Sephiroth: They are nice… They also add a nice amount of colour to everything out here. It’s a nice change from looking at the inside of the lab all day… *puts his head down on the table again* I still can’t believe you managed to talk my lab techs into letting me out here.. what did I ever do to deserve it..? I argue, I bite people, and I disagree with everything they do to me. So how did you convince them to let me out?
Noemi: How many times do I have to tell you. It was Kerash who spoke to your team and the company, not me. *Shakes her head* You must have a ton of wax in your ears. *sighs then grins at a thought* Stay here, I’ll be right back. *jogs over to one of the nearby assistants who are watchign them and speaks to him for a moment. Soon afterwards she returns with a small bowl of ice cream. She sets it down inbetween them* Here, try some.
Sephiroth: *”I don’t have wax in my ears, Noemi. I just have such a hard time believing it.”* *warily eyes the ice cream and frowns* No food should be that white. What is it?
Noemi: It’s called ice cream. It’s really good. *pushes it closer to him* Try some. You’ll really like it. *she gives him a wide smile and tries to encourace him with a nod*
Sephiroth: *picks up a spoon and dips it into the ice cream, warily sniffing it before tasting. He sits up quite readily and pulls the bowl towards him, wanting to eat it all*
Noemi: Hey! Some of that is mine. *tries to grip onto the bowl* You can have only half. And I thought you weren’t hungry. *sticks her toungue out at him*
Sephiroth: *makes a slight posessive growling noise, but lets her take the bowl away from him* I’ll leave you half… go get some more or something. It’s nice.
Noemi: *frowns at Sephiroth* This is all that they’ll give us. They spoil me, but they’re not going to spoil me that much.. Please, Sephiroth, just leave me some… *slides the bowl back over to him, a bit reluctant. She deeply sighs as she pushes the bowl away from herself*
Sephiroth: Where did you get it? I can go try and get some. Then you don’t have to share any more. *moves out of his chair, wobbling slightly as he stands*
Noemi: The assitant over there *points to the one near the door* got it for me. Please, just accept that we got some at all and share. *Frowns as she watches him* You shouldn’t be walking in your condition..
Sephiroth: I’m fine.. *stumbles slightly, then falls flat on his back. He does not seem worried however, for he stares up at the sky to admire it*
Noemi: *sighs at Seph and slowly shakes her head. She quickly takes a bite out of the ice cream then gets up and walks over to him. Sitting down next to him, she offers the bowl to him and frowns* Here, you can have all of it. I had my fill.
Sephiroth: I thought you just said to share it… *closes his eyes and struggles to sit up* You can keep it now…
Noemi: *sets the bowl down before gripping onto Sephiroth’s arms and helping him upright* I had my share. You can have the rest. *She picks up the bowl again and tries to plant it in Sephy’s hands* I want you to have it, Sephiroth.
Sephiroth: *sighs at her* What made you change your mind? *takes the bowl and begins to eat from it*
Noemi: Oh, just eat and stop being a pain, Sephiroth.. *shakes her head* We only have another five more minutes in here before lessons anyway.
Sephiroth: I’m not good enough to go back and continue…*sits back down at the table and slowly feeds himself* I don’t want to either. I’ll be fine…
Noemi: *shakes her head at him* You know full well it isn’t up to us. *sighs as she looks up and sees their instructors heading their way* You’d better hurry up.
Sephiroth: *eyes the instructors and considers escaping, deciding that he shouldn’t as he wouldn’t get far. He just sits at the table and groans* I don’t want to go back…
Noemi: *sadly shakes her head at Sephy’s statement* You know we have no choice in the matter, Sephiroth. *she obediently gets up and walks toward her instructor as he calls out her name* ~I guess I’ll see you again tonight. Take care of yourself.~
Sephiroth: *groans and remains where he is, not wanting to go anywhere with his assistants. They are used to his antics and soon stop convincing him to walk with them as they pick him up and carry him back towards the laboratory. He wiggles in protest, but he doesn’t have enough strength to fight back against them. When he is back in the lab once again, they decide that because he is incapable of running around, they decide to CT scan his brain area and connect him up to a machine to monitor brain wave functions. At the end of the day, Sephy is deposited back in the cell, a plate of dry high-carbohydrate content biscuits and a glass of milk left on his table for him to consume at his own leisure.*
Noemi: *spends the rest of the afternoon in aeronotics classes, studying up on how to fly airplanes and other ships, including space-fairing types. She revels in the praise she receives for her good work, but worries over Seph’s condition. By the end of the day, she is brought back to the cell and deeply sighs as she spots Sephy. She moves to snuggle up against him and would sleep at his side all night long*
(I think I’m ready to skip time to Hojo’s reinstatement in the lab if you are)Seph: *doesn’t object to Noemi’s company and sleeps much more easily with her nearby*
Nearly half a month passes before Hojo would be allowed back into the lab area. He has been given a serious warning about misconduct and treason from the independant commitee who monitor and police the people who live within the military complex.
Because Professor Gast is dead, the commitee had no choice but to hand the postion of project manager over to Hojo because he was only one rank under Gast. However, the commitee had ruled for more security to be put in place. Hojo has been placed under probation and is to be monitored at all times while he is at work, thus, a grim and grumpy faced man in a black suit would follow him from now on and stand in the vicinity of the area while Hojo goes about his work. The commitee has also ordered for more cameras to be installed so they can more effectively monitor his activities.Hojo: *is quite openly angry as he finally heads into the lab in the late afternoon on the day of his reinstatement as the suited man follows behind him, never saying a word. He kicks open the laboratory door and snarls at the team of scientists, demanding updates, test results, and reports they have made in the time he has been gone*
Noemi: *is currently eating lunch with Sephy in the courtyard again, so she is not aware of the fact that Hojo has returned. She grins as she offers Sephy her ice cream once more, having gotten used to him wanting to hog it all to himself. Then, she looks up at one of the newly installed cameras and frowns* I wonder why they put those up… We’ve been good and haven’t tried escaping at all. *shakes her head* It’s like they’re punishing us for being good.
Kerash: *moves into the lab, having been disturbed from her own work by Hojo’s outbursts. She loudly snorts at him and growls* So, they did actually go through with it and let you back in here.
Sephiroth: *glances up at the camera and wipes the traces of melted ice cream off his face, burping* I agree with you, how much more do they want to see? One day, I should give them something really interesting to watch. *begins to stir the topping that was drizzled ontop of the ice cream into the melted bits at the sides, continuing to eat it*
Hojo: *ignores her at first as he walks over to the printer on the far side of the lab, picking up some printouts that have begun to spew out of the printer so he can read them and catch up* Yes, they have, woman. Apparently I’m too valuable of an asset to lock away and never use again. *smirks* I bet they would never do that for you.
