Sephiroth: You wanted me to come with you? You never offered. Besides – how could I? *frowns* You can’t leave the infant here by itself. Somebody has to be supervising it at all times, at least until it is 4 – 5 years old. We couldn’t have left it alone by itself…
Jenna: Hrmph, we could have taken her with us. There’s no rules that say that she needs to be bound to one spot. And I shouldn’t need to offer!
Sephiroth: I was guessing that you were still annoyed with me over the conversation we had earlier. About me transforming myself into a female for the purpose of lactation and nourishing the infant. So I stayed behind.
Jenna: *glares at him* You’re the one who was annoyed Seph. I told you throughout the entire thing, I didn’t care. You were the one dragging that comment through the dirt and holding onto it. *Shakes her head* And that was after I left and while I was coming back here to help you!
Sephiroth: While we could sit here for hours and go through the fine details and the ‘he said’, ‘she said’ parts of our predicament, I would much rather discuss and reach a resolve with you. Wouldn’t you agree? *sits up properly, facing her directly now, his tone sincere* What would you rather I do?
Jenna: *Narrows her eyes then snorts in irritation* Figure that out yourself. *turns her back on him again and returns to her books*
Sephiroth: *shakes his head at her and lies back down* Good night, Jenna. *settles back into the comfortable position he was in before, then closes his eyes*
Jenna: *growls in irritation, still not content. So, she just gets to her feet and gathers up her books. Then, she exits the room all together, not wanting to be around when she feels that Seph doesn’t even want to put effort into giving her any affection*
Sephiroth: *pries an eye open and watches her exit the room, shaking his head, muttering* Females… tch. *closes his eyes again, trying to work out just what the hell happened. He shrugs his shoulders and rolls onto his side, thinking in his mind that he at least tried to solve the argument and not turn his back on it like he normally does*
Jenna: *remains upstairs in her library, still quite irritated. She’d continue to grab books to read through. Eventually, she’d fall asleep in the chair that she was sitting on*
Desiree: *wakes up after about an hour and a half of Jenna having abandoned Sephers downstairs. She whimpers and cries, wanting attention*
Sephiroth: *groans tiredly as the whimpering and crying noises wake him up. He sits up and sighs, getting out of bed to attend to Desiree, plucking her up, setting her down over his shoulder, rubbing her back* Hey…. shut up. *frowns*
Desiree: *Slowly settles down as Sephiroth picks her up. She then begins to poke and prod him, exploring about and llooking for play things*
Sephiroth: *sighs at her* I’ll humor you. But I’m not really in the mood right now… *carries Desiree to the bed, then sets her down on his warm patch. He then moves away to the small pile of toys he has purchased for her, picking up a plastic rattle with a mirror on it, handing it to her* Here, play with this.
Desiree: *takes the rattle and shakes it a bit. However, she isn’t overly interested in it since it is not her dragon that she can hug. So, she begins to cry anew*
Sephiroth: *furrows his brows at the crying sound and sighs, moving away to find Desiree’s dragon. He finds it in the crib and is quick to return it to her side* Is this what you want? *yawns, sitting down beside her*
Desiree: *becomes silent as soon as she sees the dragon. She then grins and reaches out for it, wanting to grasp onto it*
Sephiroth: *raises the dragon up, then smirks and begins playing with it to gain her interest, moving it over her head in a pretend-flying motion. He then raises it up higher, causing it to turn, then he playfully moves it to divebomb, gently crashlanding against her chest*
Desiree: *keeps her eyes on the dragon and keeps on trying to reach out for it. She giggles as it lands on her chest. Then, she quickly wraps her arms about her dragon so she could hug it*
Sephiroth: *lets go of the dragon once Desiree has a firm hold of it, then grins in amusement and lies down beside her, yawning* You really have no clue of what a good night’s sleep is, do you?
Desiree: *looks at Sephiroth then yawns. Soon enough, she shuffles closer to him and snuggles up against his side*
Sephiroth: *moves an arm around her and begins to loudly purr* At least you’re not making that loud noise any more… *moves onto his side, curling around her. He ponders in thought for a moment, then wordlessly speaks to her telepathically with thoughts, trying to tell her that he wants her to communicate her needs to him via this method. He tries to keep it simple and short so she would understand*
Desiree: *blinks and looks up at him. She tilts her head. However, she soon turns her attention back to the dragon and begins to suck on its ear again*
Sephiroth: *frowns at Desiree’s apparent lack of comprehension to what he just tried to communicate to her. He quietly sighs and just leaves her be for now, deciding to try again later*
Desiree: *eventually settles down completely. So, she yawns then snuggles up against Sephiroth, intending to go back to sleep*
