Kalysto: Why would somebody think my ears are fake? Hell, why would somebody even wear fake ears? That just sounds ridiculous. *flicks them back* Nobody’s gonna be fooled by that, they’re pretty genuine looking. Who cares.. *grumbles* Let’s just land at this place and see what it’s like.
Desiree: Well, tell your dragon to land then. I can’t exactly do it from here.. I can barely see anything but your back. *she shrugs*
Kalysto: Can’t really tell it to land if I see nowhere TO land, huh? *glances over the side of the drake, his attention down on the waiting line on the top of the Round Square* Hey, there’s one of those mechanical car things. Wanna ride one somewhere?
Desiree: *blinks and glances over at the car. She then frowns in confusion* Riding that thing is… fun…? *She doesn’t seem to get it at all* Umm… I guess if you think it’s fun. Yea, I’ll try it. *glances over it and shrugs*
Kalysto: Riding inside of them can be fun, if it’s going somewhere important. Such as to another town, or a small village on another island. I don’t know where this one goes, but I am willing to find out. *makes the drake land, then hops off* Jump off and let him return to Netherspace. *smirks* Woman.
Desiree: *blinks and glances at the cable car again. She then mutters* If you say so.. *she then slides off the dragon. However, she soon yelps as she stumbles on the landing and tumbles into Kalysto* Damn..
Kalysto: *was busy looking around to get his bearings, at least until Desiree falls ontop of him, knocking him off his feet. He lands heavily on his side, hissing as his leg twists at a sharp angle from the rough trip to the ground* What’s wrong, never rode a dragon before…? Ugh…
Desiree: *stares wide-eyed at him as she realizes what she did. She then yelps and quickly jumps back to her feet* No, not really.. at all. *she quickly shakes her head then gives him a sheepish grin* Are you ok?
Kalysto: Am I going to be fine…? Of course I’m going to be fine. I just… *groans in discomfort as he moves to his feet again* Now I hurt, no thanks to you. *pokes his tongue out at her and dusts himself off, at least until he realizes he is not wearing clothes that he cares about* Still want to go on the Gondola? *glances at the signs* Oh, this thing doesn’t cost money does it?
Desiree: Why do you keep on asking me these things…? *pouts at him* How many times do I need to say.. I barely know this planet. I rarely went off Halcyon’s shores. And even then… I was on Earth then, another planet.
Kalysto: Oh whine, whine, whine. Would you like some cheese to go with that? *moves towards the cart and peers inside, then at the operator nearby* Oh, my bad. It is free. Come on. *motions for her to get inside, walking in himself*
Desiree: Huh? *tilts her head, clueless as to what sort of phrase he’s quoting. She then shrugs* I just was saying I know this planet as well as you do. *she then quickly moves to follow him. As she moves into the cable car, she gives the operator a passing glance, trying to make certain that he isn’t troubled by their appearance*
Kalysto: *sits down on the bench inside, tapping his thumbs on the wooden seat as he waits for the doors to close and the cart to get moving* You know, some people consider these things sexy. *grits his teeth as the car moves away with a bit more roughness than he expected* Not that, though…
Desiree: Umm… *glances around the cab, still confused* Doesn’t look sex- *yelps as the ride starts up then stumbles into Kalysto yet again*
Kalysto: *flinches as Desiree falls into him, grabbing her shoulders to stop her descent from going further* Damn it, are you the clumsiest woman alive or something? What is this, fall onto Kalysto day? *flicks his ears back, frowning at her* Sit next to me and shut up. Watch the fireworks or something. *glances into the distance* I kind of want to see what will happen if I piss out the window.
Desiree: *softly speaks* Sorry. *she slides out of his grip then moves to sit next to him. However, she rolls her eyes at his last statement* You are a complete and utter freak. I hope you know that. *She then gives him a small grin*
Kalysto: *yawns, shaking his head* Hey, at least you’re aware of the fact. *leans up against her and resumes looking out the window* It wouldn’t have been a waste of time. I don’t really need to go right now, but it would have been fun.
Desiree: *blinks and looks up at his face as he leans up against her. Soon enough, her grin widens as she rests her head on his shoulder* Well, seeing how I can’t even do such a thing, I guess that sort of fun will be left to you. *yawns*
Kalysto: *moves an arm around her shoulders, relaxing further* Phh, can’t be bothered. I am quite comfortable here, thanks. You should entertain yourself by looking at fireworks and shit instead. I can’t make fire burn that colour, even if I tried.
Desiree: *chuckles then glances up at him. After a moment, she leans up to kiss him* I have something much more interesting to look at. *gives him a lopsided grin* So… does your world have this sort of technology? You don’t really talk about it.
Kalysto: It has a big one of these things in the North. But you don’t sit on it for fun. *sighs quietly* No, I don’t talk about it much. It doesn’t hold much value or significance for me. *pauses* Why do you ask anyway?
Desiree: I just was curious. I mean.. doesn’t hurt for me to know more about you, right? *she shrugs and yawns once more, clearly getting tired*
Kalysto: *peers out the window, watching the world go by below. He furrows his brow in thought as he sits there quietly, pondering* Hey, Desiree. Um. Do you want to sleep here? There’s a hotel. It looks like a graveyard, but it was clearly a hotel – I saw people walking to it with bags. And luggage and shit. If I can get my imp to steal somebody’s wallet, then a room can be paid for.
Desiree: Mmm.. Yea, sleep would be good. *she nods* And I don’t mind if we pay for the room or not. Mother and father steal things all the time. Though father tends to be more guilt-ridden about such stuff.. *She shrugs* Not much though.
Kalysto: Hey, I tell my imp what to do, he’s the one who steals shit. And he likes doing it, so it’s none of my concern. Why should I deprive a companion of something it likes doing? *shrugs* You tell me, I really don’t know. *leans out the window, moving away from her* Hey, look. Somebody’s racing hawkstriders.
