Aeris: Breeding? *lightly pushes Cloud aside, then tries to open the door* Come on… its not fair to be stuck in there. Please let me get them out. We need them right now. *blinks at Sephiroth, then Jenna* I didn’t know you had wings. That must be pretty nice.
Jenna: *her wings fluff up as she glares at Aeris* Yes, I have wings. It’s of no importance. *slowly pushes herself up to her feet. This action would probably reveal the dried puddle of Seph’s blood that spilled when he had been killed before to Aeris. She then moves to Seph’s side* Just let us out of here*
GLaDOS: You should have listened to me. *several slots open up from the roof of the lab. Soon after, a number of turrets are lowered down to the floor*
Cloud: What the heck are those things…? *stares at the turrets as they are lowered onto the floor, then backs up when the sides open up, revealing the pellet guns inside of them* Everybody, get out of the way! *drops onto the ground, covering his head*
Aeris: *yelps and tries to fly up, becoming confused as she discovers she can’t use her abilties here due to the silencer Sesshou left earlier. She darts to the wall beside the cage and crouches, hoping not to be seen* No wonder I couldn’t sense you, Sephy… there’s something blocking all your energies here. I couldn’t sense your life energy because my sensing abilties wouldn’t pass into an area where it’s being blocked… *shakes the bars, pondering how best to get through*
*One of the turrets scans the area right in front of it with its red laser sight* Hello? Are you still there? *the other turrets also scan the area. In total, there are three that were dropped down*
Vincent: *Grunts and ducks behind a wall as well. He narrows his eyes as he watches one of the turrets, then he quickly fires at the “eye” area. Soon after, the turret he shot seems to scream and then begins to wildly fire before it shuts down all together. A “why??” can be heard from the machine as it shuts down completely*
Jenna: *eyes Aeris then snorts* You most certainly are not strong enough to break those bars, girl… *Shakes her head and scowls*
Sephiroth: *stares at the turret as it falls, loudly snorting in disgust at the noise it makes* This is incredibly stupid. *moves to his feet and walks across the room, kicking at the cage door now that everyone is distracted*
Aeris: *loudly yelps* If I could get you guys out of there, I would…
Hojo: *has retreated to the cloning tanks, wanting to protect his growing clones*
Yuffie: *had pressed herself against a wall after Cloud told everyone to duck. She eyes the second turret then frowns in thought. Soon enough, she flings her conformer at it and grins at it falls over and begins to malfunction like the first one. She then blinks as it tells her “I don’t hate you.”* These things are really, really strange…
Jenna: *stays out of Seph’s way, hoping that he’ll be able to get the door open if she just leaves him be*
Vincent: *frowns as he watches Hojo, he then fires his gun at his man* What are you doing here?
Cloud: Strange… but… *sits up, having watched Vincent and Yuffie knock the other Turrets over. He picks up his sword and whacks it at the final one in the room, moving to stand up when it utters a quiet “shutting down” comment* They’re easy to beat. *turns his attention back to Hojo* Now answer the question – What are you doing in this place anyway?
Aeris: Guys, you’re doing great. Keep him there. *moves to her feet again, then walks across the room to look over Hojo’s desk. She soon finds the cage key and happily walks back over to it to unlock the door*
Hojo: *ducks his head as the gun fires, but remains in the way of the cloning tanks, prepared to get shot to keep them safe* It’s none of your business! Get out of here!! *yells at Aeris* Leave those experiments alone! *makes a move towards her, then stops as he watches Cloud move his sword*
Jenna: *moves closer to the door as she spots the key in Aeris’s hands. She then nods at the girl* Hurry up and let us out of here. Hopefully, this time there will be no holes in the ground… *Shakes her head and reaches over to grip onto Seph’s right hand, wanting something to help keep her balance*
Vincent: *ignores the cloning tanks because he simply doesn’t know what they are. Instead, he keeps his attention on Hojo* Why are you still alive?
Hojo: *loudly laughs at Vincent* I don’t know, why are YOU still alive? *sneers* You are a pathetic weak man. And she never loved you, not ever. That is why she chose me over you. *giggles* Or are you still trying to chase her down like the weak pathetic fool you are?
Aeris: *glances back at Hojo, then unlocks the cage, sliding the door open* It smells in here. Come on, get out. *glances down at the patch of dried blood on the floor and sighs* Before he tries to torture you again…
Sephiroth: *snorts and stays in the cage, waiting for Jenna’s safe exit first*
Jenna: *Sighs at Sephiroth’s lack of movement. She then makes her way out of the cage, wanting to move to the lab’s exit. She tugs on Seph’s arm as she moves ahead* Come on, Seph. The faster we move, the less the chances of the Snake noticing…
Vincent: *Narrows his eyes at Hojo’s words. He then fires at the man once more, this time aiming for his heart* That is none of your concern…
GLaDOS: Wait. Stop. You shouldn’t be doing that… You will miss your party. Please lie on your stomach with your arms at your sides. A party associate will arrive shortly to collect you for your party. Make no further attempt to leave the testing area. Assume the ‘Party Escort Submission Position’ or you will miss the party.
Sephiroth: *once Jenna is out of the cage, he follows her, quickly heading for the exit himself* Indeed… and the faster we move, the less likely we are to get caught in the issues here… *snorts and heads for the outside, intending to leave Cloud and Co. in the room to deal with the A.I. and Hojo*
Hojo: *is slammed back by the force of the gunshot as the bullet strikes him, his back hitting the cloning tank behind him. However, it is not harmed and the bullet ends up lodged inside of Hojo* Idiot… *collapses onto the ground for now*
Vincent: *holsters his gun, now content that Hojo is down. He believes that Hojo will die soon enough. So, he turns his back on the man and grunts at Cloud* I don’t think there’s anything else left here to do.
Jenna: *also ignores the voice of the AI. She moves as quickly as she can for the door, stumbling about from time to time because she’s still recovering from the blow to the head. However, soon enough, she steps out of the lab all together*
Cloud: I think you’re right. *nods at the cages* Though, Sephiroth escaped. We’re pretty much back to square-one, aren’t we?
Aeris: *exasperated sigh* Oh shut up, Cloud! *moves over to lightly whack him in the arm* Sephy and the Jenna lady just went outside. We should follow them and take them back to the plane. They’ll probably need to take a bath though… it really smelled in that cage. I don’t know how long they were in there, but… it was very smelly.
Sephiroth: *stops, turning back to grab at Jenna, picking her up. He then begins to flee, running away from the labs* Once I’m out of range of the spells the snake put up, I’ll fly us out of here. *if Jenna is close enough to Sephy’s stomach, she might be able to hear it loudly growling*
Jenna: *yelps with mild surprise as Seph picks her up. However, she quickly moves to wrap her arms about his neck. Soon enough, she rests her head against his chest then frowns as she notices the sounds from his stomach* You really need to find something to eat, Seph…
Vincent: *Glances over at the cage then slowly nods* I see.. *Shrugs then makes his way to the door, intending to leave the lab*
Sephiroth: I’ll do that when it becomes convenient to do so… *grunts slightly with fatigue, but continues to run, soon leaping into the air once he figures he is out of range of the spells* Good… *picks himself up under his own levitational powers and soars into the air, taking flight. He quickly flies up and out of Midgar, eyeing the Highwind* I see they fixed it… hmph. So where do we go now? I need a bath. And food. And sleep. Preferrably in that order.
Cloud: *suspiciously eyes the cloning tanks, then turns his back on them, because he sees nothing inside them* Come on. Lets’ go back to the Highwind now that this is all over. We’ll regroup and plot our next action.
Jenna: *glances down at the Highwind then up at him* Well, the nearest source for all of those is right down there… If you’re willing to handle the Cetra’s doting and Cloud. *deeply frowns* I can’t say I feel up to traveling very far. And it probably would be safer for us to have the idiots as buffers for when the snake realizes that we’re gone…
Yuffie: *moves over to Aeris’s side and whispers to her* Why’d you let Sephy-butt out of his cage? Now he’s free to mess up the world again. At least there, he only stank like crazy…
Sephiroth: *sighs* I don’t want to go back there, but… *slowly descends, flying down to the giant airship. He sails onto the bridge, then sets Jenna down, leading the way into the ship* Come on. I know this place, unfortunately. We can shower and steal their food.
Jenna: *Slowly nods as Seph sets her down. She slowly follows after him for a few minutes. However, she stops after a few yards. Scowling, she turns away from Seph before her food from before comes up and she begins to throw it up*
Sephiroth: *stops when he hears the retching sounds and turns back to face her, quietly sighing* What the hell is wrong with you? *snorts* When you’re done there, follow me into the ship properly. You can use the bed they gave me, I will use another. Or the floor. Just don’t throw up on me. *waits for her to finish up*
Jenna: *recovers from her round of hurling after another minute. She then straightens up and frowns at Seph* First.. if I knew what was wrong, I’d fix it. *Snorts* But I’m fine with the exception of the nausea.. *shakes her head then moves to Seph’s side* Where exactly was the bed that you were given…?
Sephiroth: Follow me. *turns around and nods ahead of himself, leading Jenna into the Highwind’s internals and into the living quarters. He moves up the hallway, pushing open a door to reveal a rather boring simple small room containing a bunk bed, a chair, and a cupboard to store clothing in* This is it. Spikehead made me take the top bunk so he could monitor my every movement. It was most frustrating having him demand where I was going during the night if I had to get up to use the restroom. *deeply scowls at the thought and loudly snorts*
Jenna: *deeply frowns* So… you wish for me to sleep above where the idiotic blonde sleep, Seph..? *sowly shakes her head* I would have thought that you of all people wouldn’t want to be in the same room as him like that. *sighs* Just go ahead and get your food, Seph.. You need it.
Sephiroth: I’m not having you sleep above him. I’m going to kick him out of the room. You can sleep on the top I will sleep on the bottom, or on the floor. *shrugs* Or you can sleep on the bottom. In any case, this is the best I can offer you right now. The only double bed is in the master bedroom, which belongs to that idiot chain-smoker captain. *heads out of the room to let Jenna settle, also wanting to find food*
Jenna: Hmm… *eyes the bed once more. She then begins to look about the room, trying to tell whether or not she could get away with using magic to simply change the bed into a bed large enough for both herself and Seph to sleep in via magic*
Sephiroth: *is gone for about five minutes. He returns with a plate containing about five sandiwiches, also carrying three large apples in one arm, and a bottle of water. He sets them down on the bed, then begind to hungrily eat* *”I brought you some water. Start by drinking that, and I’ll try to feed you again.”*
