Jenna: *cocks her eyebrow as she notices the size of the pants then moves to hand them back over to Seph* Perhaps, you should attempt placing this on before we purchase them, hm? It may be fun. *she nudges him toward the dressing room*
Sephiroth: *fidgets with his current clothes, then moves into the dressing room to change. He steps out again after a moment, glancing down at his new clothes* These feel a little loose, but I like them. Are we going to take them with us wherever we go?
Jenna: *nods at Sephiroth* Yes, you can wear them wherever it is that we find to hide you from Shin-Ra. *moves over to the attendant and pays him before walking back over to Seph* Now, shall we get going? Perhaps we should try the town not too far away from here. I believe it’s name is Kalm.
Seph: Is it very far away? We should get moving if we don’t want to be caught by the Shinra… I don’t want to go back there ever again if I can help it. They were mean to me and hurt me a lot…
Jenna: In comparison to other places where I can take you, no, it’s not that far away. *She shakes her head and reaches down to take Sephy’s hand* But you’re right. Let’s get moving. Are you ready?
Sephiroth: *slowly nods his head* I’m always ready to leave. Are you going to do that moving instantly from one place to another again? *frowns* I really don’t like it. But I’ll do it if it means going really far away.
Jenna: *shakes her head* Not at the moment, boy. We’re going to try to get there by foot if we can. *begins pulling him forward, toward the way out of the city* Now come, let’s get moving.
Sephiroth: We’re going to walk? *frowns, not at all liking the idea* How far away is it…? I don’t want to get tired out and have my legs hurt. What if we get spotted walking along the ground? Can’t you get one of those transport vehicles that people always have?
Jenna: Yes, for now we are going to walk. If we don’t get far in after a bit, I’ll teleport us again. Ok? *glances up at a chruch as she passes by it and tilts her head* I didn’t know that there was much of a religion on this planet..
Sephiroth: Why do we have to walk anyway…? Can’t we just teleport there in the first place? *looks rather miserable* I hate walking… *glances at the church also* I don’t know what that is about. I never ever went to church. Looks old and worn down…
Jenna: We are walking because that is what I want to do. What does it matter what the resons are. *shakes her head* And I am not surprised in the least that you have never gone to a church. You’ve never left the laboratory afterall prior to today, so why should you go to a church. *mutters* Anyway, Hojo is far from a religous man. *finally stops infront of the door that leads out of the city and looks around for a panel to override*
Sephiroth: *walks alongside Jenna, talking to himself. He stops alongside her and glances up also* I don’t think Hojo is religious. I mean, he talked to me about the cycle of the Lifestream, but not much beyond that. What are you looking for? All I see is a giant glass wall.
Jenna: *softly speaks, mostly to herself and not really putting the effort to answer Seph* There is a door, I can see it. So, there must be a way to open it. *finally spots an access panel and walks over to it. Soon afterwards, she rips it open and begins rewiring it until the exit out of the city opens* There.
Sephiroth: *peers out the opened door and cautiously moves out of the city* Wow, it’s huge out here… *glances out towards the horizon* I don’t see too much except hills and mountains. I’m glad you know where you’re going, because I’d be hopelessly lost…
Jenna: *points toward the East* We will be moving in the oposite direction as the setting sun. With time, we’ll hit the town that I mentioned before. Now let’s get moving. There’s no point in standing around here longer than we have to. *gently tugs Sephiroth and begins walking toward Kalm.*
Unbeknownst to Jenna, she had failed to override the security system on the door and thus a camera would have taken very clear images of her and Sephiroth. The images would be sent nearly directly to Hojo.
Sephiroth: *holds onto Jenna’s hand as she leads him away from the city. He seems much happier to be walking at a slow calm pace, and curiously glances around at the scenery they pass, having never been outside the city before, let alone into the wilderness beyond it. He seems genuinely startled as a moth flutters past him and moves closer to Jenna, calming down as he realizes that it’s not going to do anything*
Hojo: *has busied himself with reading over reports from previous times. He watches the monitors regularly as he reads, snarling as he sees the ‘lab assistant’ woman lead his son away. He grabs up a phone and calls the army to go hunt them down*
Jenna: *sighs as she notices Seph’s fear and quickly shakes her head* Be still, young one. It is only a small bug. The worst it can do to you is land on your hair and damage a strand or two. *looks up at the sky and sighs* Good thing we still have several hours of light.. but this midday sun is quite harsh..
Sephiroth: *glances up at the sky also* It’s not that bad. Well, I like it anyway… *frowns and glances behind them* Are you sure we’re not going to get spotted? We’re out in the open…
Jenna: I highly doubt we’ll be spotted. Shin-Ra is undoubtly still looking for you within the city, so they wouldn’t even bother to turn their eyes outward. Also, anyone else who spots us will not know what importance you may have to this planet or Shin-Ra. *shakes her head* Anyway, it’s worth the risk.
Sephiroth: I hope you’re right… I really don’t want to go back…
*there is a faint droning noise overhead, and then a helicopter soars over their heads. It slows down and moves back towards them, but it just hangs there in the sky for the time being*
Jenna: Do not worry, boy. I won’t let you go back so soon. *she looks up as she spots the helicopter then deeply scowls* Shit.. Well, time for a change in plans. *snorts in irritation before casting a spell to make the rear rotor of the helicopter melt before it explodes. Once that was done, she bends down to pick up Sephiroth and lifts him up into her arms* Try not to get too disoriented, Seph. *the sorceress pats the boy’s back for a moment before casting a spell to teleport them to the outskirts of Kalm*
Sephiroth: *stares up at the sky as the helicopter suddenly stops working, looking rather afraid as he watches the engines explode and debris from the exploded helicopter begin to fall out of the sky* I won’t… *yelps as he is suddenly teleported to the new town, confused. He soon calms however, and is relieved that burning debris will not be falling down on him*
Jenna: *Deeply sighs in relief as she reappears in the outskirts of Kalm and gently set Seph down* Hopefully that will keep them off our backs for the rest of the evening. I’d like to get a good night’s sleep. *looks around before leading Seph over to the inn* Come, let’s get a room to stay in.
Sephiroth: Why are they following us..? We got away fair and square, I just want them to leave me alone… I never did anything to them. *sighs and slowly nods* How do you know they won’t find us at the inn? I’d be afraid they’d come in the middle of the night and grab me…
