Jenna: *finally reaches out to shake the man’s hand as a thank you once she’s finished with her conversation. As she does this, she gives him a light scratch to draw a bit of blood. However, she takes care to make the scratch quick and painless. With her spell sealed, she walks back over to Kalysto and frowns at him* ~I am certain that my daughter would not be pleased with that behavior.~
Kalysto: *looks up at her* *”Oh relax… not like I’m going to get married to any of these people any time soon. Or have sex with them. I’m just looking. And whapping. If I get kicked out, that’s my own bad.”* *shrugs* *”Desiree wouldn’t care anyway….”*
Jenna: *Shakes her head* ~Desiree is a lot like my mate, she would care.~ *she then sits down* ~I am done in here for now. Do you wish to relocate or do you want to drink more liquor?~
Kalysto: *”Let me sit for a bit, and let this work through.”* *stretches lazily* *”Desiree would care about me eyeballing other women? How funny… how am I supposed to know how good somebody is if I have nobody to compare them to?”* *sits up properly in his chair* *”Did you get what you wanted?”*
Jenna: ~I didn’t say I disapproved; however, Seph is quite.. possessive and old-fashioned. I cannot see Desiree as anything else but likewise. Though, she did have sex before she was thirty, so I suppose that is something.~ *Shrugs* ~And yes, I did what I needed to do for the immediate. It is only a first step though.~
Kalysto: *glances upwards, grinning* *”I think I was… about her age. When I got my first lay, I mean.”* *glances at his empty glass, then begins to idly run his finger around the rim-tip* *”So she’s going to have a cry at me if I do something she doesn’t approve of? Will have to make a note of that… I wouldn’t have guessed it, but I suppose I shall have to be be mindful of it.”*
Jenna: *shrugs* ~I know Sephiroth, and she was quite close to him while growing up. So, I would dare say she is a lot like him. However, she is also her own person.~ *releases a faint chuckle* ~Seph would have a heart attack if I ever gave a number to the amount of partners I’ve had. However, I cannot say I was young when I first had sex, but that was only because I had no availability of partners, so I had little choice.~
Kalysto: *”Doesn’t sound like that’d be any fun.”* **leans back in his chair, his ears lightly flicking around under his hoodie, attentive to the fact that people are moving around due to the fact he is unable to shake his wariness of humans* *”So what do you have to do now?”*
Jenna: ~Plant the seeds of superstitions: ghosts and whatnot. Humans are silly scared beasts that way.~ *softly chuckles* ~Then, I destroy their mine while they are destroying each other’s confidences with their own fears. Quite simple.~
Kalysto: *”Oh, right. More intricate than what I would have come up with. I woulda just gone in, said Hi, what’s up? And then torched everybody with pyroclastic blasts before destroying their mine.”* *smirks* *”Much less hassle.”*
Jenna: ~That would undoubtedly fail.~ *shakes her head* ~You see, that would just be a simple accident. Oh, something went wrong and people died; however this time will be fine. That sort of thing. Working against human nature on the other hand, making them superstitious and fearful, keeps them from wanting to come back. And it wouldn’t help to set up a few lingering spells to make certain they don’t forget their fears.~
Kalysto: *yawns at her comment, seeming unimpressed* *”And you really think that’ll work? Placing fear and terror into people’s minds… lame.”* *lazily stretches in the chair, then glances around the room* *”You have to make something blow up in order to have fun with that.”*
Jenna: ~You didn’t listen, first the fear, then the blowing up, followed by lingering fear. Combination of the two would produce the desired effect.~ *she watches him* ~So, are you ready, or do you want more to drink?~
Kalysto: *”I think I’m nearly ready.”* *slides out of his chair and stretches, scratching his side before wandering towards the men’s room* *”Keep observing them, they’re getting excited about something. They keep chattering in faster paces.”*
Jenna: ~I shall keep that in mind.~ *she sits down at the bar and sips on the water. She sighs as she glances at the liquor bottles on the wall, but keeps herself from partaking any liquor by patting her slightly bulging abdomen. She also continues to listen to the conversations around her*
Kalysto: *spends a few moments in there, then comes out again, heading for the door* *”Are you ready to go? I assume you are, seeing as though you asked me first. I am eager to see your sabotage architecture in motion.”*
Jenna: ~You won’t see much for a while yet.~ *stands up* ~However, yes, let us leave. There is no point in staying here.~ *with that, she moves out of the bar. However, she grits her teeth as she begins to shiver. Shaking her head, she trudges through the snow toward the nearest inn*
Kalysto: *is still tipsy, and doesn’t seem too worried about the cold. He just follows Jenna to the inn, watching her stance* *”So what was up with you and that ‘test’ before? That was a pretty shitty thing to do to somebody, if you don’t mind my saying so.”*
Jenna: ~Asking people questions of that nature usually comes with inconclusive or untruthful responses. In most cases, a person doesn’t even know their answer. However, forcing a person into a situation where their feelings must take over will prove what the extent those feelings are.~ *she opens the door to the inn* ~Sadly, Seph still doesn’t believe in you, so I must say that it was a waste.~
Kalysto: *”Yeah, he doesn’t like me.”* *steps inside, holding the door for her by standing in the way of it from closing once he’s in the doorway* *”I don’t know why that is. I didn’t even do shit to piss him off. Maybe he’s just like that all the time.”*
Jenna: ~He’s being an overprotective father. Desiree is his eldest daughter, and he’s coming to grips with the fact that she’s growing up.~ *shakes her head* ~He himself doesn’t know what he dislikes about you. I’ve asked him.~ *sighs* ~What are you willing to do to try to make things worth between him and you?~
Kalysto: *”I don’t really know. I thought maybe I’d start with taking him out somewhere for a drink. Maybe a friendly chat about interests… maybe take him fishing. I don’t think he’s into any of that, though. He just seems like the cold businessy type with a stick permanently lodged up his ass.”*
Jenna: *Smirks* ~Well, that is mostly accurate.~ *she moves over to the clerk then softly speaks a few choice celtic words to him before the man begins to stagger before just collapsing on the ground from a heart attack. She then helps herself to the keys with a flick of her wrist before heading off to where the rooms are located*
Kalysto: *glances over the man, then back at Jenna* That wasn’t any language I know… *follows her, grinning* *”Yeah, definitely accurate with the comment on the stick… he’d better be careful when he bends over, that it doesn’t fly out of his ass and hit somebody.”*
Jenna: It was a dead language. No one speaks it anymore on Earth, let alone your planet that probably never even had it. *She glances at the keys numbers for a moment* And you are not fully right aboug my mate. Also, do remember: he is indeed my mate. *she finally located the door that the key matches then opens it up*
