Jenna: *tilts her head as she sees all the feathers strewn around the lab and in the hands of the lab technicians and deeply scowls. She snorts in disgust at the hints of what was done to the boy during the day and just moves forward toward Sephy’s cell, not caring if anyone notices her. She passes by Hojo while she’s heading to Sephiroth’s location*
Hojo: *growls at Jenna as she passes by, and grabs her shoulder* What are you doing here now? Exactly how long does an inspection take?
Jenna: *softly hisses as Hojo touches her and snaps her head in his direction to glare at him. She quickly tries to jerk her shoulder out of his grip* The inspection will take as long as necessary, sir. It can be anywhere from a few days til a few months. Do not worry, I am not going to interfere with your schedule at all. *narrows her eyes slightly* Now, tell me, what is with all the feathers in the lab today? Was there a bird who got loose?
Hojo: No, not something so frivolous ad a bird. Do not clean up the feathers, one of the lab assistants is going to pick them all up shortly and catagorize them in air tight sealed bags. A most extraordinary thing happened today. *quickly scurries away to retrieve polaroid photos from his office to show to Jenna, running back to her with them* The boy has begun his first transitionary evolution at the age of six. Its quite amazing. We took samples of the new growths and cared for them, so they will grow back.
Jenna: *hisses and narrows her eyes at Hojo. The fire-like quality of her eyes blaze a bit and may be noticible from under her bangs* Exactly, how many of those feathers did you take off from the boy, sir? *does her best to contain her anger, but she tightens her fists and grits her teeth a bit*
Hojo: Nearly all of them. But do not worry, they will grow back. He still has a fine layer of downy feathers on the wing. And the wing has been washed down with saline, treated, and then bandaged so that it will not become infected. I am confident that the plumage will grow back fairly quickly. If he can grow a wing over night, then surely he can sprout a new coat of feathers in a few hours. Wouldn’t you agree?
Jenna: If the wing were to stay longer than a day, I’d say that is the case. *continues to scowl at Hojo, throughly disgusted at the man* But, I highly doubt the boy was to have another day to enjoy that wing. *shakes her head, her bangs move away from her eyes at the action, giving Hojo a clear view of them. However, she doesn’t linger infornt of him and quickly storms toward Seph’s cell, intending to take him out of the lab*
Hojo: *growls at Jenna* Where are you going? *sharply* Get back here right now, woman! The boy is sleeping, you can’t go in there!
Jenna: *snorts at Hojo and continues heading toward Seph’s pen. She casts the same spell that she had been using to walk through the glass and simply enters* Sephiroth? *moves over to the boy* Come now. We’re leaving.
Sephiroth: *lifts his head and glances up at her* What…? Where are we going?
Hojo: *snarls and runs over to the cell, unlocking the door so he can get in, seeming more concerned about the fact she is near the child rather than the fact she just walked through the glass* Get out here NOW. You are not allowed to just walk into the boy’s cell! It’s not even part of your inspection area!
Jenna: *glances over at Hojo* No. Now, get out of my way. *narrows her eyes, concentrating. Soon afterwards, Hojo would feel as if his air passageways were blocking up and as if he were having an alergic reaction to something in the air. Jenna reaches over and tries to get Sephiroth to stand* Come now, boy. We’re leaving this place.
Sephiroth: We’re leaving…? Where are we going?
Hojo: *loudly coughs and gasps for air, wondering what the hell is happening to him. He gasps for air and coughs, sinking to his knees* What the hell..?! *sinks to the floor and gasps*
Jenna: Out of here. *continues to drag Seph along with her. She glances back at Hojo then casts another spell to remove the clothing she had stolen from the one assistant and dump it on him, revealing her normal armor underneath, sans cape* I’ll take you someplace where you can be taken care of by someone who actually cares.
*the spell on Hojo would only last five minutes, so he’d probably recover by the time Jenna reaches the elevator*
Hojo: *growls and tries to yell out to her, but he is still gasping for breath*
Sephiroth: *whimpers slightly* Where are we going to go?
Jenna: I already told you. I’m taking you out of here. *steps into the elevator once it arrives and quickly puls Seph in with her before clicking on the number for the bottomost floor that this one goes to* I”ll find somewhere in the city that will take better care for you or something. I don’t know. As long as you’re no longer here.
Sephiroth: I know we’re going out of here… but where are we going to? As in, our end destination? *frowns as he steps into the elevator and stares at the outside through the glass, having never seen it before* I knew we were high up, but… that’s a long way down.
Jenna: Here’s a secret, boy. Sometimes, you do not know where your end destination is. Sometimes, you just go along with the flow.. *looks around, trying to check for signs of heightened security*
Sephiroth: I see… well I hope we go somewhere safe… *stays very close to Jenna, not wanting to be caught* I’m just happy to get out.
Jenna: I’ll do my best to take you somewhere safe. I don’t want you living up with that maniac scientist. I don’t care what type of fate you’re supposed to have. *continues to carefully look around, watching for signs of danger. She also carefully watches the floor counter on the elevator, wanting to make certain that it does not stop or start slowing down prematurely* For now, I just need to get you out of this building..
Sephiroth: I hope you know what you’re doing, because I’ve never been down here before. *frowns* I can’t tell you how to get out…
Jenna: *looks down at Seph and shakes her head* Do not worry. I know how to get out of here. That is not the problem. *looks up at the numbers again* The problem is this place is crawling with guards and security systems..
Sephiroth: *frowns* I hate the guards. Can’t you just stab them with those needles that make you go to sleep?
Jenna: *looks down at Sephy-wephy* Does it look like I have needles on me? *shakes her head. She sighs in relief as the elevator stops at the lowest level possible for the upper set of elevators. She takes Seph’s hand and rushes through the current level to get to the stairs* Now, come. We have to move down a few levels before we can get to the elevator that will take us all of the way down.
Sephiroth: How many more levels? *whimpers* I just want to get out of her as quickly as possible, I never liked this place one bit.
