Jenna: *mumbles* Indeed. Of course, that is what I planned until you forced me to stop in the infirmary. *Shakes her head at him then reaches up to touch a number of symbols caved into the head of the bed. By touching these symbols and making them briefly light up, a healing spell is activated. Soon, she closes her eyes and begins to drift asleep. As for books, Sephy would be hard pressed to find any that would keep his interest. However, there is a small hand-held computer on Jenna’s night-stand which connects to Centra. If he were to ask her, the computer can bring up a nearly infinite database of printed materials for Seph to read*
Sephiroth: *sighs with boredom and lies back on the bed. He frowns as he feels a mild tingly feeling from the healing spell, quickly shrugging it off. He relaxes out on the bed and closes his eyes, soon drifting off to sleep*
Jenna: *shivers as a bad dream hits and begins to softly speak in her sleep. During this time, she winds up twisting about to face Sephiroth and eventually presses herself up against him for shelter without realizing it. Soon after she snuggles up against him, she calms down and returns to silently sleeping. She would stay like this until she wakes unless Seph were to shove her away*
Sephiroth: *is asleep for the time being, and so he doesn’t notice her. He doesn’t react to the contact in his sleep and continues to nap, his sleep undisturbed*
Jenna: *groans as she begins to stir and presses herself up against Seph even more. Despite the fact that she is nearing wakefulness, she is not quite awake yet. Also, the top of her head is likely to bump against the bottom of Seph’s chin*
Sephiroth: *grunts slightly, roused by the movement. He frowns as he notices that Jenna is sleeping very close to him, and he sits up, edging away from her* Watch where you are going. This bed was more than big enough to accomadate both of us.
Jenna: *Groans at Seph’s movements and slowly opens her eyes. She blinks as she tries to figure out what he’s saying then sits upright herself* Huh? *looks over at him* How do I know that you did not move over to me? *snorts and scoots away from him in turn*
Sephiroth: *makes a loud snort at her and growls* I do not move in my sleep. You moved over here. You were over that side of the bed and you moved over. Do not even bother trying to deny it, you know damn well where you settled down.
Jenna: *crosses her arms and scowls at Sephiroth* And did you see me do that? *Snorts* It was you who said that I looked lonely. How do I know that you didn’t move me in order to make me not feel so lonely. *scowls and turns her back to him. Since her outfit is still slashed from Clawina’s attack, the bandages would be visible. They are dark red and there are still small signs of bleeding*
Sephiroth: *glares at her back and snorts* Fine, I’ll move onto the floor… *shuffles off the bed and sits down on the floor beside it, folding his arms, leaning his back against it. After a few moments of silence though, he subtly glances back at her* You should resume resting.
Jenna: *looks down at him, a frown appearing on her lips. She remains silent as she stares at him for a few moments. Then, she releases a deep sigh and holds out her hand to him* You do not need to do that.. *shakes her head* You can stay on the bed and be comfortable. I did not mean to move over to you if that is what actually happened.
Sephiroth: *grunts slightly* Make up your mind. *moves to sit back down on the edge of the bed, but doesn’t edge any closer to her. He leans forward and runs a hand over his face and through his hair, sighing*
Jenna: I never once told you to get off the bed, Seph. That was your own idea. So, my mind has been made up from the beginning. *grumbles* And, for the record, I’m still not lonely. *snorts then lies down on the bed with her back facing Sephers. Even though she’s lying down, she is not about to go back to sleep yet*
Sephiroth: *slowly shakes his head at her in disbelief* I don’t care if you’re lonely or not – it was just an assumption based on observation. Why does it bother you so much? If it didn’t, you wouldn’t keep bringing it up. *sits crosslegged on the bed with his back to Jenna and closes his eyes, beginning to breathe slowly and meditate*
Jenna: *glances over her shoulder at him and then tilts her head out of curiousity. She studies his stance for a few minutes then sits upright* What are you doing? *scoots a bit closer to him and waves her hand infront of his face*
Sephiroth: *”What am I doing? Effectively, lowering my heart rate, and my blood pressure. Relaxing. It feels quite calming and pleasant to do this every so often. If you are unfamiliar with what it is and how to do it properly, I suppose I can demonstrate. It will take your mind off the pain, relax you, and may help you heal faster.”*
Jenna: *frowns and shakes her head* No thanks. I stay calm enough as is. *snorts in aggitation* I never would have taken you to be in the type for zen beliefs and whatnot. *lies back down and sighs* Anyway, I’ve suffered much worse injuries than this in the past. This is simply a scrape in comparison to what the true danger could do… *frowns as she thinks of the snake*
Sephiroth: *slowly nods his head* I’ve nearly died a few times in battle. I’ve got my fair share of scars to prove that. The worst battle injury I ever sustained cut into my stomach and liver. I survived it, healed up, and subsequently led my batallion on to win the war.
Jenna: *mumbles* Trust me, I have suffered much worse than you can imagine. *curls up and frowns. She doesn’t particularly want to get into the details of what she has to suffer through each day while bonded, so she remains silent after that. After a few moments, she closes her eyes and begins to drift back to sleep. Her breathing shallows as she allows herself to drift from conciousness. In addition, the healing spell activates once more, sending waves of energy across the bed*
Sephiroth: *continues to relax and meditate, slowly breaking out of it when he feels the waves of energy across the bed. He opens his eyes to look around, wondering what it is. He sees nothing immediately however, which only rises his curiousity further. He moves off the bed and begins looking around for materia, or any other likely object that could be activating the magic*
Jenna: *begins to shiver in her sleep and loudly mutter. It will become rather clear that she is not having a good dream. She curls up even tighter, moving into a near fetal position. Her mumbling continues and becomes even more paniced as her dream continue*
Meanwhile, the symbols carved onto the head of the bed are lit up with a soft orange-red light. These symbols are the channeling points for the healing spell. If Sephiroth were to look through Jenna’s drawers, he’d find several items that are less than usual and some that are magicly endowed.
Sephiroth: *moves some of the bedcovers up and pokes at the carved runes, wondering what is making them glow. He does not do this for very long however, and sits up again, glancing over at Jenna. He moves onto the bed and shakes her shoulder* What are you doing? Wake up. You are having a bad dream.
Jenna: *whimpers and lowers her head. She compresses her body in even further to make a tighter ball. Also, she releases a soft whine, but she refuses to wake up* No.. Didn’t mean to… *a few stray tears escape from her eyes*
Sephiroth: *loses his patience and sharply shakes her shoulder* You didn’t mean to do what? Wake up. Now. *snarls and moves over her, shaking her shoulder quite roughly, more than likely moving her a bit along with it*
Jenna: *Groans as she’s shaken. Then, her eyes snap open as Seph becomes more rough with her and she jumps upright. Nearly as soon as she’s sitting upright again, she hisses in pain and leans back toward the bed again* What are you doing? *her right eye mildly twitches due to the pain coursing through her back. She reaches back to rub her lower back* I was sleeping like you suggested.
