Jenna: *Shakes her head at Sephiroth’s attiude then moves to sit down next to him. She moves her hand over and gently sets her bare hand on his left arm* The copies in Centra’s databanks are not to worry about, Seph. As I said, what you should worry about is the fact that Cloud Strife had found the other copy of them in ShinRa’s computers a long time ago. Those files are public knowledge on your planet now.
Sephiroth: *makes a loud annoyed grunting noise* Feh… if I could have those master copies destroyed, I would. How the hell could something like that be allowed to become public? *scowls* I don’t suppose it matters. I’m never going back to that place again.
Jenna: *shrugs with indifference* If it is your desire not to ever return then that is your decision, Seph. Anyway, as I stated before, if it bothers you so much that information on you exists, why did you bother searching for it at all? What exactly were you doing to get Centra to show you those documents anyway? *narrows her eyes, becoming slightly suspicious* I know that Centra would hot have simply offered to give you this information without being prompted.
Sephiroth: I just simply picked up the device and asked to read. *shrugs* Nothing more than that. I desired to read about myself, then I decided that I did not like what I was seeing. When I asked to have it deleted from the records, my request was denied. *snorts*
Jenna: I see.. *shrugs at him and leans closer* So, all that you read about while I was asleep was yourself, hm? Egocentric mean anything to you? *Give him a wry grin, somewhat because she’s certain that her vacinity to him must be troubling him and somewhat because she is having fun teasing him*
Sephiroth: *grunts and shakes his head* No. I learned about this island’s history while you were asleep also. Your computer showed me the extensive history of the island, right up to the point where everything was wiped out by the evil force that came.
Jenna: *cocks her eyebrow, but she doesn’t say anything. Quite honestly, she doesn’t want to discuss the events that had occurred on this island in the past. The pain of that experience is still fresh enough in her mind that it hurts to even think about it. So, she just stands up and moves into the closet. Seph would have noticed that her expression darkened as soon as he mentioned the massacre.*
Sephiroth: *notices Jenna’s darkened expression as she moves away, but doesn’t investigate further as he does not care enough about the subject to ask. Instead he averts his attention away from her, not wanting to see her get naked again before she changes into her clothes*
Jenna: *puts a clean version of her armor on, not saying a single word. Once her clothing is properly on her body, she walks out of the closet and toward the stairs* Thank you for your help earlier, but there are things that I should attend to now. Entertain yourself with.. whatever. *even though she is speaking to him, she is not bothering to look at him. Also, there is next to no emotion to her voice. However, if Seph paid close attention to her, he’d notice that there is a slight angered strain to her voice. Once she is done speaking to him, she rushes up the stairs and moves outside*
Sephiroth: *watches Jenna leave and loudly snorts at her attitude, assuming he has offended her, muttering to himself* Pheh… I wonder what the hell her problem is. *folds his arms and watches her move up the stairs and shakes his head in irritation*
Jenna: *continues moving away from the base, intending to visit the location where her commerades had died all those years ago. She doesn’t care that she may have insulted Sephiroth, so she doesn’t bother to contact him at the moment*
Centra: If I may speak again, I can explain.
Sephiroth: *grunts and glances up, trying to determine where Centra’s voice is coming from* Where the hell are you? *snorts* You must have speakers placed in every room or something. *slowly shakes his head* What do you want? Hmph, explain what, exactly?
Centra: Afirmative. I have systems interlaced in all rooms within this complex. It allows me to assist whereever my assistance is needed. Only rooms which have fallen in due to dillapitation are disconnected from my central core. As for what I can explain, it was you who inquired what Jenna’s problem is. I have had much experience with her and I can fullly explain all her problems.
Sephiroth: *snorts* You know her problem? Go ahead and explain it then, this should be interesting. For a computer that doesn’t seem to care, you seem awfully interested in talking with me.
Centra: *activates a holographic projector which appears near the bed. Once the hologram is active, Centra begins to show Sephiroth a psychological profile for Jenna* You spoke to her about the destruction of 11,736 members of Halcyon. She doesn’t like talking about it. To the best of my abilities, she has shown signs of blaming herself for the event and even has nightmares about it. It is not wise to talk to her about that day.
Sephiroth: Very well, I won’t talk to her about it again. *glances at the holographic projection and shakes his head* If she didn’t do anything, then she should not blame herself. That is rather stupid to do so. There is nothing she can do about it either way, so why bother?
Centra: Well, if it is your desire to assist her in moving past her problems. Then I suppose the best course of action is to speak to her about it and be compassionate. However, the files on you indicated that such actions are not your forté. *the hologram actually shows two different psychological profiles. One is from when Jenna was completely out of her mind in the past, then the other is her current profile*
Sephiroth: *frowns* Why would I speak to her about something like that? It is none of my business. *grunts and shakes his head* Besides, I do not talk about things like that, you are correct. If she does not want to talk about it, then that is her own decision.
Centra: May I inquire soemthing? If you do not care so much? Why have you asked to read her files and are currently reading her psychological profile. One who does not care would not have bothered even looking at this information. Your words and actions are not matching.
Sephiroth: They were accessable to me, and they were something to read. There was not much more motive beyond that. *shrugs* Why, were you expecting a better answer?
Centra: According to my data, you are not the type of man to do something simply because you have nothing better to do, Mister Sephiroth. Your answer does not match up to the profile that was given to you by ShinRa. They stated that you were always focussed and work-oriented.
Sephiroth: *grunts* That much is true. *shrugs* I was just curious to learn more about this strange female whom had decided to save me from my fate. That is all. Is there anything wrong with the persuit for knowledge?
Centra: It is not within my programming perameters to judge. However, I must inquire if you are only in the pursuit of knowledge, why have you slept in the same bed as her? Is that a typical human behavior?
Sephiroth: It was either the bed, or the floor. If I had another option, I probably would have taken it. The female also placed me on this bed when I was first brought in here, so it seems she has no issues with me sleeping beside her in this bed. There is room enough for two of us. And she is definitely not the first person I have slept alongside before.
