Sephiroth: What question? I said I don’t like to fail, no. What else were you asking apart from that? *sits up a bit so Jenna can properly clean him up* I told you why I was asking you to continue cleaning yourself. It was not giving up.
Jenna: *groans at Seph* I already said that this is not about who is cleaning who. My question was this, since you were clearly not listening properly: Do you not think that giving up before a task is even properly started at all is failing? Just answer the question, Seph.
Sephiroth: No, it’s not failing. How can you know if you’ve failed if you don’t even start the task? That logic is quite ridiculous. *snorts and shakes his head* Why are you asking such strange things? There’s a reason for it. I’ve said something. I just can’t work out what it is.
Jenna: Oh, so forfeiting on something and simply stating that “I can’t do it” does not equal admittance of default failure? *slowly shakes her head* I usually consider forfeiters to be quite the largest failures of all. *moves her hands to gently massage his sides as she continues to lather him up*
Sephiroth: I’m not forfeitting! *grunts sharply* What the hell are you saying this in reference to? The child-rearing issue? *is becoming quite frustrated with the conversation topic now*
Jenna: Well, aren’t you? *shrugs at him then hands then pulls away from him so that she can tend to her nether regions. Once she is done, she hands the soap over to Seph* You believe what Hojo would have said of you: that you would not be suitable. Do you want to prove Hojo correct, hm?
Sephiroth: *snorts* Hojo is an idiot and most everything he says has absolutely no merit whatsoever. *frowns at her* But please, stop talking about it and explain why this subject is coming up already.
Jenna: I am just giving you something to think over, Seph. You desire for me to go through what some females can classify as the most painful event of their lives. Perhaps, you should give more thought on the matter on your side before setting your heart to giving it away. *stands up, figuring that she’s done with the bath. She then looks around for some form of towel*
Sephiroth: It doesn’t have to be painful. There are medicines and medical proceedures that can be done to stop the pain. If you want assisted help or pain medicine during the birthing, it is a good idea to work it out beforehand, before the time arrives. *takes the soap and washes himself off* If you’re looking for a towel, there is an entire cupboard full on the opposite side of this room.
Jenna: *narrows her eyes at Seph* Might I remind you that your actual birth mother had full access to all of those yet she still died while giving birth to you, Seph. *loudly snorts* Anyway, what exactly qualifies you to be an expert on the subject as to how much the procedures you just listed help? *Shakes her head then moves to take one of the towels. She then begins to dry herself off*
Sephiroth: *spends a few extra moments cleaning himself, then moves out of the bath, pulling the plug out. He sits in the bath as the water drains, then he stands up, moving to the towel cupboard to retrieve a couple of them himself* I’m not an expert. I just suggested them as they are options for women to take during the birthing process. There’s no need to get unhappy for the fact I’m thinking of your wellbeing.
Jenna: *indifferently shrugs at Seph’s words* Just think over what I told you before, and not about the stupid doping me up with morphine idea. *shakes her head then moves over to their clothing. She quickly casts a spell to clean their clothes so they wouldn’t just stink anew when they got dressed. Then, she begins to pull her clothes on*
Sephiroth: *just casually dries himself off* I don’t even think morphine comes into it. *picks up his coat, frowning as he finds the giant hole is still in the back of it* While I appreciate the free air-conditioning when I get hot, I think I need a new one of these.
Jenna: *glances over at Seph and examines the coat* Hmm… Well, it’s not deteriorated like that other outfit of yours.. *narrows her eyes then attempts to cast a spell to restore the structuring of the coat as well as the leather. If it works, the coat would be almost like new*
Sephiroth: *seems pleased with the modifications and slowly nods his head in approval, admiring Jenna’s handiwork* This is quite good. Perhaps I should come to you for repair jobs instead of going to a tailor in future. *makes sure the towel is secure around his waist, then carries his clothing out of the bathroom, heading back up the hallway to the room he has been staying in previously*
Jenna: *chuckles and shakes her head at Seph* There’s only so many times that sort of spell can be cast, Seph. Also, if the damage was any worse.. It probably wouldn’t have worked. *quickly moves to follow him. She glances over at the members of Avalanche in the living space as she nears the area, but otherwise, doesn’t do much of anything else other than follow her mate*
Sephiroth: *once in the privacy of the room, he drops his clothing on the floor and resumes drying himself off properly* I’ve no doubt that I am in need of new clothing. I have the casual attire in Halcyon, but that is not here now, is it? *picks up his clothes once dry and begins to get changed*
Jenna: *chuckles at Seph’s words then circles around him, having already dressed in the bathroom* Well, some would say that you look much more handsome and sexy when you’re dressed like this. *smirks* At the very least, you’re more threatening and imposing. *moves behind him then gently brushes her fingers through his hair*
Sephiroth: How am I more ‘handsome and sexy’ while half dressed? *pulls on his coat, then he picks up his gloves and yanks them on, leaving his boots off for the time being* I really don’t understand. Are you talking about my outfit? *grins as she pets his hair*
Jenna: *softly chuckles at Seph’s question then shakes her head* Well, the entire Sephiroth package is very much “handsome and sexy”, whether he is clothed or not. However, I was referring to your clothing in specific. After all, you were saying that you want casual clothing.
Sephiroth: It can be more comfortable and cool than these clothes all of the time. *moves to sit down on the double futon mattress* You don’t like the casual clothing? *leans his back to the wall, then begins to remove some stuff from his subspace, such as his journal and a pen*
Jenna: *Shrugs* I can’t say that I prefer it, no.. *Slowly shakes her head* It just looks you appear more like a human, I suppose. *stops petting his hair as he moves. She soon moves to sit down next to him. Once settled, she rests her head against his right shoulder*
Sephiroth: What do you want me to appear to be like? *seems mildly confused as she sits down next to him. He picks up the journal and places it on the other side of him, hoping she won’t notice. He moves an arm around her and begins to gently purr*
Jenna: *softly speaks* I am quite content with you the way your are, Seph.. It just is strange whenever you dress like an average day human.. Especially with your hair color. *frowns* Seems to make you look older. *Shakes her head then whispers* For the record, I know that you’re writing in your journal. You don’t need to hide.
