Sephiroth: *pats Desiree on the head* Phh, don’t worry about him. Young males are pretty easy to defeat. You’d be able to push him over with almost no effort at all, I’d wager. *places Desiree back down on the ground, then begins to pull his own clothes off* If you give me a minute, I’ll go in there with you.
Zach: *grumbles a bit as Jenna washes him, but otherwise behaves for her, seeming interested as he looks up at her face*
Cancer: *is content to hold onto Jenna for now, enjoying the warm water*
Jenna: *finally finishes lathering up Zach. She then gently splashes water over him so that she can rinse off the suds. Once the soap suds are off him, she grabs some baby shampoo and pours it on his head. Soon enough, she begins to lather up his hair*
Desiree: *Broadly grins at Seph’s statement and happily claps. She then moves over to the side of the spring and sits down, waiting for Seph*
Sephiroth: *strips down, kicking his boxers off to one side. He then turns his attention down to Desiree, smirking before casually moving into the water before her* Well, come on then. What are you waiting for? *moves in deep enough so he can sit down and relax*
Zach: *keeps his head still, fussing more when Jenna soaps up his hair* Ow… *whimpers and jerks his head back as soap gets into his eyes, screaming at the pain it causes him*
Cancer: *shrinks down in the water, alarmed by the noise*
Jenna: *Softly sighs at Zach’s behavior. She then casts a quick spell to get rid of whatever soap went into his eyes. Meanwhile, she continues to lather up his hair. She hums as she does this, trying to calm him down. Once he is properly lathered up, she splashes water over him once more*
Desiree: *grins and nods. She steps into the water then slowly moves over to Seph. Then, she snuggles up against him as she settles down in his lap* ‘exy…
Cancer: *raises her head slightly, curious as to what Desiree just said* Exy?
Zach: *soon calms down again, but doesn’t stop with his grumbling protests as Jenna washes him off* Mmmm… *whimper* No…
Sephiroth: *pats Desiree’s back, then begins to gently splash her skin with water* I told you, girl. Please, call me ‘father’. You keep using that word. I don’t think it means what you think it means. *reaches over for the baby shampoo, placing some in his hands to begin massaging it into Desiree’s hair*
Jenna: *lets go of Zach now that she’s done washing him. She then reaches for Cancer and begins to lather her up as well. She then frowns at Cancer’s question* Umm.. She means “Sephy”, short for Sephiroth. *nods toward Seph* Him. Understand?
Desiree: *frowns at Sephiroth. However, she stays still as he begins to massage the shampoo in her hair, not wanting any in her eyes* Like ‘exy…
Zach: *moves away from her and crouches down in the water, stalking through it, seeming to be playing*
Cancer: ‘uh? *looks over at Sephiroth, then nods* Ah. Yep. *nods her head enthusiastically, then keeps still so Jenna can wash her off properly*
Sephiroth: It’s not the right thing though, Desiree. *scoops some water up in his hands, then telepathically instructs her to lean back slightly so he can rinse out her hair*
Desiree: *nods at Sephiroth. She then leans back and closes her eyes as instructed. She’d remain calm and silent as he rinses him off*
Jenna: Hmm… Well, this girl has quite the vocabulary. Bi-lingual as well… *grumbles* Probably because of that snake’s bits. *softly sighs as she continues to wash off Cancer. Soon enough, she begins to rinse the girl off*
Sephiroth: *places a hand firmly behind Desiree’s head and leans her back so she’d be lying on his forearm. He holds her steady while he flicks water at her scalp, thoroughly rinsing out all the soap. He then smirks and quickly raises her up again once he’s done, then tries to nudge her out of his lap* You’re done. *glances over at Jenna* I’d wager she knows a few different dialects, yes. Wait until she grows. She’ll adapt to the one most used around her.
Cancer: *keeps very still and stiff, staring off into the distance as Jenna rinses her*
Jenna: No, I mean that she knows two different languages Seph.. *frowns at him* You probably don’t know much about that since your planet only had one langauge. *shakes her head at him* However, she can speak both the language that I grew up on and English.. *finishes rinsing off Cancer. She then mutters* In fact, I’m surprised that they learned English at all. It was not spoken at all on Halcyon. I was only taught human languages since there was talk about sending me to live with humans… *Shrugs*
Desiree: *whimpers and stays on Seph’s lap* No. Wanna stay.
Sephiroth: *gives Desiree another nudge* You don’t want to play with your friends? **picks up the soap and begins to wash off his arms and chest* Who knows why the cloning tanks taught them English, Jen. Very strange indeed. But… do you think that it is a bad thing?
Jenna: *shakes her head* No, it isn’t, Seph. I am simply stating that it’s strange. *Shrugs. She then moves through the water. Soon enough, she settles down next to Seph. Then, she reaches over and pats his back*
Desiree: *looks up at Sephiroth* ‘exy is ‘en’. *glances at the other two. She then snuggles up against Seph’s stomach anew*
Sephiroth: *smirks at Jenna’s movements, purring when she sits next to him. He shakes his head at Desiree, but doesn’t seem any less content for doing so* There’s a better word to use on your family apart from ‘friend’, you know. It’s called ‘love’.
Zach: *lowers his head and begins lapping up the water like a dog, grinning madly*
Cancer: *watches her brother, confused by his behaviour. She shuffles away from him, retreating back towards Jenna and Sephy*
Desiree: *blinks and looks up at Sephiroth* Lll-ove? Wha’ tha’? *tilts her head, clearly confused by the new word*
Jenna: *rests her head on Seph’s shoulder and doesn’t seem to notice Zach’s nor Cancer’s behavior. Instead, she’s rather content to have all her attention on the man that she loves. She then whispers* Should we bring all of them with us when we go to get supplies? Might as well let the new ones pick out toys that they like..
Sephiroth: That seems like a disaster waiting to happen… *closes his eyes, frowning as he thinks about the kind of mischeif the children could get up to, then sighs* Desiree. Love is… *frowns, opening his eyes again, not quite sure how to explain it. He shakes his head slowly, then telepathically transmits his strong feelings of love for Jenna and her, as well as his desire to protec them* …something you can’t really put into words. Does it make sense?
Desiree: *stares up at Sephiroth, still not fully understanding. Eventually, she just nods and hugs onto Seph once more* Love ‘exy!
Jenna: *Shrugs* It’d be more of a disaster if we leave them here alone, Seph. And don’t you dare even think about leaving me alone to handle all three of them. *gives him a pre-mature glare*
Sephiroth: I.. I wasn’t going to suggest that. *frowns back at Jenna as he speaks his reply to her* How could you suggest such a thing? *it is clear that he was thinking exactly that, and now he is trying to turn the situation back onto her instead* Phh.. *turns his attention down to Desiree now, patting her on the head* I’m glad you understand what I meant. No need for misinterpretation. *looks back up at Jenna again, smirking* Isn’t that right?
Zach: *moves to stand up, then scratches himself and starts peeing in the water*
Cancer: *quickly moves away from him, whimpering*
Jenna: *Grumbles at Sephiroth* I’d suggest such because you were thinking that. *snorts at him* I heard you quite clearly suggest heading out on your own to get supplies earlier. *Shakes her head at him* I’m not ready to handle three of these things yet. *narrows her eyes at Seph’s next set of words. She then growls* What the fuck is that supposed to mean?? *Snorts and moves to mess up his bangs*
Desiree: *grins at the praise. She then blinks and stares as Jenna messes with Sephiroth’s hair. For now, she doesn’t notice what Zach is doing*
Sephiroth: Do you think I’m ready to handle three of them either? I wasn’t ready to handle one, much less three. But… here they are, and… *scowls at Zach* …behaving like children. *snorts* Don’t do that again. *tenses up as Jenna messes up his bangs, tensing, moving his hands up to try and get rid of her*
Jenna: *ignores Seph’s attempts to stop her from messing up his bangs. Instead, she allows her hands to trail down to the end of his bangs now. She then frowns as she finds them to stop around the middle of his chest. She then slowly shakes her head and mutters* Didn’t you used to keep this bit of your hair much shorter than this? *glances up at him* I think it’s being weighed down now.
Desiree: *watches Jenna. She then grins and mores to grip onto Seph’s bangs as well. She then begins to playfully tug on them*
Sephiroth: I can trim if back if you’re really concerned about it. I don’t mind – *stops, flinching slightly* Desiree. Please stop doing that. It hurts me. *tries to carefully pry the hair out of her grasp again*
Zach: *happily toddles out of the water again, then runs out of the room, still dripping wet and utterly butt-naked*
Jenna: *Shugs at Seph* I just think that you looked considerably younger when you did have that bit shorter… *narrows her eyes and mutters* Then again, you were considerably younger at that point… *shrugs. She then frowns at Zach* ~Boy, get back here!~
Desiree: *sniffles. However, she lets go of Seph’s hair* Ok… *She slips out of Seph’s lap then walks over to Cancer, wanting to check her out for now*
Zach: *begins to scream and squeal in reply from the bedroom, though it is happy screaming and he is basically doing it for the purpose of making noise*
Sephiroth: I can cut it back. It is of no consequence to me. *tiredly sighs at Zach’s behaviour, lowering his head, resting his forehead in his hand* I hope this doesn’t go on for long…
Jenna: *Shrugs* They do say that boys are harder to deal with than females… Not to mention, he has your genes. Psychosis and all in tact. *smirks at Seph. She then moves her hands in to tickle him, trying to distract Seph* ~Zach, settle down and come back in here. You shouldn’t be in there alone.~
Zach: *is quiet for a moment, then replies to Jenna before resuming his loud screaming, trying to throw himself onto the bed* *”No!”*
Sephiroth: I am not psychotic. And that isn’t really something that can be inherite—*stifles a snicker as Jenna tickles him, then quickly grabs at her hands* Please don’t do that… and not in the company of the children. They… they’ll get ideas.
