Jenna: ~I am not quite certain how that logic works, or if that is even logic at all… However, I am not going to argue with you there.~ *sighs* ~Right now, though, I would really like to just get some rest.~
Desiree: *looks about then frowns* ~Umm… Chocobo races? I guess I picked the wrong path.~ *She shrugs then heads further inside the square where she is in, wanting to check it out since she is here anyway.~
Kalysto: *”Chocobo races? Why would you want to go race them? They run fast, I’m sure. But they’re not very intelligent.”*
Sephiroth: *”You’re not going to get very much rest with the noise levels from down here. I hope you realize that because Cancer doesn’t seem to be giving up on what’s happened to the television. Just my luck that it should break now…”* *sighs and picks up his paper, walking into another room so he could read it there instead*
Desiree: ~I didn’t say I wanted to race them. I just didn’t know where I was going. You asked where I was though. This is it.~ *She sighs and shakes her head*
Jenna: ~Seph, I silenced the noise from the speakers with a spell. The television isn’t broken. She wanted to blare it. If she chooses to put it at a reasonable volume, the noise will probably return.~
Sephiroth: *”It isn’t. Does that mean she is not going to do it?”* *sighs and slowly shakes his head in dissapointment* *”She’s going to have a tantrum soon. End the suffering by telling her how to make it work again. Please.”* *shakes the paper and begins to read through the jewellery adverts*
Kalysto: *”Yeah, OK. You’re there. But why there specifically? You don’t seem like the type who wants to play games or mess around with stupid stuff like that. You don’t even seem like the type to gamble.”*
Jenna: *groans and contacts Cancer* ~Listen girl, just turn down the volume of the television. If you do that, the spell will cancel out and let you hear what’s on it. As it is, I want some sleep. I am not feeling well. OK?~
Desiree: ~Didn’t I say that I didn’t know where I was going? The labeling for this place is confusing. Ok? But I’m here now, so I’m just looking around.~
Cancer: *”Why should I? I want to watch the TV. Took me long enough to get the TV guide from Oldiroth over there in the first place you know. Why should I have to suffer because you guys want what you want? I’m not asking you if I can watch the TV, I’m telling you.”*
Kalysto: *”Do you want me to come there, or do you want to leave and find somewhere to eat breakfast? I can get my imp to steal money. He didn’t get to before. And I blew him up, so be grateful for that.”*
Jenna: ~Cancer, you can watch television. However, do not blare the noise.~ *She send the girl a telepathic transmission of what she’s feeling at the moment* ~Would you not appreciate someone respecting noise levels if you felt this way?~
Desiree: ~I’m not so certain they serve food at all around here. I looked. I thought Chocobo meant they served chocobo as food.. But this is just a bunch of races.~ *Tilts her head as she spots some feathers in the very back. She then heads over to the stable area to look at the birds* ~You may come here if you want. It’s all up to you.~
Cancer: *”Yes. Sorry mother. Just make sure I can blare the volume as loud as I want later, OK? I like having it up loud.”* *sighs and tries to adjust the volume again* *”Hey now that the base is blown up, does that mean it killed the teachers?”*
Kalysto: *grumbles to himself and jumps down the pipe, tumbling out the bottom of the Chocobo Square* Ugh… *gets to his feet and dusts himself off, walking off towards Desiree* *”Do you want to stay here? It smells.”*
Jenna: ~No, it doesn’t mean that. And no, you can’t blare the volume like that. If you want, we can try to get you a part-time job and you can buy your own television for you room. Then I’ll sound-proof your room so you can blare it just for yourself. And your teachers are not dead. They lived on Earth, not on Halcyon.~
Desiree: *reaches out to touch a feather of one of the Chocobos, curious. She then glances at his hair and chuckles* Your spikes look like these feathers.
Cancer: *”So does that mean no more schooling for me?”* *is quiet* *”Job? What?”*
Kalysto: *folds his arms, trying to give her a strong impression that he is unimpressed, though he is really fooling around* I am not a feathered angry fake hawkstrider. That is a lie and you know it. *attempts to poke her arm*
Jenna: ~I’m certain we can find some part-time job around this town that you can pick up. Do a few tasks. Get currency. Get yourself your own television that you control.~ *Yawns*
Desiree: *yelps as she’s poked. Which in turn makes the chocobo startle. Thus, the giant bird release a loud wark before starting to rapidly run in circles*
Kalysto: Oh wow. *stares at the bird running in circles and shakes his head* They’re retarded, aren’t they? Why would you even run something like that around? Doesn’t make sense. *raises an eyebrow* And you want to hang around here with them?
Cancer: *”Cant I just ask you to do it? Why do I have to do something stupid like that?”*
Desiree: Why do you keep on asking that sort of question? *Shakes her head* I was simply curious. I’ve never seen one up-close. Father only told me stories about them. Shown me pictures and stuff. *She shrugs* It’s not like I want to spend the entire day here.. *glances back at him* Sorry about earlier..
Jenna: ~No. You’re old enough now that you will need to start getting your own things on your own.~
Cancer: *”Can’t I just get you to get it for me? Please? If I ask you nicely…”*
Kalysto: Yeah, what? Huh. I don’t know what that shit was about before. Calling me father during intercourse, huh? Normally people cry out to their god, or to their partner. Or in some cases… their old partners…
Jenna: ~No, girl. You are old enough that you need to start depending on yourself for things. Seph and I can’t give you everything forever.~ *contacts Sephiroth* ~I’m telling Cancer to find a job, my love. Perhaps you should give her the listings or whatever it is.~
Desiree: *lowers her head and deeply blushes in shame* Yea… I guess.. *she digs her right toe into the ground* I… I love.. loved.. I’m not certain anymore. But I wanted my father like that, yes..
Sephiroth: *”She wants a job? Didn’t I just get one so I could pay for things around here? Isn’t that just a little bit redundant, don’t you think?”* *sighs and shakes his head* *”I’ll talk to her, but I don’t think it will go over terribly well.”* *flips through the paper, tearing out the job classifieds before standing up, walking out to where Cancer is and tossing it down in front of her* You can read this part too.
Kalysto: *stares at her* You want to fuck your father? Why? *smirks* I’ve teased my brother about wanting to fuck him in the ass, but that’s just to mess with his head.
Jenna: ~She wants a television for her own room. I told her that she would need to buy that on her own since she’s old enough that we shouldn’t get her everything. Do you not agree there?~ *yawns and tries to snuggle up against her pillow*
Desiree: Yea, that’s what I’m saying. *Sighs and looks at Kalysto* But.. I really like and love you too. *grins at him* I’m glad that I have you.
Kalysto: *backs up slightly* Hey now wait a moment… *blinks at her* You love me? Isn’t that a little too soon? You haven’t even known me that long. I can understand the like part – everybody likes me, I’m great. But love? Are you sure?
Sephiroth: *”I could agree with that, yes. I don’t want the children to be reliant on us forever.”*
Desiree: *Shrugs* Yea, I do. Haven’t I told you that before? *looks into his eyes* I can’t tell you the whys. I think, stuff like this is nonsensical. But, I’m certain. *She nods*
Jenna: ~That’s why I’m telling her to get her own television.. I really want to sleep now though, Seph. So, I shall make this my last conscious thought to you for now.~
Sephiroth: *”Understood.”* *watches Cancer with the paper then returns to the kitchen so he can ponder what to prepare for the evening meal. He looks in the cupboards and finds no food at all, then moves to leave the house so he can buy groceries*
Kalysto: I think it’s stupid. You shouldn’t love me, let alone even like me. I’m no good.
Desiree: *loves up to Kalysto then shakes her head* Now, that one there is a lie. If you were no good, you wouldn’t have tried to get me back from Jenova, would you have? *she reaches up to straighten a stray hair back into place in his bangs* You wouldn’t still be here.
Kalysto: *stares at her, a little weirded out by the whole thing* You don’t know that. You don’t really know the true reason for my motivations. So you can’t say that for sure. **stays still while she moves up against him, doing not much of anything* I personally find you really weird, you know. I can get a few things, but calling my your father during, um…. yeah. *flicks his ears back* Weird.
Desiree: No, I can’t say that for sure. But I can believe that and put faith that I am right. *she nods then frowns* I said I’m sorry about that. *She shakes her head* I’ll try to make certain that doesn’t happen again.
Kalysto: Yeah, please do, because it was weird as hell. I’m not your father, and I’m not going to fullfill some weird sexual fantasy about you and him either. *tries to nudge her away at the thought of it* So if you’re just here because you went to the wrong spot, let’s leave already.
