Zack: *slowly shakes his head at Hal* Still, if he doesnt come back soon, I’m going out there after him. It shouldn’t take too long for me to calm him down and bring him back in here. *playfully grins* Afterall, Sephy’s not all that bad of a guy. Sure, he has his quirks and rough edges, but who doesn’t? *sighs then looks toward the door. He drums his fingers against the table while he waits for Sephers to return*
Hal: Calm him down? He didn’t look pissed off or upset. *shrugs* Just leave him, he’ll come back whenever. *mumbles* All I know is, I want my goddamned food.
Sephiroth: *remains outside and idly watches the setting sun on the horizon. He keeps his head down for the time being, seeming considerably calmer now that the voice in his head has stopped talking*
Zack: *chuckles at Hal* Hey, just be patient. You don’t want to eat undercooked food, now do you? It’ll be done soon enough. *frowns as he glances at his watch then stands up* I’ll be right back, Hal. Don’t worry, I’m just going to pull Sephy back in here. *strolls out of the restraunt. Soon spotting Sephers, he rushes over to his side then sets his right hand on Sephy’s left shoulder* Hey, come on. Let’s go back inside. The food will be ready soon.
Sephiroth: *scowls as he looks up at Zack and slowly nods his head, heading back towards the restaurant* Right. You better be right though. I hate waiting around. *snorts* Do you know how much longer it will be? *pushes open the door to the restaurant and walks back to the table* After this I desire to go back to the dorm and sleep.
Zack: It can’t be that much longer, Sephy. Either way, Hal will complain to the waitress to the moment that she brings the food out to us. I’m certain it’ll be out in fifteen minutes tops though. *Shrugs* But I’m no food expert. *looks at Sephy’s face, noting his tiredness* And sure, we can return to the dorms. You look really down and out of energy. Are you coming down with something? *reaches over to touch Sephy’s forehead, wanting to check his temperature*
Sephiroth: *growls and jerks his head away as soon as Zack touches it* I am fine. I just have a headache, that is all. I can’t tell you what caused it for I do not even know myself. *slowly shakes his head* You both can do what you like after this meal, but I am definitely going back to my room for sleep.
Zack: Hey, calm down. I already said that I have no problems going back to the dorms if you’re feeling unwell. There’s no point partying all night if a friend is suffering in pain. *shakes his head* Though, I can’t speak for Red over here. *points to Hal* What are you going to do after dinner?
Hal: I’m going to cruise down the main strip here and check out the clubs. I don’t know if I’ll be able to get in but it’s always worth a shot. What do you say to that, Zack? We can dump Seph off at the dorm and go cruising for chicks. *glances back to the caped woman at the bar, wondering if she’s still staring at them*
Sephiroth: *loudly snorts* I can take myself back thank you. I am not an invalid.
*the waitress carries three plates of piping hot food out to the boy’s table, setting their meals down in front of them*
Zack: *shakes his head at Hal* Nah, man, you can go out all on your own. I think I’m down with Sephy’s idea of sleeping after we eat. Anyway, I bet I’ll be so stuffed after this dinner that I won’t want to think of anything but sleep. *reaches over to grab a slice of bread then stuffs it into his mouth. Soon afterwards, he swallows so that he can respond to Sephiroth* I didn’t say that I was going to escort you back. *shakes his head* I just said I wanted to accompany you and not leave you all alone.
Sephiroth: *grumbles to himself and picks up a knife and fork so he can start cutting up his steak* I still don’t need to be escorted and followed back… if you want to go back of your own accord then that’s fine, but I don’t want you to follow just because of me.
Hal: I think I will, then. But it’ll be less fun without you. Ah well. *shrugs and stuffs fries into his mouth* More chicks for me then.
Zack: *licks his lips as his food is set down infront of him and immediately picks up his fork and knife so that he can show down. First, he choses to attack the swordfish steak, not wanting to get crab juices on it. Stuffing a huge slice of the fish into his mouth, he begins to respond back to Sephiroth* ‘Ey, thour nawt- *swallows and coughs before continuing on* -listening. I said I’m coming back to you because I want to. I also think that sleep will be a good idea. So, stop being so “me, me, me”. *jabs his fork into another large slab of the fish steak* And I’m certain those are called chips and not chicks, Red. *broadly grins before he stuffs the meat into his mouth*
Hal: Oh shut up. They’re bits of fried potato if you want to get pedantic about it. *pokes his tongue out at Zack* And holy cow there, slow down, man! You’re either going to choke, get the hiccups, or barf it back up because you’re eating so fast. *begins picking at his serving of battered deep-fried fish with his hands, ripping a chunk off to pop into his mouth* Urrf!! *chews quickly and swallows* It’s dang hot!
Sephiroth: *scowls at Zack* Fine, do as you please. It doesn’t change my plans. *silently eats his meal, his mood soured due to the fact he has a throbbing headache*
Zack: Ok, Sephy, I’ll not worry about your plans. And, come on, Red. I’m not eating all that fast. Look at you, you’re like a third of the way done with your plate. I’ve only taken two bites. *stabs another slab of fish steak an d places it in his mouth. He allows himself a few minutes in chewing the chunk, savoring the flavor, before he swallows* See, I at least give myself enough time to chew. *continues eating his food and finally finishes off the fish after another five minutes*
Hal: Phh, I’m not eating it that fast. It’s not a very big portion of fried fish, next time I’ll have to order a larger helping of the stuff. *picks up some more fries and dips them in tartare sauce before he eats them* Mmmm, good.
Sephiroth: *just quietly finishes off his food, leaving behind a small amount of the mashed potatoes. He takes a sip of his water and glances towards the door, considering getting up to leave now*
Zack: *Finishes up the last of his fish and licks his lips* Fine, fine. I’ll let you off the hook for now, Red. *grins* But don’t do it again. *winks before noticing the way that Sephy is behaving* Hey, Sephy? Are you really feeling that bad? If you are, go ahead back to the dorms. We can meet up with you later. *reaches down to grab a crab leg and quickly breaks it open so that he can get to the meat*
Sephiroth: *slowly nods his head and slides out of his chair, heading for the door without saying a word. He slowly walks back the way he came and walks all the way back to his dormitory, locking the bathroom door so he can have a cool shower in the peace and quiet. By the time Zack and Hal return, Sephy would be fast asleep in his bunk*
Hal: Yeah, and the next time if I order something big, I’ll probably be the next one paying the tab, huh? *chuckles and finishes his meal, watching Sephiroth leave*
Zack: What do you mean about next time? I only offered to pay for Sephy, there. You are paying for your own plate. *sucks the meat out of another segment of the crab leg that he’s working on* I have some money, but I’m not made of money, Red. *shakes his head*
Hal: Huh? *glances at Zack for a moment, then nods* Oh yeah, right. I get you now. *picks at the last few bits on his plate, then glances back at the waitress, wanting his tab* I guess I won’t be paying the tab next time then anyway.
Zack: *glances back at the waitress* Just split the tab, miss. Keep his seperate and I’ll pay for the rest. Thank you. *resturns to munching on his crab legs* Hey, I’d cover your part of the bill too, but I don’t have the money at the moment, Hal. Sorry, but that is just how things are. *shrugs*
Hal: Eh, I don’t really mind. *glances up at the waitress and takes his bill from her, placing some coins onto the table and a few more for the tip* Thanks very much, madam. *gets out of his chair* I’ll meet you back at the dorm. * heads out of the restaurant*
Zack: *nods at Hal as he finishes off his food.* Ok, have fun at the club. *waves at Hal. Soon afterwards, he eats the last scraps of his crab then lays down the money for his bit of the bill. Once that is all done, he strolls back down to the dorms, taking his time so that he can check out all the things on the street on the way back. After about twenty minutes of walking, he walks back into his dorm room then releases a loud yawn* Well, that was a good day.. *surveys the room, searching for Sephers*
Sephiroth: *is already fast asleep, and quite curled up, partially leaning up against the the back wall that is right next to his bed. He makes no noise, but seems to be in an uncomfortable position at the moment*
Zack: *tilts his head as he examines Sephiroth* Man, that’s one strange way to sleep.. *shrugs to himself then creeps over to his roommate’s bed. He slowly reaches over so that he can touch Seph’s shoulder then shakes it* Hey, are you ok? You look really uncomfortable there. *gives Sephy a small grin, hoping that will wane the upcoming wave of anger that Zack knows is coming his way*
Sephiroth: *groans as he’s stirred awake, the noise slowly turning into a growl. He shifts about in his bed and slowly sits up, forcing his eyes open, looking over at Zack, bleary eyed* What the hell do you want….? *groans and looks around* What time is it?
