Jenna: Hmm… Yes, I’d imagine that would be reasonable. *she moves in closer to poke at the various parts of the reaction process* It does seem to be very good work though.
Xelong: ~My ancestors were your parents. They no do tunneling.~
Zach: *stares at Xelong, then sighs, reaching over to pat his head* You really have no idea, do you….? Your mother is part dragon. Your grandfather is a dragon…. his parents were dragons, their parents were dragons, and so on, so on… I am talking about those ancestors. And when we lived in Halcyon, we saw evidence of their tunnelling, no?
Kalysto: My hope is to put them all into a bomb, and have it be used for military purposes one day. Something like this would make the perfect cluster bomb.
Xelong: ~My Father is Sephiroth. He no dragon at all. I know that.~ *flicks his tail* ~Sephiroth was only forced to be like dragon, but no dragon. More human in my heritage than dragon.~ *shakes his head* ~And some dragon tunnel, some don’t. See it in your books.~
Jenna: *chuckles* Well, yes, but you’d need my mate’s support for that one. *stands up* You also would probably need more than just yourself. Military projects are usually rather large endeavors. *she then moves rather close to Kalysto* It would be interesting though.
Zach: *sighs miserably and picks up one of the limestone rocks he prepared earlier, then holds it infront of Xelong’s mouth to see what will happen*
Kalysto: *seems a bit bothered with how close Jenna is now* Um, hopefully… *deeply frowns* Go set up a reaction of your own on the other table. Right now I only make stuff that sells. When I have more time, I will start experimenting with more fun things.
Jenna: Start a reaction of my own, huh? *smirks at the words* Very well. *she then leans in to kiss him, wanting to see what will happen*
Xelong: *tilts his head as the stones are presented to him. He then leans in to sniff them before he licks them* ~Salty. What these used for?~
Zach: You have a little internal organ like a stomach inside of you. Basically, you eat this. Then it gets turned into gas for fire. *points to his chest area* In there. I can show you pictures later.
Kalysto: *struggles slightly, then tries to push her away* Wha… wh… you’re Desiree’s mom!
Jenna: Yes, so? *tilts her head, not quite seeming to understand what the problem is* I have been with several partners in my time. And Seph wants me to stay with him forever more tomorrow. *shrugs* Figured I’d taste one last male before that happens.
Xelong: *sniffs the rock again* ~Sound strange.~
Zach: *tries to gently pry open Xelong’s maw and place the small rock inside* Too young to show any interest in it? You’re more than a year old, though… I can’t demonstrate how to eat rock, because I don’t do it…
Kalysto: *continues to stare at Jenna* But… you’re Desiree’s mom!
Xelong: ~Why not ask potion guy to make you potion to make you dragon?~ *he bucks back a bit as Zach tries to force his mouth open* ~Don’t want to eat that. No look nice to go down throat!~
Jenna: Yes, you’ve already said that. What exactly does that have to do with anything?
Zach: *stares at Xelong’s suggestion, then glances off to the side* That’s actually not a crazy idea… would that help you if I was a dragon? I could demonstrate things better that way. No?
Kalysto: I don’t think you’re understanding what’s wrong about that!
Xelong: *Shrugs* ~At least then you know what you talk about. Instead of talk crazy.~ *snorts at the rocks* ~No want to eat those.~
Jenna: Yes, I know I’m not understanding what’s wrong with that. That’s what I just said, that I see nothing wrong at all. I don’t understand the problem at all.
Kalysto: *flattens his ears as far as they go down. He gives Jenna a quizzical look, wondering if she’s actually serious or playing dumb. He shakes his head and slowly states again* You are Desiree’s mother. I’ve already got it going on with her. Can you imagine how pissed she would be if she found out I kissed her mom?
Zach: Stay here. *picks him up and places him on the sun-warmed rock, then runs out of the yard*
Jenna: Then, I should think that you simply do not tell her. If she never knows it happened, then it never did happen as far as she’s concerned. *she reaches up to gently stroke the side of Kalysto’s face* Anyway, it was an experiment. You didn’t taste as good as Seph.
Xelong: *glances down at the rock and sniffs it. After inspecting it for several minutes, he lies down on it*
Kalysto: *deeply frowns at Jenna’s logic* Yeah, but I still know. How’s that going to help the situation? *frowns at her, then shakes his head and tries to lightly push her away* I should be very flattered, but I’m just not interested….
Zach: *bangs the door open as he rushes inside, glancing around the shop for the owner* Hello? I need something right away.
Jenna: *darkly chuckles* Did you not listen? I said you weren’t as good as Seph. I suppose that means that Seph is indeed right for me. *she steps away from him* You served the purposes of my test. *she then looks up as she hears the banging* Hrm?
Kalysto: I’m glad you could determine that even though I don’t approve of being used as bait… *heads out into the shop, flinching slightly as he sees Zach, mostly because he looks like Sephiroth. He relaxes again when he realises it’s not him and nods* What do you need?
Zach: Find me something that will turn me into a dragon! Like, now. I need it right away.
Jenna: Bait? No, that doesn’t sound like the right word at all.. I just, needed to know for certain if tomorrow would be regretted or not. *she then tilts her head as she hears the voice in the next room* Dragon? Hrmph.. probably not Seph.
Kalysto: Umm… *moves away from the bench and crouches down, looking through some lower shelf items off to one side* Here. You have to put a catalyst in it containing DNA, and whatever you do, don’t taint it because you’ll turn into something weird. *offers him the potion* Get some dragonscale and put it in and drink it right away.
Zach: Where am I supposed to get a dragon scale….?
Jenna: *moves out of the back room before leaning against the door frame. She then rolls her eyes as she listens to Zach* As I recall, there are two dragons currently in this town. The dragon that you are taking care of, and… *growls* my… father…
Zach: *deeply frowns* I don’t think that’s a good idea. I don’t want to pull a scale off Xelong. I don’t want to go to that grumpy old dude either… how is that even going to work…? *whimpers slightly* I can’t get hold of a dragon scale.
Kalysto: Not my problem. But that’s the potion you need and it’s 600 gil.
Jenna: *crosses her arms then looks at Kalysto* What about a feather? Would a feather from a dragon work for Zach’s needs?
Kalysto: Feathers? Dragons don’t have feathers, don’t be ridiculous. You need a scale, something that you know belonged to a 100% pure dragon with no other kind of taint in it. Otherwise, well… he could turn into anything. At least it wears off, but he’s stuck like that until it does.
Jenna: Dragons do have feathers, Kalysto. There’s a specific kind that were labeled the plumed serpent that do indeed have feathered wings. The dragon that’s currently in town is just that sort of dragon. *she eyes off Zach* I would dare say that he’d shed feathers without needing to pluck any.
Kalysto: Well… if you can find feathers from a plumed serpent dragon, that’s also a pureblood, go ahead. But you need to use something dense, like the stalk part of the feather. The strings can get crap caught in them. And fleas. And lice.
