Seph: *reaches out to hold onto Jennah’s arms to support her, frowning down at Ramiel* Indeed, it will take him plenty of time to work it out and control it. I do not want to see another outburst like that however. I would advise against having him do it again…
Sephiroth: *has been working hard on his papers and decides to take a break. He reaches down to pick up Chimera and carries him out of the room, intending to place the young boy down in his crib so that he may continue to sleep without being disturbed*
Jennah: *shakes her head at Seph* No, I can’t have him not do it again. If we don’t have him practice at learning how to control this, then it will be a wild card that can come up at any time. *deeply sighs as she reaches over to gently run her fingers through Ramiel’s hair* We don’t want him accidently activating this ability then going beserk on us, now do we?
Chimera: *whimpers as he’s moved, but remains asleep. He shifts around a bit in Sepher’s arms and flaps his wings, but in all, he remains relaxed and calm*
Ramiel: *screws his face up and makes a weak groaning noise. Then slowly, he begins to shift about, sitting up. He forces his eyes open and looks up at Jennah, moving a hand up to rub the side of his head* Ow… I think I fell over…
Sephiroth: *gently pats Chimera’s lower back as he takes him into his room upstairs, trying to calm him down. He places the boy down on his side in the crib so he is not lying on his small wings and pulls the covers over him. Then he turns to head out of the room, gently shutting the door behind him so that the boy will be in peace and quiet*
Jennah: *shakes her head at Ramiel* No, that’s not quite what happened. *releases a long deep sigh then slowly stands upright. As she moves, she reaches over to Seph for support* I’ll explain it all later, but for now, I can assure you that you did not fall over. For now, I just need to think..
Chimera: Mmmrrr…. *shuffles about as Sephiroth sets him down then quickly curls up in his blankets. Nearly as soon as he’s in a nice warm spot, he begins to gently kneed the sheets and release a loud purring noise*
Ramiel: This happened before, I fell out of a tree. During training… *groans and slowly gets to his feet, brushing the feathers off himself* I was in a tree, then I fell asleep and woke up in much the same manner as this, tired, feathers all over the place… *moves a hand up to rub his head* I feel really funny.
Sephiroth: *moves back along the top level to peer into the master bedroom, wondering where Jenna currently is*
Jennah: Really funny? How so, Ram? *looks up at Seph then steps away from her elder “son”* Go help your brother. He’ll probably need help getting back to the house. *notices some of the fallen feathers on the ground, so she bends down and begins to gether them up* I won’t be too far behind you two.
Jenna: *is far from hard to spot, for she is currently in a deep sleep in the middle of the bed. Unless Sephiroth chooses to look at the bed last, he’d probably quickly notice the Jenna-shaped lump on the bed. Despite the fact that Jenna is asleep, the television is still on to the last channel that Jenna had been watching before she fell asleep. At the moment, the television is displaying a special news broadcast*
Sephiroth: *quietly slips into the room, initially intending to turn the TV off. However, he gives it a momentary glance, wondering if anything interesting is on. He moves over to the bed and pulls the covers over Jenna, then reaches up to gently stroke the side of her face with his hand*
Seph: Ah, right… *reaches down to pick Ramiel up with relative ease, then carries him back towards the house*
*if Jennah were to inspect Ramiel’s feathers very closely, she’d probably notice that the base of his wings also have jet-black draconic looking scales stuck to the shed skin at their bases. They would look like ordinary overlapping dragon’s scales, aside from the fact that they are very tiny in size*
Jenna: *softly groans at Seph’s touch, her eyes fluttering open after a moment. She takes a moment to focus on her mate and husband* Mmm… Seph? *yawns and begins pushing herself upright* Is there something wrong? *rubs her eyes*
Jennah: Thank you, Seph. I’ll pay you back later. *closely studies the feathers, blinking as she notices the scales on the bases of the feathers* Well, that is intriguing. Even more pieces to the puzzle.. *sighs* Perhaps there is a version of Hojo on this planet.. *shrugs* At least maybe that man may understand the boy’s genetics. *gets to her feet then walks to the house. Soon afterwards, she strolls into the guest room that Sephiroth had given her stay in*
Sephiroth: No, nothing is wrong. *slowly shakes his head* I apologize for waking you up. I had just come in here to check up on you, and I noticed the television was on. *moves away from her so he can turn it off* Go back to sleep if you want to.
Seph: *carries Ramiel across the grass, heading back inside. He moves into the guest bedroom and lays the boy down on the bed in the room*
Ramiel: *groans* You don’t have to carry me you know, I could walk… *hugs his stomach area once he’s placed down* Ooh, I really don’t feel any good…
Jenna: *Frowns then quickly reaches out to grip onto Seph, winding up wrapping her hand around a tuft of Seph’s silver hair. She looks up at hima nd shakes her head* No, you don’t need to do that. *yawns* I was nearing awareness anyway. *grins* I’d enjoy your company, Seph.
Jennah: *moves into the bedroom just in time to hear Ramiel say that he doesn’t feel good. Frowning, she moves closer to the boy and kneels down next to the bed* You don’t feel good? What’s wrong? *looks up at Seph* Did he say anything else while I was back there?
Sephiroth: *immediately stops in his tracks as he feels his hair being pulled on. He backs up a bit to stop it from hurting and turns his head a bit so he can glance back at her from over his shoulder* I’d enjoy your company as well, but pulling on my hair like that isn’t necessary.
Seph: *Slowly shakes his head* Not really… he just said that he’s tired. And just now he said he doesn’t feel good. I guess I really don’t have to take him hunting now. *smirks*
Jenna: *lets go of Seph’s hair and nods at him* Sorry, you moved away too fast for me to grab any other part of you. *Yawns once more then scoots over to give Sephy room. Afterwards, she pats the bed* Now, sit down and join me.
Jennah: Yes, Seph, you won’t be hunting anytime soon. *narrows her eyes at him* That is what is most important, isn’t it? *snorts then hands over the handful of feathers that she had carried back to the house over to Seph* Look at those and tell me what you make out of them. *reaches over to pat the side of Ramiel’s head* Is there anything I can do for you, boy?
Sephiroth: *turns around and moves back to the bed, sitting down beside her* I can afford to take the rest of the afternoon off, for I am ahead on my work again. *grins* Now, what did you require my prescence for?
Ramiel: *groans* Mmm… *slowly shakes his head* I don’t think so. Not unless you can do something to make the horrid thumping pain in my head and stomach to go away… *tries to sit up* I want food…
Jenna: *grins as Sephiroth sits down beside her. Wasting no time, she quickly scoots over closer to him and leans up against him whilst resting her head on his shoulder* I don’t require you presence at all, Seph. I just want it. *gives him a small, genuine smile* It’s always much more preferrable when you’re around.
Jennah: No, Ramiel, I don’t think I have anything to make those things vanish. You know that I’m not good at healing… *looks up at thinks* But perhaps the dragons about here do.. *gives Seph a side-ways look* See what that dragon that you like picking on can do, boy. I’m going to get your brother some food. *Stands up then leaves the bedroom*
Aeris: *is outside and behind the house, using it as a kind of barrier to block out some of the noises that the workers make while they lay down foundations and put up frameworks for the new structures that Sephy has ordered to have built*
Ramiel: *lies on his back and tries to remain quite still* Don’t worry about it then… I’ll just sleep it off or something…
Sephiroth: *purrs back at Jenna in response* I am glad you think that. Because I have grown rather fond of your prescence over the years. It is always welcome, I say.
Jennah: No, Ramiel, we’ll do our best to accomidate you. Just be patient and relax. *walks out of the room* I’ll be back in must a moment with food, I promise. *With that, she rushes into the kitchen and begins pulling out a few stored rabbits that had been intended for food. After about five minutes, Jennah returns to the bedroom with the food before laying it down on the floor near the bed* Here, go ahead and eat.
Jenna: *Softly chuckles at Sephy’s statement* You have grown fond of someone? My, it must be armegedon time. *pats Sephy’s side* Or perhaps you are becoming for delusional with your old age and actually are thinking you’re just a normal human. *winks at Sephy, trying to indicate that her words are simply a joke*
Sephiroth: *smirks broadly in amusement* No. It has nothing to do with being senile, or falsely believing that I am a regular old boring human. But it has everything to do with the fact that you are a worthy ally. You should be honoured to be allowed this close. *chuckles*
Ramiel: *forces his eyes open and gives the rabbits a sideways glance. Then slowly, he rolls off the bed, thumping down onto the floor so he can inch over to the food and begin eating* I feel really hot for some reason… I’m hot and really dizzy… *lies on the floor beside the carcasses and picks them up, then begins to bite into them with his teeth*
Jenna: Well then, it must be the end of the world if you aren’t senile. *smirks before suddenly pushing Seph back toward the bed* Guess we’d better make the best of it, hm? *lowers herself toward his face as if she was about to kiss him, but instead, she chooses to lie down ontop of him with her head nestled against his neck*
Jennah: *sighs and moves up behind Ramiel. Instead of offering any words, the sorceress begins to gently massage his scalp. She remains silent, solely comforting her younger son until Seph returns to the bedroom*
Sephiroth: *complies with Jenna’s pushing, then purrs as she lies down ontop of him. He reaches up to gently stroke her back, and grins at her* You are tired again, already? But… I did not even do anything yet. *sighs and and shakes his head in mock-dissapointment*
Ramiel: *seems to not notice what Jennah is doing and eats the rabbits ravenously. He seems to gain some strength from this, for he soon feels good enough to sit up. Once he is finished stripping the meat off the legs, he chews on the bones*
Jenna: *softly purrs back at Sephy* I was tired well before you came in here, you know that. *pats his chest then nuzzles her cheek against his shoulder* I just want your company for now. It’s a lot better than that screen over there. *waves her hand in a bored manner toward the television* The news on this planet is never very interesting. At least my planet always had wars and suffering to make it interesting.
Jennah: *allows herself a small grin as she notices that Ramiel is regaining some of his stregnth, but she doesn’t cease her massaging. However, she doesn’t really watch him eat all that closely, instead, she allows her mind to wander as she contemplates how to help her son* Hmm… Perhaps there is a version of Hojo on this planet. Maybe that man would understand your biology…
Sephiroth: I don’t know, Jen, sometimes the news is interesting. If not for your intervention, Wutai would probably be at war now. And there’s talk of a Neo-Midgar to be built somewhere, which will use that strange rod-technology that those humans brought with them. If you’ve been reading the newspapers recently, apparently there’s a lot of that resource being shipped over to this new planet, in exchange for our materia. The otherworld humans had never seen it before they came, and are fascinated to see something that is magic.
Ramiel: *looks up at her* Hojo…? No… *shakes his head and tries to force himself to sit up* Oooh, my stomach hurts… *rubs it* I don’t want to visit Hojo, mother…
Jenna: Perhaps so, but you must admit that not much occurs on your planet from a day to day basis. You saw how things moved about on my planet, yours is akin to a stand-still when compared to Earth’s events. There aren’t even that many large cities on this planet. *yawns* And what do you mean by “rod-technology”…? *deeply frowns as she thinks* Are you talking about nuclear material?
Jennah: Shh, be still, Ramiel. *shakes her head* We don’t even know if there is one alive on this planet. Not to mention, even if he is alive, I might not need to have him look at you, just look over your records… He might not even have the slightest idea on how to handle your situation. *shrugs* But does it really hurt for me to try?
Sephiroth: I think that was what they were calling it. *pauses to think for a moment* Yes, they are rod shaped metals that have the power to generate energy when used properly. There are none naturally occuring on this planet, but those ‘Armenian’ astronauts have brought some with them to trade for Materia. Neo-Midgar will probably use their rods for its power source.
Ramiel: *holds his stomach and closes his eyes* If he doesn’t know, what’s the point…? *groans* My stomach feels like it’s going rock hard…
Jenna: *her frown deepens as she considers the words that Seph has spoken* That is strange. Uranium is not exactly the easiest mineral to obtain on my planet. It is not necessarily something that they like simply handing out.. Especially since nuclear weapons can be made with enriched uranium.. I hope no one on your planet finds out about nuclear meltdowns or the firepower potential.. *glances at Seph* Didn’t those idiots in the space craft already spread knowledge of their own power technology to your planet?
Jennah: I don’t know if he will have useful knowledge or not, Ramiel. The fact of the matter is, I have to try. If I don’t, there will always be the “what if”. *frowns at Ramiel’s comment* If you have to reject your food, then so be it. You know where the bathroom is. *glances up at the ceiling* Oh, I should tell you that Seph is immortal now.
Sephiroth: The coal power idea? It was already around, there was a huge mine in the Corel area. *grunts* That was abandoned in favour of Mako energy. The Armenian humans brought along the idea of hydropower, and the idea of harnessing energy from the wind. Both are not very viable ideas. So, they’re bringing the radioactive metal with them on their next shipment. I do not remember how much materia they are trading it for.
Ramiel: *slowly shakes his head* No, mother… I don’t feel sick, but my stomach is hard… *rolls onto his side, then forces himself to his feet*
