Jenna chuckled before she glanced back at Kalysto and gave him a devious grin, “If you are looking for some sort of sympathy from me, you’re mistaken. I don’t honestly care if people assumed that you would have ended the world and then shot yourself in the head. To be quite frank, Sephiroth tried that. So, the two of us were the last to be considered for the “settled down” title.”

    —-

Noemi grinned at the general, “Oh, you don’t need to rush anything. Take your time. After all, I like it when you are eloquent with your words.”

The captain then looked up as their courses arrived. Nodding, she waited as their courses were set down. Soon after, she began to munch down on the food.

Kalysto smirked as he watched the sky overhead turn from blue to stormy grey. Distant thunder rolled through the area and the ship swayed slightly in the wind. “Heh. So it would seem that where we’re living now has that effect on people, hmm? If your a good person your life is over, and if you’re neutral, uncaring, or downright evil, you get a good position in life.”

    “Very ironic indeed.”

General Sephiroth set his glass aside as his dinner was put down in front of him. He immediately tucked into the pasta side-dish that came with his food, still quite hungry.

“Would seem such a shame to waste this delicious meal by dumping enough alchohol on it to make me throw it back up again.”

Jenna hummed before she shrugged. “I suppose that may be considered as true. However, there are good people that do just fine. It’s just… some people who think they are good push it too much. That’s when they pass the limit and loose it.”

Noemi shook her head before she spoke in a serious tone to the General, “At no point did I suggest that you should drink that much alcohol. Don’t overdo it. I just am curious to see the General Sephiroth that your men see.”

General Sephiroth shook his head as he cut up a piece of chicken and stuffed it into his mouth. “You want the General that my men see? Well, no sex any more, that’s for certain. I’m not a homosexual. No romatic love or cuddling either. My men perceive me as a cold hard aggressive leader. They follow me because they are either programmed to, or because they are afraid. There may also be some degree of respect, but I am not entirely certain.”

Kalysto nodded. “If you follow me to Silvermoon, you’ll probably see a whole bunch more of those. If you think Rhy is bad, you should see some of the other Paladins. Self-important pretentious pricks.” He glared ahead of himself, quiet until the Zepplin docked at a rather depressing-looking platform.

    “Here’s where things get weirder.”

Noemi rolled her eyes at the general before she playfully kicked his shin. She then shook her head at him.

“That is not what I mean and you know it, General. Anyway, you have men that respect you rather than fear you. You also have stated that you have drank with them, hence you must have some camaraderie with them.”

    —-

Jenna narrowed her eyes as the ship docked once more. Soon after, she vanished from existence once more, slipping back into the pocket dimension.

Once out of sight, she commented, “I have seen many weird things. I doubt it’ll phase me.”

Kalysto snorted. “Not even the dead walking around like living people? Some are so bad they’re like hive-minds of maggots in a bag of skin. And don’t even get me started on the smell… compared to these guys, Trolls smell like buttercups.” He smirked and suddenly had the Dreadsteed run off the platform, crashing it’s hooves onto the soil below.

“If you told me you’ve seen shit like that before though… I can’t say I would be surprised.”

General Sephiroth jumped, startled, and nearly inhaled the piece of food he was chewing on. “Watch it!” He hissed at her. “Just because I have sat with them while drinking, it doesn’t mean I did it willingly…”

He scowled. “A lot of the time, one of them would accuse me of being weak. So I had to prove otherwise.”

Jenna released another snort before she took to the air in her more draconic form once more. She swooped down to fly over Kalysto before she responded, ~You fought Sesshou, I recall you being there. Did you not recall that her “physical form” was nothing more than decayed organic material? She was an energy being that could only manipulate matter in order to interact with the physical world.

~As for zombies, yes, I’ve seen planets infested with them. Sadly, they are not a unique concept to your world. However, most zombies are mindless and only victims of a viral infection or something like that. It all is quite annoying.~

Noemi chuckled at the General before she shook her head.

“Yes, of course. That makes it an unwilling event,” the Captain teased. “Anyway, you stated that they call you a cheap drunk. That doesn’t match up with the description you gave me earlier.”

Kalysto nodded. “Ah. I guess you could call them zombies. But they have minds of their own, especially these ones. Kind of gross, actually.” He rode up an old overgrown path, heading for a ruined decrepit city in the north.

“We’re nearly there by the way. You sure you can’t be seen or detected by other magicaly inclined people?” He grinned. “If not, why can I talk to you?”

“What do you mean?” The General finished off his food, pushing the plate off to the side. “How am I being contradictory? Being a cheap drunk simply means that I don’t need much to get drunk. Simply put.”

~You can talk to me because I am choosing to let it be so. I can make it so that you can see me as well, though I would appear to be ghost-like to you. As I said, I am at a frequency just below your sense of reality, so I am actually here, but I am not.~

As Kalysto reached the city, she landed next to him before she modified her spell to make herself visible to only him. As she had stated, she appears to be a spectre and semi-transparent as she made herself visible.

“As for other magically-inclined individuals,” Jenna continued, “while it may be plausible for them to sense me, I highly doubt it. Most beings don’t even know about sub-frequencies. Even then, they’d have to be one hell of a magic-user.”

    —-

“Now, that isn’t something that I would have expected from you, General,” Noemi commented. “With all your toughness, I would think it’d take you quite a bit to get drunk.”

Kalysto frowned openly at Jenna’s comment. “We best be keeping away from the Magisters then… they are the definition of ‘one hell of a magic user’… all of them.” A deep scowl came across his face. “Besides, fuck them anyway. Stupid stuck up pompous bastards.”

He flicked an ear as he dismounted and walked into the city, stepping over some fallen stone-bricks.

“Geez. With the way I’m talking you must think all Sin’dorei are pompous stupid stuck up bastards, huh?” He paused, thinking about that statement. “Well, shit. They kind of are.”

General Sephiroth sighed, clearly growing unhappier with the conversation by the minute.

“Toughness has nothing to do with blood-alcohol.” He shook his head. “As much as any other soldier would like to disagree with my statement.”

“Not to be too rude, but I hardly meet an elven race that is humble,” Jenna pointed out. “It seems to be something with the ears… At least that’s my guess. Then again, humans are about as pompous and idiotic as it comes.”

She loudly snorted at it. “I never once considered myself to be one of them, even when I did not know that I had mixed genetics.”

“However, I doubt either of us really cares about the background of the other. You are interested in my daughter. Hence, my history means little.”

Noemi hummed and nodded to the General’s statements. After a few moments, she finished off her meal before she pushed it to the side. She then smirked as she watched the General.

“I hope you know that you’re a very handsome male.”

Kalysto rubbed the side of his head as he walked into the ruined courtyard of the city. “Yeah, humans are idiots. So are Night Elves… So are…” He went quiet and stopped in his tracks to think for a brief period. “Ah, fuck it. Everyone sucks.”

He headed for the magical orb within the courtyard and put his hands on it. “See ya.” Within seconds he had vanished, for he had been teleported into the Blood Elf capital of Silvermoon.

Sephiroth shook his head. “You’re trying to change the subject.” He finished his meal not long after Noemi and pushed it off to the side with her plate, relaxing. “Ah, that was a good meal.” He glanced at the bourbon. “Just how drunk are you hoping I’m going to get?”

Jenna paused as the elf vanished from sight. Blinking, she moved closer to the spot where he vanished from before she leaned in to poke the orb.

“Hrmph, clever little creatures. Not too impressive, but clever.”

She then shrugged before she scanned for Kalysto’s life pattern. Within a few moments, she teleported to his side. However, she remained hidden in the in between dimension that she had slipped into. Still, Kalysto would be able to see her spectre form, since she hadn’t removed the bit of her spell that made her visible only to him.

Shaking her head, Noemi grinned at the General.

“Why must I give you so much direction? Drink to your contentment. I already bought the bottle.” She waved to the bottle of liquor that had been given to the General. “Just don’t drink so much that you will be sick.”

Kalysto was already running out of the Sunfury Spire building by the time Jenna caught up to him. He grinned up at her and kept running, seeming amused. “Don’t worry,” He chuckled. “That generally confuses most people on their first time through.” He paused. “I think. Oh what does it matter.”

General Sephiroth nodded his head and poured himself another shot, drinking it down. “We should order dessert. Now that I have something like this, I wouldn’t mind an icecream sundae.” He glanced at the bottle and began to read.

“I wonder how they managed to make this out in space.”

“It didn’t so much of confuse me as it did surprise me,” Jenna smoothly responded. “I simply did not expect such a magical artifact to be found in a place of such… disrepair.”

Shrugging, Jenna resumed following Kalysto. Since she was still in her draconic form, she had no issues keeping up with him by just speeding up her stride just slightly. Still, she walked behind him, for she was in no rush.

“Most of our liquors came from planets that we’ve traded with. However, if some have been made in zero gravity.. Well, that is not my area of expertise,” Noemi stated. She then lifted her hand to flag a waiter so that the General could order desert.

“Yeah well that place sucks anyway. There’s more to it, but it’s not important.” Kalysto continued running. He ran through most of the town, ignoring most of the others who were in the area and looking at him. When he ran past the inn, somebody called out his name, which only caused him to run faster.

“Damn it, I don’t wanna talk to him!”

    —-

Sephiroth smirked. “Zero Gravity Liquor. It almost sounds like a party-raver’s drink.” He waved down a waitress and glanced at Noemi. “Do you want dessert?” He made his order and relaxed in his chair once again.

“I get the impression that you do not want to speak to much of anyone in this place…,” Jenna commented. She then snorted as she spotted the curtains in some of the windows. “Quite garish..”

A roar resounded though the street before a series of stomps accompanied the roar. After a moment, a rather large tyranasaur-style dinosaur rammed into Kalysto, as if barring his way.

Noemi quickly shook her head in order to decline the General’s invitation.

“No, I am full already. I may take a bite or two if you leave some of your desert. However, I need none as it is. Thanks for asking, General.”

Kalysto loudly yelled in panic, hitting the marbled road as the dinosaur charged him. He put his head down and covered it with his hands, cringing.

“Oh god oh god, ohgodohgod… don’t eat me!”

General Sephiroth grinned. “Really…” He waved to the waitress, calling her back. He spoke with her for a few moments, then rose to his feet. “Come on, Noemi. We’re ordering this one to go.”

*”You can eat it off me later if you want.”*

The saurian stopped just as it stood above Kalysto. Once in front of him, the dinosaur bent down so that he could give the elf a slobbery lick.

Jenna tilted her head at the actions from the dinosaur. She then shrugged, for she didn’t know what to make out of the situation.

Noemi lifted up her left eyebrow at the General’s proclamation. She then grinned before she chuckled.

~Ah, I see your plan. Very well, I might do a bit of that. However, it is your desert.~

Kalysto wriggled about as he was licked, protesting rather violently to it. He reached up to try and push the snout away, still yelling like a little girl, flailing his legs as he tried to get away from the saurian creature. He finally tried to slide out from underneath it, sitting up, groaning.

“Ok, very funny idea to sic your dinosaur on me…” He flicked an ear. “Where are you, Seferia?”

Sephiroth nodded. “It is my dessert. And I intend to do whatever I want with it.” He grinned at her. “Are you feeling lucky?”

Seferia strolled out into the open from a nearby Inn. She had her arms crossed as she made her entrance. Once she could see Kalysto, she released a quick whistle in order to call Sebek over to her side.

“Who said that I was sicking him on you?” the supposed blood-elf drolled out.

    —-

“Hrm..,” Noemi hummed as she considered the General’s words. After a bit, she leaned in close to him. “I’m always feeling lucky.”

Kalysto slowly got to his feet, groaning. Both ears were heavily pinned back as he wiped the slobber off his face and he snorted at the other ‘elf’ as he dusted off his robe.

“How have things been here?” He asked, readjusting his sleeves and gloves. His hood was also misaligned so he pulled it back over his face, scowling. He hoped he at least looked evil and scary. However, he also knew that Seferia knew otherwise.

Another male followed Seferia out of the inn, a male clad in Mage attire. He had spikey brown hair and tainted eyes that didn’t glow nearly as brightly as Kalysto’s. He stood a few inches taller than the Warlock, and was certainly more heavy-set and broad in the shoulders.

“Well, look at you!” A loud laugh escaped him as he stood on the other side of Kalysto, reaching out to whack his shoulder. “Baby is finally growing up. Where have you been anyway? Hanging out in the desert with your Troll buddies again? Trying to get down with the voo-doo?”

“Oh shut up…” Kalysto hissed at him.

General Sephiroth cleared his throat as the waitress brought a rather neat looking plastic dome container, the ice-cream sundae inside of it. He nodded at her and headed for the exit, smirking.

“I wouldn’t talk so loud if I were you,” He told Noemi as he left. “People could hear us.”

Seferia gave the mage a rather wicked looking glare. She never really cared much for the lower beings such as the elves. However, she had grown to like Kalysto, to a point. So, she could stand and tolerate his existence. The rest were simply nuances.

“Hrmph, if only he were doing that,” the disguised dragon stated. “He’s been getting action from a human female. A weird one, but still a human female.”

She moved closer to Kalysto and sniffed him. “Hrmph, yes, still is. Human scent is all over him.”

Noemi grinned at the General before she nodded. “Yes, your advice is very good indeed. I should be more careful.”

She then stood up so that she could escort the General back to her quarters. As she left, she informed the host to put any charges to her tab.

“Oh yeah, just blurt it out in the middle of the open…” Kalysto furrowed his brows, loudly sighing. He gave the Mage an apologetic look, then glared at Seferia once more. “Don’t make it widely known, or I’ll come back on a regular basis to make your life a living hell.”

The Mage scratched his head and glanced off to one side, folding his arms across his chest. “So you decided you liked women after all, huh? Guess I’m not needed around here.”

Kalysto snorted at the Mage again. “Oh be quiet! It’s over, it’s all said and done. Now go find yourself another young impressionable male to go after.” He grunted at Seferia. “Sorry for the abrupt departure, but I have somewhere I need to be.

General Sephiroth stopped in the hallway. He shook his head and walked back into the restaurant to snatch up his liquor bottle, leaving once more. He walked back down the hallway rather briskly. The male knew how fast ice-cream could melt and he did not want to waste time. He headed back for Noemi’s quarters, reaching them not too long afterwards.

“Ah, good to be back.” He mused. “So do you want to get it on now, or wait until I partially finish this?”

Seferia narrowed her eyes as the mage sulked away. She then coldly spoke out, “He was an utter idiot anyway. I do not see why you spent one moment with him, ever.”

She snorted before she stepped closer to the elf. She then spent a brief moment looking directly at Jenna before she snorted and returned her attention to Kalysto.

“You have somewhere you need to be, hm?”

Rather than letting Kalysto leave in peace, the disguised dragon moved to follow him.

“Well, I should hope that you don’t finish the entire bottle, General. I’m not an expert on alcohol. However, I do believe that injesting that much alcohol would make you sick,” the captain commented.

She then walked over to sit down on her bed.

“As for the timing, well, that is up to you.”
