result..?~
Sephiroth: *sighs miserably at the thought and takes a seat on the doctor’s desk, pushing aside some papers* I don’t know. I suppose it wouldn’t matter now that I have the income to support all of these hungry mouths. Do you really want another one so soon though? *rubs his arm, his attention down on the floor* I wouldn’t ask you to abort it, I couldn’t ask that. The fact that you can even retain a pregnancy by my siring is amazing in itself. To ruin that… *shakes his head* No, you should keep it. But if this continues, I should look into finding ways of being made infertile.
Jenna: *frowns* Wouldn’t that cause a larger problem though? Did you not make some sort of deal concerning offspring in order to learn how to bind your soul to mine? I swore you mentioned something like that once.. We also told the Cetra that they could send souls of their kind to the vessels of our offspring in order to appease them.
Sephiroth: *sighs unhappily* Yes, I did. I did indeed…. *keeps his attention on the floor* I just wanted a means to not make you suffer through pregnancies any longer. It’s getting a bit tiring for you now, isn’t it?
Jenna: *frowns in thought. She then sighs and shakes her head* As long as I don’t get sick like I did last time often.. I can handle them. I suppose it’s good that I don’t need to fight for my life all the time any more, so not being able to combat during these things doesn’t bother me too much.
Sephiroth: I’m sure the doctor can give you something for the sickness. If that is what you want, I can ask him to do that. *narrows his eyes as he peers at the doorway the doctor left by* What’s taking him so long… surely enough time has passed. *sighs, seeming nervous himself. He begins to subtly rock his feet*
Jenna: I meant from rampart Jenova cells. *She shakes her head. She then tilts her head as she notices what Seph is doing. Soon enough, she slips off the table then walks over to brush her fingers against Seph’s left cheekbone* Everything will be all right. You know, you could just try scanning my abdomen like you have in the past, if it will make you feel better.
Sephiroth: That’s not what I’m worried about, Jen. *looks up at her, then back down at the floor* Can we handle another one? The latest one isn’t even standing up yet. Do we want to compound our situation even more? We have the room, but… *grunts* One day I am not going to have enough time for all of them.
Jenna: We have been lucky enough that our elder children help out the younger ones. Heh, we could always hire a nanny. *chuckles at the very thought* For the immediate, though, there’s nothing much we can do. Unless you want to go down to the Cetra, tell them that you’re breaking off the deal, piss them off, and possibly have them try to dissintegrate you again.
Sephiroth: They are of help when it comes to their care. I do appreciate it. *grunts at the thought of hiring a nanny and shakes his head* No, and no. I am not going to let some stupid nanny care for our children.
Dr Howlett: *walks back into the room with some papers* I have a definite result for you – you are indeed pregnant. Congratulations.
Jenna: *Deeply sighs at the news. She then shakes her head before looking over at Seph* Well, I guess that’s that. *snarling in annoyance, she then barks out to the doctor* I can use some type of… something.. to help manage the morning illness. I don’t particularly enjoy it.
Dr Howlett: *stares at her and promptly nods, moving to his desk to write out a prescription* Yes, yes… I’ll give you something to manage it. Take one every morning and before you go to sleep. The directions will be on the bottle too.. *scribbles on the prescription order and tears it off before handing it to her*
Jenna: *takes the paper then tilts her head. Squinting her eyes, she stares at the handwriting on the paper. However, she soon snarls then hands the paper to Seph* Is that in english? It looks completely foreign to me. *snorting once more, she narrows her eyes at the doctor* Is there anything else you need to do?
Sephiroth: *takes the prescription paper and scowls as he tries to read it* No… I don’t think it is. *folds it up and places into his inner coat pockets, nodding to himself* That’s all that is involved here today, I do believe.
Dr Howlett: No, no.. *waves a hand at her* Eat well… rest if you feel bad. Eat lightly if you are ill frequently, and do some light exercise. Oh, before I forget… *motions to the scales nearby* Hop onto them and we’ll start recording your weight gain week by week to see if everything is normal.
Jenna: *pauses and narrows her eyes as she glances at the scale. Snorting, she mutters* Never did this before for any of the other pregnancies. *Shaking her head, she moves to stand on the scale, which makes the stand sink a bit. She then crosses her arms. If the readings are accurate, she should seem to weigh around 210 lbs due to all the armor and hidden weapons that she has on her person at the moment*
Dr Howlett: *glances down at the reading, and then back at her* Um… you’re going to need to take all those heavy things off… *pushes the glasses back onto his face* You wouldn’t be wearing all of that later in your pregnancy anyway….
Sephiroth: *growls slightly, not liking the suggestion’s meaning*
Jenna: *narrows her eyes at the doctor then snorts before shrugging. Before her shoulders drop from the shrug, she finishes casting a spell that strips her of her clothing and drops it on Sephiroth* There, is that better? *she calmly stands there in the nude. As she is now, she’d weight about 165 lbs*
Dr Howlett: *blinks slightly* Th-thank you… *begins to mark down the weight measurements on the file, then closes it, nodding, turning away from her, partially embarassed* Come back in about two weeks. Follow my advice and get plenty of rest. I will see you another time.
Sephiroth: *snarls, gritting his teeth*
Jenna: *cocks he eyebrow* Two weeks? Hrmph.. Never had to be monitored that much while pregnant before. *Shrugging once more, she walks over to Seph* May I have my clothing back, Seph?
Dr Howlett: Every two weeks, or month intervals. It’s actually normal to do..
Sephiroth: *picks it up and begins to hand it to her* Shouldn’t have taken it off in the first place… *mumbles aloud, scowling* Completely unnecessary and a waste of time… *snorts* Here. *picks up her boots and hands them to her as well*
