*the female clone begins to meekly growl when prodded, not really liking it. Her reddish brown eyes narrow to slits as she becomes frightened, and then she tries to bat Jenna’s hands away* Nmmmm…
Sephiroth: I will prepare this for her while you are doing that. *sighs and heads for the closet so he can pull out some soft bedding for the girl to sleep on*
Jenna: *softly speaks out* “Calm down, little one. I’m just trying to become familiar with you…” *she stops prodding the girl and picks her up. Soon enough, she sets the clone down next to Desiree*
Desiree: *gives the girl a look filled with curiousity. However, she stays put and just hugs onto her stuffed dragon* ‘ello..
Sephiroth: *places a large folded comforter in the bottom of the playpen, then throws in a pillow and a small sheet before carrying it back into the room, pulling it into Desiree’s bedroom*
*the cloned female stares at the dragon, then shies away, shrinking back to hide under the covers, seeming nervous and very underconfident with her new surroundings. She begins to growl in Halcyon’s native tongue, though a lot of it is random psychobabble* “want… rrr… home..”
Jenna: *tilts her head at the girl’s behavior. She then reaches out to gently pull the covers away from her* “This is your home.” *she reaches out to gently pat the girls’ head*
*the clone begins to shiver, whimpering. She shakes her head, then points up the stairs, beginning to whine* ‘p there….
Sephiroth: *frowns as he comes out of the bedroom again, then turns his attention down towards the clone, shaking his head at her* This girl is still rather naked. Fortunately she is the same size as Desiree, so I can fix that.
Jenna: *tilts her head* “Up there…”? *Shakes her head* That place where you were “born”? *moves to sit down on the bed. She then gently picks up the cloned female and sets the girl on her lap. She then looks up at Seph* Yes, she is more or less the same size as Desiree..
*the female clone shivers slightly in Jenna’s lap, but soon leans up against her. She still has the tank fluid residue on her skin and she’s quite cold*
Sephiroth: *moves back into Desiree’s bedroom, finding some clothes and a diaper for the girl. He carries the items back into the room and offers them out to Jenna* Do you want to do this?
Jenna: *glances up at Sephiroth as he offers the items. She then nods at him* Yes, I’ll take care of it. Just set them to the side. She continues to examine the girl, she then frowns as she finds a small sliver of what looks to be black gook. She then brushes her finger against the substance, trying to figure out what it is*
*the female clone seems rather worried as Jenna touches the black gunk on her body, then tenses and turns the touched area into a liquidy black substance, which begins to drizzle down her back* N-no….
Jenna: *hisses then scowls* That’s definitely not from Seph nor I… *growls then tries to hand the girl off to Seph* You take care of clothing this cancerous thing!
*the female clone immediately begins to cry, frightened by Jenna’s yelling. She cowers in her lap, shivering, afraid of her*
Sephiroth: *”I don’t think it’s her fault. You shouldn’t scare her like that, Jen.”* *picks the female up, carrying her into Desiree’s bedroom so he can take care of her there*
Jenna: *shakes her hand, trying to get rid of the ooze. She then grumbles and glances back at Seph* That thing was made out of the snake’s minion. I don’t know which one, probably the smart one, but it’s still made out of that wretched thing. *snorts* Cancer, that’s all it is.
Sephiroth: *frowns at Jenna’s comments, then shakes his head* That’s not the kindest thing in the world to say. *scowls at his own words, then snorts* I am beginning to sound like Aeris… *grunts* What were the other ones called? Name them after them.
Jenna: What does it matter. That entire group is just a cancer. *snorts* Name her that. Even without the fact that cancer is a disease, it is a astrological sign. So, if you don’t like the fact that she’s part of a cancerous disease on this universe, tell her she’s just a crab. *Scowls at Cancer*
Sephiroth: *doesn’t seem content with Jenna’s explanation, but doesn’t object to it either* Alright… Cancer it is. *finishes clothing her, then places a warm sweater on her, carrying her back out into the room* I wouldn’t be so quick to dislike her though, Jen. Remember what happened with myself and Hojo. If you befriend them while they are young, they are much more likely to be your allies rather than your enemies. Hojo was determined to make me an enemy.
Jenna: *scowls as she considers Seph’s words. She then deeply sighs and lowers her head* Alright, Seph.. I’ll try to give her a shot. However, it will take time. *shakes her head* I’ve never seen anything related to the snake that has any truly free thoughts. *glances at the floor* However, I’d rather not have you compare me to Hojo at all… So, I shall try. *suddenly snorts* The name stays though.
Sephiroth: *nods in acceptance. He moves back into Desiree’s room, fumbling through her collection of toys. He frowns in thought as he picks up a plush animal Ocelot, shrugging to himself as he carries it back out into Jenna’s bedroom, offering the stuffed feline to Cancer* Desiree seems to have attached herself to something similar to this.
Cancer: *blinks slightly as she stares at the toy, but doesn’t take it at all*
Jenna: *softly mutters* Maybe she has a preference for some other type of toy. *Shrugs. She then walks over to sit down next to Desiree. Soon enough, she sets the girl on her lap and begins to pat Desiree’s head*
Desiree: *grins at the attention. She then looks down at Cancer* New ‘iend?
Cancer: *blinks at Desiree, then tentively nods her head* Mmm…
Sephiroth: *frowns, then tosses the plush onto the bed, sitting back down besides Jenna* Pity. I don’t want these things to gather dust and take up space. But I suppose it doesn’t really matter, at all… *shuffles to the side of Jenna, moving to the free side of the bed. He then relaxes, lying down on his back, frowning as he rubs at his side*
Jenna: *glances at Seph then mutters* We can take her to a human city tomorrow. We’ll get whatever supplies that she needs and toys she’ll play with then. *Shrugs. She then stands up and carries Desiree to her bedroom. Soon enough, she tucks the girl into her bed. Then, she begins to hum to Desiree, trying to get her to fall asleep*
Desiree: *looks up at Jenna as she hums. Soon enough, she yawns and begins to get sleepy*
Sephiroth: *glances over at Jenna, smirking as she carries Desiree away. He reaches down to gently pat Cancer’s back, sighing* I don’t know why you’re so afraid of everything, but you have nothing to fear here. Nobody’s going to hurt you.
Jenna: *continues to hum to Desiree until the girl is asleep. Once she is certain that Desiree isn’t about to wake up if she leaves, she heads back into the bedroom. Yawning, she glances over at Seph and tilts her head* You want that one to sleep in the toy pen, right?
Sephiroth: *nods his head, then picks Cancer up as well as the stuffed ocelot plush, carrying her to the playpen in the bedroom. He sets her down in it, then places the covers over her, setting the plush animal beside her* I’ll find you a real bed soon enough. *moves out of the bedroom again, then shuts the door to make sure the room is properly dark* That’s better… *seems a little troubled as he heads back to the bed*
Jenna: *takes off her clothes, tossing them to the side, as Seph places Cancer to sleep. By the time that Seph returns, Jenna would have made herself comfortable on her side of the bed. She’s closed her eyes and is drifting off to sleep*
