Jenna: Hrmph, it’s not like I’m raking a barbed wire against your chest. *shakes her head at him and moves to sit down once more* And I don’t particularly feel like exploring this planet right now. As I said, I just wanted to get away. *closes her eyes, quite intent on staying put*
Sephiroth: Hmph… *moves to sit down on the bed nearby her* Well, I answered your question. What are you going to do now, just sit there and continue to glare at the wall like you were doing before? That doesn’t sound very entertaining if you ask me. *folds his arms*
Jenna: *glances up at him then reaches behind him, gently brushing her hand though his hair, somewhat rubbing his back as she does such* No, you are correct. That wouldn’t be entertaining. *softly speaks* What would you prefer for me to do with the knowledge of your answer?
Sephiroth: You can do whatever you want with it, just don’t throw it in my face or make fun of it. *scowls and slowly shakes his head* Weren’t you incredibly angry with me before? As in, just a short time ago? *seems confused* If so, why are you doing this now? *nods to the arm behind him currently*
Jenna: Hrmph.. *glances away from him* You basically apologized, so there is no reason to remain angry with you. Anyway… *frowns, debating something with herself. Then, softly speaks* I was mostly angry with you because.. well.. I think I might love you.. And your accusation was quite.. Nevermind. *Snorts, giving up*
Sephiroth: Pardon me? *stiffens, seeming rather taken aback by her comment. He just sits there for a couple of minutes as he tries to process the information, and the thought* That is… *pauses, frowning as he thinks about what to say* …preposterous. Nobody could ever love me. *scowls*
Jenna: *faintly smirks at Seph* Well, then perhaps it’s good that I technically have no name. Hence, one could say that I am “no body”. *continues to brush her fingers through his hair, not quite looking at him for the moment*
Sephiroth: Hmph… I didn’t say that at all… *closes his eyes, seeming to enjoy what Jenna is doing for now. He leans in towards her and relaxes, beginning to purr once again after a couple more moments*
Jenna: *glances over at him as she hears him purr then slowly shakes her head* Sounds like that will have to be something that you’ll need to learn to live with. *softly sighs* I’m sorry that I left you stuck with that habit…
Sephiroth: *opens his eyes again* You said it would go away again, right? *frowns* I don’t want to be a purring twit forever. *thinks* Maybe it’s a remnant left over from the last transformation and I did not return to my formal self properly. *tenses, not liking what he is about to say* Can you try turning me into the feline, and back again? Maybe it will go away.
Jenna: *frowns* It was only a hope that it’d go away, Seph.. I honestly don’t know what happened to you. Still, if that is what you want. *closes her eyes and concentrates. Soon after, she turns him into a the half-feline form* Well, that’s step one… *opens her eyes to look at him*
Sephiroth: *nods his head* Just for a few minutes to see if– *hisses slightly as he changes forms and shapeshifts back into the feline form, squeezing his eyes shut, not seeming to like the feeling at all. When he opens his eyes again, he looks down at his hands, frowning* That is step one. How long do I have to stay like this before I can be safely turned back with no ill-effects?
Jenna: Considering that I have managed to always shift between the draconic form I use and back again without any ill affect all the time.. *sighs* I can’t recall ever doing it for less than five minutes. It would make no sense to do something for less time than that. So, I’ll turn you back in a few minutes. *shakes her head* I still don’t understand why anything happened to you when nothing ever happens to me.
Sephiroth: *shakes his head, swaying his tail in his annoyance* I don’t understand it either. *grunts* At all… *frowns in thought, scowling in the process* Maybe you have done it so much that it doesn’t matter. Or maybe something already happened to affect you.
Jenna: *narrows her eyes at him* Oh, so now you’re saying that I act like a dragon all the time? *snorts at him then shakes her head* This should be enough time… *concentrates on canceling the spell on Sephy, soon changing him back to a human* Do you feel “normal” again?
Sephiroth: *seems amused despite Jenna’s anger* I’m not sure if answering that at all would be safe. *shakes his head as Jenna changes him back again, glancing down at his hands, and then the rest of his current form* No, I don’t feel any different. I didn’t feel any different when you turned me into the cat. Everything just looked and sounded different. *Snorts*
Jenna: *Shrugs at him* Well, if you have the urge to clean yourself by licking, you’ll know that much went wrong. *shakes her head then moves her hand behind him and begins to massage his lower back once more. She watches him, curious to know whether or not he’ll purr yet again*
Sephiroth: *looks at her, seeming disgusted* You have to be out of your mind. I’m not about to lick myself. I never had any such urges when I was a cat, either. *snorts and glares at her for a few moments, soon calming down again. As Jenna massages his back, he slowly relaxes more and more, soon in a relaxed enough state to resume his purring all over again*
Jenna: *initially chuckles at Seph’s reaction and shakes her head* It was only a suggestion. *narrows her eyes* Though I would think that you would be the one who would be the expert on being “out of your mind”. *shrugs and continues to massage his back then sighs* It sounds like that will have to be something you’ll need to live with, Seph.
Sephiroth: Can you say the same thing of yourself and being out of your mind? *scowls, offended* I don’t want to live with it. Hmph… but at least it’s not a major personality change or something. *scowls further, seeming annoyed with the idea*
Jenna: *narrows her eyes a small bit then glances to the side* I do not have a clue what you are trying to hint at. Do I look insane to you? *looks back at him* And yes, it at least isn’t something that will likely come up all that often. Hrmph, in fact, I don’t think you’d publicly ever get comfortable enough to make that noise, consciously or not. *glances down at the bed* By the way, what I had began to mention well before was.. well, if you lie down on your stomach on a flat surface, I can give you what is considered to be a proper massage.
Sephiroth: *scowls back at her* Well, do I look insane to you? I had one episode of such, and that is all. Every other time I have been level headed, and fine. *snorts and shakes his head* As for the massage, for the time being, I will be fine. It will put me to sleep, and I have no desire to do such at this time.
Jenna: *Shrugs at him then glances at the television in the room* And what lead you to believe that I have ever been insane or would have such knowledge in such? *decides to use a spell to turn on the television, soon flipping it to a news channel so she can get some impression of this planet aside from what she’s seen so far*
Sephiroth: I don’t know. You said it to me, it was kind of a comeback retort. *shrugs and shuffles over to sit beside her, eyeing the television* These things always feature nothing but rubbish and nonsense. The real way to learn about your territory is by immersing yourself into it. Preferrably disguised as the inhabitants of the area.
