Sephiroth: *moves over to him, handing him the box and the instructions. She glances over at the second test and grunts* It’s going to have to wait. They both asked for a urine sample and I won’t be able to produce another for a while. *sits down on the edge of the bed with the first test, waiting on it*
Jenna: *he slowly nods his head* Understandable, Seph. I’d be rather concerned if you can constantly urinate. *he shakes his head at the very thought. Then, he glances over the instructions, trying to determine if Seph is doing anything wrong*
Sephiroth: *has followed the instructions to the letter, except for the last part, which is waiting for chemical reaction allowances. The test comments at the bottom that one should wait 10 – 20 minutes for best results* It’s still not doing anything… *sets the test down and picks up the second, reading over the instructions on that* This one is more or less the same thing… I don’t know what I did wrong.
Jenna: *glances at Seph. He then shakes his head* You just need to wait a bit longer, Seph. Be a bit more patient. *he sets the instructions to the side* It says that it could take up to twenty minutes for the results to show.
Sephiroth: *makes a loud irritated snort, turning her attention away* What a hassle… *places the test on the table, then lies down, scowling* I don’t want this. I didn’t ask for it. *scowls, frustrated* I don’t want to be pregnant…
Jenna: *glances down at Sephiroth. He then slowly nods at her* Yes, I know you don’t want it at all.. *he glances to the side then mutters* I’m sorry. *shrugging, he returns to reading over Seph’s journal entries*
Sephiroth: I don’t see how this is your fault. You didn’t turn me into a woman… *scowls and folds her arms, closing her eyes. She sits up again soon however, and grabs the pregnancy test components to look at them again, narrowing her eyes* Damn it.. *throws the test plastic onto the floor* Desiree wasn’t playing around.
Jenna: *softly mutters under his breath* I was the one who intiated you into having sex. So, I do have that much to be sorry about. *he looks at Seph as she throws the test down to the floor. Shaking his head, he sighs* So, you are pregnant? Did she say anything else? For that matter.. Why did she even check?
Sephiroth: I’m not even sure why she checked. Maybe she is sensitive in her abilities? *snorts in annoyance, shaking her head* Yes, unfortunately, I’m pregnant. *lies back down again* It isn’t entirely your fault. I could have said no.
Jenna: *slowly nods at Seph’s words. He then reaches out to gently rub the top of her head* Yes, I suppose that much is true. *shakes his head* The worst is yet to come. *looks down at her once more* Is there anything you want me to get you, my love?
Sephiroth: I don’t need anything for the time being… *tries to relax, snuggling under the covers* Wait a minute – what do you mean, ‘the worst is yet to come’? *glances up at him, looking particularly bothered* What have I got to watch out for?
Jenna: *glances down at Seph* You were with me when I was pregnant with Desiree. You should know full well all the things that I went through.. *sighs* Food cravings, mood swings, not to mention the enlarged abdomen. *frowns at the thought* Did Desiree say anything other than “you are pregnant”?
Sephiroth: No, she really didn’t say anything else. We spoke about you and about trusting you again, and she seemed to like staring off into space. After that she told me I was pregnant. That’s really pretty much all of it.
Jenna: *Slowly nods at Seph. He then moves in to cuddle next to her. Soon enough, he’d wrap his arms about her as he tries to pull her in toward him* Thank you for speaking positively in my behalf. I do appreciate that you care for me that much. *softly sighs* The girl likes staring into Space? That’s strange…
Sephiroth: She’s been doing it on and off for years, Jen. I’ve never asked her about it, but I just figured that it’s something she does. Like me, with my reading, and getting lost in books. It’s just something she does – that’s all there is to it. It’s not harming anyone so I’ve never discouraged it.
Jenna: Hmm… And you are certain that there’s nothing there when she does “stare into space”? *still frowns as he considers what Seph is telling him. He then sighs and nuzzles his nose against the back of Seph’s neck*
Sephiroth: *Slowly shakes her head* I really don’t know. I’ve never asked her. *pauses* Why? Why do you think it’s such a bad thing, Jen? *closes her eyes again, then begins to softly purr, grinning* What do you think about all this mess? I’m not sure if I want to deal with more small infants…
Jenna: I’m not certain as to what to think… *Sighs* Infants? You think that there will be more than one? *he lifts his head, becoming quite curious now*
Sephiroth: No. But with the first came more. And then I was dealing with three small children at once. And then I was doing that by myself… until others here decided to help. Somewhat… *seems rather unhappy with where the conversation is headed, and becomes quiet*
Jenna: *frowns then pulls Seph in close to him once more. He gives her a tight, reassuring hug* I promise, I won’t let that happen again… I’ll do everything in my power to never leave you ever again. Understand?
Sephiroth: *slowly nods her head, seeming to be accepting of his words. She releases a quiet sigh from her lungs, then tries to shift about and get comfortable in bed* Did you end up putting all that food away? The others are likely to raid it if you don’t hide the good stuff.
Jenna: Huh? The good stuff? What exactly was the “good stuff”? *tilts his head. He then shakes his head* I put away most of it.. Then, I came down here when you first got worked up, then I left to get you those treats and the tests, then I came back down here. So, either someone else put up the rest or.. *shrugs*
Sephiroth: *sighs and shakes her head* The junk food. If the male clone finds a bag of potato chips, he’ll eat the entire thing. He’s a glutton. *scowls* And a poor reflection of my genetics, let me tell you that.
Jenna: Hrmph, and here I thought he was just spoiled, Seph. *shakes her head* What makes you say that he’s a poor reflection? The fact that he’s mildly overweight?
