General Sephiroth glared heavily as he stepped into the shuttle, moving to sit in one of the passenger seats. “I meant my dimensional doppleganger.” He scowled. “Why would I mention anything about the elf. He is an idiot and about as dumb-headed as you can get. I don’t even need to refer to him as idiot, he responds to it!”

He snarled. “And no, I do not want him anywhere nearby. He creeps me out. He creeps everyone out. And I believe he has several violation codes all related to inappropriate touching. Why is he on your crew?”

Noemi rolled her eyes as she received General Sephiroth’s complaints. Still, mostly because she actually enjoyed seeing her lover’s feather’s being ruffled, she sent out a quick order to Sub-lieutenant Kalysto for him to report to the shuttle to be part of the landing crew.

She then looked back at the General, “The elf is a rather brilliant being, when it comes to making things explode. He also knows a good amount of magic, which has proven useful.”

General Sephiroth growled rather openly though. “He innappropriately touches people! He has never personally touched my personal regions, but I think he knows what would happen if he tried it.” He snarled. “I would break his fingers off.”

“I don’t care how useful he is, I don’t want him anywhere near me.” He snorted. “Enough about him. Call the other Sephiroth.”

Meanwhile, Sub-Lieutennant Kalysto had gotten the message from Noemi and casually ambled into the loading area. The elf grinned lazily at the other personnel in the area as he headed into the shuttle.
“Hey.” He said to General Sephiroth as he walked into the shuttle, slipping past him, taking a seat in the very back.

General Sephiroth’s eyebrow twitched as he walked past.

Noemi’s lips vaguely tilted upward as she noticed the twitch of Sephiroth’s eyebrow. Still, she remained professional and only nodded in a courteous manner toward the sub-lieutenant. After greeting the elf, she returned to her start-up operations.

However, she spared a moment to send the leather-clad Sephiroth a telepathic message, ~Report to the docking bay. We are prepping a shuttle for departure, and you are to be on it.~

General Sephiroth shot a glare at Noemi, sending her a telepathic message. *”You’re torturing me, aren’t you? Why is he even needed for a touch-down mission? We’re not going to blow anything up!”*

Sephiroth silently walked into the boarding area and stepped onto the shuttle. He glanced around momentarily before taking a seat in front nearby both General Sephiroth and Noemi’s position, getting comfortable in his seat.

“Hey, did you get a clone?” Sub-Lt. Kalysto asked General Sephiroth, grinning. Then he leaned forward in the seat and quietly released some rather odiferous flatulence.

Noemi allowed herself another quick faint grin before she steeled her expression again. She did enjoy it when the General glared at her. Somehow, she found his anger to be very attractive. Of course, she’d never anger him too far, just only a small bit.

~I do not know what you might be referring to. I just think it’ll be best to give him some fresh air and let him have gravity once more,~ Noemi expertly lied. ~Anyway, you’ve known him since he was knee-high. I should think you know how to deal with him by now.~

With that said, she glanced back to insure that everyone was strapped in. Finding that everything was in order, she fully started up the shuttle before she piloted it down to the pier below.

On the pier below, the Soldiers on the ground began to scatter. Nobody had announced an arrival of anything today, and especially nothing of flying planes. The tied dragons began to rumble in anger at the high-pitched engine noises, though just being there made them angry so they could have been growling for any reason.

Rhyderi took charge of the situation. He began to order and instruct the crew around, looking up at the plane as it docked onto the pier. While the pier was generally designed for sea-faring ships, he supposed it could just as easily unload a plane too. Though he had never seen anything like it before, and he was highly suspicious.

General Sephiroth grumbled and folded his arms. *”I don’t want to deal with him…”*

Noemi didn’t pay much attention to the panic below. Instead, she kept her attention on her flight manuevers. With ease, she navigated the vessel down to the clearest pier. Thankfully, the shuttles were designed for all-terrain, so she shifted the engines from horizontal thrusters to vertical before she eased the ship down into the water, where it easily became buoyant. After lining up the ship, she opened up the door so that her crew could unload.

As soon as the door was opened, she turned to look at Sephiroth, “You better leave first. I do not want my men to be attacked.”

Sephiroth waved his hands and unbuckled his seat-belt, nodding. “Understood. If you need extra assistance in loading and unloading, that can be done with ease.” With that, he slipped out of his seat, heading for the exit. He stepped out onto the dock not long after, waving a hand to the Soldiers nearby to indicate that all was well.

There was a considerably more relaxed atmosphere after his arrival.

General Sephiroth stepped off the ship, and then headed for the land, wanting to take in everything and learn more about his new home. He saw the dragons off to the side and snarled rather openly at them but did not get any closer. He didn’t trust their appearance at all, nor the fact they were tied and guarded.

Noemi followed suit not long after General Sephiroth left the shuttle. She kept her face passive and blank as she passed by the dragons, for she felt no reason to show that they affected her at any level. Instead, she only reached over to gently stroke her lover’s left hand for the briefest of moments in order to give him assurance.

On spotting Rhyderi, she stopped and stared at the elf. Frowning, she tilted her head to the side before she muttered, “I think this is definitive proof..”

Meanwhile, Jenna had sensed her mate’s arrival back into this reality. So, she slipped out of the house before she rushed over to the dock. By the time that the group had passed the dragons, Jenna was within sight.

Sephiroth had sensed Jenna’s approach. When he sensed her moving towards him, he followed her life energy almost automatically to meet her. Once close enough, he loudly purred in greeting and moved his arms around her, lowering his head to meet her ear.

“How long was I gone for?” He asked quietly. “I’ve found a solution.”

General Sephiroth just looked around, surprised. “This is… astounding…”

Jenna allowed herself a content grin as her mate greeted her. Feeling no need to be insecure, she returned his greeting by embracing him in return. She then nuzzled her nose against his colarbone before she replied, “You have been gone for just over a day. It hasn’t been long. However, it has been long enough.”

She then looked behind Sephiroth to the group that he was escorting. Tilting her head, she gave Sephiroth a questioning glance.

Noemi glanced back at Sub-Lt. Kalysto before she nodded at Rhyderi. “You should greet this one, since you know his language,” she suggested.

Sub-Lt. Kalysto smirked with happiness as he watched Rhyderi moving around. “Ah yes, I know this dude. I can speak his tongue. And if he’s a double of my brother, then he’ll definitely be happy to see me.” He nodded at Jenna and Sephiroth, looking confident. “I’m sure of it.” He moved across the dock and waved to the Paladin.

Rhyderi stopped, raising his brows at the dimensional clone of his brother. “Hello there. Can I help you?

“Sinu a’manore, annar,”** Sub-Lt Kalysto stepped over to him and grinned openly. “Dur shar neph’o diel shano. Lo tal eraburis do? O al shar ala talah mush asto’re bandu. O aman ishura tal.”** He moved to put a hand on the other’s shoulder. “Eburi an ri t’as’e anar dal’dieb, dur no adore alah do aman thera alshar.”**

Rhyderi stared back at the Sub-Lieutennant like he was insane. “I suggest that you don’t touch me again.”

“A day?” Sephiroth asked Jenna, glad to receive any and all attention he got from her. He watched her gaze and gave her a rather smug grin. “I managed to appeal to that technologically advanced group in your research notes. They’re going to fix Kether in exchange for their freedom from their authority. Apparently, it wasn’t very good to them.”

    ** Greetings to you, brother,
** You look rather sexy today. Do you remember me? I am your hot lover from another world. I have missed you.
**Allow me to fondle your buttocks, for it would make me very happy indeed.

Jenna hummed at Sephiroth’s statement. Sighing, she shook her head before she shrugged.

“Oh, what the hell. What’s another Sephiroth here,” she commented. “It’s not like we aren’t already mixed with dimensional mishaps here.”

She then frowned as she looked over at the group again before she looked over at her mate. “Seph, are you fully certain that they will be able to help Kether? They appear to be… military in nature, not medical.”

Meanwhile, one of General Sephiroth’s closest subordinates, Colonel Zackary Fair, approached his commanding officer. After looking over the area, he looked up at the General before he scratched the back of his head.

“Hey, Sephy… What exactly is going on here?” the black-haired man asked.

General Sephiroth frowned heavily at Col. Zackary Fair when he called him ‘Sephy’. He had been grumpy with the nickname given to him by his peers ever since they had branded him with it during military school in the academy. As much as he wanted to change it or pretend that it didn’t exist, it would seem that he was most certainly stuck with it.

“Don’t call me that,” He hissed. “We’re here because of Captain Noemi’s doing. She… wanted to explore something dangerous. And I don’t think we’ll be able to get back, somehow. That portal was a one-way thing. That is why she instructed those with prior commitments to stay behind.” He folded his arms. Most of the story was a lie, but there was no overhead authority to correct him. “So now we are here.”

Sephiroth nodded his head. “The Captain of the ship has informed me that they have medical personnel on board their main ship. Which is still orbiting the atmosphere.” He nodded to the craft nearby. “That is what they used to descend to the ground. We may as well take them in, we need more intelligent people around here.”

He watched some of the people go about their unloading, raising a brow as one of the lesser-ranked people dropped a metal crate on the ground by accident.

“Well, some of them are intelligent.”

Jenna looked up, being able to see the Halcyon from its position within the atmosphere of the planet. She then shook her head before she sighed.

“I don’t believe that’s the definition of ‘orbiting’,” she commented. Though, the comment held little importance at all. In truth, the terminology mattered little. There was a giant ship that was now stationed at least a mile over their heads.

Sighing, she nodded, “Very well, I hope this does work out, Seph. I’d hate to have your hopes shattered after doing so much.”

Col. Zack gave the General an innocent grin, “Oh, come on man. You know that you secretly like the name.” Winking, he chuckled at General Sephiroth before he returned to looking around at their new surroundings. “So… this is our new home? Permanently?”

Sephiroth slowly nodded his head. “I hope so, too. I just hope they can do something. It was a lot to invest on a blind hope.” He scowled. “They haven’t even looked at his brain scans yet. Either they were technologically advanced and very confident, or very desperate…”

“Secretly like the name? No. Under no circumstances, ever.” General Sephiroth snorted at him, before he nodded. “Yes, Zack – this is our home now. Unless you would rather live on the Halcyon… I’m sure that can be arranged. But we will spend our time here now, it seems.” He nodded once more. “Permanently. You may as well help the others. I suspect it’s going to be a long afternoon.”

Jenna hummed once more before she nodded. Under her breath, she muttered, “Probably desperate. As I recall, that dimension was in the middle of a prolonged inter-planetary war. I don’t blame them for wanting to get out of that.”

Shrugging, she looked at Sephiroth once more. She then smirked before she swiftly moved in to kiss him before he had the chance to think about the fact that they were in public. She had missed him too much to let him put his pride before her needs.

Col. Fair grinned at Gen. Sephiroth once more before he gently poked his side, “You only say that because you’re a hard-case, Sephy.” He then frowned. “And damn… I guess my date for next docking station is canceled. Damn, she was hot too..”

He then frowned as he looked over at Kalysto. Clearing his throat, the spikey-haired man rushed over to the elf before he gently grabbed his shoulders in order to pull the Sub-Lt. away from Rhyderi.

“Now, now, elfy. I think that’s enough of bothering the locals. You can save that sort of stuff for later.”

Sephiroth sighed lightly and began to wonder if he had even made the right decision. He nodded slowly at Jenna’s words and stood tall again, turning his attention to the group unloading the plane. “Of course… their being here will put more of a squeeze on the domestic house market… especially if they put themselves on the waiting list too.” He sighed. “Who knows…”

He made a slight noise when kissed, becoming aggitated. *”Do you even know where we are??”* He telepathically told her. Still, he didn’t push her away though, and looked around very nervously indeed. He returned the kiss for a brief moment before breaking it off, glancing off to the side as if it had never occured.

General Sephiroth folded his arms. “I’m a hard-case, mm? At least I’m not soft.” He replied with a very vague air of amusement in his voice. “You were dating somebody? Was it just a fling, or a more intimate close relationship? If it was just a one-off, don’t worry. I am sure there are as many easy-to-score women here as there were back on the base.” He watched him rush off and snorted.

“Noemi? We should get ourselves established with the local authority as soon as possible.”

Sub-Lt. Kalysto made an upset sound as Zack dragged him away. He was confused as to why his advances hadn’t worked on the Paladin but he shrugged, conceding as he turned away from the red-orange blonde elf.

“Yeah, alright.” Sub Lt Kalysto sighed. “I get to later? I’m bored. I want to harass them now. Or go blow something up.”

Shaking her head, Jenna reached up to rub the side of Sephiroth’s head before she whispered in response to him, “I do not care if we were being videoed right now. I’ve missed you. That matters more to me than what anyone should think. Anyway, we’re married. We’re supposed to do this sort of stuff.”

Noemi moved over to the General’s side as Zack walked away to Kalysto. Shaking her head, she commented, “You have quite the underling there. Very interesting that you even get along with him.”

A smirk graced her lips as she finished these statements. She then glanced around the pier before she hummed in thought.

“While we do need to establish ourselves,” the captain commented, “I do not see much reason for us to interfere in their affairs. I wouldn’t mind peace and quiet for once in my life.”

Meanwhile, Zack rolled his eyes at the Sub-Lt.’s question. The elf was well known for being a hassle, and now wasn’t any different.

General Sephiroth sighed at Noemi, returning his attention to Zack, scowling. “I get along with him because.. I don’t know. He’s an old friend. After you, he’s the oldest one I have.” He folded his arms, adding with a grunt, “What does it matter? He does his job. He earns his respect. He respects my rank. And he seems to know when and when not to push my buttons. It would seem that we have a proper working friendship.”

He looked surprised at her next statement. “You want peace and quiet? But there’s a dragon problem here too…”

Sephiroth lowered his head slightly, then moved down to kiss Jenna on the forhead, curling his arms around her. “Ah, so you did miss me.” He grinned. “It’s only been a day.”

“A day is more than long enough for me to miss your feline pupils,” Jenna purred out. As she spoke, she winked at her mate. Soon after, she pressed herself against him before she leaned in to kiss him once more.

Meanwhile, Noemi nodded at General Sephiroth. “Yes, peace and quiet,” the captain repated. She glanced over at the captive dragons before she tilted her head in thought. “I see no reason to believe that the problem here is anywhere close to what we had before. By the looks of it, these are all juveniles. That other Sephiroth also stated that the problems here were not too severe.”

Sephiroth purred lightly as Jenna kissed him again. He seemed more than awkward about being kissed in public and wriggled slightly, finally giving up long enough for Jenna to give him a proper kiss. He quietly sighed after it was over and grunted, looking regretful as he stepped away from her.

“I need to inform the ShinRa that I have returned. I also need to inform them about our new arrivals…”

General Sephiroth gave one of the dragons a cocky smirk, wandering over towards it. “Yes, they certainly do look like juveniles. They’ve also been here a number of days – they are really starting to stink.” He glared up at one of the bigger ones. “Can you talk? You must be feeling pretty angry about being stuck down by such pathetic bonds.”

The dragon made a noise of deep aggression and protest, swaying his head as much as he could under his ties. *”I’ll talk as much as you want if you would free me from these,”* He snarled. He reared his head back and blasted a plume of fire over the chains keeping his paws tied down. It did nothing. *”Anything would be better than bleaching in the sun.”*

Jenna released a very faint and short whimper as Sephiroth stepped away form her. However, she quickly looked to the side before she nodded at his words.

“I understand,” she confirmed. “Go ahead and do what you need to do for your work. I shall be at home. I’m glad that your trip was successful.”

So, she turned to leave the pier. She had no reasons to stay behind if Sephiroth had work to do, for she was not very interested in the newcomers at all.

Meanwhile, Noemi walked up to General Sephiroth’s side, though her attention was on both Sephiroth and the female with him. As they finished kissing, she made a soft mumble, “Incredible…”

She then frowned as she noticed the General’s words and behavior. After rolling her eyes, she leaned in to whisper to the man, “You failed diplomacy 101, didn’t you?”

General Sephiroth smirked back at Noemi, then at the dragon, kicking at one of it’s paws. The dragon released a powerful aggressive roaring noise and turned it’s piercing yellow eyes on him, chomping it’s head down within inches of his as a warning. The General stood there and grinned, knowing quite well that it was only a threat, and that it was clearly not interested in attacking.

“Diplomacy? What’s that? All I see are a bunch of stupid animals waiting to die.” He glanced back at the other two. “You morons waiting to be skinned and tanned?” He chuckled and moved back towards the ship.

Rhyderi glared at him. “Please don’t harass the prisoners, sir.” He moved over to the three and waved his hands at them, speaking to them quietly in Thalassian, doing his best to use a soothing voice.

Sephiroth sighed and headed back towards Noemi. “Do you have any paperwork I can show to the President? Or maybe you should just come with me yourself. I will arrange transport.” He teleported his PHS to his pocket and began to dial the office.
