Jenna: *grumbles* I should hope so. However, I must admit that there has been a single creature that has managed to by-pass my security measures without much strain at all. That annoying feline queen is either lucky or very crafty. *shrugs then sits down next to Sephiroth* Now, how about we finish that sleeping thing?
Sephiroth: *nods his head* Indeed… it would be a good idea. *yawns, then relaxes as he spreads himself out, calmed by the sense that Centra’s security will stop Hojo and the 3 SHM clones from getting into the base*
Jenna: *softly chuckles at Seph as he spreads out. She then moves to his feet and begins to take off his boots and other clothes in order to make him more comfortable*
Sephiroth: *wiggles about to make things easier for Jenna, raising his feet up when she yanks off his boots* *”I hope you’re not planning to strip me naked.”* *would hold onto the elastic of his boxer shorts if Jenna tries to pull off his pants*
Jenna: *rolls her eyes* No, Seph. I know full well that you prefer to keep those on when you sleep. You can calm down. *tosses his pants and boots to the side. She then begins to take off her own clothing*
Sephiroth: Ah, good. *sleepily watches her undress, then yawns* One of us should stay awake or tell the computer about the idiots chasing us… I know they’re after me primarily, but I don’t want them to harm the infant. Hojo would definitely take her.
Jenna: *Shakes her head at Seph* Calm down. Centra will already mark them as intruders. You don’t need to worry about that part. *strips down so that she’s nude. She then slides under the covers* Now, get some sleep. *looks him over* Do you want me to massage any spots that they actually struck?
Sephiroth: *shakes his head* You need not do anything. Let’s just get some sleep while… *yawns* …we can. *rubs at his eyes, then move onto his side, facing her, shuffling into the sleeping position he likes*
Jenna: *broadly grins at Sephiroth. She then opens up the span of her arms before wrapping them around his shoulders. Nuzzling her nose against his neck, she softly speaks* As you wish, my handsome soldier boy. *smirks*
Sephiroth: You mean General. And Ex-General at that. *relaxes further in her arms, then begins to drift off to sleep. If undisturbed, he would sleep for several hours, but in truth, the infant’s crying is liable to wake him up again within a few*
Desiree: *remains asleep in her crib for about three hours. However, she eventually wakes up. At first, she just looks around. However, she soon begins to cry and send out psychic impressions that she’s scared of this new place that she’s in*
Sephiroth: *furrows his brows in reaction to the noise. Because he has been on alert recently and nervous about sounds around him, he is the first to wake to the noise. He sleepily moves out of bed, then heads to the crib, picking Desiree up, setting her over his shoulder so he can pat her back* *”Hey, be quiet. It’s safer here than the other place.”* *tries to telepathically express a feeling of calm to her*
Desiree: *continues to cry for about a minute as Sephiroth picks her up. However, she slowly begins to settle down once Sephiroth begins sending her the psychic transmissions. Soon enough, she’d become silent all together, aside from a yawn. Then, she reaches out to grip onto Seph’s nearest strands of hair*
Sephiroth: *because he is sleepy, he carries her back to the bed so he can lie down. He sets the girl down on his chest, then yawns, trying to telepathically express to Desiree that he is sleepy and wants to sleep more* Don’t pull my hair.
Desiree: *whimpers at Sephiroth and tries to respond back with an indication that she wants to play. So, she continues trying to tug on his hair*
Sephiroth: *flinches slightly as his hair is pulled on, but tolerates it. He then sighs and sits up a bit, lightly poking at Desiree’s shoulder in an attempt to entertain her, also experimenting, wondering if she’s going to find it amusing or not*
Desiree: *giggles as Sephiroth pokes her. She then lets go of his hair and tries to grip onto his finger. If she does manage that, she’d promptly move to suck on his finger*
Sephiroth: *keeps his hand still while Desiree grabs onto it, not seeming to mind terribly much when she attempts to suck on his finger* Just don’t start drooling on it. *takes advantage of the opportunity to try and feel her gums, frowning in thought* You already seem intelligent enough to be ahead of your human counterpart’s age-for-age milestones… *frowns further* Phh. *uses his free hand to lightly tickle and massage her back*
Desiree: *squirms and giggles once more as Sephiroth tickles her back*
Jenna: *softly groans at the noise. Slowly, she opens up her eyes then, she glances over at Sephiroth* Seph… what are you doing…? *she yawns and slowly sits up*
Sephiroth: What am I doing wrong, Jen? *smirks and begins to tickle Desiree’s shoulder blades, grinning at her high-pitched giggles* I’m entertaining her so she will tire out and go back to sleep. I doubt her attention span is longer than ten seconds.
Jenna: *glances over at Sephiroth then yawns once more* Oh, that’s all.. Just try to keep it down… *moves to lie down once more. She then grins at Seph* Thank you for taking care of the girl’s needs though.
Desiree: *continues to squirm and giggle. For now, she’s incapable of grasping the hand that is tickling her, for it is behind her. However, she does try to turn around and get at it*
Sephiroth: I am not making the noise here. You know that I am a quiet person. *smirks and lays his hand flat on Desiree’s back, trying to calm her down again. He soon moves the hand within her grasp, not wanting her to become frustrated and start becoming upset*
Desiree: *grins as she manages to grasp onto Sephiroth’s hand again. She then begins to tug at his fingers, curious. Eventually, she gets bored with his hand and begins looking around. She spots her stuffed dragon then reaches out for it. She whimpers as it is out of grip and begins sending a strong, at least as strong as she can generate, psychic impression that she wants her toy*
Jenna: You’re prompting the noise though… *playfully smirks* And there are some things that you do that are quite loud. *reaches over to pat Seph’s rump as if to give a clue*
Sephiroth: *seems curious as he receives Desiree’s telepathic signal and glances up at the stuffed dragon, teleporting it to her hands* There you go. *flinches slightly as Jenna pats his rear* What are you talking about? Are you trying to say that my flatulence is loud? *scowls slightly* You are out of your mind.
