Jenova: *makes a loud screeching sound at the explosion overhead and retreats futher into the tunnels with her prize* *”An intruder! Get them at once!”* *maximizes her manipulative hold over Sephiroth, then tries to cram her tentacles into his mouth so she can attempt to meld with his being again. Sephiroth only gags in reply*
Loz: *ducks and covers his head* It’s a bomb! *grabs Desiree by the arm and tries to yank her away*
Kalysto: *flatly* You have no desire to simply destroy things that are not worth it? You could have found the entrance to those tunnels. *shrugs and raises his hands up, channelling the stray energies of the air into his palms so he can use them for spells*
Jenna: *snarls as she determines that her explosion only took our a layer or the street and not the entire thing. So, she begins charging up another spell* I could do that, yes. However, that would mean that I’d take up more time on such. I do not want to waste time!
Desiree: *yelps as she watches Jenova move further back with her Father. Slowly, while the clones are distracted, she gets to her feet then tries to slip away from them and toward where Sephiroth and Jenova have gone to. However, she soon yelps as Loz grips onto her*
Kadaj: *growls as he hears the explosion. He then barks out* Loz, Yazoo, stay calm and keep alert. Mother must be protected!
Kalysto: *rolls his eyes at Jenna’s comment, then flicks a hand towards her and begins to funnel collected energies from himself into her gathering spell* So blow it up better next time, you careless mage. *shrugs* What do you want me to do, steal something large from the Nether to tear it all apart?
Loz: Mother’s already safe, brother! She’s playing with big brother… she can use him as a shield. We can stay here and play with the explosion-maker. Can’t we?
Jenna: *blinks as she feels Kalysto send energies toward her. She then shakes her head and mutters* Thanks, but I didn’t need that… *Soon enough, she tosses the next spell down onto the ground. This time around, it creates a hole straight down to the train tracks* Much better.. *she moves to the edge of the hole and looks down*
Kadaj: Yes! Play with the explosion maker! Make them pay! Do it!
Loz: Right… *leaves Desiree down the hole with the other brothers and promptly leaps up the rubbled levels from the underground, finally flying out of the hole, swinging around to face his opponents. He charges his electro-fist weapon, then swings it back and attempts to punch Jenna, haymaker style, as he comes down on her*
Jenna: *her eyes momentarily widen as she notices Loz heading her way. However, she doesn’t allow her surprise to ruin her ability to react. So, rather than staying still in one spot, she leaps back as he tries to punch her. She then snorts* Slow… *She clicks the claws of her right gloves against each other* What are you doing with my daughter, Loz?
Desiree: *sighs as she notices that the three clones are most definitely concentrating on the ruckus above. So, she slips away and heads to where her Father is* Father??
Jenova: *makes a loud feral hissing sound, similar to that of a predator that is having it’s food contested over. She is rather quick to shift forms, adopting her BIRTH form which barely fits into the tunnel. She shoves Sephiroth behind her mass, then raises her fleshy shoulder claws, reaching down at Desiree, intending to go for her next*
Loz: I wasn’t doing anything with her! *with Jenna gone from the position he was punching at, he continues to move forwards with the punching/swinging momentum and comes down out of the sky on the end of his leap, crashing down into the rubble, feet first. His boots make a loud banging sound as he lands, and he looks up at her, gritting his teeth, snarling* I don’t know how you escaped that one.
Desiree: *yelps and scrambles back a bit as Jenova comes after her. Unfortunately, in her haste, she winds up tripping over herself, so she falls back onto her back. She then whimpers and tries to send a psychic blast Jenova’s way* Stay away! I just want to check up on Father.
Jenna: *straightens up before moving into a battle-ready position. She continues to click the claws of her right glove against each other as she watches Loz* Oh, I don’t know. Perhaps it’s because I have hundreds of years more experience than you, I’ve fought nearly every minute of my life to date, and my reaction time is next to seamless due to all of that?
Jenova: *chuckles, making a loud hissing sound* *”Check up on? Soon he will no longer exist. If nobody interferres, his mind, body and power will belong to me. Every time you persist with his freedom, I will persist with his capture. You will never win.”*
Loz: Still, nobody can escape my speediness. You’re just being a coward. Now play nice! *leaps at Jenna again and tries to punch her down*
Kalysto: *keeps on the sidelines while Loz’s focus is on Jenna, then casts a reduced movement speed curse on him as well as some small incineration spells that would gradually burn with more intensity in time*
Jenna: *doesn’t seem too concerned about Loz’s speed at all. Instead, she readily opens the fight with Loz. She tries to block his one punch while providing a punch of her own at his abdomen. She then follows through with her momentum in order to grip onto his arm and flip him over her head and onto the ground* Child, you don’t have the skill to fight properly. But if you want to fight me, come. I’ll “play” with you.
Desiree: *whimpers then narrows her eyes* No, Father doesn’t deserve that at all. Why do you pick on him all the time??
*there is a distant rumbling and then a loud heavy bass roar. The ground begins to shake with each step, and then the dark blue armored WEAPON appears at the edge of the horizon, heading for them. It looks quite angry and rigid and as it approaches, it makes another angry roar, stomping it’s feet to shake the ground*
Jenova: *loudly hisses at Desiree, then tries to retreat further down the tunnel* *”Back away! Back, you!”* *forms a tentacle appendage on her front side and lashes it out at Desiree, wanting to choke her*
Loz: *becomes rather confused as he is flipped over Jenna’s head, then swings his body, landing heavily on his feet. He quickly turns around and faces his opponent again, extending the fist weapon’s shock-knuckles* That’s really cute. You want to play, huh? I’ve been waiting for this. *promptly runs ahead, darting at Jenna, alternating from one side, then the other in an attempt to confuse her. Once he approaches her, he runs past her, attempting to leg sweep her off her feet, also trying to punch her in the stomach. For now, he absolutely ignores the approaching WEAPON and is more interested in the fight*
Kalysto: *stays out of the way for the time being, turning his attention to the surrounding area. When he sees the approaching WEAPON, he pins his ears back* What the fuck is that?
Desiree: *her eyes widen as the ground above her shakes. So, she stares up at the ceiling as the WEAPON approaches and roars. Due to her distracted state, she soon finds herself with a tentacle wrapped around her throat. Struggling for breath, she reaches up and tries to pry the tentacle off her* ~Let go…~
Jenna: *grits her teeth as she hears the roaring. However, she doesn’t have the time to worry about the WEAPON. Instead, she keeps her attention focused on Loz. She manages to step to the side enough to keep her feet from being swept out from under her. However, she is hit back a bit as Loz slams his fist into her stomach. Grunting, she shakes her head then rushes in to him in return, choosing to ignore the throbbing in her midsection. As she nears, she tries to slam her knee into his side. She then follows through by trying to slam the base of her palm into his chin*
Loz: *because he has turned his attention to the WEAPON, Jenna is successful in knocking him off his feet, landing hard on his back. As it approaches, he quickly sits up and tries to escape back down the hole* Brothers, something is coming for us! It’s huge and it looks really mad!
Jenova: *”Never!”* *Makes a loud hissing sound* *”I will never let go!”* *raises the tentacle around Desiree, then tries to fling her down the train tunnel and away from her* *”I have been here thousands of years and to claim this planet is my birthright and my existance. You cannot stop me from acheiving what I was born to do.”* *yanks Sephiroth under her, then holds him out in front of herself, purring at her little trinket*
Sapphire WEAPON: *approaches the edge of the town, stomping down anything under its feet. Its eyes glow brightly as it comes close to Jenova’s location, then it jams it’s claws into the soil and begins to tear the ground up*
Jenna: *steps back as she watches Loz run away from her. She then groans and grips onto the area where he had punched her, finally allowing her pain to show. Shaking her head, she snorts then tries to recompose herself* Damnit.. careless.
Desiree: *releases a pained gasp as she’s thrown across the area. She then whimpers in pain* ~Why do you always go after father?? Why? Why is he so special… Leave him alone. Take me instead.~ *She slowly crawls to her feet and glances at Sephiroth, whimpering*
Kadaj: *hisses and yells back up to Loz* We need to keep mother safe!
Kalysto: I repeat… what the hell is that thing…?? *stares at the monolith creature and backs up, not wanting to be anywhere near it when it enrages*
Jenova: *”Use.. you? You’re not even worth it. For a start you don’t have power anywhere close to his, and you wouldn’t nearly be as useful as him either.”* *hisses as the WEAPON’s claws begin to tear up soil nearby, then quickly snaps Sephiroth’s neck and lies on him, poking whatver parts of her she can manage into him*
Desiree: ~Yes, use me! Use me, dammit! Father wouldn’t dare touch you if you’re in me. He’ll do anything that you want him to just to keep me safe. Mother wouldn’t kill you either. You’ll have more power by using me than by going after Father all over again…~ *she frowns then closes her eyes* ~Father, you’re strong.. Fight her.~
Jenna: *backs up toward Kalysto. She then calmly speaks* That is a WEAPON. It is a creature born directly from this planet that is meant to be its guardian. *She shakes her head* If I needed to take it on.. I think I can. However, it shouldn’t be after us.
Kalysto: It doesn’t look like it’s after us… but I don’t want to be around in case it decides that it doesn’t like us. *frowns* Can we get your daughter and go now? Please?
Jenova: *hisses in amusement, morphing the tentacle in Sephiroth’s mouth into superfine strands which she stabs through the roof of his mouth and accesses his brain. Once the tentacle fibers are coiled around various lobes in the brain, she begins to feed energy into the mind, abusing Sephiroth’s abilities to reply to Desiree* *”Fight her…? Why should I? I have what I always wanted. I exist to serve. To be nothing. To be consumed….”*
Sapphire WEAPON: *makes a loud angry roaring sound as it digs further down into the soil. Soon enough, it’s claws breach Jenova’s level of the tunnel, and it jams the claws into the tunnel and begins trying to rip it up*
Jenna: *Grits her teeth and glances down toward the hole* It wouldn’t be a run in and out job.. Those idiots are down there and ready to fight. *she shakes her head* It might be easier to get my daughter once they’re completely distracted with the approaching WEAPON.. *She crosses her arms* Abusing opportunities never hurts.
Desiree: *whines as she realizes what Jenova just did. She then rushes up to Jenova and begins to pound on her side* Stop that! I already told you to take me. Father will do anything you want even without you controlling him if you take me.. He doesn’t deserve to be fucked with any longer… Just.. Please, take me and leave him alone.
Jenova: *makes a loud angry panicked screeching noise at Desiree and attempts to whack her away, not wanting her anywhere nearby* *”Get away from me, persistent annoying brat!”* *slinks back down the tunnel with Sephiroth’s corpse in an attempt to escape from the WEAPON*
Kalysto: It looks like it wouldn’t be an anything job. *frowns* I say we get out of here as soon as possible….
Sapphire WEAPON: *for now it just seems intent on it’s digging. However, once its digging steers off-course, it may be hard to predict what it’s planning. At least until it digs a hole wide enough to fit it’s head into. Once that is done, it places it’s opened jaw into the hole and begins to charge up a rather large energy ball, its angry glaring eyes focussed on Jenova’s location*
Desiree: *Whines in frustration. She then shakes her head and looks around in desperation. Soon enough, she tries to cast an illusion spell over Jenova, trying to make her loose track of where Sephiroth is or at least make Jenova think that she is Sephiroth* Come on.. Leave father alone..
Jenna: *snorts in irritation* You may run away if you wish. I am not about to leave my daughter around. *she glances at Kalysto* You seem to be a grade-A coward either way. *Shrugging, she moves to jump down the hole. She then hisses as Kadaj nearly immediately lunges at her and tries to slash off her head*
Jenova: *hisses at Desiree* *”Leave me alone, you meddling brat! I don’t know what you are trying to pull, but…”* *comes out of her hole, coiling her tentacles around Desiree’s neck again. She throws Sephiroth’s corpse to one side and now seems more intent on killing Desiree than anything else*
Sapphire Weapon: *makes a frustrated roar as it tries to dig down to Jenova. It continues to smash up the tunnel, finally scraping it’s claws down where she is. In his frenzied swiping, he slashes off her tentacles, then tries to skewer her on his claws*
Kalysto: *makes a loud yelping sound and darts off to the side, immediately attempting to curse Kadaj with a slowed movement spell* Get him!
Desiree: *yelps as she’s gripped onto by Jenova. She then reaches up in order to try to pry off the tentacle from her neck* ~Father.. Please.. You’re strong.. Fight her. You can do it. I know you can. You controlled her before..~ *her eyes then widen as she sees the WEAPON moves about behind Jenova* ~I’m going to die..~
Jenna: *reaches up to block the blades with the metal of her gloves. She then grunts in frustration as she takes notice of the pressure that Kadaj is applying to her swing* You’re definitely Sephiroth’s clone.. That’s for certain. *she then tilts her head as she notices that Kadaj’s movements are impaired. However, never one to say no to an opportunity, she wastes no time in delivering a swift slam of the knee into Kadaj’s groin. She then jumps away as the younger boy collapses onto the ground in pain*
Kadaj: *grits his teeth* Witch.. You have no honor at all.
Jenna: *shrugs* Don’t care. *She then turns around and begins to race back toward where she can sense Desiree. However, she frowns as she notices a second presence* ~Seph??~
Yazoo: *narrows his eyes as he notices that Kalysto is helping out Jenna. He then holds out his left hand before calling forth Shiva with a summon materia*
Sapphire WEAPON: *once close enough, it buries it’s face into the ground, taking a huge chunk out of it as it bites down hard at the soil, not seeming to care about the smaller lifeforms moving around it. It raises its head to spit out the rubble and attempts the same manoevuer, this time managing to bite Jenova with it’s teeth. It clamps them down hard on her and rises up again, then begins to slowly stomp off the way it came, carrying the screeching alien in it’s teeth*
Sephiroth: *is still quite dead at the moment and doesn’t reply*
Kalysto: *is still focussed on assisting Jenna with Kadaj when Yazoo summons the Shiva materia and doesn’t notice it for now*
Desiree: *continues to stare up at the WEAPON as it begins to carry Jenova away. Quickly shaking her head to snap herself out of her stupor. Then, she shakily makes her way to Sephiroth and begins to shake him* Father.. Come on. Revive already.
Jenna: *continues to dash away from the clones. She then skids to a stop as she spots Desiree and Sephiroth. Sparing Sephiroth a momentarily glance, she decides to focus on Desiree* Girl, are you alright?
Shiva: *twirls around as she appears. She then turns her attention on her designated target, Kalysto. Soon enough, she holds up her hands and begins to charge an ice blast to send his way. She charges her blast, the area around Kalysto begins to frost over*
Kalysto: *stares in confusion as the large ice woman comes towards him. He does his best to deflect the icy blast, but is struck by most of it. He shakes himself off and attempts to curse the summoned creature by impairing her movement speed, then begins to run away through the rubble* Shit, shit, shit, shit, shiiit!!
Sephiroth: *is still a corpse right now and has his neck snapped. There are also severed tentacles sticking out of his mouth and his ears, so he looks inanimate and weird*
