Jenna: *softly sighs then moves to sit on Caner’s bed* I beg to differ. If there was absolutely nothing that needed to be addressed, you wouldn’t be acting this way. I want to know that you are alright with the information that I just gave you.
Cancer: No… who could ever be OK with it? *moves behind an old toybox, wanting Jenna to go away right now, or at least not be seen* I knew I wasn’t like anybody else here. Now this just proves it. I don’t belong here, and I never did. *growls*
Jenna: You do belong here, Cancer. You are our child.. We’ve accepted you as that much. Do you think that we’d take so much care for you if we didn’t care about you? *she frowns* You are my daughter and you do belong..
Cancer: *makes a mocking snort* No I don’t. I carry the same makeup as the enemy. They could probably take advantage of it, like your mate took advantage of that blonde haired idiot once. *shakes her head* I need to get out of here.
Jenna: *Groans then moves closer to Cancer. From there, she tries to lean in and grip onto the girl’s shoulders* Cancer, most of our family has the cells of Jenova embedded in them. If any member of her species came, they might be subject to being used in that manner too. However, worrying about such things gets us no where. *She shakes her head* You do not need to leave.
Cancer: It doesn’t get us anywhere, but… what if I can be used as an exploit? Surely the snake thing or whatever it is can find me because I am here, and abuse me because of my genetics. I don’t want that to happen! Why did those other weirdos come for me now anyway? Why now? *whimpers* Tell them to fuck off…
Jenna: Oh trust me. I’m going to be doing that first thing in the morning. *she gives Cancer a sly grin. She then shakes her head* As for your worries, I don’t think you need to have so many concerns. Sharing genetics alone doesn’t mean that they have any power over you. In fact, I don’t think there’s much to the “genetics” of what they are made of.. *she shakes her head* You have a real soul. As long as you actually have that, neither the Snake nor they have any power at all over you.
Cancer: *keeps her head lowered, not seeming any happier at Jenna’s comment* How do you know I have a soul…? What if I don’t? I don’t even know how to tell the difference. *looks miserable* Maybe I was never born with one…
Jenna: *Softly chuckles at Cancer’s assumptions. She then shakes her head* You have a soul. I can sense it in you. Do not worry yourself so much over things like that. You have a nice and strong life force in you. *she tries to give Cancer a reassuring smile. However, since she’s still not well trained on such things, it is a bit off*
Cancer: I bet you really don’t know for sure. *mumbles* So what do I do now…? They’re outside…. I don’t wanna go outside. I need to be out there to not fail my quest. *whimpers* I don’t want to go out there and face them again. They’ll do something horrid to me.
Jenna: *nods* That is understandable. I’ll insure that they leave in the morning, Cancer. For now, just stay safe down here. They won’t be able to get past the security. *she nods then moves to her bed once more*
Cancer: They can’t get in? I’m safe there at least. But.. if I go outside… *sighs miserably at Jenna’s comment and crawls out of her space in the closet, climbing back into her bed. Despite the issues that have occured, she is secretly very happy to be lying in her own bed again, and grins, cuddling into the covers*
