Jenna: *during the course of the night, she’d shift position so that she’s snuggled up against Sephers. However, she remains deep asleep for the entirety of the night. In fact, she’d over-sleep, and rest through the morning if undisturbed*
Desiree: *wakes up around 8 in the morning. She looks around at first, searching for her parents. She then sniffles and begins sending out a psychic plea for food*
Cancer: *also wakes up, seeming confused at her surroundings, not adjusted to where she is just yet, frightened with the unfamiliarity of the situation. She begins to whimper, then loudly cries, shivering, also not liking the sensations of being hungry*
Sephiroth: *continues to snooze, not seeming to pick up on Desiree’s psychic plea for food. After Cancer begins to cry, he slowly rouses, yawning as he sits up. He sighs at the noise and moves into the room, first patting Desiree on the head. He picks her up and carries her along with him to the play pen, picking up Cancer with his other arm, wincing slightly under the strain of her weight and the pain it causes his healing wound. He carries both girls up the stairs to the kitchen, setting them down on the table* Stop whining, alright? *begins to look through the refrigerator, finding a couple of bananas. He takes them out and half-peels them, offering one each to the girls*
Jenna: *Softly groans as Sephiroth slips out of the bed. However, she simply shuffles toward his abandoned warm spot once he is gone. Then she curls up and resumes sleeping. Several of her minor wounds are nearly completely gone. Her worst wounds are more than half-way healed as well*
Desiree: *hugs onto Sephiroth as he picks her up. She grins and settles down right away. However, she blinks and lifts her head up as Sephiroth picks up Cancer as well. Once she’s set on the table, she turns her attention to Cancer even more. Then, she shuffles over to her* “ungry too? *she is so curious about Cancer, that she doesn’t immediately notice the bananas*
Cancer: *telepathically replies to Desiree with her feelings of hunger, then her utter confusion and current state of fear, not really understanding much of anything that is happening to her right now. She begins to shiver again, timidly taking the banana from Sephiroth when offered to her* Mm… sca’ed… *begins to munch on the banana, hungry*
Sephiroth: *watches Desiree’s behaviour, then once again tries to offer her the banana* Eat it.
Desiree: *blinks then turns her attention to Sephiroth. She grins as she spots the banana. She then opens up her mouth and waits for him to start feeding her*
Sephiroth: *rolls his eyes at Desiree’s behaviour and begins feeding it to her, not really wanting to have a screaming child, or a tantrum on his hands to deal with so early in the day. He pulls up a chait and holds the banana steady* Chew. And do it properly. Otherwise you will get sick.
Desiree: *bites down on the bannana, then stares at Sephiroth, not understanding why her food isn’t mushed. She whimpers and sends Seph a psychic impression of her confusion. For now, she just holds the bit of banana in her mouth, not knowing what to do with it*
Sephiroth: You have teeth. I know you do. Jenna kept complaining about you biting her when she fed you from the breast. *frowns and glances about the room, pondering for a moment* Hold this. *gives her the banana to hold, then plucks an apple out of the fruit dish on the table. He bites into it and begins to chew on the piece he bit off* *”Chew, like this. It’s actually quite easy.”*
Cancer: *silently watches them, then tries to pull the skin off the banana, having eaten down to the unpeeled part. She has experimentally bitten the skin and found it to be unpleasant tasting*
Desiree: *looks up at Sephiroth. She holds onto the banana as he hands it to her. Then, she watches him as he chews. Soon enough, she begins to mimic his actions, blinking as she finds that the food in her mouth becomes mushed. She swallows then looks at the banana. Soon enough, she takes another bite to chew*
Sephiroth: *leans back in the chair and continues to munch through his apple, seeming to be deep in thought. He remains quiet and discontent as he continues to eat the apple, just keeping an eye on Desiree and Cancer for now*
Desiree: *tosses the banana peel to the side once she’s done. She then reaches out to Sephiroth and whimpers* Down?
Sephiroth: *takes another bite out of the apple he’s eating, then picks Desiree up, setting her down on the ground* Don’t go near the stairs. *scowls slightly* Unless you want to fall down them and hurt yourself.
Desiree: *whimpers at Sephiroth* No. No fall! *shakes her head. She then looks up at Cancer. She grins at the other girl*
Cancer: *is keeping herself occupied right now by pulling at the banana skin, mostly out of curiousity because she wants to know what it is. She’s already eaten all the fruit inside and doesn’t understand why this part should taste any different* Yuk… *tosses it onto the ground when she becomes bored of it, then turns her attention to the floor, wanting to get down*
Sephiroth: *closes his eyes* *”Jen, are you awake yet?”*
Jenna: *softly groans and moans for a moment. However, she does wake up after a moment, slowly opening up her eyes* ~I am now…. What is it, Seph?~ *yawns and frowns, not wanting to get out of bed*
Desiree: *waves at the other girl* ‘ello.
Sephiroth: *”I’d like to discuss something with you that’s troubling me. I’d like an opinion, or at least some kind of advice. I… I’m not sure what I want to do. But I can’t just leave it be – somebody will suffer, perhaps unecessarily, if I make that decision.”*
Cancer: *reaches down towards Desiree, making a grunting noise* Hi. *whimpers* ‘elp…
Jenna: *grumbles unintelligably to herself, still wanting to sleep some more* ~As long as I do not need to get up properly, you may discuss this thing as much as you want, Seph… However, if you want me to get out of bed… that might take a bit.~
Desiree: *nods at Cancer. She then walks over to Sephiroth and tugs on his pants*
Sepihroth: *”You… can stay down there if you wish. We’re only talking, afterall.”* *frowns* *”I am just thinking about that clone with Hojo right now. The small one. The others are more than large enough to take care of themselves and fight against him should any problems arise. But the small one has no defenses and Hojo can very easily abuse him.”* *frowns* *”What do you think I should do?”* *glances down at Desiree* What do you need now, girl?
Desiree: *points up to Cancer and jumps a bit* Wan down. *turns back to Seph and tugs on his pants again*
Jenna: *groans at Seph’s question* ~I understand your sentiments, Seph. However, if he is not distracted with that thing, he’ll be going after other things, such as our daughter, right? Isn’t that why we gave let him have it without a fight?~
Sephiroth: *”Yes, but… why should somebody else suffer just because it’s going to be a convenience for us? You know what my powers are like, Jenna. Imagine what will happen if that child is allowed to grow up. Do you want another meteor on your hands? On your island? Anywhere?”* *picks up Cancer and places her down beside Desiree* *”I say we open a portal back to my home and throw Hojo through it. The three older clones too. I suggest keeping the male clone around.”*
Jenna: ~No, Seph. I do not want another meteor anywhere.~ *deeply sighs* ~I also can’t support your idea to send Hojo to your planet. He is now immortal. He can wreck endless amounts of havoc on your planet alone with his insane experiments. No, it would be irresponsible for us to send anyone like Hojo, or those clones that have your potentials, back there.~ *shakes her head* ~If you wish to take the young clone away from Hojo, though, that is your choice.~
Sephiroth: *quietly slides out of his chair. He picks Desiree and Cancer up, heading out of the kitchen, carrying them with him back down the stairs to the bedroom* Stay here and be good, girls. *places them on the floor inside the doorway at the bottom of the stairs, then wordlessly leaves again*
Cancer: *seems very confused, not knowing what the hell just happened*
Desiree: *stares up at Sephiroth as he sets her down on the floor. She then nods* Ok. *Soon enough, she gets to her feet and heads toward the corner where her toys are located. Then, she begins to pull out random toys*
Jenna: *yawns, still tired. She snuggles up on the bed once more. Then, she closes her eyes, intending to return to sleep*
Cancer: *seems inquisitive as she follows Desiree, following her to the corner of the room. She begins to pick up the toys after Desiree has pulled them out, curiously looking at them, seeming to be interested* Ooh…
Sephiroth: *scowls as he heads up the stairs, scanning the base for lifesigns of the SHM and Hojo*
