Sephiroth: It’s not really a success. It’s generally expected. It would have been odd if she didn’t take to this. It’s small, fluffy, and tactile. Something for her to hold onto. The books I read suggested giving small children things like that.
Jenna: *shakes her head at Sephiroth* Sometimes, you have a way of spoiling all the fun out of everything. *yawns and closes her eyes* You’re such a stiff bastard.. *grins. She then turns her back toward Seph, intending to fall back to sleep. If Sephiroth were to look at her hair, he’d notice that the color is starting to dull and there are several grey strands forming*
Sephiroth: Forgive me for answering your question. *yawns, grinning as Jenna turns her back to him. When he sees the grey hairs, he reaches over to begin pulling at them, yanking out individual strands one at a time*
Jenna: *softly yelps as Sephiroth begins to yank out strands of her hair. She then frowns and slowly turns to face him* What are you doing, Seph? That hurt… *looks up at him as she rubs the back of her head, near the roots that were plucked out*
Sephiroth: I had no idea you had grey hairs. Well, noticable ones. You have more than I thought you did. *reaches over to grab onto another one, pulling it out. Then he watches her hair and grunts* They’re turning grey as I watch them.
Jenna: Hrmph, I normally don’t have grey hairs… *twitches as he pulls out more grey hairs then narrows her eyes* I’d appreciate it if you would stop doing that. *She sighs. Then, she turns away from Sephers. Deeply frowning to herself, she mutters* I probably just need to renew my youth spell then, Seph… *shakes her head* You do know how old I truly am, right?
Sephiroth: Probably not. *frowns* Why? How old are you, really? All I know is that you are older than me. By a large margin. *moves his hand back, then grasps Desiree’s dragon toy, trying to pull it off her so he can tease her with it*
Desiree: *whines as the toy is pulled from her. She then makes a few grunting noises and tries to reach out for the dragon. She sends a psychic transmission to Sephy that indicates that she wants her toy back*
Jenna: *softly sighs at Seph* Well, I’ve lost track myself.. I’m around 300 or 400 years old, Seph. To say the least, yes, that is a large margin from your age.
Sephiroth: *initially teases Desiree with the the toy, holding it inches from her hands. When Jenna states how old he is, he seems to have lost interest in the game, and stares at her* Really…? *blinks and shakes his head*
Jenna: *nods at Sephiroth* Yes, would I lie about such a thing? *shake sher head at him* There’s absolutely no gain in me saying that I am that old if I am not that old. *glances up at him* Is that a problem for you?
Desiree: *giggles as she manages to get a hold of the dragon again. She then yanks it close to her so she can nibble on it again*
Sephiroth: It just seems strange… It’s not that I don’t believe you, it’s that I wasn’t expecting such an answer… *shakes his head again, still distracted, letting Desirre yank the toy back to herself* I would have guessed a hundred, perhaps more, but…
Jenna: *chuckles at Seph* Why is it so strange? *turns to face him once more* Do I not act like a wise old sage akin to what most would think of people as “ancient” as I, hm? *shakes her head at the very thought*
Sephiroth: No, you do not act like that, but still… *shakes his head, then grunts* Doesn’t matter… go back to sleep. *telepathically expresses the same idea to Desiree, then yawns, wanting to lie down again and doze once more*
Loz: *begins to whimper* What are we going to do, brothers…? I don’t want to stay out here without my bike.
Jenna: *sighs at Sephiroth* As long as you don’t start plucking out my hairs again. *mutters* Though I would have liked to fully understand why it is so strange to you. *Shrugs. She then settles down, intending to go back to sleep*
Desiree: *glances up at Sephiroth and gives him an innocent look. Tightening her grip on the stuffed dragon, she sends an impression to Seph to indicate that she doesn’t want to sleep*
Yazoo: *glances at Loz and slowly shakes his head* Settle down. *he pulls Kadaj into a small cave that he found. Soon enough, he sets up his brother so that he’s laying against the wall*
Kadaj: *grumbles* Next time, big brother will be the one who gets hurt..
Sephiroth: *telepathically sends an impression back to Desiree to indicate that he’s tired, then closes his eyes* *”It just was unexpected. Not strange.”*
Loz: *crouches down on the ground once inside the cave* I don’t want to spend time here…. I want to help mother and punish big brother right now! *punches a fist into his open palm* We need to do it now, brothers!
Desiree: *softly whimpers. She then yawns as well, becoming tired herself at long last*
Jenna: ~I suppose I can understand that. Though I sword that I’ve indicated my age to you before.. It’s of no importance.~
Kadaj: *looks over at Loz then frowns at him* You had mother with you. Where is she?
Loz: She… she… she fell. *lowers his head, looking miserable* The bad smelling man was playing with her. But it wasn’t really her, I could tell. It was just some of her. *raises his head, slamming a hand into his open palm* We should just… run out there and find them! He knows what happened to mother, he does!
Kadaj: *frowns at Loz* You should have never let go of mother… *scowls* We’ll find them later. For now, we need to think. *crosses his arms* Big brother was stronger than mother said he’d be.
Loz: *raises his head up to look at Kadaj* You heard mother…? When did you hear her? I never heard from her. I only know of her. That man spoke a lot of her when I was in the other place. *reaches ahead of himself as if touching an imaginary wall in front of him*
Kadaj: *shrugs* I don’t really remember… It feels like it was before I woke up. *scowls* It’s not important. *slowly moves to stand up. He then rubs his right side* We will prepare more next time. Then, big brother will suffer for being a traitor. And that idiotic old man can die as well.
Loz: *curls up on the ground, sniffling* I’m sorry I lost mother… if I had held onto her, she’d be with us now. *begins to growl* But yes. The old man can die a painful death. I know he was trying to harm mother.
Sephiroth: *leaves Desiree on his chest as he drifts off to sleep*
Jenna: *wakes up around mid-morning the next day. Luckily for her and Sephiroth, Desiree remained quiet and content for the remainder of the night. However, by mid-morning, she begins crying due to hunger. So, the first thing Jenna does is pick up the girl. Then, she exposes her breasts so that she could feed the girl*
Sephiroth: *groans as he hears the whimpering noise and wakes up, stirring awake. He sits up when he realizes there is no child lying on him, then frowns at Jenna, turning away from her again* Thank you for that.
Jenna: *looks over at Sephiroth. She then tilts her head at his behavior* Seph, you don’t need to be shy like that. You’ve seen these before. *shakes her head at him* And, you’re welcome.
