Desiree: Umm.. Yea, I know what you just did.. That much I know. But you went completely out of it. I tried talking to you and snapping you out of whatever the hell it was. You just.. were completely out of it. *she glances back at Loz, quite worried* He’s probalby not going to stay down for long… *whimpers then shakes her head*
Kalysto: I don’t care what I was. I’m not like that now. *flattens his ears* You’re worried about the weak piece of trash at your feet? So break his damn neck. Melt his innards, set him on fire, shatter his soul. Do whatever you have to so he’s not going to get up again. *glares back at the dragon, then begins to walk away* *”Vile whore. I’ll see to it one day that you meet your end.”*
Loz: *moves to sit up, having recovered somewhat from his experience. He glances over at Desiree, then loudly chuckles and tries to trip her up*
Desiree: But.. Loz isn’t quite that bad.. He’s just mis- *she then yelps as Loz moves in on her again. After falling flat on her face, she groans then tries to jump back onto her feet* Loz, stop it! I don’t want to go see your mother.
Yazoo: *had been watching the progress of his brother’s game from a distance. He then frowns as he watches the other male begin to walk away from both his niece and Loz. So, he tilts his head before holding up his left hand. Soon enough, several shadows form in the field before a number of shadow-creepers explode from the shadows and begin to converge on both Desiree and Kalysto*
Loz: We need you to get to big brother, and to make mother pleased. Try to understand that… *stares at the shadowcreepers and moves to his feet to watch them do their work. He glances back at Yazoo and shakes his head* *”Don’t let them kill her. Mother wants her alive…”*
Kalysto: *simply narrows his eyes as he sees the shadowcreepers run towards him. He raises his hands and casts an immolation spell on one, attempting to shock the other by casting a spell on it’s mind to trick it, disable it, and make it see it’s worst fears* How cheap. I’ve fraternized with demons from the seventh layer of hell. You’re not going to take me down easily.
Yazoo: *turns his attention to Loz for a brief moment. He then nods* Yes, I know. Do not worry, brother. They will not be killed. *with that, he pulls out his velvet nightmare and aims for Kalysto while the elf is busy battling the shadow creepers, who are easily disintegrated into black particles. However, the shadow creepers also keep on returning in mass just as quickly as they are killed. Soon enough, he fires two shots at the elf, one aimed at his forehead, hoping to graze the elf’s head and knock him out, while the other shot is aimed at the elf’s right shoulder*
Desiree: *hisses at the mass of creatures that have spawned around her. She then begins trying to punch and kick at them. However, the mass majority of her attention remains on Loz. Due to her split attention levels, she’s soon overwhelmed by the shadow creepers and is pushed to the ground* Urk…
Kalysto: *burns down a lot of the encroaching shadowcreepers with a combination of flame spells and spells in their own element. He hears the sound of the gun and attempts to cast a phase-shift spell to phase him out of the tangible world, but is too slow to react and is knocked off his feet as the bullet strikes him in the forehead, collapsing to the ground like a bag of meat, quite still and dead after it*
Loz: Are you going to submit and come with us now, Desiree? *whacks one of the stray Shadowcreepers away and tries to crouch down beside her* *”Just go along with it, OK? One day we’ll all be friends again and we’ll be free to play as we choose. Not as anyone else says…”*
Desiree: *her eyes widen as she hears the gun-shot. She then glances back to where Kalysto is, whimpering as she watches him collapse to the gruond* Damn.. *she then yelps as a shadow creeper pins her to the ground. She is still whimpering when Loz moves closer to her. She then lowers her head and nods* I.. submit..
Yazoo: *jumps off the pile of junk that he was standing on. Soon after, he waves his left hand to dismiss the shadow creepers. Soon enough, he gathers up Kalysto’s body and begins dragging it to where Jenova and Kadaj are hiding* Come on, brother. Mother is waiting.
Loz: *offers a hand to Desiree, narrowing his eyes* You submit? Come on, then. Come with us and don’t put up a fight and it won’t get any worse for you. We’ll have to play another day. *follows Yazoo’s lead*
Desiree: *whimpers once more and glances at the ground. She rubs at her arms, which are forming a few bruises from the fight that she had just been in. Soon enough, she shuffles behind Loz, following him into the rail system where Kadaj and Jenova are hiding*
Yazoo: *dumps Kalysto’s body onto one of the tracks. He then moves over to Loz’s side* Good work, brother. *he nods in approval. Then, he shoves Desiree over to Jenova* Mother, here is Big Brother’s daughter.
Jenova: *purrs once Desiree has been brought into the underground rail system where they are currently holed up. She moves towards the girl and pushes Loz aside, coiling a tentacle around Desiree’s arm, stroking her face with a hand* *”Very good. It is inferior to the brat, but it will do for now.”* *grins* *”Girl. You shall have the privelage of bringing your biological father to us. You shall contact him and tell him the situation. He is weak and will come to your aid. And then we shall capture him and begin the Reunion all over again.”* *snickers* *”The Planet’s Guardian won’t stand a chance against all of us.”*
Kalysto: *once his corpse is thrown onto the ground, he lies there, still quite motionless for now. However, his soul and prescence are quite closeby and obvious to one whom would be able to sense such*
Desiree: *hisses in annoyance as Jenova wraps her tentacle around her arm. She then shoots a glare at Jenova before grumbling* Fine… *she glances at the clones for a bit, deciding that there’s no way that she can take on all three of them and Jenova. So, instead, she closes her eyes and concentrates on contacting Sephiroth* ~Father.. I need you.~ *she begins streaming to his mind her memories of the last few minutes*
Kadaj: *broadly grins as he looks over Desiree* Good work, Loz. *with that, he leans against the wall and pulls out his souba so that he can sharpen the blades*
Sephiroth: *sends Desiree a telepathic feeling of his irritation, then shakes his head* *”I just left Junon because you didn’t want to be reasoned with. And now you’re asking for my help?”* *scowls* *”What the hell did you get yourself into this time?”*
Desiree: *continues to whimper as she looks at the tentacle that is wrapped about her arm. She then glances over at Kalysto. She blinks as she notices his spirit. However, she soon lowers her head, seeming even sadder* ~Father.. Please, come.~ *she continues trying to send him an impression of her memories of the last few minutes. She also tries to send images of her current perdicatment*
Kadaj: *narrows his eyes in thought* Mother, we should make certain that Sephiroth comes alone. Shouldn’t we? *with that, he moves closer to Desiree and presses the tip of his souba against her neck* Tell him not to bring anyone!
Desiree: *scowls as the blade is pressed against her neck* ~Father, they want you to come alone..~
Sephiroth: *growls at the situation, then slowly shakes his head, sighing* Jen.. I will be back later. Something has started and I must go and see to it. *lightly purrs at her, then moves off the bed, once again exitting the base so he can teleport to Desiree’s location. He scowls with disgust at the others, then folds his arms* Fine. Now what? Are you going to let Desiree go? Because she’s not involved with this. *glares at Jenova* It’s me you want.
Jenova: *chuckles at Kadaj and attempts to manipulate his mind so she can trigger off the pleasure centers in his mind* *”Good work, boy. Loyal servant.”* *moves over to Sephiroth and coils a tentacle around his waist* *”No, I want you as well. We’re going to have a nice little reunion. All of us.”*
Kalysto: *ressurrects himself using the soulstone reagent he was carrying. His body twitches slightly and then he raises a singular hand, attempting to set Loz, Kadaj and Yazoo on fire*
Desiree: *keeps her gaze to the ground as Jenova holds onto her. She then allows herself a small grin as Sephiroth comes. However, she is still quite miserable over the fact that she had been captured by Jenova at all* ~I’m sorry, Father.. I tried to fend off Loz.. They ganged up on me.~
Kadaj: Hmm..? *looks over at Sephiroth as he appears. Meanwhile, he keeps his sword at Desiree’s throat* Now, why should we do that? *he glances at Jenova and grins* Mother’s weak. She can use a host. Even if the girl isn’t good enough, how else can we insure that you will not- *he then hisses as the fire spell hits him. He then glares over at Kalysto before holding up his left arm. Soon enough, he activates a matra magic spell to use in retaliation to Kalysto*
Yazoo: *yelps in surprise as he is hit by the flame spell as well. He then trains his velvet nightmare on Kalysto* Foolish.
Sephiroth: *makes a soft grunt at Desiree, moving a hand up to indicate that he wants silence from her. He softly snorts at Kadaj, then shakes his head* Oh she needs a host? Not this rubbish again. If you were really smart, you’d go for something bigger. But no, you have to keep doing the same thing every time, don’t you?
Kalysto: *gives Yazoo a look of utter resentment and lowers his hand again*
Jenova: *”Good. Good. Submit.”* *snickers* *”The girl was a good piece of bait. But it is the boy I want.”* *curls her tentacles around Sephiroth’s neck and dumps Desiree on the ground. She waves off Kadaj, Loz and Yazoo as she crawls further into the underground train line, wanting to be alone for a while with her new prey* *”Keep an eye on our other prisoners. Make sure they do not do anything funny. One of them is immortal.”*
Kadaj: *grits his teeth at Sephiroth’s jab toward him. He then hisses* If it keeps you in check, traitor, then- *he stops as Jenova drops Desiree. He then snorts before moving closer to her and training the blades of his souba at her* Do not think that this means that you can run away.
Yazoo: *coldly watches Kalysto, not lowering his gun at all. Instead, he simply circles around the man and grunts* I am not certain if that was immortality.. *he studies over the elf, but doesn’t lower his guard*
Desiree: *whimpers as she looks at the sword. She then frowns even more as Sephiroth is dragged away by Jenova* ~Father…? What’s going to happen?~
Kalysto: It wasn’t immortality. It was insurance against being dead in the case of some idiot with a gun trying to shoot you in the head. *coldly speaks* Idiot. *moves to his feet and casually brushes the dirt off his robes, seeming disinterested in the fact that he is being paced around* You might want to watch that thing. It can kill somebody. *glances over at Desiree* *”Do you know anything about how the nether works? I can get out of this really easily, but if you can’t shift your tangible form away…”*
Sephiroth: *keeps rather calm as Jenova drags him into the tunnel* *”Desiree, are you alright? I will try to make a bargain with them so you can escape. Once you are free, get back up. Is this understood?”*
Desiree: *blinks at Kalysto’s questions. She then frowns in thought before shaking her head* ~Nether? What is nether? I’ve never heard of it before. I have not a clue what you’re talking about at all..~ *she then moves to sit down, not wanting to aggrivate any of the three clones near her* ~Huh? I’m not too bad.. But Kadaj and the other two are on high alert. I can’t just run off.. They’ll kill me.~
Yazoo: *tilts his head to the side as Kalysto speaks. He then shakes his head* Having skill with my aim has nothing at all to do with any lack of intelligence. Now.. *he reaches into one of his pockets and pulls out a yellow orb* Do not give us cause to use this.
Kalyso: *”You know… the nether. The twisting nether, the underworld, the realm of the damned, the demon’s hangout, the astral-plane. It has many names. My question is, can you teleport yourself onto it or not?”* *begins to wiggle his ears, grinning at Yazoo now* Skill? Who said you had any of that now?
Sephiroth: *”I know. Just stay where you are, I will enter into a bargain with them. I’m immortal, Desiree. They can do whatever they like to me. You are not – once you are dead, you’re dead. I cannot let that happen.”*
Desiree: *stares at Kalysto for several minutes. She then slowly shakes her head* ~Umm… No. I can’t shift into the astral plane. I can’t do anything like that at all…~ *she then sighs and flicks at the rocks on the ground. However, she pauses as Sephiroth speaks to her* ~I know, Father. I don’t want them to kill me either. But.. would they let me go at all?~
Yazoo: *his lips turn downward into a frown as Kalysto insults him once more. He then decides to activate the materia in his hand. Soon enough, he tries to cast manipulate on the male elf*
Sephiroth: *”They might if I enter into a bargain with them… exchanging myself for your freedom. We’re outnumbered as we are now. We can’t call for backup immediately, and you are more vulnerable than I am. If I let them do whatever they want to me in exchange for letting you go free, then you can go and get backup. It’s a good plan, don’t you agree?”*
Kalysto: Oh, cute. I have magic rocks too. *fiddles through his pocket and tosses a light green crystally rock onto the ground, smirking back at Yazoo, at least until he tries to manipulate him* Cheap bastar—*hisses and tries to resist against the spell, but doesn’t really have any defense against it*
Desiree: Mmm.. ~I guess.. if they do agree to that sort of thing.. But.. Father..? Can’t Jenova just read our minds? I mean, that’s how you controlled Cloud back then, right? You read his mind like constantly. Doesn’t that mean that she knows everything that we are planning right now?~ *she then glances up as she watches Yazoo activate the materia. Shaking her head, she gets up then moves to Kalysto* Leave him be. He isn’t involved in this.
Yazoo: *scowls at Kalysto as he tosses the green rock at the ground. He then grins as he notices that his spell is working. He then calmly speaks out* Sit down and be silent.
Sephiroth: *scowls* *”She can only read our minds if she’s actually doing it. If she doesn’t get suspicious and read my mind for the information, she won’t…”* *sighs in frustration* *”This is our only shot at this. You might as well go free. If you can get away from here…”* *hisses as Jenova coils a tentacle around his neck, partially choking him*
Kalysto: *glares in defiance at Yazoo, but does as he is told*
Yazoo: *nods in approval as Kalysto sits down. He then leans in and coldly speaks out* Remember, I can cast this spell at any point. Mother’s powers give us next to infinite mp. *he gives Kalysto a small grin. He then reaches out to slap the elf in order to knock him out of the spell* Now, behave yourself.
Desiree: *slowly nods her head at her father’s instructions* ~If I can get out of here, I’ll definitely get help, Father. I promise.~ *she scoots closer to Kalysto. She then pats his shoulder* ~How quickly can you teleport out of here with your way?~
