Sephiroth: *snorts* What? *rises to his feet and heads into the town, determined to at least see what is going on. He stops at the town edge, hissing* Stop her, how..? *shakes his head, moving into the gathering crowd, curious*

*The night is settling in quite nicely as Sephiroth enters the town. Due to the darkness, most of the gathering townsmen don’t seem to notice Sephiroth at all. So, he is relatively safe for the time being.
As for Jenna, she has been tied up to the stake and seems to be quite out of it. She frowns as she listens to Father Patterson ask her if she wants to be forgiven for her sins. However, this is mostly because she isn’t understanding what is going on at all. She slowly shakes her head at times, trying to get the point across that she doesn’t understand. However, the man keeps on badgering about asking for forgiveness. Finally, after a few minutes, she glances to the side and notices the boy that she had saved. She gives him a small grin, for she seems to be relieved that he is alive. However, he soon throws a rotten squash at her. So, Jenna winds up blinking in confusion, not understanding what happened at all.
As for Molly, she has escorted Aeris and Cloud out. She is at the outer edge of the gathering. Seeming to be quite curious as to what is about to happen.

Aeris: *cringes, not at all liking the atmosphere or the mood of the people right now* Something seems really wrong about all of this… everyone’s looking like they’re out for blood. Or for revenge… either way, nobody looks very happy…
Sephiroth: *just pushes his way through the crowd, getting a decent vantage point and folds his arms, scowling, watching, still not knowing what he’s meant to do*

Sephiroth: *narrows his eyes as he watches the scene from his own location, thoroughly loathing everything right now. He scowls at what happens to Aeris but does nothing due to the fact he is utterly powerless to stop it*
Aeris: *yelps and tries to rush towards the pyre, yelling out to the Father* Stop it! You’re making a huge mistake, you don’t understand it at all, please! *whimpers as she is quickly grabbed and held back from people in the crowd*
Sephiroth: *narrows his eyes as he watches the scene from his own location, thoroughly loathing everything right now. He scowls at what happens to Aeris but does nothing due to the fact he is utterly powerless to stop it*
Jenna: *continues trying to struggle out of the bindings that are holding her to the pike. She whimpers as her skin begins to sear and flake off due to the heat. However, after several minutes of struggling, she goes limp as her body becomes completely consumed by the flames*
Molly: *sighs at Aeris* Settle down. It’s over now.. *She shakes her head and looks over at Cloud* Perhaps you should take her away to help her settle down.
Astaroth: *grins as he watches the events. As soon as the fire begins to burn out, he hops off his current pearch and into the air. He then glances over at Sephiroth and flies over to him. Landing on his shoulder, he whispers into the man’s ear* Show time, hm? *giggles* Oh, gifty to help. *he flaps his wings a bit. He then uses his powers to restore both Aeris and Sephy’s non-human abilities*

He glowers in anger and instinctively charges a psychic blast to slam the creature with in his rage. After he does that, he seems a little confused, then glances around at the area, snarling* Idiots… *forces out a sharp aggressive shockwave in an attempt to knock everyone in the immediate vicinity off their feet*
Cloud: Yeah, I will do that. It’s about the only thing I can do right now. *pats Aeris’s shoulder* Come on.

Meanwhile, the fire that had consumed Jenna begins to slowly die out and dissipate. Only ashes and burnt wood seem to be left in the spot where Jenna was burnt once the fire dies out completely*

*The villagers continue to focus on Sephiroth, seeming to be quite paniced over the things that he is doing. A few try to throw various objects at him in an attempt to knock him out of the sky*
Molly: *whimpers as she watches over Sephiroth. She then lowers her head and sighs* Father, look after us…
*Meanwhile, a series of dark clouds begin to forum up above the town. Also, if any who can sense energy in the area would pay attention, they might be able to sense that a powerful energy is spreading across the village in an increasingly rapid and powerful rate*
