Noemi: *softly speaks under her breath, not bothering to look up from her book* No, you’re wrong. Kerash agreed to give you the entire afternoon off. I just came to her too late to get you the morning off as well. *decides to close the book, smoothly slapping it closed then setting it down on the bed. She looks up at him* So, how bad was it?
Sephiroth: Phh, you know how a normal morning is. Same old, same old. *shrugs* Nothing more than bioharmonics tests, a standard brushover physical examination, and doctors asking awkward questions. They’re taking a whole lot of interest in me now that I’m going through puberty. *scratches his side, looking uncomfortable*
Noemi: *slowly nods at Sephy* Yea, they asked me a whole lot of questions as well. Though I think they’re being more upfront with you. For me, I think most of the men didn’t really feel comfortable asking me questions about my changes.. *weakly shrugs* So, what should we eat for lunch? Or do you want to wait til later now that we have the afternoon off?
Sephiroth: Yes, we have all afternoon off. Perhaps they will let us go outside and sit on the lawn outside, or something. You should spend time in the sun before you don’t get to see it any more.
Noemi: *blinks then loudly chuckles* I’ll probably see it much more than I did here on Earth, Sephiroth. A lot of training routines occur outside. Of course, that’s not all for my group though. You’d most definitely train nearly completely outside if you join up with the marines. They have a huge obstacle course and everything for them.
Sephiroth: Obstacle courses? You mean where people jump through those hoops and mud and old tyres? Those crazy courses where people climb ropes and slide across beams? I’ve only seen them in fliers, and on video footage. I’d like to do it, but.. *shrugs* What are you going to be doing in your training? Did they brief you much?
Noemi: *slowly shakes her head* I don’t know all the details, but I do know there is a track where I’ll be jogging in the morning and other things outside that they’ll have me do to stay phsyically fit. There’s also several classes on aerospace, avionics, astrophysics, and the like that I’ll be attending for the next few years. They also have one of the best flight simulators around, even one that has an entire bridge for the massive space cruisers.
Sephiroth: It sounds pretty interesting… I hope you get your pips quickly. I’d much rather be out there and on a mission, rather than stay here and have to put up with all these tests. *sighs with boredom* Did you know they’ve cut up Jenova? I saw them wheeling a segment of her into their lab before I had to leave this morning. It was taken from her chest area…
Noemi: *nods at Sephiroth* Yes, they told me all about it yesterday. I watched them as they did scans on her then they mentioned cutting her open so they could examine her even more. *shakes her head* But I left after they mentioned that. It’s a good thing too.. Who knows what would have happened to you if you had stayed in that room in that wretched condition that you were in.
Sephiroth: Indeed… I don’t know what they could have been planning to do to me. *frowns* Anything, I suppose. *sighs* It is a good thing that you caught me before anything could be done. They probably would have thought I needed to go into the labs for surgery or something. Who knows, they could have been cutting out a lung, or my heart because they might have thought it was causing me problems…
Noemi: *shakes her head* That was far from a physical problem, Sephiroth. I doubt even the least experienced of our doctors would have problems telling that your mind had been attacked and not your body. *yawns* I know that it was pretty clear to me. Hell, you almost gave me a pretty good bruise back there.
Sephiroth: I did? *glances up at Noemi, then slowly lowers his head, mumbling* Sorry… I guess I didn’t know what I was doing there. Seferia messed my mind up pretty badly. She made me remember things which I’d rather forget – forever.
Noemi: *Shakes her head* Do not trouble yourself about it, Sephiroth. I’m a sturcy woman and can handle any attack that you throw my way. *Grins at him* Not to mention, I’m a fast healer. *leans closer to him and gently kisses his cheek then whispers* I must confess something… In order to make the deal to insure that you’d get the afternoon off, I promised Kerash that we’d exercise our sexual tendencies.
Sephiroth: *sighs* As long as they give us privacy, I really don’t mind. They’re so intent to get a glimpse of me breeding, and they’ve told me so, bluntly. They want one recorded session of it to see what I do… *snorts in disgust* Alright fine, I’m their experiment, but that doesnt mean I can be an animal for them to make documentaries out of. I’m a human being, damn it! Not something to make films out of.
Noemi: *blinks in confusion* Can’t they just rent a few porn videos and learn about sex that way? To the best of my knowledge, you do it in the same manner that all other human males do. *shrugs* I don’t understand it at all.. A few of those doctors must be pedophiles.
Sephiroth: *mutters loudly, loud enough for his voice to be heard and recorded* It would certainly seem that way… *snorts* You should have asked for them to turn the cameras off and give us some privacy too. *”They obviously want me to impregnate you, but that’s not going to happen if we don’t do it when you’re not in heat, now is it.”* *grins slightly* *”I don’t want to give them the satisfaction of knowing their planning has done anything.”*
Noemi: *shakes her head at Sephiroth* I’m no where near influential enough or on good enough terms with Kerash to be able to get her to turn off the surveilance equipment, Sephiroth. There’s no way in all the hells in the universe that I’d ever be able to pull that one off. *leans against his side* ~However, I would have enjoyed it quite immensely. At least I won’t be constantly videoed at the academy. Only some of the time when I pass by security points.~ *reaches over to gently grasp onto Seph’s hand and begins to massage it with her thumb*
Sephiroth: *glances up at the cameras and begins to think, deep in thought. He does not really notice that Noemi is touching his hand for the time being and just narrows his eyes as he thinks of a plan* *”I’ve an idea… and it won’t get us into trouble as we wouldn’t be breaking anything.”*
Noemi: *blinks* ~Huh? What exactly are you planning, Sephiroth? I don’t want to get into trouble right before we leave. Can’t we just enjoy our time together and not try to do something stupid tonight?~ *leans up against Seph’s side*
Sephiroth: *”I can create illusions. Perhaps I can make an illusion appear where we are, and then we can do something else besides what the illusion is showing those silly scientists who like to watch us. Perverted idiots they are.”*
Noemi: *looks mildly disappointed then leans in to whisper to Sephiroth* Illusions don’t work on machinery. You need an actual functioning brain to work the illusion in for it to work. *shakes her head* It won’t work, Sephiroth.
Sephiroth: Shhh!! *grunts sharply* *”You’re going to get me in trouble if they hear my plans out loud you know…”* *sighs* *”I’ll think of something else. I just… don’t want to be watched while we’re sharing intimate moments…”*
Noemi: *sighs then lies down* Until we are both out of this laboratory, I highly doubt that will ever happen. *shakes her head* We just need to take what we get and deal with the rest of it as it comes, Sephiroth. Anyway, it’s not all that bad. I mean, they don’t actually watch all the tapes, only ones where they think important things happened.
Sephiroth: *lies down beside her, frowning* *”Then they’re sure to watch. They usually consider a mating session to be of importance, so of course they would film it…”* *loudly sighs* *”Either way we’re going to be stared at. At least putting the covers over us helped a bit – the scientists complained about it before.”*
Noemi: *reaches over to gently stroke Sephy’s cheek and shakes her head* ~Sephiroth, just put it out of your mind. You should be used to the camera’s by this time in your life. I know that I am. They are hardly a problem for me any longer. Now, please, let us enjoy the last few hours we have together.~ *she leans in to kiss him. From that point on, she is quite intimate with him throughout the night, only stopping with the courtship behaviors only if Sephiroth specificly requests for her to do such, and when they go out to the balcony to have dinner. Since it is her last day at the lab, she receives a nice dinner composed of sea foods and happily shares it with Sephers. Other than that, she happily has several sessions with Sephy and occaccionally continues little conversations about where they’re going from there.
Finally, at about 2 am in the morning, she falls asleep and would remain rested until about 7 am, not long after the sun comes up. At that point, she gets up, not wanting to disturb Seph if he is still asleep and packs up the rest of her bags before retreating to the shower to get cleaned up*
