Desiree glanced over the paper that Kalysto was showing her once more. She had not realized what exactly she was staring at before. However, now that Kalysto had explained it to her, it made perfect sense.
“Oh, I see,” Desiree responded. “Sorry, I thought you finished that list a few days ago. Thank you for making it.”
Jenna nodded at Sephiroth’s instructions, having no arguments at any point. So, she set her book to the side before she stood up.
“I’ll make certain to keep them informed to the extent that they deserve,” Jenna assured. “So, shall we go ahead and do this?”
August 7, 2010 at 10:19 am #46862Kat AclysmKeymasterKalysto frowned and flicked an ear. “Well. Aren’t you going to review it?” He huffed. “Seeing as though this was such an issue for you before.” He nodded to the paper. “Go look.”
Sephiroth nodded with determination. “Send me at your earliest convenience. I will either return, or you will drag me out. Either way, we’ll have information…”
August 7, 2010 at 10:24 am #46863SeferiaKeymaster“I am looking, Kalysto,” Desiree huffed in slight annoyance. She then took the paper from him so that she could properly study it. “I still don’t know half the names on this list. However, that’s fine. If you want, add a few more in order to balance out our sides…”
Desiree shrugged, for she approved of the list that Kalysto had made. She wasn’t certain what else she could say on the matter.
Nodding, Jenna moved over to Sephiroth’s side before she leaned up to kiss him. She wasn’t certain when the next time when she would be able to kiss him would be, so she wanted to make certain that she did that much. Once she was done kissing him, she stepped to the side before she opened a portal to the dimension that Sephiroth had chosen.
“Remember, if you see me there, or someone that looks like me, feel the bond. There are such things as dimensional doubles.”
August 7, 2010 at 10:31 am #46864Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth slowly nodded his head, lowering it slightly when he was kissed. He made a gentle tender purring sound at her before steeling himself, his expression turning back to his signature hard and cold scowl. He watched the portal form in front of him and he stood outside of it, watching Jenna for a brief period.
“Four days.” He said slowly. “Ninety-six hours. Set a timer, if you feel it necessary. I hope to return before then. Either way, you shall see me again. And I will not be fooled by dimensional fakes. Farewell.” He stepped into portal.
Kalysto watched Desiree with bated breath. When it seemed that she approved of it, he sighed, relieved. “I’ll go send them invitation notes. Did you send any out yet?”
August 8, 2010 at 12:20 am #46865SeferiaKeymaster“Farewell, my love,” Jenna softly responded. She stood there as she watched Sephiroth leave the room and dimension. Silently, she hoped that everything would be alright. Thus, once Sephiroth was gone from sight, she waved her hand to close the portal. She then went back to the bed so that she could resume reading, for she knew there was no point in worrying the entire time.
Meanwhile, Desiree shook her head at Kalysto’s inquiry. “No, Kalysto, I have not sent out any invitations,” she responded. “Well, for the most part, I don’t need to, but I haven’t sent any out. I don’t think we even agreed on a design for them.”
The other side of the portal opened up into the entry port to a space station. The station was one of the main hubs of the alliance planets. Hence, it was in and of itself large enough to be comparable to three New York Cities, if not more.
August 8, 2010 at 1:06 am #46866Kat AclysmKeymasterKalysto waved a hand and shrugged. “Oh it doesn’t matter what design you pick does it? I’ll let you pick that. As long as it’s not neon-pink.” He grinned. “I can’t think of much else to fuss about.” He paused, pondering. “Oh, and before the wedding I have to leave for a little while. It would just be a day or so at most.”
Sephiroth stumbled out of the portal, landing on the cold hard metallic floor of the entry-port. He quickly moved to his feet and brushed himself off, standing tall, scowling as he observed his surroundings. The air had an unusual scent and as he peered out the nearest port window, he quickly discovered that it was very dark outside. Another glance revealed that it actually wasn’t night-time at all, rather the darkness of space.
This made the male walk over to the window for a proper look – he was very intruiged. He had never seen space before, only pictures of it from various books.
“Hmmm… well that is interesting…”
August 8, 2010 at 1:35 am #46867SeferiaKeymasterAs Sephiroth was looking off into space, a rather large battle cruiser began pulling into port. The cruiser had several large gashes on it from past encounters with space-fairing dragons. However, it appeared to be mostly in prime shape.
As for the residents of the station, they mostly ignored Sephiroth. Most of them were too busy with their own lives and business to really care much about him. However, a few paused for a moment to look him over.

Desiree sighed at Kalysto. “We should at least get a series of demo invitations set up so that we can decide what looks best,” Desiree suggested. “Some people do keep them as momentos…”
She then looked up at Kalysto. She tilted her head, but had no objections to his words, “Ok, if you want to leave, that’s fine. I trust you.”
August 9, 2010 at 3:00 am #46868Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth just stayed near the window as the ship came into port. He subtly watched the people that moved out of it but said nothing, not overly interested in them. He was not interested in drawing attention to himself either.
For now he just needed to work out where to go.
—
Kalysto nodded his head. “It’ll be worth it. You’ll see.” He paused to think. “Ah, invitations… go to the printers in the ShinRa Building, the guys who do the newspaper. They probably have a printing service for the public. Go ask them what they have available.”
August 9, 2010 at 3:41 am #46869SeferiaKeymasterThe side of the ship that was docking had an identifying mark of “Halcyon” on the side of it. As the ship docked, it became apparent that it was much larger than most of the other cruisers in the fleet. Within the next few minutes, the ship was completely docked.
Thus, within twenty minutes of Sephiroth’s arrival, the crew of the “Halcyon” started to appear within the area where Sephiroth was currently standing. After another few minutes, a woman that resembled Jenna, even though her hair was graying and she showed signs of being within her mid-fourties rather than Jenna’s constant early twenties, stepped onto the station.
August 9, 2010 at 3:45 am #46870Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth raised his brows as he watched the short-haired woman more or less identical to the information and pictures on what he learned would be Jenna’s clone. He moved off the window and wandered over to her casually, scowling as he normally did when approaching people in the business-sector of things.
“I’m sure this is going to sound very strange. But we need to talk.” He said simply. “Somewhere private.”
August 9, 2010 at 3:51 am #46871SeferiaKeymasterNoemi was busy talking to her Lieutenant Commander when Sephiroth approached her. She paused in her orders as she heard his voice before she turned to face him. Soon after, her eyes widened as she looked him over, for she found him to be very confusing.
“General Sephiroth?” Noemi spoke in a formal tone, even though she was very bewildered. “I did not expect for you to greet me… Nor for you to be wearing such… non-regulation attire.”
She narrowed her eyes as she continued to look over the man in front of her. He appeared to be Sephiroth. However, there was much amiss, especially his apparent age.
So, she attempted to telepathically contact the man that she loved, ~General Sephiroth, what is your current position?~ However, due to the doppelganger effect, both Sephiroths were likely to receive her transmission.
August 9, 2010 at 4:19 am #46872Kat AclysmKeymasterThe native Sephiroth of the reality was rather quick to respond, as if on auto-pilot. He was already approaching the docking area when he had heard the arrival the Halcyon, marking Noemi’s return. He wasn’t there yet though, but still walking in the direction of the dock.
*”The Landing platform, moving into Seventh Pier, West-End of ship. Personal co-ordinates within the ship are are 51-X, -35.9-Y, 40.2-Z, heading West inward on your position.”* He replied. *”Still more than 1000 ft away however. I will be there in five-minutes, and certainly before Quarantine finishes with your group.”*
Sephiroth scowled at her.
*”I’m right here, you idiot. In front of you.”* He snorted. “Can you not see?” He looked around quickly. “We need to move before something undesirable happens. Now please, show me to somewhere we can speak in private.”
August 9, 2010 at 4:22 am #46873SeferiaKeymasterNoemi’s eyes dangerously narrowed as she received the responses from both Sephiroths. She had never had such an event happen to her before. To say the least, she was not pleased by this development. Still, she wasn’t going to make a scene quite yet. Instead, she sent “General Sephiroth” a telepathic image of what she was currently looking at.
~General, I believe that we may have a situation. Please come to my location post haste.~
August 9, 2010 at 4:29 am #46874Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth glared even more at Noemi now. “Oh so you’re going to turn me in?” He snarled. “Why did I even bother coming here…” He muttered. “This is exactly what I was trying to avoid.” He snorted at her finally. “Well don’t kid yourself. I know what you ‘feel’ like. I shall return later when you are in a more negotiable mood, yes?”
*”A situation?”* Noemi’s Sephiroth replied quickly. *”What kind of situation, Captain? Running En-route to your position now.”*
August 9, 2010 at 4:32 am #46875SeferiaKeymasterNoemi frowned at the Sephiroth that was standing in front of her. She had no idea how he was intercepting her personal transmissions to General Sephiroth. However, she was more than certain that was what he was responding to. Moreover, his responses were troubling her.
So, she promptly reached out to grip onto Sephiroth’s left arm before she hissed at him, trying to keep her voice from being overheard.
“Stay put,” she commanded. “I will evaluate who and what you are once General Sephiroth arrives. Until then, I do not know.. what to think of you. However, I wish to find the answer with him at my side. Understand?”
~Did you not see what I showed you, General Sephiroth? There appears to be a second you. However, it is young enough to be one of our eldest children… Perhaps..~
August 9, 2010 at 4:51 am #46876Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth was calmed somewhat as his arm was gripped. However, his eye began to twitch at Noemi’s telepathic signal. “It?” He snorted loudly. “It?! I am a male, you moron! And I am not your child.” He growled.
Meanwhile, the other Sephiroth approached, panting as he moved closer to the woman. He removed his sword off his belt and activated it, the blade making a vague whirring hum that could easily blend in with the mechanical surroundings.
*”He looks like he’s related…”* Sephiroth scanned the other Sephiroth and promptly narrowed his eyes, stepping back, seeming genuinely surprised as he found no neural-implant chips in the other male nearby. *”Careful, Captain! He has no idents… at all! He could be a rogue simulant sent by the enemy.”*
August 9, 2010 at 4:55 am #46877SeferiaKeymasterNoemi hissed at Sephiroth once more. She then pulled him closer to her before she shook her head.
“Please,” she softly pleaded, “stop making a scene. I do not know what you are or if you are another part of the Jenova project. However, I will speak to you. Just give Gener-“
She then looked up as she felt the other Sephiroth approach her position. Nodding to him, she greeted him before she frowned in thought.
~That is a possibility, General. However, he has shown no signs of violence. Aside from having a temper that matches yours, I don’t believe he’ll be a threat. Let us just go someplace safe and quiet to hear him out.~
August 9, 2010 at 5:10 am #46878Kat AclysmKeymasterGeneral Sephiroth placed his blade away again, vaguely dissapointed. He made a soft harrumphing sound and shook his head, having wanted to show off how protective he could be. He slowly nodded his head at Noemi’s instruction and waved a hand, scowling.
“He can come to my quarters. There are no transmission bugs there, and they allow for private matters.” He paused, narrowing his eyes at the other male, still highly suspicious of him. “Unless he would prefer somewhere more formal. I can arrange an encrypted conference room.”
Sephiroth scowled, snorting. He watched to see what Noemi would do, deciding that she was the more level-headed one out of anyone right now.
August 9, 2010 at 5:16 am #46879SeferiaKeymasterNoemi looked over the leather-clad Sephiroth before she looked over to her general once more. After thinking for a bit, she calmly responded, “I have the feeling that your quarters are more than adequate. Let us go there so that we will not have to deal with unnecessary quetioning.”
With that said, she gently tugged on the “younger” Sephiroth’s arm in order to direct him to follow the two of them.
August 9, 2010 at 10:28 am #46880Kat AclysmKeymasterGeneral Sephiroth nodded as he lead the way back towards the living quarters area, scowling back at the other Sephiroth occaisonally. “I don’t know, Noemi. I think the questioning is not unecessary.” He snorted aloud. “How do you know he’s not a rogue simulant sent by somebody else? By the enemy? Or even the academy itself as a test?”
He glared. “He has no implants. Naturals don’t get to grow that big without being added to the database you know…”
Sephiroth scowled but said nothing. He wasn’t about to get involved in an argument like this.
August 9, 2010 at 1:05 pm #46881SeferiaKeymasterNoemi kept a grip on the leather-clad Sephiroth as she followed the General to his quarters. Her eyes narrowed at her love’s questioning before she shook her head.
“Every simulant that I’ve ever encountered has been terribly incomprehensible and inarticulate,” Noemi explained. “I have not meant a single one that managed to develop any level of IQ that would fit a task for more than what it was grown for. Hence, I do not think this is the case..”
Noemi then looked at the Sephiroth in question once more. She looked him up and down before she frowned even more.
“Anyway, he’s been intercepting my psychic transmissions to you. That shouldn’t be possible. He has a lot of answering that he needs to accomplish.”
August 9, 2010 at 2:00 pm #46882Kat AclysmKeymasterGeneral Sephiroth snorted, still openly expressing his distrust. He growled and shook his head, leading the way back to his personal living quarters. He held the door open so Noemi and the other Sephiroth could go inside, tapping his foot, shutting the door once everyone was in.
“Now, what’s all the fuss?” He scowled at the other Sephiroth. “Why have you come here? When Noemi sends a psychic message to me, it goes to you as well.” He stood up, picking up his vibrating sword, aiming it at the other. “Explain yourself!”
Sephiroth just growled and shook his head. “Lower your weapon… and I will explain this properly.”
August 9, 2010 at 2:28 pm #46883SeferiaKeymasterNoemi stepped into General Sephiroth’s quarters right after the two silver-haired men entered the room. Once inside, she leaned back to lock the door in order to insure that they would have privacy. She then moved to the side of the General before she frowned at the unmarked Sephiroth.
“It is quite remarkable. You do seem to look exactly like the General did when he first received his rank…,” the woman commented.
As she glanced over at the General, the captain released a sigh before she reached in to grip onto his sword-arm. She then tried to guide it back down.
“Diplomacy and not threats are required for the time being, General Sephiroth. Please, keep your cool.” A smirk graced her lips as she continued on, “I know you’re younger and hot-headed, but try to keep from gutting him.”
August 9, 2010 at 3:12 pm #46884Kat AclysmKeymasterGeneral Sephiroth scowled as Noemi lowered his arm for him. He put his weapon away and moved to the door, flipping open the key-pad to punch in the 26 digit passcode to lock the door, seal off the speakers, and soundproof the cubicle space.
“I’m not going to gut him,” He growled, “Yet. But I am going to ask why he’s here.” He nodded at the other. “Start explaining yourself.”
Sephiroth sighed, not even sure if he knew where to begin. “I am also a General of rank, but I am probably much older than him…” He paused, thinking carefully. “I have an immortality placement over my soul, and an eternal-youth spell over me as well. So yes, I appear to be quite young in age.” He frowned at Noemi.
“I need your help.”
August 9, 2010 at 3:17 pm #46885SeferiaKeymaster“Immortality and eternal youth…?” Noemi repeated under her breath.
It was a bit much to swallow there. Such cases have never been encountered. There had been some that had regenerative powers that brought them close to immortality, such as the feline queen; however, she’d never once heard of a confirmed case of immortality. However, she knew that one’s age could be altered via magic, though the spells were usually unstable and thus discouraged. Still, this man was claiming he had both of these things. That was very peculiar.
Shaking her head, the Captain decided to ignore the programming that was screaming at her to turn Sephiroth into the science department. Though, she outwardly twitched for a moment as she repressed her directive.
After taking in a deep breath to steady herself, Noemi steeled her eyes before she spoke, “Explain.”
