Kalysto: *”Give a damn if you want, I just want this guy to fuck off.”* *glares at Astaroth now* Yeah, yeah, fantastic. *yawn* Stop lording yourself over me and go away now. I’ve lost interest in you. I did what I wanted to and it failed.
Astaroth: *cackles once more and circles around Kalysto* Lording? Lordy, lord, lord? *he chuckles and removes all of his energy’s influences over Kalysto* No, no. That no what I do. Not at all. *he giggles* Lording is control. Control is order. Order is dumb and leads to stand-still. No like order. No at all. *he suddenly moves in closer to press the end of his snout against Kalysto’s nose* You like demon. You smell of demon. Want more power? *with that, he grins*
Desiree: ~Good luck with that bit.. You got his attention.. I don’t think he ever gives up on something once he notices it.~
Kalysto: *his eyes widen slightly at Astaroth’s comments, yelping slightly as he hits the ground again. He furrows his brows and turns his head off to the side, suddenly appearing quite frustrated and evasive* The fact that I smell of Fel-energies is nobody’s business. *glares* What of it? How can you give me more power? Not that I’m asking for it. *waves at Desiree* *”Get ready. I’m going to make a teleport circle out of here and back to your house.”*
Astaroth: *he chuckles* Me being primordal. Exist before all life. Power come, power go. Easy enough to make it all happen. *he licks his lips then tilts his head to the side* Can give you tester period. Will be fun. Very much so. Just let you have more of little demon who are dumb. Take from them, make them angry. Will be funny!
Desiree: *loudly groans as she listens to Astaroth* ~I really do hate this guy..~
Kalysto: *raises his hands, then begins burning his teleportation rune circle into the floor* Uh huh. Keep talking. Somebody might actually be interested in what you have to say. Eventually. *glances around the area, checking to see if there’s anything else that might disrupt him*
Astaroth: Mmmm.. *He narrows his eyes as he watches the warlock for another few moments. Suddenly, he phases out of existence, moving into the astral plane. While he’s in the astral plane, he senses out the spirits of the strongest demons that he can locate before plunging into them and sucking out large quantities of their powers. He rapidly hits demon after demon, draining them and gathering up the energy and properties of the various creatures. After he notices that there are a good number of angry demons, he returns to the physical plane. Upon his return, he plunges at Kalysto and slams his gathered energies into the warlock in an attempt to combine them with Kalysto. The actual legnth of this entire event would be less than fifteen seconds* Here, gift, gift.
Desiree: *notices the runes forming on the ground. She then shuffles over to stand next to him, hoping that she’d be teleported as well*
Kalysto: *was just finishing up with branding the runes into the ground when Astaroth returns from the Astral Plane with his gifts. When they are slammed into the Blood Elf, he literally breaks his casting and falls over, seeming to be stunned. However, for the time being he is just very high on their energies*
Astaroth: *Giggles and hovers over Kalysto for a few more moments* A few weeks, yes, that most likely. *he nods* Merge they will, power be given. Have fun. Play, play, play! *he flips about in the air then begins to glide away*
Desiree: *Yelps in suprise as Kalysto falls over. She then kneels down next to him and begins to shake him* Hey! Are you ok?
Kalysto: *vaguely stares ahead, appearing to be either very high, or very drunk. He curls up on the ground and closes his eyes, seeming to be in a state of euphoria now. He doesn’t reply to Desiree at all, and instead lightly hums, very pleased with himself*
Desiree: *Whimpers slightly, not fully liking the fact that Kalysto is being unresponsive. She then begins to shake him with even more vigor* Hey! Come on.. Snap out of it. We were going to get out of here. Remember? Out. *yelps as she hears explosions from up above due to the still active battle that Kadaj has been waging against the Weapon while utilizing various summon materias*
Kalysto: *makes a weak sound and shakes his head, grinning* No… *relaxes his posture, lookign up at the ceiling, humming at the noises* Chaos reigns supreme…
Desiree: *Groans in frustration. She then grips onto Kalysto’s arms and literally yanks him up. If he were not to stand up on his own after being pulled up, she’d lean him up against herself as she wraps her right arm around his waist in order to keep a firm grip on him* Come on, snap out of it. Remember, teleportation. *she points at the runes down at there feet* Go ahead, finish it. Or do you want to die?
Kalysto: *begins to laugh as if Desiree’s words were some hilarious joke* Do I want to die….? Does anyone? Heh… *leans on her and begins to grin maliciously* I’ve been to hell. I sold my soul to the demon, so to speak… you can’t bring death down on one who deals it… idiotic…
Desiree: Oh for.. Of course you can still die! As long as you are still mortal, you can still be killed! Come on, don’t be an idiot. I’ve talked to demons and all that too, that doesn’t make me immortal. *she shakes her head and glances at the runes once more* This thing had better be complete. *with that, she tries to charge the runes with her magical powers*
Kalysto: Teleportation… no I don’t want to die. Do you? You’re closer to death than I am… *glances down at the rune circle, then raises his hands up, teleporting everything within a 5 meter radius to Desiree’s bedroom. The room would be showered with rocks and debris and whatever else was yanked out from the radial sphere when teleported. One large chunk of rock hits the Blood Elf on the head and he collapses onto the floor*
Desiree: *loudly yelps as the rocks pelt her as she reappears in her room. Groaning, she slowly shakes her head then glances down at Kalysto* Man.. You just have problems staying aware,don’t you? *releasing a deep sigh, she grips onto his shoulders, she then slowly pulls him onto her bed. She carefully positions him onto the bed then blinks as her hands rub up against his skin. Shrugging at the sensation, she turns around then settles down on the floor* We’ll find you a room when you’re awake again.
Kalysto: *makes a pathetic sound and stays down on the bed, not really wanting to move now. He would remain that way for a good number of hours if left alone to his own devices. However, if he is moved, he wouldnt do anything to try and stop the mover*
Desiree: *at first, all she does is read while remaining on the floor. However, after a few hours, she becomes sleepy. So, she looks up at Kalysto before standing up to poke him slightly to see if he’s close to waking up. After determining that the man is still a log, she shrugs then decides to grab some of her extra blankets. Soon enough, she makes a bed on the floor before curling up and sleeping*
Kalysto: *wakes up about five hours later, still rather high on the demon-energies given to him. He stumbles out of the bed, then sleepily wanders out of the room, his shoulder smacking against the door frame as he exits Desiree’s bedroom. He looks around him for a few moments, then wanders to the stairs, wandering off down one of the corridors to explore*
Desiree: *was still asleep when Kalysto woke up. However, with him walking past her then bumping into the doorway, she begins to stir. After a moment, she slowly pushes herself off the ground then rubs her eyes* Huh? *she glances around then sighs as she notices that the elf is gone. So, she slowly gets to her feet then moves to track him down*
Kalysto: *still seems to be in a mild daze. He kicks at the ground once in the tunneled area, not really knowing where he is. He walks along near the walls, seeming to be doing the same task he was doing back in the tunnels – searching for crystals. By the time Desiree spots him, he is picking up random rocks and stuffing them in his pocket*
Desiree: *yawns as she continues to look for Kalysto* What the heck is that guy doing..? *Sighing, she decides to psychically track Kalysto down*
*Unfortunately for Kalysto, there are no crystals around. However, if he were to grope around at the rocks in the corridor that he’s in, he may find a large pile that is hiding a rather large pair of doors that were originally meant for dragon-kind. The rock-pile is composed of rather small rocks, so it would not be hard to push it away. One the rocks are gone, he would find that the doors are ajar*
Kalysto: *stumbles over the rocks, curious as he finds the door. The ambient light from his eyes lights the way through the dark, so he has no trouble seeing around. When he finds the large doors, he taps on them, seeing if they open more than they already are*
*The doors release a loud screaching noise as they move. However, there is nothing hindering them from being opened. On the other side of the wall, there is a large room which clearly used to be a throne/council chamber for a dragon family. There are ornate statues and furnishings scattered all throughout the room. Or, at least they would have been ornate if not for the blood that had been splattered all throughout the room. At the space which was meant to be a throne for the reigning white dragon, there is the carcass of the once leader of Halcyon, which had been burnt, blasted, and hacked by a great power. Its form is sprawled out across the steps, frozen in the throes of death. What is most startling about this corpse is the fact that it had been cursed in such a way that it is frozen forever in a limbo where it will never live again, but never die either. Hence, the body is still bleeding and experiencing the last moments of its life. However, the dragon cannot interact, for it is dead as well. There are other bodies in the room, but none of the others are quite as fascinating. Furthermore, a dark, yet not deep, chuckling can be heard in the room from time to time, for the entire area has been separated from the normal passage of time*
Desiree: *frowns as she stumbles around in the dark corridor where Kalysto had gone through. She then calls his name as she comes near* Kalysto! What are you doing here…?
Kalysto: *for the first time since his encounter with Astaroth, he seems more aware and less drugged out about the situation. He looks around the room, his eyes falling on the white dragon. He moves into the room properly, moving a hand back for the door when he discovers that this place feels different* What…? I’m exploring, duh.
