Sephiroth: *hisses slightly as the spell makes his hair dry out and become poufy. He immediately begins to comb it down with claws, loudly hissing in annoyance* So why are we going to see her? How is that a surprise, or something interesting that you want to show me? *scowls*
Jenna: *watches Sephiroth try to neaten up his fur and softly speaks* I believe your toungue would be the easiest way to take on such a task. *coughs* As for why I am bringing you there.. You’ll see. I want you to see the full scale of things that I deal with. *loudly snorts and mutters* Maybe then you’d realize that I am not weak.
Sephiroth: Is that what this is about? What more do you want me to say? I already said you weren’t weak. I already admitted that you’re stronger than me, and those other things would have probably beaten me to a pulp. *begins licking his arm fur straight*
Jenna: *snorts and lies down on the bed, still unconcerned with the fact that she’s naked* You’ll be useful if you can successfully infiltrate her operations for a day, either way. *narrows her eyes* As I said, I want you to know the full scope of what that feline is capable of.
Sephiroth: *places on his underwear and pants, then walks out of the bathroom area* You want me to be your scout or something? *grunts* Why do I have to do your scouting work for you? If you want to see what’s going on so badly, I am more than sure you can scope out the inside of her operations yourself.
Jenna: Would you rather have me deposit you in the middle of this human city while you’re looking like that? I’m certain they’ll be more than happy to try to burn you alive for being a warlock or something. *loudly snorts at the words and scowls as she recalls her own past* Anyway, I want you to have a full understanding.
Sephiroth: *sits down in the middle of the floor and resumes grooming his back and chest fur with his toungue* Why would they burn me alive for being a warlock? That’s a bit stupid and backwards. We’re in a modern day city, they shouldn’t care too much about magic. If anything, they would care about my appearance. It’s not everyday you see a 6ft high bipedal silver cat with long hair.
Jenna: *loudly snorts in irritation* Humans are always backwards and incompetent. It doesn’t matter how “advanced” they believe they are. *scowls, clearly having a grudge but not wanting to speak of the details. So, she gets to her feet and moves over to the clothing that she had left in the bathroom in order to place her armor back on. Once that is done, she returns to the bed and lies down*
Sephiroth: That’s a strange statement to hear. Those I knew were obsessed with advancement and the persuit of their science at my expense. *scowls and lowers his head* Once I escaped and the humans knew the true extent of my power, they hated me, avoided me. They feared the very air around me. *glances up at her* You would be one of the few whom did not. I still don’t know why you came to get me… *lowers his attention back to his fur, scowling at himself*
Jenna: *lifts her hair out from under the base of her collar, shaking it out in order to free it* Humans are a plague, that is all. They fear that which they do not understand. And once they fear, they hate. And once they hate, they destroy. *loudly snorts in disgust* As for why I came for you- I didn’t. I was just escaping and happened to have found you. Then, I felt you deserved better than to be stuck with your mortal enemies, so I offered you fredom. That is all.
Sephiroth: *curtly nods his head and doesn’t look up at her again for the time being, continuing to preen his chest and belly fur* I see. Well, I appreciate that much. *yawns and curls up on the floor*
Jenna: *glances down at Sephiroth* You can sleep on the bed if you desire. You do not need to remain on the floor. I do not plan on sleeping anytime soon anyway. *walks over ot the window and stares down at the city. A deep frown creases her features, but other than that, she seems to be indifferent*
Sephiroth: *rises to his feet again and sits down on the bed. He momentarily gives Jenna a glance of curiousity, wondering what she’s looking at outside, then soon shrugs it off and once again resumes grooming his fur, raking his back fur flat and neat with his claws*
Jenna: *After a few moments, she turns back around to face Sephiroth. She tilts her head as she watches him work on his fur and mumbles* Yes, definitely the type to like neatness… *shrugs to herself then walks over to sit down on the bed. She then uses magic to turn on the television by just giving it a small glance* Here, if you want proof of how narrow-minded humans universally are, there it is. Watch the news.
Sephiroth: *glances at the television* I am well aware of how narrowminded people are, I know that better than most would. You do not need to tell me. *pins his ears back, but watches it anyway* Ah, this city is currently in a state of disorder? *points to the television, which is currently showing local news events and shows footage of a car ramraiding a convenience store, then the reporter begins to describe the event that happened earlier in the day* Midgar did not seem as big as this place. *glances out the window*
Jenna: Over eight million people in one city… Yes, I’d say that this one is most definitely larger than Midgar. It also encompasses more space. For, there is this island, then several other boroughs to the north. *pats a pillow on the bed then lies down* Then there are all the cities that surround this one. The suburbs on their own make it seem like this city goes on for miles on end. *yawns* Still, you should get some sleep. We’ll be having a big day tomorrow.
Sephiroth: Ah, you haven’t really briefed me on where we are going tomorrow, exactly. *heads into the bathroom to retrieve the rest of his dry clothes, then walks out to lay them on a chair. Then he pulls off his pants and walks over to the bed, wearing only his boxer shorts* Or are you just going to lead me in there blind?
Jenna: *chuckles at Sephiroth* I am no brilliant millitary strategist, Seph. Do not come to me and expect plans of engagement. *looks up at him* My plans only consist of sneaking in there, allowing you to blend in with the feline’s troops, and then evaluating the state of her affairs. After that, I’ll think of something. *shrugs before looking down at his boxers* Hm, so you are daring just to wear those while around a beautiful female like me? *gives him a soft, teasing purring sound*
Sephiroth: *the teasing purpose of her question is entirely lost on Sephiroth, and he grunts in response as he sits on the bed* Yes. I usually sleep like this as it is comfortable. *sighs and shuffles back onto the free side of the bed, then moves in under the covers* So I am going to serve as a distraction only, hmm? Nice plan.
Jenna: Hm? When did I mention using you as a distraction? All I said was that I was going to let you blend in with her troops. That’s all. *stretches then makes herself comfortable. She watches Sephiroth move under the covers then decides it’d probably be best to do likewise* After that, it’ll be up to you to figure out what you want to do with yourself. You might as well know both sides of the conflict before choosing which one to support.
Sephiroth: *frowns* Choose which side to support? You mean you are asking me to choose whether to make an alliance with this being, and become your enemy? *slowly shakes his head and rolls onto his side, his back to her* That’s a rather unusual thing to do…
Jenna: *blinks at Seph’s statement and stares at his back* Hm? Why do you say that? *slowly reaches over to pet Seph’s back, being gentle about it in order to not disturb him* You’ve already repaid your debt to me a long time ago. No, that’s not the best way to say it.. You never had a debt to pay at all. You do not need to stay by my side.
Sephiroth: It just does not make that much sense to me. *turns his head to glance back at her* You retrieved me from a existance of being tethered and monitored by my enemies, you took me into your living space after I was attacked and ensured my continued survival and recovery. You introduced me to the areas of your living quarters. And now you have brought me here, invited me to bathe with you, sleep in the same bedding as you, and then allow me to decide whether or not to turn against you? Why would you willingly look after somebody, then give them the potential to become your enemy?
Jenna: Just because I saved you, that does not mean that siding with me is the best of choices. *shakes her head* Afterall, did not Aeris save you from death? Is she the person who you want to side with for all of eternity.. *pauses as she scans Sephiroth* Actually, it seems you two have a weak bond as it is.. So, maybe you will have no choice in the matter.
