Seres: *mutters* After whatever sells… I guess that means that I can’t beat them up on sight, they’s probably be more than happy to sell images of that. *loudly sighs* Can’t we take over the government and outlaw all newscasts from following us? We’re strong enough to hold a coup de tat without any problems.
Sephiroth: No, Seres. You cannot beat them up when you see them, that alone will spawn news for a month, I am guessing. *chuckles in amusement* Our family holding a coup de tat against the government? The group in Junon hold a large power over the world as it is, and we have them onside. I don’t think you need to worry all that much. If you want less publicity, I can inform them. I believe they would do it for me, as I am ‘loyal’ to them. *grunts*
Seres: Hrmph, well that’s no fun at all. *playfully grins at her father* We deserve to be the master race afterall, right? We are superior to all those humans that scurry around the rest of the planet, at least that’s what you’ve said before, Father. *winks at him*
Sephiroth: *smirks in amusement* Ah yes, we are superior to the humans, and don’t you ever forget that. Still, let them be in charge. For if they’re gone and were replaced by ones like us, perhaps we would not be so powerful or so special any more. I would rather have power over those whom are neutral, than those who are the same as me and would probably have more plans to rise up and defeat us.
Zack: *calls back to them* Us, master race? Hah. *growls* We’re the same as them with some little additions, that’s all. And some humans are actually quite reasonable if you get to know them. By the way, buckle up, we’re landing in a few minutes.
Seres: *sticks her toungue out at Zack* Maybe you only have a few mutations. I’m the product of two hybrids, so I am something completely new. *smirks and looks up at Sephiroth* Isn’t that right, Father? I’m even less part human than either you or mother, right? *frowns as she hears the words buckle up and looks down at her seat. She grops around for a bit before looking over at the pilot* Hey, where’s the buckle? I can’t buckle up if there is no buckle….
Sephiroth: *nods* Yes, Seres. You are less human than I am. I am glad that you do not see it as a burden though. That was always one of my main concerns.
Zack: *rolls his eyes* Look at the sides of your seat. There’s two parts, and they look like an ordinary car lap-seatbelt. Oh wait, you’ve never been in a car, have you? *smirks* I’d come back there and help but well… if I did that, the plane would crash!
Seres: *scowls up at Zack and snorts* Thanks a lot! It’s not my fault that I’ve never needded to ride in a car. It’s not like we have stupid things to go driving to at home. *gives Sephiroth a pleading look* Father, can you please help me.. I don’t see any buckles at all. *continues groping around her seat, searching for the seat belts*
Sephiroth: *moves over Seres and gropes around the sides of the seat for a moment, pulling up both sides of the seatbelt. He then clips it into position and begins to tighten it by pulling the straps* I think the seatbelt is entirely unecessary, but that’s my personal opinion. If the plane crashes, the last thing I would be concerned about is whether a small buckle is done up or not. Especially if there are pieces of twisted metal impaled in my stomach.
Zack: *chuckles at Seres* Hey cheer up. The army will probably let you drive a vehicle soon. Then you can go joyriding and do burnouts on the open plains. *shakes his head at Sephy* It’s so you don’t fall out. Alright, shut up and stop talking to me now. I have to authorize my plane and get it on the ground in Junon. *picks up his headphones and puts them on, beginning to communicate with the ground crew*
Seres: *softly speaks* Thank you, Father. You’re probably right though. It doesn’t really matter to any of us if we’re buckled up or not. We’re all immortal and wouldn’t die even if the plane spontaneously imploded. *looks out the window to the city down below* So, that is Junon? It looks so small from up here…
Sephiroth: If you are looking at the large concrete structure built into the side of the cliff, yes, that is Junon. There are a few other cities nearby which would look smaller in comparison. I assure you though, it is actually quite large inside. I spent a good majority of my teenage years there.
Seres: *nods at Sephiroth’s statements* Yes, I’m looking at Junon. I still think that from up here, it looks really small. It’s probably immense once you’re actually inside it and walking along its streets. But from here.. It just doesn’t look like anything at all.
Zack: *begins circling the area as he brings the plane into a quick descent, speaking into the microphone as he communicates with ground crew* Get ready for the bump and roar, we’re nearly there. *the plane dips downwards sharply as Zack brings it down, sailing it down onto the runway, then turns on the burners in reverse to make it slow down as it taxies down the runway. The entire manoeurve takes about a minute and would jolt his passengers around in their seats quite a bit*
Sephiroth: *scowls and just stays seated* Yes, the complex is quite large inside. I recall being lost on a few occaisons, but you will soon learn your way around. In comparison, the caves of Halcyon are more complex. *grunts as the plane stops* And now the media circus will come…
Seres: Oh, I don’t doubt that. Not even mother was able to explain the logic in how the caves were built and set up. I think she said that dragons just keept on digging out their own caverns as the centuries passed by and eventually it turned out to be that snake’s nest of tunnels. *loudly yelps at the jerkiness of the stop and glares at Zack* Couldn’t you have made that a bit smoother? *snorts and then begins fumbling around with her buckle, trying to jerk it off of her waist*
Sephiroth: *smirks at Seres’ reaction to the landing* Push the button in the middle and the seatbelt will come off easily. *stands up and begins to straighten his coat, ensuring that his belts and coat collar is neat and tidy. Then he combs his fingers through his hair, glancing out the window* Not too many yet.. shall we go then?
Zack: *smirks* If you don’t like the way I fly, don’t fly “Zack’s Flying Is The Best” incorporated. *chuckles* I’ve done worse. You’re lucky I didn’t perform any tricks. *picks up a book and begins reading* I’ve no reason to get out. I’ll hang around here until Sephiroth is ready to leave again.
Seres: *pauses as she listens to Sephiroth’s instructions then nods to indicates that she understands. She quickly reaches down to undo the buckle by pressing the button then leaps out of the seat* Yea, that sounds good. Might avoid the rabble while we can. *moves to where she left her bags and quickly gathers them up* Are you certain you don’t want to come, Zack? You won’t be seeing me around for quite some time after today. *quickly moves to follow Sephy once she has her bags in hand*
Sephiroth: *steps off the plane and stands on the tarmac, grunting at two soldiers who are standing nearby the door, awaiting him. He reaches over to take one of the bags from Seres and motions for her to follow* Come on. They’ll take you downstairs before the media gets up here. I’ve just been told via the implants that they were expecting us to touch down on the runway on the lower level. *smirks*
Zack: Alright, alright. I don’t want somebody to steal my baby though. *begins locking up his plane, then shuts the door and steps out* We’ll miss you, Seres. But you know that.
Seres: *frowns as Sephiroth takes a bag from her* I could have carried that on my own, Father. I’m not weak… I don’t want the others to think that I’m weak either. *looks over at the guards and nods at them then grins as Zack proclaims that he’s going to come as well* Thank you. That will give me pleanty of time to beat you up one last time, Zack. *chuckles as she follows Sephiroth*
Sephiroth: I don’t think the guards care. *grunts down at the suitcase* Feh, how much crap did you bring? *follows the guards into the military complex* Ah… I’ve just been informed that we need to meet with the head department of this organization. *grunts* So, you’ll be meeting that other Sephiroth idiot that looks like me… *heads into the elevator, holding the door open so Seres can get in too*
Zack: *casually follows behind them, humming to himself. He steps into the elevator and places his hands in his pockets* I wish I had brought along my walkman or something.
Seres: *crosses her arms, feigning insult* I packed everything that they told me to in that pamplet you gave me. It’s not my fault that some of that stuff is rather heavy. *thinks for a moment* I believe that Iris threw in some things as well while I wasn’t looking… *shrugs and curiously watches where they are going* Why am I going to meet the other Sephiroth? What point is there in such? *shakes her head in disbelief* And Zack, stop complaining. It’s not that boring.
Sephiroth: He wants to “screen” you so I am not being biased in recommending you to the army… *snorts* He doesn’t trust my opinion alone in this case because you are related to me. It is stupid logic I know, but I cannot really argue against it. *presses the button to a lower floor once everybody is inside the elevator*
Zack: *leans against the elevator wall* It’s kinda boring though.
Seres: *loudly snorts at the concept of her having to go through a special screening* I filled out the application, same as anyone else. It’s not like people who are not related to you can enter the academy, Father. This is completely stupid and unfair.. *shakes her head and snorts once more in disgust* A complete waste of my time.
Sephiroth: It is a waste of my time too, but they’re demanding a meeting. *shrugs* If you want to get in properly, I guess the only thing you can do is just shrug your shoulders and bear it. *steps out of the elevator again once he is on the lower level, then drags Seres’s bag along with him as he heads for General Sephiroth’s office* See any media idiots yet, either of you? Or do you think the security is keeping them away?
Zack: *peers out one of the windows as he passes by* Oh god… there’s like, a whole sea of them down on the roadway at the bottom. Why do we attract so much attention anyway?
Seres: I think it has to do with Father’s celebrity status. Even before the Jenova War, Father was immensely famous and referred to as a legendary warrior. He was the strongest and most powerful of all the SOLDIERs that were produced by ShinRa. Isn’t that right, Father? *smirks* You earned every ounce of respect that those idiots have for you.
Sephiroth: Damn right I did. *grunts, seeming quite stern. He follows the corridor down to General Sephiroth’s office, and loudly raps on the door with his knuckles* I had to fight my way to the top. It wasn’t easy, but it wasn’t hard either. I earned my right to be called a General, and I earned my dangerous reputation.
Zack: *rolls his eyes* Uh huh… I don’t need a history lesson today, thanks.
General Sephiroth: *looks up from the application he is reading over, and speaks out as he hears the knock, his tone very bland and bored* Come in. *glances at Noemi* This will be interesting. I still think there is some bias at play here.
Noemi: *stands at the General’s side and slowly shakes her head* I do not know why you are bothering to concern yourself with this, General. You retired and gave your position to that other Sephiroth. There should be no reason for you to need to interfere in these matters any longer.. *frowns slightly* Unless you think that she is like the children of ours that we’ve never met…
Seres: Well, you asked, Zack. *smirks* Perhaps you should stay out here. Afterall, we don’t need a simple civilian in the middle of a military meeting. *playfully sticks her tongue out at Zack then walks into the room as Sephy opens up the door. She glances over at the other Sephiroth, less than concerned before standing in the middle of the room*
