Kalysto: Get me a dark space and a table. I don’t have any of my old relics or items with me, so that won’t work out… *glances up at the ceiling and thinks. He then shakes his head as if trying to rid himself of something before collapsing back on the bed, seeming to be asleep or unconcious now*
Desiree: *her eyes widen as she watches Kalysto just collapse back onto the bed. She then shakes her head and mutters* Strange.. *sighing, she moves out of the room and mutters to herself. After a bit, she decides to exit the base and head to the nearest source of humans that she can sense out, which brings her to Mideel. So, for the next few hours, she explores the stores there and inquires about furniture. She winds up picking out a bed and a few other items such as chairs and sofas. She then utilizes a combination of a teleportation spell and an illusion spell to make people not notice as she and the furnishings vanish. Upon returning to Halcyon, she drags the furniture into Kalysto room. As soon as the bed is set up, she moves over to pick up Kalysto and carry him onto the proper bed*
Kalysto: *because he is rather worn out right now, he doesn’t wake as Desiree moves him. He would be surprisingly light for his size, and at such a close range, Desiree might be able to smell the lacing of fel-energies that course through his being. Once on the new bed, he sprawls out and continues on with his dead-to-the-world thing*
Desiree: *tilts her head at the scent from Kalysto. She then whispers to him* You need a shower. *shrugging, she sets him down on the new bed. She then decides to be nice and tuck him in. Once she thinks he’s comfortable, she walks away from the bed and begins to drag out the furniture that was meant for raptors*
Kalysto: *just remains on the bed, not budging an inch when Desiree tucks him in and begins moving about his room. He would remain asleep for about four hours or so if left be*
Desiree: *finally finishes moving about the furniture. She then exits the room and heads to her room. So, by the time that Kalysto wakes up, she would be in her own room and sleeping*
Kalysto: *slowly wakes up after some time, due to the fact he is uncomfortable. He looks up and glances about the room, seeming incredibly disorientated and drowsy. He doesn’t remember where he is and so he stumbles off the bed, wandering out of the room so he can look for a means to exit*
Desiree: *is still curled up in her bed when Kalysto wakes up. She is softly snoring. However, the noise is loud enough that it can be heard from the hallway*
Seferia: *had slipped into the base, for she’s trying to find some way to return to Earth once more. At the moment, she’s in her human form due to the fact that it’s smaller than being a felinoid. She briefly pauses as she spots Kalysto. However, she doesn’t move to attack, for she doesn’t feel that he is a threat to her*
Kalysto: *ventures down the pathways, stopping when he comes to Seferia. He looks at her curiously then mumbles something about false images and dragons as he continues on his way. He comes across a doorway containing various implements shortly thereafter, and wanders inside to look*
Seferia: *stops as she hears Kalysto’s muttering. She then blinks and turns around to look at him. Tilting her head as she senses out the elf, she decides to follow after him* You have changed. Your kind is not likely to change the energies that you possess that easily..
Kalysto: I changed? Everything changes. What do you think happened to me? *shakes his head, annoyed* I didn’t change anything. Things are always as they have and should be. *picks up a rather large funnel and a bottle, carrying them out with him* Why am I of interest to you?
Seferia: *she silently moves even closer to Kalysto. She then narrows her eyes as she scans him over, sensing out his energy fluxes* You are carrying much more than what you are meant to, aren’t you? *she shakes her head*
Kalysto: I can handle it. I’m much stronger than what I appear to be, let me assure you of that. Now… *turns his back to her again, then begins to sort through Jenna’s posessions* Actually, come to think of it, do we know each other?
Seferia: *narrows her eyes at Kalysto as he speaks. She then loudly snorts and shakes her head* Do we know each other? No, not at all. My only involvement with you to date has only been that moment a few days ago where I saved you from the defenses that were meant to hold back the grand mother dragon of all dragons. No, we do not know each other at all. However, I can still say that the magics that you currently possess will not be controllable by your feeble body and mind.
*If Kalysto were to continue going through Jenna’s possessions, he’d soon find a large stash of liquor bottles that have been hidden in several closets and cabinets throughout Halcyon*
Kalysto: *finds the liquor bottles and immediately seizes a couple, smirking* You think I can’t control what I possess? What do you think I am, a weak willed human? I am of noble blood, and born from those who were strong and powerful. Only those who choose my path fail because they cannot control their power. I have mastered it, however. Don’t tell me I can’t handle something when you don’t know.
Seferia: *tilts her head and examines Kalysto over again. She then shakes her head* No, you appear to be just the same as any other human that I met, more or less. You have a few unique traits that make you clearly another species, such as your ears. However, your capabilities are not that much better than a human’s. *she crosses her arms and shakes her head* Also, I need not know you, even if you think you may know me, to be able to tell you that I can sense that you are holding onto more energy than your body is made to have.
Kalysto: That’s nice, I don’t give a damn about your opinion. I should know my own capabilities… and I say I can hold onto it. *narrows his eyes at the liquor and mumbles as he comes across some red wine* Looks like cheap stuff. “Sang de mer”? What kind of backwards language is that? *shakes his head*
Seferia: *speaks in a bored, flat tone* French. That language originates from France. *She turns around and shakes her head* You delude yourself with your belief in your abilities. But no matter, it is not my place to deal with a human-like creature that will inevitably loose control. *with that, she begins wandering out of the room, intending to resume her own search. If Kalysto were to follow her, he’d eventually find himself in one of the computer mainframe rooms with various access consoles*
Kalysto: There are two types of person in this life – one who can control their powers, and those who are too weak to do anything. Good, bad, it’s all a matter of perception. If you want to keep calling me weak, go ahead. One day you will rue those words. *narrows his eyes and moves after her*
Seferia: I highly doubt that I will rue much of anything from the likes of you. *she steps up to one of the consoles. She then tilts her head as she examines over it. Soon enough, she tries hitting in some commands, hoping to find some information as to how to return back to Earth from the databanks in the computer*
Kalysto: *moves forwards to examine the consoles, wanting to poke at them. He then backs away again, shaking his head when he discovers that they don’t really appear to be anything magical* Stupid talentless human invention…
Seferia: *indifferent* I do not believe that these machines were made by humans at all. *she shakes her head and continues to peruse the files. Soon enoug, she narrows her eyes as she notices that she is not finding any useful information at all*
Kalysto: Even if they weren’t made by humans, they still look cheap and out of date. And very large – who would make something like that? *moves forwards to watch what she is doing* Stupidity, that’s what it is. Why are you still bothering with it? Why do you not find your information via magic? You don’t appear to be silenced.
Seferia: *Stops in her search. She then turns her head to look back at Kalysto* I do not see why it matters to you how I search for answers. You are no friend, foe, comrade, or anything else to me. All you are is a human cousin of some sort. *she releases a soft snort* We know not each other, and idle curiosity has become old. *she turns back to the computer* Anyway, answers do not always appear via magic. Most times, you need to actually research and search out the answer the hard way.
