Desiree: ~Eh, maybe, but the previous owner died, right? So… why not just pretend that we were always here and see what happens.~ *Shrugs* ~It’s worth a shot.~ *She then frowns at Droozun. So, she steps up to him and shakes her head* No. You puppy is unharmed. Leave Lezprah alone.
Droozun: *raises his head and begins angrily barking at Desiree. The puppies, however, swarm her feet and begin to lick her ankles, one of them even experimentally nibbling one of her toes*
Kalysto: *”Your father won’t buy that. See if the house has no owner and offer to buy it.”*
Desiree: ~But, I don’t have any money. Anyway, look at all the blood. The guy clearly got killed.~ *She glances down at the puppies then kneels down to pat the top of the injured one’s head*
Lezprah: *grunts at Droozun and tries to mimic his barking sounds. He then shakes his head* ~I do as asked and bring here. No hurt you kin.~ *yawns then moves to lie in some sun*
Droozun: *angrily barks at Lezprah again* *”NO!”* *grunts, suddenly quiet. He patters away again, heading back into the other room, leaving Desiree with the spawn. They continue to swarm around Desiree, then sit down around her feet*
Kalysto: *”They’re not going to just give you a house, Desiree. Tell them you want to buy it. And then let me buy it, I can work out something.”*
Desiree: *sighs* ~Alright, alright. Fine… Who do I tell, though? I don’t have a clue on how to do this sort of thing..~ *she looks over at the felhunter pups then shakes her head* I don’t know why you guys want me over your umm… daddy? *Shrugs* Go back to Droozun. *she then walks to a smear of blood so that she can try to clean it up*
Kalysto: *”Talk to your father. He probably knows how to get ahold of the title deeds to this house. Ask him how to acquire it otherwise. If he doesn’t get pissed, that’s a good sign. Don’t worry about him too much. Tell him I can put up the funds and take out a loan for the house. I know just what to do in order to make money around here…”*
Desiree: ~Kalysto.. You do know that my father would pop a gasket if I told him that I was moving out with you..~ *sighs and shakes her head* ~But if you really insist…~ *she tries to contact Sephiroth* ~Father, I want to talk to you. It’s very important.~
Kalysto: *”Well… tell him I’m buying the house and don’t mention anything about you?”* *sighs* *”He’s not a dumbass though.”* *crouches down to pick up Milena* *”He’ll put two and two together really quickly.”*
Sephiroth: *”What is it, Desiree? I have some time before these idiots get moving, so speak away.”*
Desiree: *grumbles under her breath for a moment as she considers over her options. She then sighs and starts talking to Sephiroth* ~Father, I found an abandoned house. Kalysto is interested in buying it. Will you please help him find the right.. umm… procedure needed to buy the rights to this place?~
Sephiroth: *”Why does he want to buy a house in Mideel?”* *grunts* MOVE IT. We are wasting time here! *claps his hands, trying to hurry them up* *”I don’t even know how long I plan to be here. There are other places I’d rather be.”* *sighs in irritation* *”Tell him to get enough money to put down a house deposit and I can have Shinra arrange the documents.”*
Desiree: ~Thank you, Father.~ *she sighs then frowns* ~Ok, Father says that if you get enough money to make a down-payment, he’ll help get the paperwork… Where the hell are you going to get the money?~ *Shakes her head*
Kalysto: *”I’m going to work my ass off and start selling shit.”* *carries Milena into the house and sets her on the ground* I personally wouldn’t move in here with no furniture. But give me a week. I’ll get some money together to do something useful. *nods his head*
Desiree: *nods at Kalysto* Ok, I trust you. I just don’t know how crazy your thoughts are at the moment.. But I trust you. *grins at him then continues to look around* Well.. there is already furniture.
Kalysto: Not very much… *glances back into one of the side rooms* Just shit in here. Boxes of it. *sighs* You wanna keep some dude’s old furniture? I’d personally move that bed we had in, because it was comfortable.
Desiree: If Father will let us have it, I’m certain that would work. *She nods then grins* At least we’ll be able to have sex and stuff without my father and siblings commenting.. Strange that my mother never said a word though. *shrugs*
Kalysto: Maybe she approves of our screwing for some reason? Who knows. Who cares? *smirks* As long as I’m not getting my ears ripped off, I’m happy. *chuckles and takes a seat in one of the chairs nearby. He takes the cloth diapers out of his pocket that he had stolen before, and resumes working on them* Watch the girl. If she makes any kind of movement, take her outside. Or set her down on the toilet or something. I don’t want to clean shit off the floor.
Desiree: *glances at the felhunter pups then coughs* I think you’ll wind up doing that anyway… *shakes her head. She then returns to cleaning the blood stains off the walls* Umm.. you did want to stay in this town, right?
Kalysto: *blinks at her* If I honestly had my way, I’d take you back to the desert sands of Durotar and live in Sen’jin village with Zulmire and his wife. But we both know that’s not going to happen is it? *shakes his head* We stay here.
Desiree: *Frowns* No… I don’t think so. Even if I was able to dig out that point where you came through at… I was rather unsuccessful at making a connection to your homeworld. *sighs* Maybe mother can help? She’s an interdimensional traveler. I mean, this here, *she points at the earth* Isn’t even my home dimension.
Kalysto: At the very least I’d send Zulmire back to his wife. Without my bastard offspring to keep him occupied, he’s probably very miserable on that island all by himself now. *glances down at the floor, then back up at her* Where did you live before? *shakes the diaper cloth out, then begins to hem up the tail hole so it won’t fray*
Desiree: Earth. I thought I’ve told you that before. *shakes her head* It doesn’t matter, though. Earth was mother’s home planet. When I was about ten or so, Mother and Father got tired of her being in danger from some cosmic demon thing or something.. So, they moved the entire island from Earth to his home planet.
Kalysto: Huh. Weirdest shit I ever heard. *finishes up the hem on the first diaper and flicks it near Desiree’s feet* Go get a liner and a cover for that and away you go. *hears growling and scraping in the next room* Droozun, if that’s you trying to dig a hole in the floorboards, I swear I’m gonna send you back to the fucking Nether and you won’t be near your spawn.
Desiree: *Stares at the diaper and looks over it* Cover and liner… right… *gets up and tries to follow through with Kalysto’s directions*
Lezprah: *looks up toward the direction where the scratching is coming from. He then releases a displeased rumble before yawning and returning to sunbathing*
Droozun: *trots out of the room again, snarling. He walks out of the house and begins sniffing for another spot to dig*
Kalysto: *sighs and leans back in the chair* *”Did your old man say how much the house will cost, on approximation? I don’t mind buying a house but I don’t want to be stuck paying it off for 40 years to come. I doubt I’d even live that long.”*
