Sephiroth: *sighs* You really don’t have any idea where you’re going, do you… *stumbles a bit as Jenna drags him along, then follows after her, a little unhappy with the situation in general*
Jenna: *Shrugs* Adventure, Seph. Knowing where you’re going leaves too little excitement behind… *stops and glances over him* Perhaps you should get your sword, at the least… *lets go of his hand*
Sephiroth: *grunts* Alright. Though I doubt we’re going anywhere that needs it. *teleports his sword to his hand, then shows it to her* Is that more to your liking now?
Jenna: *mutters* Best to have it and not use it than to need it and not have it. *she nods at Seph as he shows her the sword. She then continues up the stairs. Soon enough, she exits the base all together and begins to open up a portal. Once the portal is open, she grips onto Seph’s arm and drags him through it. Thus, they’d soon both land in the middle of a field. This field happens to be a part of the Eastern continent on the equivelent of Sephy’s planet. However, this is not Sephiroth’s nor Jenna’s universe.
Sephiroth: *lands rather abruptly on the other side of the portal, seeming rather aggitated at the landing itself. He gets to his feet and brushes himself off, grunting* Well, I suppose we won’t be able to hear Aeris’s complaints now. Though she would if she learned that we came here.
Jenna: *frowns at Seph’s words, a bit confused* Why would Aeris complain about us being here? *Shakes her head and looks around* This definitely doesn’t look like your planet. *shrugs* Not a bit of smog.. *shaking her head, she moves toward the nearest town that she spots* Come on, Seph.
Sephiroth: I said it because she would complain about not being able to go home. *narrows his eyes* The planet didn’t have much smog since the reactors were destroyed. But you are right – this place is less developed. It also… *glances down at his feet as tendrils of energy come up through the ground to caress him*
Jenna: *stops as she senses the energy. She then glances back at Seph then cocks her eyebrow* That seems quite strange… *Shakes her head and moves closer to Seph* This planet better not be planning on trying to kill you.
Sephiroth: I don’t think it’s trying to kill me. It… *freezes on the spot as one of the tendrils lovingly curls around his left leg* I think it wants to be nice to me. *springs into the air as the tendril rises higher, snarling* Get lost! *levitates several feet above the ground* We should go back.
Jenna: *Frowns at Seph* Please, stop that. It’s clearly not harming us, so we need not worry then. Just get back down here… This is supposed to be time for us to reform our relationship, not for you to be a jerk and think about your own discomfort first again..
Sephiroth: *sighs* Fine… *lands back down on the ground* What did you want to talk about? *frowns* You’re not going to blame me for everything are you? *kicks another tendril that nears him*
Jenna: *Shakes her head* No, this isn’t about blame, Seph. Not about blame at all.. *glances at him* Still, you repeated over and over again that you wanted to escape reality permanently and live in your dreams these last few months. Those thoughts… They were rather strong and rather recurrent. They couldn’t be just brush off as temporary insanity. *moves through the gateway to the town that she had spotted. She then blinks as she spots a rather extravagant church in the center of the town*
Sephiroth: Is that all this is about? We can go back, because I’ve already explained that to you in great detail. *frowns at her* We’ve gone through it. There’s nothing more we need to explain there. Anything else? *slows down as he follows her into the town, staring at the church also* What the hell?
Jenna: *Grumbles* You didn’t answer anything. *Shakes her head* Anyway, I still want time with you, alone, without the children interrupting us very ten minutes. *glances at the church once more then shrugs* I’d assume that is anything but hell, Seph. Usually, churches are not hell.
Sephiroth: Why did you pick this place? *grasps her hand and pulls her on past the church, heading for the houses in the town* Come on, let’s just move onwards… find an inn or something. *scowls at the church, not at all liking it’s large size in comparison to everything else*
*Several of the residents gasp as Sephiroth pass by. They also whisper to each other, wondering why Seph is out of his robes. A few may even try to approach him so that they can touch him*
Jenna: *Shrugs* It was a random choice, Seph. I thought you already knew that.
Sephiroth: *isn’t paying attention to Jenna any more and stares at the people coming near him. He bears his teeth and makes a threatening growl at the ones who come closer, then grasps Jenna’s hand and tries to hurry her along* *”What the hell are they staring at…?”*
Jenna: *glances around the area. She then follows the gazes of the people, determining them to be staring at Sephiroth* ~I would have to say that they’re staring at you, Seph. Though it doesn’t seem that they’re afraid of you. It’s much more like an adoring stare.~ *shrugs then hisses as someone asks what Sephiroth is doing with a woman*
Sephiroth: *”Idiots. Why the hell would anybody want to do that? They must be from some stupid fan club. At least they’re not screaming at me to leave.”* *whacks the hands of another person that nears him and loudly snarls, bearing his teeth* Get lost!
Jenna: ~Yes, at least we’re not being run-out by a crazed spikey-headed blonde. I suppose this isn’t that bad.~ *opens the door for the inn for Seph. She then moves with him to the counter*
*Meanwhile, word of Sephiroth’s appearance in town travels far and wide, even to the church itself*
*the Sephiroth in the church seems rather displeased with the information he’s receiving and dismissively shrugs his shoulders* Probably another… townsfolk member trying to impersonate me. Go out and inspect it at once. Watch their activities. And then report back here to me. If it’s a huge problem, I can have him escorted in. *steps up off his throne to place scented oils in a nearby burner* Bring me some rose-hip tea. I thirst.
Sephiroth: *moves inside the inn, walking to the front counter himself* A room for two, plea– *frowns* *”He just said it’s free….”*
Jenna: *tilts her head as she looks over the man who told them that their room is gratis. She then moves closer to the counter* Are you most certain on that? You’re not about to give us your worst room, are you? *narrows her eyes, suspicious*
*the clerk is quick to snatch some keys off the top of the board, then hands them to Sephiroth* I-it’s the best room we have… I hope it’s to your liking…
Sephiroth: *narrows his eyes* *”Something is really wrong here. It may also be an idea to stop intimidating him.”*
Jenna: *tilts her head then shrugs* ~Very well, Seph. You take over then. I don’t know what’s up with these people.~ *she snorts and shakes her head* Might I ask.. why are you bending over backwards for us?
*the clerk simply bows his head, offering blessings and praise, not saying much else for now*
Sephiroth: *”What an idiot…”* *picks up the keys and reads the number off them, heading up the hallway so he can find the room* Come on, then. We might as well have a look at this thing before we decide that ‘free’ is worth staying.
