Sephiroth: *grunts* Hrmph… I am sorry I offended you. *pauses* But you should stop blaming me for things that happen. *snorts* That time you got close to me and what happened this morning was your doing, not mine. *folds his arms*
Aeris: Yes… it can kill him easily. But if that happens, I die too… *frowns* We don’t want that to happen. I’ll keep searching for him…
Jenna: *Grumbles* I do not know what your problem with me having been close to you while we were sleeping in the same bed was anyway. *snorts* It’s not like I’m about to rip open your abdomen and spill your guts all over the place. *crosses her arms* Just don’t say I need psychiatric help ever again and I won’t point out how insane you’ve been in the past.
Yuffie: *is silent for several minutes then finally speaks* Umm… does Cloud know that bit? I think he’s pretty determined to kill Sephiroth… If we do that, you die? Is that really true?
Sephiroth: *grunts* Fine. Just stop blaming me for things you do in your sleep and I will not say anything more on the subject. *folds his arms, clearly quite annoyed*
Aeris: No, he doesn’t… *slowly shakes her head* I’m not sure if I want him to find out either.. because he seems so intent on killing him. If he wants to, that’s just his fault. But the entire purpose of the exercise was to prove to everybody that Sephy could change. *sighs and closes her eyes, then begins to pray* I’ll make it put him here… and we’ll start again.
Jenna: Stop getting angry with me for things that I do in my sleep. *grumbles* Afterall, you’ve been known to tightly curl into a ball and whimper like a beaten child. *snorts* It’s not like your dreams are perfectly peaceful.
Yuffie: Umm… Ok, you do that. I hope you get good luck with that. *gives Aeris a thumbs up then quickly dashes away. She runs to where Cloud is then tugs on his arm* Cloud, there’s something I just found out that you really, really, really need to know. Aeris just told me that if we kill Sephiroth, she’ll die as well!
Sephiroth: I will stop getting angry if you stop blaming what you do on me. *snorts* Because I didn’t pry into your mind. *folds his arms, annoyed* So, when you’re finished fussing around for the morning, we can get ahead on our way.
Aeris: *opens her eyes again and stares back at Yuffie* Yuffie!! Don’t tell him that!
Cloud: What? *blinks* Are you sure about that? How does that even work?
Jenna: Well, maybe if you didn’t take offence to what people do in their sleep, I wouldn’t have to point out that you are just as likely to do things as well. *scowls at him* And that is up to you. If you are done being a dick, then yes, I suppose we can go.
Yuffie: Aeris told me. She said that if Sephiroth dies, she does as well. I don’t think she was lying to me. *yelps as she notices that Aeris has overheard and ducks behind Cloud*
Sephiroth: *loudly snarls at Jenna’s comment and glares openly at her, keeping his arms folded* Fine, let’s move out then. *snarls* And for the record, I am not being a ‘dick’. I was merely making a statement. Because you were blaming me for what you were doing.
Aeris: Yuffie, I already told you I’d rather he didn’t know! Why’d you have to go and tell him? *looks quite upset* You’ve gone and ruined what I had planned…
Cloud: *frowns as Yuffie ducks behind him, then glances back at Aeris* Planned what? *looks really confused* What’s going on?
Jenna: You are not exactly being remorseful for your previous statements either. *Snarls back at him* So, until you appologize for shoving me away that first day, telling me I need psychiatric help today, and so on, you are a dick. Plain and simple. Anyway, you don’t know shit about what I’ve been through to give me memories and dreams like what you are indicating. *turns her back to him and begins walking to the door*
Yuffie: I don’t really know.. But Aeris said it quite clearly. Then she said that she didn’t want you to know. But if no one told anyone, we’d wind up killing both her and Sephiroth!
Sephiroth: I’m not going to apologize for shoving you away. However, I am going to apologize for the fact that I have offended you regarding my comment that you need psychiatric help. Sorry. *gets to his feet and heads for the door also, trying to push past her* I can get what I need by myself…
Cloud: Well that isn’t very good… isn’t there any way around it? *turns his attention to Aeris* Aeris?
Aeris: *has her back turned to them now, and has her head lowered, praying in a low voice*
Jenna: *growls and follows Sephiroth anyway, not caring for his statement* Like hell you can. You’re just an overgrown child, Seph. *snorts* You are far from the type of person who makes sane and mature decicions.
Yuffie: *frowns at the way that Aeris is ignoring them* I don’t know what’s up with her… She’s been acting strange ever since she came back to life with Sephiroth. I mean, how can she possibly be concerned for the man who killed her?
Sephiroth: *growls back at her* I am not an overgrown child. I don’t know how you manage to conjure up such an assumption, I certainly do not do anything that is considered childish. *stops to tighten his yukata’s sash, then heads into the town square. He makes his way towards the stairs, intending to walk up to the shops area, then stops, scowling down at his hands, which are beginning to tingle* What the hell is happening to me? *the coloured red energies that make up Sephiroth begin to drift away from him, disintergrating off into the air around him*
Cloud: I.. I really don’t know. Either she knows something we don’t, or she’s holding onto a false hope. *scowls* Personally, I don’t think Sephiroth is capable of changing, ever. I think it’s a lost cause. I don’t know why she keeps persuing it.
Aeris: *continues praying, stopping for a moment to mumble back to them, her voice sad* You’re so prejudiced and judgemental…
Jenna: You are an overgrown child because you don’t want to take responsiblity for your actions to start with. Then, you refuse to admit your own damn emotions. That is about the most stupid thing anyone can do. Then- *immediately stops her tirade as she notices the energy tendrals that are leaving Sephiroth’s form and loudly hisses, assuming that the planet is trying to kill him* Just damn great.. *grits her teeth then quickly walks up to Sephiroth. She grips onto his hands before casting a spell to make it feel as if his attacker had just been jabbed by a huge javelin*
Yuffie: I don’t doubt your assessment at all. She can’t be thinking clearly to believe that Sephiroth would all the sudden turn up to be a perfectly nice guy. That’s just crazy talk.
Aeris: *yelps and snaps her eyes open as she hears the planet’s cries echoing through the prayer she was trying to weave* Something’s wrong with the planet… it cried out in immense pain just now. I think Sephy just tried to harm it, because I asked it to take him away and put him back here with us. *lowers her head* We really need to get him back… he’s so confused right now…
Sephiroth: *groans slightly as the dismantling of his spirit ceases. He looks quite drained and disorientated from his experience and tries to move away from Jenna so he can lean against the fountain and regain his sense of balance*
Jenna: *quickly moves in order to act as a support for Sephy, pressing her shoulder against his side* It’s alright now, Seph.. *mutters* I think that’s the fourth time I’ve saved your life now.. *shakes her head then begins casting spells to pull him together again and assist him in healing*
Yuffie: Heh! Yea, sure, confused. So confused that he’s trying to kill the planet all over again. Seriously, Aeris, it’s you who is confused! *shakes her head* Maybe Sephiroth put her under some sort of spell when they were revived. That would explain it all.
Aeris: *blinks* What? No.. *quickly shakes her head* I am acting on behalf of everyody who believes that Sephy isn’t bad… I just want to help him. And it’s thoughts like that, that do not help at all.
Sephiroth: *scowls and leans against her, lowering his head* Fourth? When were the other times? *mutters* Can we sit down for a moment…
Yuffie: You’re doing things on the behalf of those who believe that Sephy isn’t bad? *deeply frowns* But that’s only.. See, Cloud, Sephiroth must be manipulating her somehow! No one but him would believe that he’s not all that bad.
Jenna: *nods at Sephiroth and begins to guide him down so he can sit* Well, there was the first time in which you overdosed yourself with Mako. I absorbed the excess energy and released it into the surrounding area so you’d survive there. Then there was the time in which I brough you into my bedroom after you had been struck on the head with lightning. Then, I disturbed the dragon while you were in her mental grasp. She could have easily made you brain-dead or worse. Afterall, Seferia specializes in mental attacks, especially the ones that leave you in delusions filled with your worst fears come to life. And finally, there is right now.
Sephiroth: Hrmph… *moves to sit down, leaning forward, hunching over* Thank you then, I suppose… *puts a hand to his forehead and loudly hisses* I don’t even know what caused that. Did you get to find out what it was at all?
Aeris: *blinks* What? *quickly shakes her head* Oh come on now, that is just mean. Didn’t we have this discussion before? *loudly sighs* Now what did I tell you about what I was planning with Sephy before? My motives didn’t change. Why do you suddenly think he’s manipulating me?
Jenna: I’m not quite certain myself. It happened so quickly that I only had enough time to cast a generalized spell to strike out at anything that was attatched to you at that time. Still… I think it may have been this planet, but I’m not certain. *shakes her head then scoots a bit closer to him. She gently sets her hands on his scalp and begins to massage in an attempt to alieve the pain*
Yuffie: Yea, but that is crazy talk. How can you honestly believe that Sephy can change? That man was a killing machine even before he went insane! He slaughtered Wutai without mercy. You don’t know how evil and bad he was before Cloud’s story even began!
Sephiroth: *grunts slightly, then pries open his eye closer to her and looks over at her for a moment* What are you doing…? You’re going to mess up my hair. *closes his eyes again and lowers his head, seeming to like it*
Aeris: I told you before.. Sephy never had a chance to be any different. *folds her arms* I can’t believe I’m explaining it to you all over again!
Jenna: *smirks and continues to massage his scalp* What am I doing? Can’t you tell, Seph? *softly chuckles* I’m giving your cranium a massage so that the headache that you’re experiencing would go away. And stop worrying about your hair. It’s not like anyone would care if it’s a bit messy. *shakes her head at him*
Yuffie: Yea, you can say that. You weren’t there to see how he treated Wutai! *frowns and looks up at Cloud* You believe me, right?
Sephiroth: *grunts at her* I’ll be fine soon… *slowly pushes himself to his feet* We should get ahead on our way. *quickly shakes his head, trying to fight the disorientation* Stupid planet, I don’t understand why the hell it would do that to me.. as soon as we get my clothing back, we should leave again.
Cloud: Of course I believe you, Yuffie. Sephiroth is a bastard – I don’t know why the hell Aeris trusts him enough to think it’s a good idea to bring him back.
Aeris: *folds her arms* I don’t believe this. If you’re not going to listen to my reasoning even after I’ve explained it to you again, I’m just going to go and get him myself. We reached an agreement, somebody broke it. I brought him back on the condition that he can’t do anything, and I don’t know how it was broken. We need to get him back and back on track.
Jenna: *quickly gets to her feet as well as Seph stands, remaining close by incase he needs support once more* So, you do not want me to make you immortal today, Sephiroth? If you are immortal, you will not need to worry about the planet trying to kill you since it will have no power to do such.
Yuffie: Well, duh, Aeris. Sephiroth lied to you, just like he lies to everyone he meets. Remember how he deceived Cloud into thinking that he was a mindless clone? *grins* Of course, Cloud may be mindless nonetheless. *quickly steps away from the blonde incase he attempts to take a swing at her*
Aeris: *sighs* You guys… he didn’t lie to me. I’m getting tired of explaining this to you both. If you’re not going to help me, I’m going to do it alone. *walks across the deck, wandering over to Cid* Please land this plane. I want to get off.
Cloud: Yuffie, don’t bring stuff up like that! *frowns at Aeris* Hey, come on and listen to her, she’s right you know.
Sephiroth: *grunts* I could care less about it right now… I am more concerned about the fact that the planet may want to dismantle me again. *snorts* Best to get away as soon as possible.
Yuffie: Cid, come on, talk sense into her! There’s no way anyone can bring out the good in someone who doesn’t have any good to start with! *vigorously shakes her head* I’m telling you, Sephiroth is a killer to the core. You don’t know the half of the things he did to Wutai.
Jenna: As I said, if you are immortal, your planet can’t just simply dismantle you. *shakes her head* It’d have no power over you in that manner any longer. Still, if you don’t want it, I don’t blame you. It is a rather hassel being able to live forever.
Sephiroth: I want it, I’m just saying that it’s not my highest priority right now… deal with it later… *stumbles back a bit, then springs off into the air, forcing himself to levitate up into the air, so he can fly off*
Cid: F*ckin hell, well why don’t I just land this goddamned plane!? If you don’t know where you’re going, and Aeris doesn’t want to be flyin’ with us any more, well what’s the goddammed point of even going anywhere in the first place?!
Aeris: *shakes her head and walks off the deck, heading into the living area of the plane*
