Kalysto: *coldly speaks to Yazoo once he is knocked out of the spell* Fuck you. You think you’re in charge, but you’re not. You’ll want to keep an eye on me, because I’m going to rip you apart and there won’t be anything left of you. They won’t be able to identify you once I’ve splattered your innards across the walls of this cavern. *glances at Desiree* *”It would take me a few seconds to meld with the nether, but if they shoot me again, I’m dead for good. The other option is to use the teleportation rune circle, but I’m probably too far away from one right now. Why?”*
Desiree: *she frowns and glances around* ~They want those with Jenova cells like myself and Father. They don’t want you. Just, try to get back to Halcyon, that place where you appeared. My mother is there. She can help.. She’s cruel, evil, and a bitch, but she’ll help my father. She’ll do that much.~ *she narrows her eyes* ~I’ll make a distraction. Go.~ *with that, she leaps onto her feet. She then rushes over toward Sephiroth, acting as if she wants to come to his aid*
Yazoo: *his eyes temporarily widen as he watches the perviously whimpering female hop up onto her feet. Soon enough, he begins to chase after her, for he wants to protect his mother*
Kadaj: *growls in irritation as Desiree runs off* Stay put! *grumbling in irritation, he moves toward Jenova as well, wanting to protect her*
Kalysto: *flicks his ears, watching Desiree make the distraction. He raises his hands up, then teleports himself away after a few seconds, leaving behind an array of shadowy energy and dust, which both waft away into the air. He targets the rune-circle in Desiree’s bedroom, teleporting to that exact spot moments later, then begins to look around the room, moving out of the doorway* Hello? *frowns in dissaproval, muttering aloud* This place stinks… I really hate humans…
Jenna: *is still on her bed, comforting Dimitri and casting minor healing spells in order to make his wing hurt a bit less. She frowns as she wonders where Seph wandered off to. However, since she trusts him, she doesn’t actively worry too much*
Desiree: *yelps in pain as Kadaj tackles her to the ground just a few feet away from where Sephiroth is. She then loudly whines in pain*
Sephiroth: *makes a loud snarl as Desiree is tackled to the ground and rips Jenova’s tentacles off himself and rushes to Desiree’s side, kicking Kadaj as hard as he can in an attempt to make him get off his daughter* Get off her at once!!
Kalysto: *pins his ears back as he sees Jenna, then loudly sighs in discontentment* You. Mage. I was sent by… some human hybrid chick. I forget her name. Anyway she’s really bossy. She told me to come here and get your help as you”re her mother? *shrugs* Anyway, she has been caught by three repulsive smelling humans with grey hair. There’s another with long grey hair, but I don’t think he’s with them. There’s also a horrible smelling monster with tentacles.
Kadaj: *growls as Sephiroth kicks him. He then stands up and backs away from Desiree, though he keeps his sword out and in a ready position* Mother, the girl tried to run for it. I had to keep her detained. *he glares at Desiree*
Desiree: *whimpers in pain. She then quickly shuffles over to Sephiroth’s side, hoping to get as much protection as she can get* Father…
Jenna: *blinks as Kalysto barges into her bedroom. She then tilts her head to the side* “Mage”? I usually am referred to as a sorceress.. *she shrugs, not really caring. She then pats Dimitri’s head before standing up and crossing her arms as she listens to Kalysto* So, a lot of things that smell have my daughter?
Dimitri: *releases a brief whine as Jenna stands up, for he wanted more attention. Flapping his wings in frustration, he gets to his feet then moves to hug onto Jenna’s side*
Sephiroth: *tenses his body and makes a loud feral growl at Kadaj, bearing his teeth in a snarl. After a moment he raises his left hand and attempts to smack the blades of Kadaj’s sword away* I’m damn sick of being threatened by inferiority. Stop bothering us.
Kalysto: I just told you, woman. They have silver hair of varying lengths and they’re humans. One of them has a gun and thought he could do away with me.
Kadaj: *hisses in irritation as Sephiroth smacks at his sword. He then narrows his eyes before looking at Jenova* ~Mother, are you going to permit him to continue being defiant like this? I am only trying to protect you.~ *He grits his teeth and glances at Sephiroth once more. He then steps back a bit* If that girl of yours acts up again, big brother, I will teach her a lesson.
Jenna: *groans at Kalysto’s attempted descriptions. She then shakes her head and moves closer to him* I still am not fully certain if I understand what you are trying to say. Your ability to describe situations seems to be stunted. *she sighs* Can you lead me to where this situation is occurring?
Kalysto: No, I can’t lead you back there. I didn’t make a rune-circle before I left, so I can’t teleport back to that spot. It was in a city. That smelled of decaying magic. *folds his arms and flicks his ears back* I’ve given you as much of a description as I could.
Jenova: *chuckles* *”No.”* *coils her tentacles around Sephiroth again, this time tightly crushing him, also taking over his mind so he won’t put up any more resistance. She pushes Desiree and Kadaj away, hissing* *”Leave us alone.”* *crawls back down the train tunnel, heading into the darkness with her prize*
Jenna: *clicks her claws together in irritation. She then hisses before moving up the stairs* Come with me. If you can’t properly describe where and what went on, you can at least confirm that my guess as to what the hell you’re trying to say is right! *angrily snorting, she storms up the stairs. Meanwhile, her eyes are flaring with her magical energies since she is quite irritated*
Dimitri: *whimpers once more as Jenna leaves the room. He then flaps his free wing before scooting over to lie in the middle of the bed*
Desiree: *yelps as she watches Jenova strike out at Sephiroth once more* ~Father?? Are you alright?~
Kalysto: No way am I going with you. I relayed the message as I was told to. Now I’m free, I’m getting the hell out of here. *waves to Jenna and runs back to Desiree’s room so he can stand on the rune-circle* Now, it got burned here somehow… *feels the floor*
*there is no real psychic response from Sephiroth right now. Just a weak crackle as he tries to reply, which is quickly snuffed out by Jenova*
Jenna: *growls as she watches Kalysto run away. Soon enough, she tracks him down by using her sensing abilities. Upon finding him, she moves to lean against the doorway and glares at him* Having fun?
Kalysto: Damn mages…. ugh. No, I’m not having fun. I’m leaving now. See you later. Bye bye. Shorel’aran. Al diel shala. And all the rest of that crap. *attempts to cast his short-duration silencing spell on her and makes a break for the stairs*
Jenna: *tilts her head as she feels Kalysto try to silence her spell-casting abilities. However, rather than panic about his actions, she reaches out to grab onto his arm. If she does successfully grip onto him, she would slam him against the wall and twist his arm behind his back* I do not know why you keep on insisting on calling me “mage”. However, you know where my daughter is. She is in trouble, and she clearly thought you were the one to send to get help. So, I must insist that you follow through with that. *growls*
Kalysto: She sent me to get help. I found you. I relayed the information to you. My job is done. *cringes as he is slammed against the wall and presses himself to it, becoming rather passive now* Ow, my arm doesn’t bend that way, damn you! *flicks his ears back as far as they will go* What more do you want from me? What do I look like, some kind of holy hero to you? Do I look like I’m a Paladin? Where the hell is my plate, huh?
Jenna: *narrows her eyes and snorts in aggitation* Paladin? Plate? What the fuck are you talking about?? *she shakes her head* I don’t give a damn what you are. You clearly don’t know how to word what you know in ways that I understand. So, one way or another, you’re going to help me find where my daughter is. *she leans in closer to whisper into his ear* Even if I have to break every bone in your body before you agree, I’ll get you to help.
Kalysto: You can kill me if you want, it won’t matter. I’ve already been to hell – they sent me back. *grins back at her, then narrows his eyes and attempts to curse her with a slow movement spell. He also tries to wriggle out of her grip, yanking his arm away*
Jenna: *hisses in annoyance as the spell is cast over her. She then tries to tighten her grip on Kalysto* Damn you. Do you not care about anyone else other than yourself? And I don’t give a damn if you think you’ve been to hell. *she growls once more* I have died many more times than you want to even think of. I have seen more than enough after lives that it is not even funny.
Kalysto: Blah blah blah blah blah. Pick up a phone and your local social-help line and call somebody who cares. *once again tries to wiggle out of her grasp, then gives up, glaring back at her* Fine. Hold me here if you want to. I did my job. Why are you expecting me to do more? It’s not like I’m involved with any of these people!
Jenna: You clearly cared enough to come here and get me to start with. I hardly doubt that my daughter had anything over your head that forced you to get me at all. So, why the hell are you being such a stubborn bastard about this? *she snorts then grumbles* Fuck it, I’m not arguing with you any longer. *with those words, she tosses Kalysto to the side* Go back to staring at the floor.
Kalysto: But I wasn’t staring at the floor in the first place. *once he is shoved away, he stumbles a bit before gaining his balance. He dusts himself off, then narrows his eyes, shaking his head at Jenna* Damn mages… why don’t you just teleport there, make a portal, and come back here?
Jenna: Why do you keep on calling me a mage? *she shakes her head and snorts* And if I don’t know where “there” is, how the hell can I teleport there, hm? *she crosses her arms* You must truly be the most self-serving idiot in the multi-verse.
Kalysto: You’re a mage because you smell like one. And you don’t smell like anything else, so… *points to her face* Your eyes – they’re the dead-giveaway. The eyes are the window to the soul, afterall. *sighs tiredly* If I go show you where these people are, will you leave me alone?
Jenna: I repeat, most people call me a sorceress. I’ve never once heard anyone other than you call me a mage. I do not even know what you think mages are or what planet you’re from. We’re clearly not from the same place. *she snorts* Or are you too stupid to figure that much out? *she crosses her arms* And if you help me find my daughter, we shall see what happens.
