Sephiroth: **frowns and picks Desiree up once he’s got her dressed again* I don’t understand why you like to do that so much, girl. But as long as you don’t cause me any pain, I’m not going to discourage you from doing what you wish. Just don’t pull hard.
Jenna: *walks outside of the base. She finally stops in the field that is just outside the entrance. Soon after, she opens a portal that would take her to Houston. Then, she jumps through it*
Desiree: *tilts her head as she looks up at him. There isn’t much understanding in her eyes though. Instead, she just takes the tuft of hair in her hand and puts it into her mouth*
Sephiroth: *frowns further at Desiree, telepathically expressing dissaproval. He then picks up her stuffed dragon, offering it to her instead* Chew on this. *tries to pry his hair out of her hands*
Desiree: *initially whimpers at Sephiroth, not wanting to let go of the hair. However, her attention is soon diverted to the dragon. She then latches onto the dragon instead and begins to tug and suck on it*
Sephiroth: *sets Desiree back down in her crib, then moves away to the adjacent library of his to find something to read while he’s waiting for Jenna to return from her trip outside*
Desiree: *remains occupied with her dragon for quite some time. She bats it around and squeals with happiness at times. However, eventually, after about two hours, she becomes hungry. So, she begins to loudly wail*
Sephiroth: *frowns at the noise as he is distracted from his reading. He moves to his feet and heads over to pick Desiree up, holding her close to him, patting her back in an attempt to calm her down* Unfortunately, I have no means to feed you… *frowns and tries to telepathically contact Jenna* *”Are you going to be much longer?”*
Jenna: *her signal is a bit distorted since Seph is a bit out of her range of ease to contact* ~I’ll probably be a bit longer, Seph. What’s wrong? Missing me already?~
Desiree: *continues to cry, not seeming to be appeased by anything that wouldn’t be food at the moment*
Sephiroth: *”Well there is that, however. The infant is hungry and screaming her head off. It’s quite a grating noise, and painful on the ears. Perhaps you should return soon. Just a thought.”* *continues to pat Desiree’s back, sighing*
Jenna: ~Didn’t you buy any formula when you bought all those other things, Seph? And can’t you shape shift into a female? I’ve heard you’ve done that before… Or was that just appearance only.~ *seems a bit frustrated at him* ~I’ll be back as soon as I can.~ *gathers up the items that she was looking at, including the pump for getting out her milk that she was examining. She then sends them into sub-space*
Sephiroth: *seems disgusted by Jenna’s suggestion* *”What kind of person do you think I am?”* *frowns* *”I didn’t buy any artificial feeding apparatuses or manufactured feeding solutions because I thought you wanted to deal with that. I also read up on it – it is very time consuming to clean and sterilize all the needed equipment.”* *continues to pat Desiree’s back* *”Hurry back soon, yes.”*
Jenna: ~Well, is it an option for you or not, Seph? As I said, I know that you did turn yourself into a female once.~ *heads out of the store she was in. Soon enough, she makes her way to a abandoned alley. Then, she opens up a portal. The portal deposits Jenna into the forest, about half a mile away from the base. As soon as she recovers her footing, she shifts into her hybrid form and spreads her wings, intending to fly the rest of the way*
Sephiroth: *”It’s… not an option.”* *frowns as he discovers that the target of his telepathic link has hopped dimensions and breaks it off, reconnecting it once he can find Jenna again* *”What kind of person do you think I am? I wouldn’t transform into a female to do that anyway.”*
Jenna: *glances up at the trees that surround her. She then snorts and begins climbing up one so that she can get to the sky. If Hojo is in the area, or anyone else, she wouldn’t be paying attention* ~If the circumstances called for it and if I were completely unavailable, I’m certain you’d take the option.~
Sephiroth: *”Just because I can transform into a member of the female population, it does not mean I can lactate at will.”* *scowls* *”Besides, the easier option is to use the fake powdered formula that lazy humans use on their brats. Can we stop discussing this now?”*
Jenna: ~You’re the one dragging this out, Seph. I’m just responding to your own yelling and screaming. I made a simple statement.~ *reaches the top of the tree. She then spreads her wings and takes to the air*
Sephiroth: *”Yelling and screaming? Are you dreaming now? Or imagining things? When did I ever do any of that?”* *scowls at Jenna’s comment, annoyed now*
Jenna: ~Oh, just calm down, Seph. I’m over-exaggerating. The point is that you are the one who is bothered by the statements I am making. You are the one continuing these topics. So, drop them or don’t. It’s up to you.~ *quickly pivots in the air to avoid a tall tree*
Sephiroth: *scowls* *”Very well.”* *carries Desiree back with him into the library then sets her down in his lap as he picks up his book to read again* It’s alright… *reaches down to pat her back*
Jenna: *lands down in front of the entrance to the base. She then opens it up and begins heading downstairs. For now, she doesn’t bother returning to her normal state*
Sephiroth: *just sits there for the time being, reading his book with Desiree over his shoulder, still rather annoyed about what Jenna had said to him a short time ago*
Jenna: *finally spots Sephiroth once she reaches the lowest level with her quarters. She then strolls over to him, shifting to her true form as she walks. She then holds out her hands* Alright, I can feed her now.
Sephiroth: *glances up at Jenna when she steps into the library and wordlessly hands Desiree over to her, then leans back in his chair and picks up his book again so he can continue to read*
Jenna: *glances down at Sephiroth then frowns at him* You don’t need to mope about. *she releases the items that she had bought from the human city onto the floor* Please, put these up. *she then walks into the bedroom and undoes her top so that she could start feeding Desiree*
