Sephiroth: *sits up properly and glances up at the holographic display* I only have one more subject of interest to discuss with you, strange computer. *grunts* Where is the female now? Where exactly can I find her?
Centra: *the hologram flickers then changes to a map of the island. Centra uses a dot to display Jenna’s location and trajectory* From past knowledge of her trends, it is 99% likely that she will stop here. *highlights a seeminly barren part of the island*
Sephiroth: *nods* Thank you. *spends a moment memorizing the hologrammatic map, then nods his head, turning away from it. He heads out of the room and briskly walks up the stairs, exitting the base. From there, he securely shuts the door and leaps into the air, following the memorised flight path that Centra suggested to take. He also does a scan of the area up ahead as he flies over the land, hoping to either spot or sense Jenna out from the air*
Jenna: *is easily viewable from a distance since she is in what looks like a graveyard of exposed bones. At the moment, she is sitting ontop of the skull of what once was a rather large dragon. The entire area is devoid of life, including plants thanks to a spell that Jenna once cast in anger in the past. At the moment, Jenna is deep in her own thoughts. So, she doesn’t even notice Sephiroth’s approach*
Sephiroth: *lands down in the area, amongst ribcage and shoulderplate bones of some smaller raptorlike creatures. He kicks parts of the bones aside as he walks over to Jenna, loudly grunting as he approaches her from behind* You can’t stay here forever and dwell over it you know. There’s nothing you can do.
Jenna: *frowns as she hears movement behind her then quickly leaps to her feet to see who had just disturbed the “burial site”. She relaxes slightly as she spots Sephiroth, but deeply scowls at the sight of the bones that he had kicked in order to move toward her. Then, her scowl deepens as soon as she notices what he said to her* Dwell over what? *snorts* Who said I was dwelling over anything?
Sephiroth: Don’t play dumb with me. *shakes his head at her* Your computer explained the history of this place and it also told me that you blame yourself for the events that occured here. What I am saying is, don’t dwell over it, you can’t do anything.
Jenna: *Scowls at Sephiroth* You said so yourself not too long ago. Centra is just a stupid machine. What does she know? *snorts, even though she’s internally seething quite a bit* What reason do I have to blame myself for anything that occurred here? I did not send either side out.
Sephiroth: I don’t know. *shrugs at her* I’m not going to answer that question for you, that’s not even my business. *glances down at the earth and stomps on a piece of charred wood with his boot, crushing it* Do you want me to leave you alone with the pile of bones and scorched earth then? *grunts* You’re not here because you’re about to have a picnic, that much is blatantly obvious.
Jenna: *hisses at the sound of the snapping, thinking that Sephiroth ahd just crushed a bone. She narrows her eyes and prepares to attack him* You are a disrespectful- *cuts off her sentence as she sees a black substance near the edge of the field. She growls then dashes off* Do whatever you want, Seph. I have other things to attend to.
Sephiroth: *raises an eyebrow at Jenna’s sudden change of attitude and levitates into the air, intent on following her. He stays behind several feet as he flies over the land, keeping her in view, but not wanting her to know he’s following*
Jenna: *abruptly stops as she senses that Sephiroth is following her. She whips around to face him and glares up at him* Go away! This is not something that I desire for you to follow me into. Get out of- *yelps as sever black tentacles wrap around her, one twisting around her neck, and rapidly pull her back into the forest. The force of the pull is strong enough to yank her off of her feet*
Sephiroth: *is momentarily taken aback as he sees the tentacle, then rockets off after it. He takes his sword from its place at his side and flies downward to slash through the tentacle, attempting to sever it off in one clean swipe* What the hell is that?? *snorts*
The tentacle that Seph cuts off remains attatched to Jenna and doesn’t loosen it’s grip at all. Meanwhile, the other tentacles continue to drag her back until she is slammed into a tree. Since the sorceress is being choked, she barely makes a noise as she hits the tree. In addition, the black ooze begins to cover up her body in order to keep her contained.
Jenna: *is weakly struggling, though without any air available to her lungs, her stregnth is waning* ~Sephiroth, get out of here. This is no place for you here. Go! I can take care of this..~
Sephiroth: *snarls and lands down near Jenna after she has smashed into the tree* *”You don’t look like you can take care of it at all!”* *reaches over to try and pull the black ooze off Jenna’s neck, snarling* Whatever this junk is, I wish it would just go away! *attempts to slam the ooze with a sudden bolt of telekinetic energy*
The ooze wavers and shifts about as the telepathic bolt strikes it. However, the ooze refuses to budge from its position, at least for a few minutes. After a bit of time, the black substance suddenly pulls back and removes itself from Jenna, who collapses to the ground.
Jenna: *is not breathing and has bits of the black slime still in her mouth and nose, blocking the passage ways for air to come in*
Sesshou: *speaks with a seemingly disembodied voice* A brave move, mortal. But you should have listened to the girl and stayed out of affairs that do not concern you.
Sephiroth: *loudly snarls and moves over to Jenna, trying to shake her back to awareness. When that does not work, he turns her over and whacks the back of her head to try and clear the black slime out of her nose and mouth* Feh… *snarls* Has this female done anything to deserve that? *narrows his eyes* I do not like being told what to do.
Jenna: *remains limp and unbreathing even after Seph knocks the slime out of her mouth and nose. She had been asphixiated for so long that she’d require resusitation to start breathing.*
Sesshou: The girl belongs to me. Get your hands off of her, or I shall erradicate you. *the slime begins to gather a bit infront of Sephiroth and takes form. Sesshou chooses to take the form of a black female human* Now, hand her over. *reaches out her right hand to Seph and waves it in a beaconing manner*
Sephiroth: *snarls at Sesshou and turns Jenna’s head down, poking a finger in her mouth to get rid of the remaining slime. Then he lays her flat on the ground and begins attempting to artificially rescussitate her* *”She is of no use to you if she’s dead.”*
Sesshou: *her lips crack into a wide smile and she loudly laughs at Sephiroth’s statement* What does it matter if the mortal body is alive or dead. That woman has the ability to cheat death thanks to me. Thus, she is mine. *makes a move as if she were taking a single step forward, but phases in and out of existence faster than the eye would be able to register and reappears right infront of Sephiroth* Now, get your hands off my prize. *reaches out her right hand to the ex-general, allowing the slime that composes her body to extend outward and form a rather long sword*
Sephiroth: *ignores Sesshou completely and continues trying to perform articifial recussitation on Jenna. He stops momentarily to check her pulse, then frowns and thumps her chest with an open palm, also attempting CPR*
Sesshou: *scowls as she notices that Sephiroth is not even paying attention to her and slaps his face with the flat of her “sword”* Get your hands off that girl. She belongs to me. *growls* I do not want your filthy human hands touching her and tainting her potential power.
Sephiroth: *loudly snarls and swings around to glare at her. He grips his sword hilt tight, then charges forward, attempting to thrust the sword’s end into her chest* Don’t you dare do that to me ever again!
Sesshou: *doesn’t even flinch as the sword plunges into her. She gives Seph a dark chuckle before allowing the sword to melt out of her body as if she were made of nothing but butter. As the sword slides through her, the previously cut sections of “flesh” merge to create a seemingly whole appearance* Not very intelligent, mortal. *wiggles about her the fingers on her right hand before it shifts into the more monsterous hand of her preferred form. Then, she wraps the clawed hand around Sephiroth’s throat and lifts him up into the air* Now, get away from her. She and I have buisness to discuss.
