Sephiroth: *slowly sits up, seeming rather groggy and disorientated. He spends a moment to regain his senses properly, his eyes focussing on the pile of folders. He picks one up and sits up properly, frowning as he goes through it* Why the hell are we here..?
Aeris: Sephy, he’s… *whimpers at Yuffie, then hugs her* Sephy got killed! He’s died, somebody killed him…
Cloud: *seems a little shocked at the news, but grins* Really? When did this happen?
Jenna: *sits down infront of Seph, softly speaking* We are here because it is far away from the idiots. Also, there is a certain male who deserves to know the real truth, not a truth that was planted before-hand and edited with the expectation of you or someone else finding it. And the only way to give that person the truth is to give hard evidence. *looks into Seph’s face*
Yuffie: *blinks at Aeris then pats her back* Hey, calm down. That bastard is the one who killed you, Aeris. He deserved to stay dead.
Sephiroth: *grunts, seeming more interested in flipping through the files. He scowls as he reads through test result after test result, slowly shaking his head* I knew I was an experiment. You don’t need to show me this. *continues looking through the papers anyway*
Aeris: *just sobs and hugs Yuffie* But he never even had a chance… he wasn’t bad, really… I could have changed him, but now… *loudly sobs*
Jenna: *shakes her head and just silently watches Seph. She doesn’t want to scare him away, so she just waits for him to come across the information on his heritage on his own. Unknown to her, there may also be bits that refer to the escape attempt that she orchestrated when Seph was little*
Yuffee: *helplessly looks over at Cloud and mouths the words “help me” to him. Then she pats Aeris’s back once more* He was born a bastard, Aeris. Even if there was something good in him, he was way too old to turn chicken from being a murderer now.
Sephiroth: *Just reads through the files, seeming almost mesmerized by the details and information contained inside* I do not remember a lot of this, but then again, some of it is quite familiar…
Cloud: *moves over to Aeris* Oh come on, Aeris. Cheer up. At least you’re with us. Yuffie’s right – Sephiroth would have never changed his ways. Not ever.
Jenna: *yawns with boredom, figuring that Sephiroth will be taking his time at reading all those files. So, she lies down on the floor and closes her eyes, deciding to lightly rest for a bit. She does not really fall asleep, she’s mostly just resting her eyes*
Yuffie: *nods at Cloud and tries to wiggle out of Aeris’s grip* Yea, listen to your boyfriend, Aeris.
Sephiroth: *spends about an hour reading. He glances up at Jenna when he becomes bored of it and grunts at her, confused* Why are you showing me all of this? Why are you allowing me to receive such information? What have I ever done for you to make you do this in return for me? I am a selfish person, I only ever think of myself. There is nothing I could have possibly done for you, to have you give me access to such information. *grunts* What do you want from me?
Aeris: *lets go of Yuffie and slowly heads back towards the Highwind* He’s not my boyfriend… I didn’t ever love Cloud…
Jenna: *slits open her eyes to look up at Seph. She studies his expression for a moment, then sits upright* I am doing this for you because I care. *looks into his eyes* No one deserves to live a life full of lies. Also, I am doing this because I failed a young boy years ago. I wish to repair that mistake.
Yuffie: Oh, come on, Aeris. We all know that you had a date with Cloud before. *jogs after her, not wanting to stick around in the monster-infested caverns*
Sephiroth: *seems quite confused and slowly shakes his head, gruntng sharply* Thank you very much, but I do not not remember. In any case, those days are over. I went through a war and now I’m a murderer.
Aeris: *sighs* Only one date… But Cloud has Tifa…
Jenna: *purses her lips together as she thinks, looking at the floor. Then she closes her eyes and concentrates on fully removing the mental blocks on his memories* Murderer or not, makes no difference to me. Find me someone who is innocent and then maybe we’ll talk about you having sins.
Yuffie: Huh? Cloud and Tifa are an item? Since when?
Sephiroth: *flinches and seems to be in great discomfort as the blocks are removed. He stares at Jenna for a moment, then loudly grunts* I still did things that were not correct, regardless of the fact you ask me if I can find others who have sins or not…. I am a murderer, plain and simple.
Aeris: They aren’t an item, but you can just tell Tifa likes Cloud from the way she keeps looking at him and then denying it.. *forces a smile on her face* She’d never admit it, but she loves Cloud.
Cloud: Hold on a second there, Aeris. Tifa and I are just friends, nothing more. Alright? *frowns* We’re childhood friends, and we’ve never been any closer than that. Now let’s just go back to the Highwind and call this an adventure, hmm?
Jenna: *rolls her eyes* The point of my little speach there was that I couldn’t care less. *holds up her gloved right hand* You are not the only one in the universe who has killed. *turns her attention to his eyes* Now, did you find the information as to your parents in that stack yet? I do not wish to have to repeat again that Jenova is not your mother.
Yuffie: *moans* Can’t we just stay at the Icicle Inn for tonight? I don’t want to go flying so soon…
Sephiroth: *grunts and slowly nods his head* I read the reports on what they did to my birth mother, yes… *looks rather troubled by the information* I am relieved and discontent at the same time. Relieved that Jenova is not my mother – I hate her. She is a monster. I am glad that I am not related to it. I am discontent with the fact that I came from a weak human female however. *tosses the records away from himself and gets to his feet* I do not know what I am going to do now.
Cloud: Ask Cid, not me. He’s the one who flies the plane, and he’s the one who dictates where we fly to when we’re not on a mission.
Jenna: *quickly stands up as Seph moves to his feet and walks over to him* There is nothing wrong with being a human, Seph. *frowns in thought and looks up into his eyes* If you are unsure as to where to go from here, well… *frowns even more as she considers her suggestion, but decides to go ahead with it* As I mentioned before, I can take you to someplace where this planet cannot bother you. Where you will have anonimity. My homeplanet that is quite some distance away from here.
Yuffie: But you’re the leader, not Cid. Hrmph. Fine. I’ll talk to him. *races toward the Highwind so that she can go in search of Cid*
Sephiroth: *seems rather suspicious, wondering whether or not Jenna’s suggestion is a trick* I am not sure if I want to go to this ‘home planet’. It does not sound very safe or inviting. But if it means anonimity… *ponders for a few moments, then loudly snorts* Why would you allow me to go to your home planet, knowing full well what I intend to do with this one?
Aeris: Just follows behind Yuffie, still rather sad and depressed* Poor Sephy…
Jenna: *shrugs at Sephiroth and simply states* Why not? Anyway, Earth is not a living planet like this one. I just want to give you true freedom for once. *rests her right hand on her hip and looks up at him* So, do you want to take up my offer or not?
Yuffie: Oh, chear up, Aeris. Now he can kill ghosts in the lifestream and not us.
Sephiroth: I do not like the idea of going somewhere blindly. What will be there? How do I know you are not just tricking me so you can take advantage of me just as others have done in the past? *grunts* I will not be taken advantage of ever again.
Aeris: He’s not even IN the Lifestream, Yuffie… I don’t know where he is. When he died, I should have too. Something doesn’t make sense.
Cloud: What if he’s not dead? *stops, looking back down into the cave* What if he faked it so we’ll leave and he can take over the planet when we’re not looking?
Jenna: If I wanted to take advantage of you, Sephiroth, I would have enacted such as soon as you passed out from trying to absorb all that Mako. *shakes her head* Anyway, do you have a better idea? This planet wants you dead and your misguided attempt to take over it failed. If you have a better idea, then say so. *pauses for a moment then craftily smirks* Or, is it that you are too afraid to try some adventure?
Yuffie: What?! Oh, man.. You mean we have to run back in there and dodge all those monsters again? *sighs* Alright, lead the way, Cloud.
Sephiroth: *loudly snorts, annoyed* I am not afraid to do anything, female. Don’t be ridiculous. *glares at her* I still don’t trust your idea. At least in the other situations, I had a way of getting out of it if needed. If I were to go to some unknown destination, perhaps I would never be able to get away.
Cloud: I don’t know for sure, ask Aeris to seek him out. She’s the one with the sensing powers, afterall.
Aeris: I already tried that, he’s not down here…
Jenna: *shakes her head* As I said, do you have a better idea? Anywhere on this planet, you’ll be subjected to its willpower. So, you cannot possibly ever find a place to hide. *opens up a portal again* Or you can go where it can’t ever find you.
Yuffie: Well, that’s probably because he’s dead. *looks over at Aeris* Show us where you saw his corpse. That should be enough.
Sephiroth: *scowls with suspicion at the portal, then shrugs and moves through, figuring he can leave or escape any time*
Aeris: *sighs and leads them back down the path* Come with me… it was in one of those old Dark Dragon caverns. A woman was standing over his dead body and she was telling me to get out of there before I was killed too..
Cloud: You should keep an eye out for that woman, she could be an even greater threat than Sephiroth. *pauses* It could have very well been Jenova too, she impersonated one of us once.
Jenna: *watches Seph enter the portal. She nods to herself once she sees him vanish within the temporal rift. Then, she glances around to insure that there isn’t something that would escape into the portal or that there isn’t something she’s leaving behind. Once determining that everything is perfectly fine, she leaps into the portal as well. When she reappears, she gets spit out of the portal and slammed into a rather large tree* Umph…
Yuffie: A woman? What sort of woman? What woman can kill Sephiroth all on her own? *shakes her head* She’s gotta be pretty strong..
Sephiroth: *gets to his feet after being unceremoniously dumped on the ground, growling in pain. He dusts off his coat and snorts, then turns to face Jenna, seeming mildly amused by the fact she has smacked into a tree* What a graceful landing.
Cloud: Exactly. So we need to be on high alert… I don’t want somebody like that coming and doing the same thing Sephiroth did. We’d be back to square one all over again, which would be no good at all… *slowly shakes his head*
Jenna: *Rubs her nose as she steps away from the tree and snorts at Sephiroth* Thank you. *there is sarcasm dripping off her words. She shakes her head and snorts once more* Those rifts are too unperdicatble to be able to pin-point a landing. *she looks around then begins moving through the foilage in order to get to a large lake*
Yuffie: Can you tell us more about this woman, Aeris? Was she big? Did she steal the black materia from Sephiroth or something? Was she blue? *Shivers at the thought of Jenova’s skin-color*
Sephiroth: Where are you going? *follows Jenna, his irritation fading as he looks around him. He has never seen this kind of natural setting before, and seems quite interested in it* Where the hell are we? We’re definitely not in Midgar any more. *breathes in the clean air and sighs*
Aeris: She wasn’t blue, no… she was a person, she looked like us, except taller. And she had glowing orange eyes. I don’t know if she stole the Black Materia or not… *hops down onto the bottom level of the cave, then heads into the minor cavern system she had headed down before* It was up here.
