Sephiroth: *rises to his feet also, but calms once he sees Jenna already has control of the situation* I suppose I can. You took care of my vaccinations and I am not dead. *picks up the utensils he was using to feed Desiree so he can wash them off in the sink, also disposing of the fruit pulp down the drain* Did you want to try feeding her some kind of fresh raw meat substance some time soon?
Jenna: *nudges Desiree away from the stairs, ignoring her pleas of wanting to play and explore. She then looks up at Seph* Hmmm… Well, I would have started that a long time ago.. But I wanted to respect your tastes in food. So, it is up to you.
Sephiroth: As long as it doesn’t make her sick, I think she could benefit from the protein. *heads to the refridgerator, pondering his own food now* I wouldn’t feed her raw meat from here. Once it has been processed, it develops bacteria.
Jenna: *nods* Very well, I usually do not eat the entirety of my kills. If you approve of it, I shall start allowing her to have flesh from those… *thinks then frowns* Though, you probably don’t want me to do it in the way that I’d think of, would you?
Sephiroth: What way are you thinking of? *pulls a piece of fresh steak out of the refridgerator and carries it across the room, grinning as he sets it on the grill* It’s not hard to turn into pulp. A food processor would help further with that.
Jenna: Well.. the way that was common among Kerash’s species was… *coughs and glances to the side, knowing full well that Seph will most likely become disgusted* .. well… regurgitation. First the adult semi-digests the food. Then, they bring it back up for the youth to eat.
Sephiroth: *stares back at Jenna for a few moments, trying to tell if she’s kidding or not. After another moment, he snorts and turns his attention back to the grill* No. *heads for the cupboards to grab some spices, shaking some onto his steak*
Jenna: Hrmph. I figured that you’d disapprove. That’s why I haven’t been giving her fresh meat. Only the stuff that is in those jars and whatnot. Not that those things look appetizing. *watches him* Are you making that for yourself or for the girl?
Sephiroth: The girl wouldn’t eat this. *turns the steak over and sprinkles spices on the other side, then turns the heat up and sits back down at the table* Besides, whoever heard of feeding seasoned and grilled steak to an infant?
Jenna: *Shrugs at Seph* I’m not exactly an expert on human food, Seph. You should know that full well by now. *Shakes her head. She then sighs at Desiree heads toward the stairs again* I don’t think the girl wants to stay in here. I’ll go with her. Finish you food, Seph. *turns around and moves to accompany Desiree down the stairs, heading back to the bedroom area*
Sephiroth: *nods* *”I will be back down there once I have finished my meal.”* *watches Jenna leave, then moves the chair to the floor near the grill so he can keep a better eye on his cooking food. He watches it closely, seeming hungry and impatient*
Desiree: *immediately rushes over to her pile of toys once she’s downstairs. She grins and first hugs onto her stuffed dragon. Soon after, she begins bashing various toys together*
Jenna: *watchers Desiree for a few moments. Eventually, she decides that the girl is safe and will be fine. So, she strolls over to the bed and sits down*
Virgo: *looks up at the sky, grinning as she notices that the sun is setting. As soon as the sunlight is mostly blocked by the western mountains, she grips onto Vixen’s arm and begins pulling her forward* Let’s go, sister. We need to play with the idiot human and her friend.
Sephiroth: *just sits there, idly tapping his foot until his steak is cooked. He is quick to take it out of the grill and place it onto a plate, sliding back over to the table so he can begin eating it* *”She’s not causing too much trouble already, is she?”* *telepathically emits happiness as he eats the steak, pleased with the taste*
Jenna: *chuckles as she receives Seph’s indicators of happiness* ~Seems like you are most definitely enjoying the food that you made for yourself.~ *glances over at Desiree then nods in approval* ~The girl isn’t causing much trouble. She’s just smashing her stuffed dragon against her other toys.~
Sephiroth: *smirks* *”It’s a pity we can’t get her a pet dragon. They aren’t really domesticated, I don’t think. I’ve only ever seen them dig holes and burn things.”* *continues to eat his steak, seeming most pleased with the way it turned out* *”If you need any assistance, you know what to do.”*
Jenna: *broadly smirks at Seph’s statement* ~Hmm… what to do? Let’s see. Oh, right. I should threaten you with death and suffering unless you help me.~ *her amusement would be tagged along with the telepathic communication*
Sephiroth: *”Phh, yeah right. That’s not going to work out.”* *soon finishes his steak, then places his plate and cutlery in the sink. He lazily stretches for a few moments, then heads downstairs to join Jenna and Desiree, moving into the doorway to silently watch, grinning*
Jenna: *has picked up a nearby book. For now, she’s reading through the book and not overly paying close attention to Desiree. However, if the girl were to start crying, she’d react right away*
Desiree: *is still playing with her toys. She grins and giggles as she crashes her stuffed dragon against other toy figures*
Sephiroth: *smirks at Desiree’s play, then uses his psychic abilities to pick up one of the other stuffed animals, levitating it slowly above Desiree’s head in an attempt to entertain her*
Desiree: *blinks and looks up at the toy. She then giggles and reaches out to it, finding it to be fascinating*
Virgo: *is currently dragging Vixen forward through the forest, smiling in glee at the thought of attacking Jenna and her friend. However, she pauses as she catches a scent* Hmm… Virgo know that smell…
Vixen: *Growls at Virgo and snatches her hand back as soon as the other girl stops* Do that again, and I’ll smash your head in. Understand? *crosses her arms*
Hojo: *has taken refuge in a gap, under some roots in a large oak tree. While he’s not asleep, he certainly doesn’t look to be awake right now*
Sephiroth: *tries to lift Desiree’s stuffed dragon up too now, and raise it over her head, trying to make it look like it’s flying around* Well this is amusing. *moves into the room, smirking at her behaviour*
Virgo: *turns around to face Vixen. She then sets her index finger on her lips* Uh-huh, sister. Leave this to Virgo. *she giggles. She then begins to move through the brush. Soon enough, she moves right to Hojo’s hiding spot and kneels down* Virgo see old friend. *she grins, baring her fangs*
Desiree: *stares as her dragon begins to fly as well. She then pouts and yells out* Mine! *reaches out for the dragon instead now*
Sephiroth: *sighs at Desiree’s behaviour and drops the dragon back into her hands, not wanting her to get angry and upset*
Hojo: *opens his eyes as he hears noises nearby and promptly moves out from under the oak, beginning to climb up into it, being sure to stay in the shade of the tree canopy*
Virgo: *chuckles at Hojo’s actions* Tsk, tsk. Silly, silly man. It’s nearly night. The sun isn’t even out enough to peak above mountains. *giggles* Come with Virgo. We are going to beat up the sorceress and her friend.
Desiree: *squeals in delight as her dragon comes back to her. She then tightly hugs onto it*
Jenna: *glances up from her book and to Seph* Well, you definitely scored when you picked out that toy.
Sephiroth: *slowly nods his head* I just don’t want it to become an obsession. I’ve seen children carrying around toys like their lives depended on it. If it’s not destructive behaviour though… *frowns in thought, then leans back against the doorframe, allowing Desiree her dragon for now*
Hojo: *growls* Get away from me! I need to get back home. My laboratory is waiting there. My experiments… I need to get them back. They’re running amok.
