Sephiroth: Well… yes. *moves aside and places on some comfortable clothing of his own, frowning at the fact he’s running low on clothes, then sighs* I need to do laundry again… *grunts and begins picking up old clothes*
Jenna: You’ve already said that, Seph. *Shakes her head* Just teleport whatever clothes need to be done into the bin. You should know by now that Centra’s automated systems will clean them as long as they are deposited in the laundry bin.
Sephiroth: Hmph… I need to gather them first. It would become tiring to teleport every tiny article into the bin. Not to mention, lazy. *raises his head* A psychic creature does not rely on his abilities 100% of the time. When they are gone, he will become useless. Or his physical form will become tardy.
Jenna: *yawns at Seph. She then flicks her wrist and simply casts a spell to gather up all the clothing that would be classified as dirty. Then, she waves her hand again and casts another spell to send the clothing to the laundry room*
Sephiroth: *watches Jenna cast the spell, then nods at her* Thank you very much for that. *begins to button up his shirt, seeming much happier to be out of the water* I will have to retrieve it later, however. *snorts* And then fold it. Which I hate doing… *scowls*
Jenna: *mutters* Looks like putting on that shirt alone is a lot of work.. *shrugs. She then turns around and moves to lie down on her bed. Meanwhile, Desiree wakes up then begins to sniffle and cry, not certain where she is*
Sephiroth: *watches Jenna leave the room and begins to move towards her. He sighs when Desiree begins to cry and moves into her new bedroom to pick her up, setting her down over his shoulder* Shh. You’re perfectly fine.
Desiree: *whimpers and hugs onto Sephiroth* ‘exy…. *Sniffles and continues to softly cry, though she’s not as worked up now that Seph is around. She also sends out strong signals that she’s scared due to not knowing the room*
Jenna: *softly sighs at the noise* Do you have it under control, Seph?
Sephiroth: *nods his head* I have this one, Jen. It’s alright. I’ll be back out there soon. *carries Desiree around the room, as if showing her where she is properly* There’s nothing to be afraid of. *telepathically expresses a feeling of calm to Desiree, holding her close to his heart so she can hear his calm-paced heartbeat*
Desiree: *calms down as she listens to Sephiroth’s heartbeat. She then lifts her head and begins to look around with curiousity. Eventually, she grins at Sephiroth and hugs him* ‘exy.
Jenna: *nods* Very well, I shall trust you, Seph.
Sephiroth: *pats her back, then carries her out into the bedroom, sitting down next to Jenna, placing Desiree in his lap* Good. *grins and leans against Jenna, beginning to make a loud purring sound at her*
Jenna: *blinks, not having expected Sephiroth to lean up against her. She then grins at him, quite won over by his purring noises. She then reaches over to wrap her arm around his shoulders. Soon enough, she whispers* Hello, handsome.
Sephiroth: *moves to rest his head on Jenna’s shoulder, continuing his loud purring. He closes his eyes and tries to get comfortable, grinning with contentment shortly afterwards* Hello. *sighs slightly* *”I am sorry for anything I said before that may have upset or offended you.”*
Jenna: *nods at him. She then reaches over to gently massage his scalp* Do not worry yourself over it. Just please try to trust me more in the future.
Desiree: *tilts her head at Sephiroth’s behavior. She then moves to press herself up against his stomach* ‘exy atha… *yawns*
Sephiroth: *purrs at Jenna’s touch and snuggles up against her, grinning with contentment* I will definitely try…. *moves an arm around Desiree, content to just be where he is for now* I need to go investigate what destroyed the robot later… *mumbles* Not now…
Jenna: *nods at Seph* Yes, I don’t think it’s a major problem for now. Whatever it was, it didn’t get far. It probably was scared off. *yawns, quite tired*
Sephiroth: *leaves Desiree on the bed as he settles in for a nap. He remains nearby both of the females which he values as he falls asleep*
**Over the course of the next half a year, events are fairly average, run-of-the-mill, and otherwise as normal (or as normal as they can be for an ex-megalomaniac and a borderline-insane split personality mage). On this particular day however, Sephiroth is busy making partially chunky baby food out out of peaches and pears, pulping them in a bowl with a potato masher**
Jenna: *is currently changing Desiree’s diaper, trying her best to ignore the girl’s squirming. Finally, she finishes then sets Desiree down to the ground* Alright, all done, girl. Do you want to go to your father now?
Desiree: *grins* Fa-ta! *moves to stand up, still being a bit shaky on her feet. She then tugs on Jenna’s leg*
Sephiroth: *frowns at Jenna* Make sure she doesn’t fall down on anything and injure herself. That’s about the last thing we need right now. *shakes his head and concentrates on his task* If she seems happy though… *continues to mash up the fruit, frowning at the mess he’s making* This better be worth it.
Jenna: *gently nudges Desiree* Well, he’s right there. Go ahead to your father. *she silently watches Desiree as the girl moves away from Jenna and walks over to Sephiroth as quickly as she can*
Desiree: *As soon as she’s near her father, she hugs onto his calf and grins* Fa-ta.
Sephiroth: *glances down at the girl, then slowly shakes his head* Hello, Desiree. Mind you don’t knock anything over. *continues to pulp the fruit, then tosses the masher into the sink, picking up a spoon to stir up the food, narrowing his eyes at it* Looks awful. Then again, most things you eat right now do. *crouches down and tries to feed Desiree a spoonful of the fruit pulp*
Desiree: *looks down at the spoon then grins and tries to use a little psychic push to shove the spoon back and make the food fling back into Seph’s face*
Sephiroth: *flinches as the spoon strikes him in the nose, splattering mashed pear and peaches into his eyes. He staggers back, growling, his butt hitting the floor because he is not very balanced while in the crouching position. He makes a loud snarl and moves away, moving to his feet again so he can wash his face in the nearby sink*
Jenna: *softly groans at the scene before her* Not again.. *walks over to Desiree then kneels down next to her* You need to stop doing that.
Desiree: *frowns at Jenna* Fun…. *whimpers*
Sephiroth: *blindly gropes about for the sink, smacking into the refridgerator in the process. He hisses and stumbles back again, snarling as he finally finds the sink. He is quick to turn on the cold taps and wash off his face, then scowls down at Desiree, glaring hard at her, telepathically indicating to her that he’s very angry for what she had just done*
