Jenna: *sighs and decides to follow him. She pauses for a moment as she hears the sounds of the Highwinds engines, but doesn’t tarry long. Instead, she mutters under her breath* I told him this was too perdicatable.. *So, she quickly jogs to catch up to the ex-general*
Sephiroth: *just walks further into caverns and climbs up, heading for the nearest source of water that he remembers is close by* You still want to follow me, female? *glances back at her and shakes his head* It is a pointless persuit. Whatever you are trying to acheive, you are not doing it.
Jenna: *narrows her eyes, but does not say anything to the man. Instead she moves over to the water source herself and takes a few sips. Then, she glances at the feather that he took from before, still not speaking to him*
Sephiroth: *sits down near the water once he has reached it, then washes off his hands, splashing cold water into his face. He moves away from the body of water and leans his back up aganist a rock as he sits down, frowning as he contnues to examine the feather, somewhat calmer now*
Jenna: *stands up then softly speaks to the ex-general* You do recognize that, don’t you? You used to have one for a while when you were in Hojo’s laboratory. At least, until that man wrenched it out of your hands.
Sephiroth: I had one once, yes. It came from an angel, or a phoenix, I forget exactly now. *slowly nods his head* But yes, I owned one of these. I kept it under my pillow. Hojo took it away from me, but he couldn’t do anything useful with it – it caught fire and burned his hands. *scowls slightly in annoyance and places the feather in his inner coat pocket, not wanting to talk about it any more*
Jenna: *deeply frowns in thought, considering whether she should remove the blocks on his memories or not. Eventually, she softly speaks* You were told that it was from an angel… *glances over at Sephiroth then concentrates. She slowly removes a few more of the blocks that she had set up in his head to keep him from remembering her*
Sephiroth: *Scowls in discomfort as the blocks are removed and gets to his feet* What the hell is going on!? *tries to block the sensation out, snarling in anger* Get out of my mind! *immediately heads out of the area to get away from her*
Jenna: *shakes her head* I am not in your head. *She gets up and moves to follow him* You’re being rash and irresponsible, ex-general Sephiroth. I heard the idiots’ ship above us five minutes ago. They’re bound to be down here in any minute.
Yuffie: *is very eager to get off the Highwind. She hops about from foot to foot in anticipation as she stands on the deck of the ship* Could you make it any rougher, Cid?!
Sephiroth: *makes a loud growling sound and stops, glancing upwards towards the cave’s opening* Then I need to get away from here… *turns to head down another cavern, intending to hide and seek refuge in one of the side caves*
Cid: Shut yer damn yap and get off. We’re here. *turns the plane’s engines off after landing it* Everybody, get down there and find him. *leans against the steering wheel of his ship to light a cigarette*
Cloud: *places his sword in it’s holster on his back, then leaps down into the crater* Come on guys, let’s go stop Sephiroth before he can cause any damage!
Aeris: *sighs and follows Cloud* He’s probably not going to do anything….
Jenna: *shakes her head and follows Seph once more* I don’t know what going into a dead-end cave will do… *frowns, thinking that Sephiroth is not thinking that logically. Still, she wants to stay near to him, so she doesn’t leave*
Yuffie: *leaps down off the ship and stumbles slightly as she lands* Thank goodness for land.
Sephiroth: *growls to himself as he hears the engines of the Highwind winding down, so he heads even deeper into the dug out tunnels the Northern Cave. He only stops when the noise is muffled, and leans against the rock* They’re going to take me back with them… *snorts* I don’t want to be their prisoner. I never asked to be brought back to life.
Cloud: Yes, I second that. I don’t mind flying, but I still like to travel along the ground. And this cave can’t be navigated by air. *glances to Aeris* So, which way should we go?
Aeris: He’s down quite a bit… I’ll go on ahead and you can catch up. *teleports away from the group, appearing in the same cave system as Sephiroth* Sephy? Are you in here? Stop running from us, we’re not going to hurt you.
Jenna: *moves up to Seph’s side and reaches over to gently touch his left upper arm. She looks up into his face and firmly speaks* You will not be a prisoner to anyone ever again, Seph. I promise you that I’ll insure that you do not ever return to captivity. *mutters under her breath, hoping that Sephiroth won’t hear* I failed you once on that matter, but I will not ever repeat that error…
Yuffie: Hmph! She’s going to get herself killed. Aeris, get back here! *she rushes down into the cave* You don’t know how strong of monsters there are down there! And then there’s Sephiroth!
Sephiroth: *snorts* I can get myself out of this situation all on my own… *promptly moves ahead as he hears Aeris call out to him, seemingly taking random paths now, just desiring to get away*
Aeris: *calls back up to Yuffee* I’ll be fine, don’t worry! *calls down the cave* Come on Sephy, don’t be shy… nobody’s going to hurt you. We just want to take you back, that’s all.
Jenna: *grits her teeth at Sephiroth’s attitude* Listen, stop it with the macho attitude. You are not tricking anyone. *moves to walk alongside Sephiroth* You’re going to get yourself cornered if you continue this way.
Yuffie: *looks back at Cloud* Hey, what are you guys waiting for? Come on! Aeris is already down there! *continues to rush into the cave*
Sephiroth: *scowls down at Jenna* It’s not an act… *grunts* I honestly do want to just get out of here and be left alone. Is that such a hard request to honor?
Aeris: Sephy, is that you? I can hear you talking to somebody… are you with somebody? *sighs* Come on out Sephy, that path leads to a dead end… just come on back, okay? Nobody’s going to hurt you, we just want to keep an eye on you. You can’t stay down here.
Cloud: I’m coming, you don’t need to tell me twice! *bounds down the rocks after her* Where did she go? *calls out* Aeris, where are you!? I can’t see you…
Jenna: *loudly snorts at Sephiroth* I am not talking about that part. I am talking about you not even acknowledging the fact that you have help available. I am talking about the fact that your desire to be all alone is a lie. You longed for years for someone who was like you to exist. You longed for someone to end your lonliness. So, stop the act.
Yuffie: Aeris! Where are you! *yelps as she runs into a Zombie Dragon* Aw, man!
Sephiroth: You? Why would you want to help me? *grunts* Fine, go ahead and try, but not much can be done. They’re going to persue me to the ends of this planet if they try.
Aeris: *Calls back out to Yuffee* I’m down here!! I think I found Sephy!
Jenna: My reasons are mine and mine alone, Seph. *glances back where Aeris is then at Sephiroth* They will not chase you if they believe that you are dead. *moves closer to him, softly speaking* Stay calm, I will not harm you.
Yuffie: *dodges the Zombie Dragon and slashes at it with her shuriken* I’ll be down there soon, Aeris.. *yells back* Hey, Cloud, guys, I can use some help!
Sephiroth: **loudly growls and glares back at her* What!? *deeply scowls but remains still, wondering what she is going to do. He stands there closely watching her* *”This better work. Don’t kill me.”*
Aeris: Now I know you’re up here, Sephy. *sighs and moves futher up the cave, much closer now*
Cloud: *leaps down from his ledge to attack the dragon, hacking up it’s wings with his Ultima-weapon* Already on it, Yuffee!
Jenna: As I said, I will not hurt you. *reaches up to gently touch Seph’s cheek then closes her eyes. Seph would feel rather cold all of the sudden as Jenna casts a temporary death spell, to make him, for the most part, dead for a few minutes. Just long enough to trick anyone who would do a quick investigation. Her back is facing Aeris at the time that the Cetra reaches where the two are*
Yuffie: *sighs in relief as Cloud jumps into the fight then swings her Shuriken at the dragon’s head. She grins and hops about as she sees the monster drop down, dead.* Good! Stay dead. *sticks her tongue out at the Zombie Dragon then looks over at Cloud* Come, I think Aeris is this way! *dashes off again*
Sephiroth: *makes a rather loud hissing noise as the spell and feeling of death washes over him, then he collapses, landing in a heap on the ground*
Aeris: *Sees Sephy fall and runs ahead to him* Oh no!! *crouches down over him and feels for a pulse* Sephy?? *shakes him, then looks up at Jenna* What did you do to him!? Bring him back to me!
Cloud: *returns his sword to its holster and runs off, following Yuffie* She better be alright… if Sephiroth has done something to her, I’ll never forgive myself. She should never have gone off on her own….
Jenna: *hardens her expression as she spots Aeris and glares down at her* He is a dangerous creature who did not deserve to live. Now, get out of here before I decide to send you along with him, girl. *holds out her hand and makes a sword appear with a mental spell. She presses the tip of the blade against Aeris’s neck* Get lost, now.
Yuffie: *pants as she continues rushing through the cave then stops and looks around* Aeris?? Where are you? *looks back Cloud* Do you know where we are?
Aeris: *begins to loudly sniffle as she backs away from them* I don’t understand it… Sephy died, but why didn’t I…? I should have, that was the agreement.. *glances down at Sephiroth, then begins to cry as she looks back at Jenna* He never even had a chance.. you shouldn’t have killed him! *quickly backs up and runs back out the way she came* I’m down here, Yuffie…
Cloud: I don’t know the Northern Cave that well, but just keep calling out, we’ll get down to Aeris in no time at all. Just keep on high alert for more monsters.
Jenna: *Sighs in relief as Aeris runs away then bends down next to Sephiroth. She sends the sword back into her subspace pocket. After patting Seph’s shoulder for a moment, she closes her eyes and concentrates. Soon afterwards, the pair appear in the remains of Hojo’s lab within the ruins of the Shin-Ra headquarters. Jenna steps away from Seph and begins pulling out the files concerning him from Hojo’s file cabinents. By the time Sephiroth “revives”, there’d be a small pile of folders sitting next to him*
Yuffie: *frowns as she hears Aeris’s voice* Aeris? Are you alright? What’s wrong? *dashes the last bit toward Aeris and frowns as she sees the girl’s tears* What happened?
