Desiree: *whimpers at Sephy’s transmission. She then shuffles behind Jenna, trying to hide for protection* Wa fun…
Jenna: *Frowns at Sephiroth’s expression* Settle down, Seph. It was just a bit of mushed up food.
Sephiroth: *makes a loud snort and sharply grunts, turning away from the sink, picking up some paper towel to dry his face off with* *”I know. But she should understand that what she did was wrong. And it’s easier to show her that with intimidation and anger rather than any physical punishment.”*
Jenna: Seph, it’s easier to do it if you just speak to her calmly like I was doing, Seph. You, of all people, should know what it’s like to be intimidated by someone much larger than you. *shakes her head at him. She then reaches over to gently pat Desiree’s head* It’s alright, girl.
Desiree: *sniffles and hugs onto Jenna’s side*
Sephiroth: *grunts, crouching back down on the floor* I… am sorry for upsetting you, girl. However, you need to understand that what you did was wrong. It’s not fun for me to receive fruit pulp in my eyes.
Desiree: *Sniffles. She then lets go of Jenna and shuffles over to Sephiroth. Soon enough, she hugs onto his side and nuzzles her nose into his side*
Sephiroth: *picks Desiree up, then sets her down on the table* Now, are you actually hungry, or do you want to fling more food in my face? *frowns at the girl, and picks up a new spoon and the bowl of mushed fruit*
Desiree: *fidgets around as she’s set on the table, wanting to play more than just sit down. However, as she sees the food near her, she opens up her mouth, indicating that she’s willing to just eat the food now*
Jenna: *softly chuckles* Told you that just talking to her works better than getting angry.
*Meanwhile, on the outer bits of the island, a large pod falls down from the sky and slams down into the forest. Soon after, Vixen and Virgo leap out of what is left of the pod. Vixen snorts and brushes herself off. Meanwhile, Virgo whimpers and whines about how she didn’t like the ride*
Sephiroth: *begins to feed Desiree with the fruit pulp, grunting slightly at Jenna* *”It’s not always going to work, you know. But I’m pleased that this was resolved without much incident.”* *doesn’t hear the noise going on outside*
Virgo: *Whines about having landed on Earth in the middle of the day. She then dashes under some trees and refuses to leave until evening*
Jenna: *nods at Seph* Indeed, this incident was easy enough to solve. *smirks* And clearly, your genes have a heavy influence on the girl.
Sephiroth: Hmm? What do you mean? *continues to feed Desiree, curiously observing her, turning his attention closer to her physical features* I don’t see much… just a small girl with brown, slightly greyed hair.
Jenna: *groans and rolls her eyes at Sephiroth* First of all, she does have silver patches of hair like her bangs, Seph. *Shakes her head* However, what I meant is that the stunt she pulled earlier was telekenetic, like what you can do, Seph. *Shakes her head at him* Not to mention, all the times she’s wordlessly expressed what she wants.
( I deliberately didn’t mention it because Sephy wasn’t observing that)
Sephiroth: Just because she has telepathic traits, it doesn’t mean she’s a lot like me. Such talents can manifest in anyone who has been exposed to Jenova’s cells. The more common effect is for them to brain hemorrhage and die, but there you go.
Jenna: *rolls her eyes* I’m not anywhere near to being that sort of psychic, Seph, and you know it. So, for her to do that at all would mean that she picked it up from your sperm. *shakes her head. She then reaches over to flick Seph’s nearest bang* And you shouldn’t be suggesting that the girl will die of a brain hemorrhage at all.
Desiree: *Swallows the food that she was recently given. She then looks at Sephiroth* More. *opens up her mouth*
Sephiroth: She’s not going to. *casually feeds Desiree another spoonful of fruit pulp* If Jenova cells are administered to existing test subjects, they usually die. Both Desiree and myself were conceived within the prescence of them, which is why neither of us are going to die. From that, anyway… *frowns in thought* I must wonder if the existance of the cells is the reason she’s even alive in the first place.
Jenna: *deeply frowns at what Sephiroth is telling him* If she has Jennova cells, and not just the genetics passed down from Jenova to you, in her, wouldn’t that mean that I’ve been contaminated with those cells as well? *frowns* And isn’t a sperm cell a single-cell item? How could Jenova cells tag along with a sperm cell?
Sephiroth: I’m pretty sure that Jenova makes up part of my DNA. However… *begins to telepathically transmit the memories of Hojo injecting loose Jenova cell sample solutions into his bloodstream, ranging from pulped tissue matter to her blood* Single rampant cells are also probably present in my body, moving around it like cancer particles. *frowns* Only it’s not a cancer, otherwise I would be dead. *frowns further at her* It wouldn’t be a stretch for… well… *scratches the side of his head* … cells to become present there, too. So yes, I think you are right…
Jenna: *softly sighs* Well, I’m not sick or anything else, so I shall decide that the issue is not overly important at the moment. *Shakes her head and mutters* Anyway, I’ve died since I’ve given birth to the girl.
Desiree: *whimpers and begins sending small psychic tugs on the spoon* More!
Sephiroth: *sighs* Sorry, Desiree. *continues to feed her from the bowl, then leans back to get comfortable* Yes, while you’ve died since then, it’s probably going to happen again…. *closes his eyes, frowning* Maybe I should find a way to eliminate the cells from my system.
Jenna: *shakes her head at Seph’s suggestion* No, that wouldn’t be right at all, Seph. Those cells are a part of you. *moves closer to him and begins to gently massage the back of his head* I love you in total, jenova cells and all.
Desiree: *happily munches on the food that she’s given. Finally, she gets full and begins to squirm about, wanting down off the table*
Sephiroth: *picks Desiree up and carefully sets her down on the floor* Watch yourself, now. And don’t go into the stairs. *growls slightly. He leans back when Jenna massages the back of his head and begins to loudly purr at her* *”You will become tainted with them before terribly long if we don’t do something about them, Jen.”*
Jenna: *indifferently shrugs at Seph’s statement* I will survive, Seph. It’s not like I’m not immortal. You’re immortal as well. *begins to pet his hair instead of massage his scalp* Anyway, you are well worth any risk. *smirks at him* Including deal with you yourself.
Sephiroth: *sighs* I suppose you’re right. I don’t have much grounds to argue, do I? *opens his eyes again, keeping his attention on Desiree* We need to make sure she doesn’t get into anything she shouldn’t. Hmm… *sits up* Have you had her vaccinated yet?
Jenna: *nods at Seph* Yes, she’s had her first set of shots already, Seph. I didn’t tell you since… *frowns* Well, you’re so sensitive about needles and whatnot. So, I didn’t want to make you worried. *Shrugs* Do you want me to inform you the next time I have Centra take care of her vaccinations?
Sephiroth: *slowly nods his head* Just don’t harm her. She’s not immortal and if the viruses in injections grow out of control, it could kill her. You don’t want that to happen, I assume. **keeps a close eye on the girl, but doesn’t seem too concerned about her activities right now*
