Desiree: Oh.. Well, why here? This area is just dark and not used. It smells- *she stops as she enters the room. Locking her gaze on the dragon, her eyes widen with fear and surprise. She then backs up toward the doorway* What the hell is this??
Kalysto: What does it look like? It’s carnage and death. Destruction locked in a rift, preserved for ever for all to see and appreciate. Why isn’t it used? Because of what you see. Preservation shows the truth to the mayhem. Why does it matter where I am? I’m here, now. *turns his head away from her, and then sits on the floor in front of the white dragon*
Desiree: *stares at the dragon once more. She then releases a pathetic-sounding whimper before shaking her head* Definitely carnage and death.. Buy why a dragon? Why here? *she cringes then turns aournd* ~Father… Please come here. Please.~
*the laughing voice is soon replaced. While it is the same voice, it is now growling out something. Meanwhile, shadows in the room would move about slightly, though in a distorted manner, for the passage of time is screwed up in the room. At times, it appears that a humanoid figure has moved past the doors and stopped near the center of the room. Other times, various figures either explode, become ripped to pieces by unseen forces, or catch on fire. However, these things are only distorted shadows, so no detail can be made out of any of them*
Sephiroth: *is very much asleep beside Jenna right now, and so doesn’t reply to her calling*
Kalysto: *lowers his head as he sees the imagery around himself, seeming quite passive and calm despite all that’s going on. He makes a slight amused sound and stays still, wanting to sit in the middle of it all*
Desiree: *Sends a sharp psychic pulse toward Sephiroth, hoping to get his attention* ~Father! Please, come here! Now! I’ve found something really.. freaky.~ *She glances down at Kalysto then groans* What are you doing??
Sephiroth: *sends an annoyed pulse back, then he sits up slowly, not happy to have been woken up* What is it...? *yawns sleepily* *"Why did you wake me...? What's so important that I need to go there...?"* Kalysto: *pins his ears back* ...are you stupid? What does it look like I'm doing?Desiree: It looks like you’re acting as strange as this room is in general. *shivers as she continues to watch the twisted imagery. She then shakes her head and presses her back against the wall* ~Father, get over here. There’s something really freaky in the base… I don’t know what this is, but it’s horrible.~
Sephiroth: *sighs with unhappiness and moves out of the bed, pulling the covers over the warm spot in an attempt to preserve the heat for when he gets back. He places on a pair of pants, then wanders up the stairs, heading down the passageway, following Desiree’s life energy signal. When he comes upon it, he moves into the room, scowling at first. When he sees the imagery and such, he stops, shaking his head* What the hell? *telepathically nudges Jenna, trying to wake her up now* *”What the hell is this about?”*
Desiree: *shuffles over to Sephiroth’s side as he comes into the room. She then latches onto him for comfort* It’s really freaky, Father.. What is all of this?
Jenna: *releases a tired groan and cracks her eyes open as Sephiroth nudges her mind. Shaking her head, she tries to process what he’s talking about* ~Huh? What is what about…? Just trying to sleep… So hot.~
Sephiroth: I don’t know what it is… I really don’t. *scowls at Kalysto* What the hell is he doing? *shakes his head and snorts, then telepathically sends the imagery of what he sees to Jenna* *”It’s obviously something…. I think I’ve seen this dragon before, but I do not know where…”*
Desiree: *deelpy frowns and pouts a bit* I thought you might know something.. Damn it. *She follows Sephiroth’s gaze then shrugs* He’s been acting strange as of late.. After being molested by a dragon, killed, then bothered by Astaroth.. I guess he has every right to be strange. But for now, he’s just sitting there.
Jenna: *blinks as she receives the imagery* ~That’s… That’s the council chambers. But.. What happened in there? There shouldn’t be any dead bodies at all in there.~ *She groans and slowly stumbles out of bed. She then moves to put on a robe so that she’s covered* ~I’ll be there in a bit.~
Sephiroth: *”I don’t understand it… I don’t know why this is here. Do you?”* *glances back at the doorway, waiting for Jenna* Well, kick him out of it. I don’t know where this is going to go. Anyway, stay put. Your mother is coming to investigate. I’ve no idea how this got here, but it’s not staying.
Desiree: *sighs then nods at Sephiroth’s request* Ok.. I’ll go do that. *Despite her words, she lingers at Seph’s side for another moment. However, she eventually lets go of him then moves over to Kalysto. Upon reaching his side, she kneels down next to him and gently nudges his shoulder* Hey, you shouldn’t be sitting here. Bad things can happen.
Jenna: *trudges her way up the stairs once she is covered. As she moves, she mutters* So tired.. *Finally, she slips into the room. She blinks as she looks around the room. She then lowers her head in thought* I don’t remember…
Sephiroth: You don’t remember? *snorts* Well that’s great, isn’t it? Why is it here? What does it mean?
Kalysto: *lowers his head and begins to twitch slightly. After a few moments his shoulders shake and he does his best to stifle laughter. He cannot contain it for much longer, and begins to openly laugh, menacingly. He turns his head towards Desiree and gives her a feral frin* Bad things can happen? I am the bad thing that can happen. *his eyes flicker dangerously for a moment and then he relaxes again, quiet, as if nothing happened in the first place*
Desiree: *screws up her face at Kalysto’s actions. She then shakes her head and narrows her eyes* ~Hey, are you alright? Seriously, you’re freaking out or something. Did your mind go to mush when you were hit by that rock?~
Jenna: *shakes her head and closes her eyes* This room.. it’s the council chambers.. but.. they should have died with the others.. There were no survivors.. So, they wouldn’t be here at all. Right? *her voice trails off as she speaks, mostly because she’s trying to concentrate on remembering*
Sephiroth: But they clearly are dead. So why are they here? Why hasn’t this all decayed? *shakes his head and snorts* It’s so stupid. What’s the point of it?
Kalysto: *”Shut up, humanoid weakling. You know nothing of me.”* *slowly moves himself to his feet again and dusts himself off. For the briefest moment, he phase shifts out of reality, but his ability to do it fails a few seconds later, so he gives up on it* I want to get out of here now.
Jenna: *softly mutters, not bothering to open her eyes* Eternal torment for cowards and traitors… Putrid wretches hid… No remorse, never ever. Make them suffer forever for their crimes… *She then looks up, seeming unaware of what she just said and shakes her head* I don’t know any of the answers, Seph.
Desiree: *her frown deepens at Kalysto’s words. She then shakes her head and gets up* Alright, I’ll help you get out of here. Come on. *she grips onto his left hand and tries to lead him out of the room* ~I told you that I’d set you up in a room of your own. Remember?~
Sephiroth: *frowns at Jenna, then slowly shakes his head* Right… *sighs* Come on. Let’s get out of here and forget that this place ever existed. Okay? Go back to sleep.
Kalysto: *”Ah.. do that, do that. I want a basement. Or somewhere without light. Somewhere where the light won’t affect my plans.”*
Jenna: *blinks at Seph’s sudden change of position concerning the room. She then slowly nods* Yes, I suppose I need more sleep.. It’s been unusually hot. *shaking her head, she moves out of the room. Soon enough, she climbs back into the bed. She doesn’t even bother to take off the robe as she prepares to sleep again*
Desiree: Umm… Right… *narrowing her eyes, she looks at Kalysto’s face. She then sighs* ~Seriously, I think there might be something wrong with you..~ *she then begins to lead him out of the room. Within ten minutes, she has brought him back to the level where her room is located. So, she leads him to an empty apartment before casting a spell to light up the room* Does this look acceptable? It’s only a few yards away from where my room is, so you can easily find me for assistance.
Kalysto: No, it’s not acceptable. The moment you did that, *points to her hand*, it became unacceptable. Apart from that… why here? *moves away and begins to inspect the room. He turns his back to her and begins to poke at the walls. During this time, a large pair of black wings with firey red coloured ribbing phase shift into existance from his back and begin flapping in aggitation with his mood, before quickly disintergrating again.*
Sephiroth: *sighs at Jenna then shakes his head, leaving the room again. He pulls the door closed, then begins looking around for something to keep it closed with*
Desiree: *rolls her eyes at Kalysto’s statements. She then shakes her head* Human contact isn’t going to kill you. *she sticks her tongue out of him. She then glances around the room and shrugs* Why here? Umm.. It’s empty, and furnished.. kinda.. *she glances at the bed that is designed for a raptor-like creature and shrugs* We can fix that. And it’s close enough to where I am, so you can easily bother me if you need it. If you don’t like it, I can find another room.. *she scratches the back of her head*
Kalysto: Last time I had proper human contact, it nearly killed me. I have the scars to prove it, too. *shakes his head, then sits down on the raptor bed* Why are you so intent on having me close to you? You wouldn’t let me leave. You wouldn’t…. oh I don’t know. When I left, you followed. And you did that thing in the tunnel just now. *narrows his eyes and flicks his ears back* I don’t need a babysitter.
Desiree: *shrugs* You’re interesting, and you’re all alone here since you come from another world. I might as well help you. *she crosses her arms and frowns* Fine, maybe some humans may hurt you, but I’m not about to do it. You can trust me. *she snorts then looks over him* Do you have problems with receiving help?
Kalysto: Yes, I do. Do you have a problem with my having a problem with receiving help from horrid stupid humanoid hybrids? *pats the bed, then moves back to examine it’s shape* No, this bed is fine… it’s fine. *narrows his eyes* For what I’d use it for, anyway.
