Desiree: *looks up at Rhyderi then down at Kalysto and sighs* Ok… *with that, she reaches down to pick up Kalysto. She then slowly gets to her feet, for she’s still a bit woozy thanks to the blow that she received earlier*
Jenna: *flares out her wings in order to help make herself look larger. She then holds up her sword in a ready position* As far as I’m concerned, you can die. *she coldly smirks* You do know how “chaos spawns” work, right? Each is given a specific task to help in universal order. Would you like to know what I am meant to keep tabs of, hm?
Kalysto: *makes a loud frustrated sound as Desiree picks him up* Damn it, why are you interferring…!? You took him away from me before, I’m just trying to get it back… shit, what the hell is wrong with that?!
Rhyderi: *dismissively waves a hand at Kalysto* You will be fine once you are clean. *sighs* It’s just his natural cravings talking now, ignore him. It’s just what happens to our kind when they delve too deeply into the forbidden magics. The fel-energies have corrupted his mind.
Bael: I don’t particularly care what you do, chaos-spawn. I am not about to declare superiority over you, but I am not going to lay down and let you defeat me either. *sways his tail* Unlike the snivelling wretches that share my realm, I am sentient and intelligent. If you want to come to terms, I am open to suggestion.
Jenna: I’ve learned on lesson long ago: sentience has no relationship to benevolence. In fact, the more sentient, the less likely it is to be aimable. *She scowls* And who says that I am the one who should make any sort of suggestion. You are the one who has injured those under my care. You are the one who is the threat. And you are the intruder. As far as I am concerned, you are the one who must make a suggestion. *she then begins trying to drain energy into her body through her wings, preparing for a fight. In fact, she attempts to specificly drain energy from the demon standing before her*
Desiree: *lowers her head, not certain as to which side to take. She then shakes her head* Kalysto… Why didn’t you at least warn me. Why are you determined to harm yourself? Why?
Kalysto: *mutters, furious at the situation* I’m not… I’m just trying to get my fucking demon back… you know, the one you seperated from me…? Yeah, that one… *shakes his head and groans, still recovering from being knocked out*
Rhyderi: *waves a hand* Please get my brother somewhere safe. I will come deal with him once the demon is purged from this plane of existance.
Bael: *loudly laughs at her* You want ME to make the bargain? What hilarious nonsense! *he begins to writhe in torment as Jenna drains the life from him. He backs up and turns to run*
Desiree: *Whimpers* But why didn’t you tell me that you were going to do that. You just randomly stopped talking… You scared me. *she shakes her head and slowly backs away from the area, still torn as to what to do and what is right*
Jenna: Yes, that is exacty what I am saying. *quickly teleports so that she appears infront of the demon she then swings her blade upward, trying to slice at its chest before casting another powerful flame spell, intending to smash it into the demon’s chest at point-blank range* Of course, I can always follow my calling and simply remove you from all planes of existence.
Bael: *comes to a halt when Jenna teleports in front of him and snarls, baring his teeth, angry. This is rather shortlived however, for he gives Jenna a loud hollow laugh at her threat* And earn the ire of the one who serves me for the rest of eternity? *with his chest already burned from the first attack, he is rather vulnerable to the blade. When the second flame spell smashes into his chest, he sacrifices his mortal form, which dies in front of Jenna and lifelessly collapses onto the ground before it begins to rapidly rot and disintergrate* *”While you could destroy my essence, it would simply not be wise to. You and I are not enemies.”
Kalysto: Why should I? It’s not any of your business… *makes a soft frustrated pathetic noise as he tries to push off her, wanting to stand again* Why don’t you just decide for me… everyone else seems to think they have privalege to…
Desiree: *shakes her head* That’s not what I’m trying to do, Kalysto. However, I care about you. You’re my friend… Friends care about each other. *she deeply frowns* If something was to suddenly hurt me, would you not care?
Jenna: *Snorts as the phsyical form of the demon vanishes. She then flaps her wings and narrows her eyes* ~Do not persume to know where my stance in this world is. You have come here with the intent to cause harm. I will not permit that.~
Kalysto: I get what you’re doing, but… *growls* You really don’t get it. You think you know what’s best and you’re trying to act on it, but you’re just fucking it up worse… you don’t understand it… just stop meddling in things… I knew what I was doing…
Rhyderi: *seems more relaxed* Alright. It seems the demon has been vanquished. *walks over to Desiree* I can take him from here if you like. We need to get him somewhere safe. Somewhere you can keep an eye on him, and he can be out of the reach of any magic reagents. If you know where any of his demon circles are, draw on the runes, it will break them.
Bael: *”No, I have not come here with intent to cause harm at all. You are incredibly stupid if you think that is. But that is discussion for another day and I must depart. We will talk another time.”*
Desiree: *Frowns at Kalysto then glances to the side* I want to let you choose what you think is right.. But each time you do that, you keep on hurting yourself. That… That can’t be right. *she seems very conflicted. She then glances at Rhyderi and shakes her head* No, that’s ok. I’ll take care of him. Go ahead.
Jenna: ~You did nothing to prove that you were anything else other than a threat. If I find you disturbing those under my care again, I shall erradicate you.~ *she flaps her wings. She then turns and moves to head back to the base* ~You are lucky that I have a newborn that I need to tend to.~
Rhyderi: No, really. Please hand my brother over into my care. I can make sure this problem is properly sorted for once and for all.
Kalysto: *scowls* *”No. But you just don’t get it.”* *pushes her, wanting her to let him go. He growls at Rhyderi and spits at him* What do you want to do….? Turn an apple into an orange? You idiot.
Bael: *”It is lucky for me then, isn’t it.”* *his reply is more amused than anything else*
Desiree: *backs away, refusing to let go of Kalysto, despite the insisting of both elves. She then shakes her head* I said I’ll help him out. I’ll meet you back in the base.. Just go. *she frowns in thought* Or.. Here.. *she begins weaving an illusion spell, trying to make Rhyderi think that she handed over Kalysto to him*
Kalysto: *goes tense and stiff as he stops resisting against Desiree, then he folds his arms and glares down at the ground, saying nothing*
Rhyderi: *narrows his eyes in confusion as the illusion spell is cast on him, mostly because there is no weight to the illusion of his brother* What is this parlor trick?
Desiree: *Frowns, figuring that Rhyderi is not being tricked. So, instead, she casts a spell to make herself and Kalysto invisible to him. She then quickly moves away to hide behind a tree a short distance away* ~I want to trust you, Kalysto… But you hardly ever are open with me. Why can’t you trust me?~
Kalysto: *glares up at her, saying nothing at first. He returns his attention to the ground again and mutters aloud to himself in Thalassian* Dath u’phol ri talah do shano tal lo osa al man’ar ash adore do t’as’e man’Ar andu nor ni? Shando, shando, ash lo rini… Dor shan’re ethala dieb lo al. O Dorini do’rah diel shar andu do su ash’therod fallah dath al…*

She then shakes her head* Stubborn, stubborn man… *groans and lowers her head in thought. Soon enough, she narrows her eyes* Hrmph, you said something earlier. I can’t make souls merge or anything like that, but I can.. *she tries to create an open psychic link with Kalysto, mostly trying to get him to understand that she just doesn’t want him to continue hurting himself and to trust her. However, she’s also trying to understand what’s going on in his mind and what sort of pain that he is trying to manage*
Kalysto: *immediately places up resistance to block her attempts to link their minds together, not really wanting to have his thoughts read right now* Are you going to lug me back to your stupid base, or not? You’re already carrying me like property… *flicks his ears back* Why don’t you finish the job?
Desiree: *grits her teeth, determined to accomplish her task at the moment. She then shakes her head* I never said that I was going to take you to the base. I never said that at all… Why do you think that I didn’t hand you over to your brother? *she shakes her head and continues trying to open up a connection to his mind*
Kalysto: *despite the fact he’s placing up heavy resistance, Desiree would soon break into his mind barrier mostly due to the fact he only has base-level psychic abilities and does not have the level anywhere near any of Sephiroth’s offspring. His thoughts are mostly of trying to keep standing his ground, and he is quite frustrated and angry at the fact that Desiree keeps intervening in his attempts to get his demon back. He is also quite soured by the fact that most of the people around him (at least by his interpretation) seem to despise what he considers normal acts for the path of a Warlock, but then he thinks to himself that such is to be expected, because nobody really trusts them anyway*
Desiree: *sighs, keeping the connection quite open. She is just concerned that Kalysto is harming himself with his activities. Also, he concerns her by getting smashed so often. At the moment, she was quite scared by the fact that he had been knocked out without much warning at all* Kalysto, I want to trust you..
Kalysto: I’m not harming myself. You don’t even know what’s normal for me to do, so of course you see it as bad. Typical ignorant human. *snorts* Put me down. I’m not a sack of meat for you to carry around and barter off to the highest, or loudest bidder.
Desiree: *keeps the connection between their minds open, trying to make it impossible for Kalysto to keep on hiding secrets from her. She then sighs and sets him down* Alright… Go ahead and join with that demon of yours… However, if he hurts you or abuses you… *she lowers her head and snarls, feeling quite protective over her friend*
Kalysto: I can’t. *scowls* It’s gone. *flicks his ears back, thoroughly annoyed with the situation. He thinks that Desiree would just kill it anyway or disrupt the soul-merging ritual if he managed to get it back a third time, and doesn’t particularly want to go through that yet again*
Desiree: *feels insulted* For the record, the first time, I tried to help you get that demon to merge with you. Maybe your memory is defective, but the demon didn’t want a thing to do with you. I tried to help you subdue it. Hrmph.. *she crosses her arms, thinking that Kalysto is blaming her for his own failure there* Second, this time, you were knocked out without any form of warning. What did you expect to happen??
Kalysto: I would hope you would actually listen to my requests to leave the damn thing alone. But you never did. *flicks his ears back in anger* It didn’t want anything to do with me, so I was following it. And I nearly had won it over too, until you intervened.
Desiree: It was attacking you, Kalysto. *she scowls, clutching her fists* I don’t know what happens where you’re around, but as far as I’m concerned, I simply don’t allow my friends to be bullied and abused for no damn good reason. *she snorts* Are you so weak-willed that you just want to give in to that treatment?
