Sephiroth: You are right, the books in your library, or at least the majority of them, are useless. *follows Jenna up the stairs and scowls as he moves into the room full of electronics* Why the hell would you want to build machines? You’re here by yourself, they don’t really have much functional usage. Not unless you plan to take one of the vehicles outside and ride around in it for cheap thrills. And you do not seem like the type to do so.
Jenna: *chuckles at Sephiroth* Where did I say that I was building vehicles. I said machines, weaponry, AIs, and the like. Like her. *Points over to MS, who is standing in the back of the room, conducting her normal sweeps of the area. The mechanical being, who outwardly looks very organic pays no attention to Jenna nor Sephy and continues to scan the area. She eventually turns to face them since they are standing in the only way out*
Sephiroth: *narrows his eyes at MS, then steps out of it’s way* I don’t understand why you would want to build weaponry either. You already have a lot of it – what the hell do you need more for? *snorts* Unless you’re planning to wage war against something. I don’t know how you plan to do that, however.
MS: *Brushes past Sephiroth, unconcerned about the fact that he is standing in her way. He’d be able to hear the whirling of machinery inside of her that makes her move.*
Jenna: *Frowns at Sephiroth* I do it because I can. Am I expected to do nothing with my time? *Shakes her head* It is just something I do to pass time. Say what you may about it, but that is what I do.. And perhaps one day I will need to wage war… *shakes her head and walks out of the room. From there, she climbs to the next level and stop infront of a cooridor that leads to both the infirmary and the cloning lab* If you ever get injured. This is the infirmary. You can help yourself, ask me, or have Centra take care of your wounds.
Sephiroth: Waging war by yourself… *follows her out of the room and into the infirmary* A war with mechanics and no lives involved is a game of battles, not a war. It takes real people to make a war. *looks around the infirmary* I don’t plan to be injured any time soon, but I will make a note of this room.
Jenna: Sometimes, it is best to go on your own… Especially when the masses would do no good. *shakes her head and deeply sighs. She glances over at the cloning lab as she notices movement within. Then, she frowns since Kerash has walked out of the room and would likely give Sephiroth a clear view of the room within while the doors are still open.*
Kerash: *narrows her eyes at the sight of Sephiroth, eying him for several minutes in order to determine what he is there for. One eye is still organic for the most part, but the other eye is purely mechanical. Sephiroth will have a clear view of the mortal wounds along her neck that tell of the raptor having been sliced wide open. Also, the majority of her body is a mixture of mechanics and organics. Eventually, Kerash snorts, though some of the air makes a hiss as it escapes from the gouge in her neck and grumbles under her breath* “Another mate for you, human?”
Jenna: *tires to ignore Kerash and turns to face Sephiroth* I should hope that you do not get injured soon either. You look like the type who should be capable of taking care of yourself.
Sephiroth: *also sees movement and subtly peers into the cloning lab area. He watches Kerash move about then snorts as he watches her, assuming she is growling at him. He glances back to Jenna once again* I am more than capable of caring for myself. I am entirely self sufficient, and if you had left me outside on the island, I more than likely would have made an establishment for myself before too long.
Jenna: *scowls at Kerash and hotly responds in her native toungue* “No, this one is not a mate of mine. I do not always think of sex, Kerash.” *snorts then turns her attention back to Sephy* For someone who is so self-sufficient, you certainly clung onto you “mother” as soon as you found her. *shakes her head* I do not believe you about the establishment either. All of your establishments to date have been given willingly by the Shin-Ra copropration.
Kerash: *shakes her head at Jenna then stalks past Sephy’s back. She doesn’t care that her tail may come dangerously close to smaking into the back of Sephy’s head*
Sephiroth: *hears the swishing noise of Kerash’s tail and promptly moves out of the way, growling* Watch yourself. *snorts* Feh, I am self sufficient. I only followed Jenova because I thought there was something in it for me. Obviously not, but… *shrugs* I spent time by myself in the Northern Cave. I know how to take care of myself if needed.
Jenna: *Shakes her head at Sephiroth* Time spent being frozen in a materia gem does not count as “time by myself”. *frowns at Kerash* Do not mind her. She does not favor humans too much and she favors her second lease on life even less. *returns her attention to Sephiroth, staring directly into his eyes. If he paid attention, he’d notice that her eyes momentarily change shape from humanoidly round, to reptilllian, back to a human shape again* Was there anything else in this level that you’d like me to explain?
Sephiroth: *snorts* I did not mean the time I spent in stasis when I was encased in the Materia. *scowls back at Jenna, scowling further as he notices her eyes change* No, if there is no more of importance to see, then I will be on my way.
Jenna: *tilts her head as she observes Sephiroth’s current behavior. She seems a bit perplexed as she examines him* What’s wrong with you? I have done nothing to insult you or cause you need to be defensive. I only stated that there is evidence to state that you have never truly taken care of yourself. You were Shin-Ra’s most valuable asset afterall. So, what did I do to make you angry? And why did you give me that look?
Sephiroth: You insinuated that I don’t know how to take care of myself, and that others I had come in contact with in the past had taken care of me. You don’t know of everything I have done in the past, so you cannot make a judgement like that. *grunts* And I looked at you like that because your eyes changed. What is wrong with them?
Jenna: *blinks and stares at Sephiroth for a moment* My eyes changed? Changed what? Changed color? It was probably the light if that is the case. Or a shift in angle. I do not understand what you mean though by “my eyes changed”… *shrugs to herself*
Sephiroth: They changed from a human’s to an animal’s, then back again. *snorts* You’re a shapeshifter of some kind, aren’t you.
Jenna: I was not casting any spells at that moment that would make me change shape, no. *shakes her head* As for my eyes changing shape like that… You must have been seeing things. I may be a mage, but I am a human and humans don’t have eyes that turn animalistic. *shakes her head at him then steps away. She moves into the starewell before contemplating where to go*
Sephiroth: *snorts* You think I am making it up? I didn’t imagine it. Your eyes changed, I would swear that on my life. *grunts in annoyance and follows her into the stairwell* What other interesting things do you have to show me now?
Jenna: *grumbles as she hears Sephiroth’s statement* Maybe you thought you did, but it most certainly had to have been the lights playing tricks on you. I do not have eyes that change shape. Maybe coloration, but not shape. *shakes her head then blinks and turns around to face Sephiroth as she realizes that he asked her where she was going to show him next* I thought you were finished with this tour? What else do you want to see? There isn’t much else of interest around here.
Sephiroth: Ah, very well. *nods his head, then turns away from her, heading for the stairs once more* Thank you for the tour. It was most informative, and I will take care to remember where things are. More importantly, I will take care of things that do not belong to me. *heads down the stairs and into Jenna’s quarters, intending to make use of her hot spring*
Jenna: *Cocks her eyebrow at Sephiroth’s words* ~You will take care of things that do not belong to you? Are you trying to indicate that you are going to attempt stealing from me? If you are making such plans, I’d highly suggest to end them now. Centra shall not permit such activities.~ *she doesn’t really care that Sephiroth has not been introduced to the super-computer nor that he has no means of knowing what it is capable of. She snorts in irritation then walks upstairs a bit and enters a storage room. This room is filled with all the items, whether it be expensive, pointless, or magical, that Jenna had stolen throughout the years*
Sephiroth: *snorts* *”No. I meant to say that I will treat objects that are not mine with respect. You completely misunderstood the context of what I was saying.”* *walks into the spring area, then closes the door, making sure it is shut and secure, before he strips down and walks into the spring, sighing as he relaxes, enjoying the sensation of the heated water soaking into his skin*
Jenna: ~My appologies then. You are right, I did misunderstand what you meant. Forgive my lack of perfect knowledge in your language.~ *takes some time to examine all the objects and eventually decides that she is comfortable with the way things are placed and that nothing has been lost. So, she steps out of the room and walks outside. Soon, she is sitting on the edge of a beach and watching the tide move in and out*
Sephiroth: *”You’re forgiven. Just don’t do it again. I hate being misunderstood, it is a rather big annoyance.”* *remains in the spring for some time, relaxing on the heated rocks nearby. He closes his eyes and drifts into a mild state of sleep, though it is light and he would easily be woken from it if disturbed*
Jenna: *eventually becomes calmed enough to desire to return to the base. She glances around the horizong for a moment, looking for any signs of danger. Then, she nods to herself and turns around to return home. Soon, she walks into the hot springs, having noticed that Sephiroth is still there. She tilts her head, noticing that Sephiroth is asleep. So, she walks up to his backside and nudges his shoulder with her boot* Hey, how long have you been sleeping there? This is not the place to spend hours upon hours in.
Sephiroth: Hmm…? *opens his eyes and glances back at her, loudly growling as he notices her. He backs up in the water and retreats to the deeper parts of the spring, moving his hands to cover his genitals* What the hell do you want? Why did you come here? And why didn’t you knock first? I closed the damn door. *snorts*
