Clawina: *scoffs at Sephiroth’s description of her and begins to laugh* Monster? Of course you humans would say something like that. As I said, I am divine royalty, choosen by my god to lead my people. Oh no, I think it is your race who are the monsters. And I do not live here. Now, be gone. *moves closer to Jenna* The female and I have buisness to discuss, do we not?
Jenna: *snorts at Clawina and turns her back to her* You are just a zealot, feline. As for your last operations base, it was not my fault that you set it up near a river where it could be easily flooded out. Perhaps you should just think smarter. *frowns at Sephiroth* ~Get out of here.~
Sephiroth: *”How about, no.”* *remains out of the way, but still fairly closeby as he does not like Clawina’s prescence at all. He also fairly quickly determines her to be an enemy and he wants to observe how she behaves*
Jenna: *hisses in annoyance at Sephiroth’s stubbornness* ~What the fuck do you think that you’re doing?! There is no point in you staying around!~ *yelps as Clawina, who had taken advantage Jenna’s moment of distraction, unsheathes her sword and tries to slash off Jenna’s head. Luckily for Jenna, she responds fast enough to leap out of the way* I am not in the mood for your shit, feline.
Clawina: *Angrily snorts as Jenna dodges her strike and repositions her sword in preparation for another strike* Shit is not something that I deal with, human. I have grown weary of your persistent interference. *rotates the blade so that it is angled parallel with the ground rather than at a right angle to the ground. Then she lunges forward once more and tries to slash open Jenna from the shoulder to the naval. Unfortuantely, the sorceress dodges once more*
Sephiroth: *just remains out of the way and loudly snorts in annoyance* *”That’s what you think. I don’t want to distract you further, so actually concentrate on your opponent. But there are things that can be learned through observation. Also…”* *uses his telekinetic abilities in an attempt to freeze Clawina’s feet in place, then he attempts to yank them out from under her*
As Sephiroth attempts to trip Clawina with his psychic abilities, another entity makes a move to interfere. Thus, Sephiroth’s psychic attack is blocked by what feels like a powerful black surge of power and energy. Sephiroth would feel as if there were someone glaring directly at him, even though there is no visible indications of such. Also, his original attack would be deflected back at him.
Jenna: *scowls at Sephiroth’s persistence, but choses to ignore him. So, she continues to dodge Clawina’s strikes, not quite wanting to get in range of the cat’s spikes qutie yet. So, instead of retalliating, she constantly moves back and does her best to stay out of harm’s way* Enough, feline, I am not in the mood.
Clawina: *growls at Jenna’s persistence and continues trying to slash her open* Stay still, pathetic human worm.
Sephiroth: *growls in anger as his attack is blocked, and he looks around as if to find the culprit. Before he can find much however, he is flung back and crashes down onto his back. He sits up again and loudly snarls*
Jenna: *is distracted from her fight with Clawina as she spots Sephiroth fall back and whips around to face him* ~What happ-~ *hisses in pain when Clawina takes her moment of inattentiveness for granted and slashes her back. She stumbles forward a few steps and groans in pain*
Clawina: *broadly grins, more than content that she has Jenna in a vulnerable position* Yes, fall. I hope this time you stay dead. *kicks Jenna in the side and then shoves her onto her back before positioning her sword so that it’s ready to be slammed straight into the sorceress’s chest*
Seferia: ~This is not your fight. Stay out of it.~ *is still in the shadows that Clawina had stepped out of. However, her white hair would be a bit visible, giving away her location*
Sephiroth: *loudly snarls* *”And sit here while she gets beaten up? We were talking, at least until we were rudely interrupted. So how about you stay out of it by leaving!?“* *snarls and gets to his feet once again, then charges at Clawina, leaping out to tackle her*
Clawina: *her ears tilt in Sephiroth’s direction once he starts moving. So, she turns her head to look directly at him, however, he tackles her before she has the chance to slash out at him. She loudly growls as she’s thrown onto the ground due to Seph’s weight and angrily glares at him* How dare you. *presses her knee spikes upward and prepares to slam them into his chest* Get off, putrid and disgusting ape.
Jenna: *Groans in pain and frowns as she notices what Seph has done* What…? Why… *shakes her head, deciding now is not the time for answers and slowly pushes herself up off the ground* Get away from her. You’re too close.
Sephiroth: *snorts* I’m not an ape. *promptly springs back from Clawina before he can be spiked, then he heads towards Jenna, grabbing her up. He leaps into the air and begins to fly away from Clawina rather quickly*
Clawina: Mwrrr… *growls and then snaps her head in Seferia’s direction* Let us head back home. I will take care of the female at some later point in time.
So, not long after Sephiroth departs from the fight’s location, a large black dragon leaps up into the air. Clawina is pearched on the dragon’s back, but the two of them do not bother chasing after Sephiroth. Instead, the dragon climbs up into the air and turns to fly away to the Southeast.
Jenna: *blinks and stares up at Sephiroth* Why are you doing this…? I don’t understand. *slowly shakes her head*
Sephiroth: *snorts as he carries Jenna out of the area, heading back for the base* Do you think I would stand aside with such uneven ridiculous odds like that? You were going to get beaten either way. That ridiculous looking cat had backup as well.
Jenna: *calmly speaks* I am an immortal, what does it matter if she actually stabs me or not.. *Shakes her head* As for her backup, I knew about Seferia. That one wouldn’t have interfered though. It is part of their credence. Clawina does not like having help unless she calls for it, so Seferia would have remained to the side unless her queen was about to be killed.. *looks up at Sephiroth* You still haven’t answered my main question. Why did you help? Why did you even care what happened to me… I don’t understand.
Sephiroth: I already answered your question – I explained why I helped. Isn’t that a good enough answer for you? *flies over the entrance to the base, then softly lands, placing Jenna back down on the ground* You’re safe now.
Jenna: *Slowly shakes her head* Your explanation doesn’t fit… I don’t understand why you bothered not wanting to stand aside. You haven’t seemed to care that much about me yet, and you have never been the type to risk your neck for just anyone.. So, it doesn’t make sense.. *groans in pain and slowly gets to her feet. She is clearly in a large bit of pain due to the slash on her back. So, she stumbles as she stands up*
Sephiroth: *grunts* You said before, that I will be free here. Clearly, I owe you a debt. Thus, I need to repay it. And so I have just now. So now we’re even, wouldn’t you agree? *glances at the wound on her back* Perhaps you should go to the infirmary.
Jenna: *mumbles* I need no debts to be repaid from you. All that I desire is that you enjoy your freedom. *glances back at him* Anyway, the feline is not the one who holds me captive. *snorts then stumbles away into the base. She moves slowly due to the pain in her back*
Sephiroth: *watches Jenna stumble for a moment, then moves over to support her, scowling* Walk along with me. Lower your head and watch my steps if you have to. *leads Jenna back into the base and down the stairs, heading for the infirmary, being rather slow about it*
Jenna: *at first, Jenna stares at Sephiroth, uncertain of what to do with his offer of help. However, she soon decides to lean against his side and accept his assistance* Thank you, Seph.. I still don’t understand though. *looks up at his face* You never gave others this much concern in the past, even when you were a general. This simply does not fit with your prior behavior patterns at all. *slowly shakes her head* Why are you doing this for me?
Sephiroth: I already explained it to you twice. *narrows his eyes at her* Let’s just say we’re even now, and leave it at that. Now, stop asking me. *grunts and leads her to the infirmary area* There.
Jenna: *mumbles* You have barely explained anything as far as I’m concerned.. *shakes her head and frowns as she looks up at the infirmary* I’m fine, I do not need medical assistance, Seph. *moves away from him so that she can turn around and move out of the room. She leans against the wall and slowly moves away*
Sephiroth: You don’t need medical assistance? Oh, so that gash on your back was acquired from painting a room in dark red? *snorts* Sit on the table and lie on your side.
Jenna: *grumbles* I’ll be fine. Thank you for your concern… *Shakes her head and continues to walk away from the infirmary. However, it is quite clear that she can’t stand on her own and that she is heavily relying on the wall for support* I just need rest, that’s all…
Sephiroth: *snorts and moves over to grab her arm* Stop being such a proud idiot. Hop up on the table and lie down. I am a certified first aid attendant. I’ve been around wounds probably much longer than you have. Now shut up and get on. *points to the table, glaring at her*
Jenna: *Scowls as Sephiroth grabs her arm and narrows her eyes at him* I highly doubt that you’ve spent more time than I. But if this matters so much to you. *does her best to jerk her arm out from his grip and limps over to the table. *From there, she takes off her cape and tosses it at him. Then, she removes her gloves, gently setting them down on the table, before sliding off the top part of her armor, of which she does not wear underwear beneath. If Seph were paying attention, he’d notice that Jenna’s bare hands are trembling once more. She also slips off the belt that gives her armor the illusion of being one piece as well as lowers her pants a bit.* Happy now? *leans against the table*
